Home Depot security at home depot lost my property

Our lost Kitten was found by the security Gaurd working at the Home Depot at the Chula Vista .ca. location and then taken to her home where she claims lost it that evening. We were called by home depot informing us to pick up the kitten then When we went for the kitten the kitten we were told that the kitten was lost at the Home of the security Gaurd. They told us that it it was too bad and tough luck. This is a $250.00 purebred Siamese kitten. Once the Home Depot decided to take our cat home and then loses it is thier responsibility to make sure it gets back to us. We feel the security gaurd kept the cat because she told an other employe that she was going to take her to the vet. And when she called us about the cat she wrote "Are you going to pick up the cat or not" she doesn't have the right to keep the cat because we didn't respond right away also why would she say she's going to take our cat to the vet because it looked sick unless she wanted to keep it. Home Depot is responsible for taking our kitten home then losing it. Why would she leave a sick kitten outside in a box anyway?

Anna Securitas didn't hire you to take it apon yourself to take a cat that wasn't even yours. and You tried to use animal cruelty to justify taking my cat. I have vet exam papers and prescriptions made out to my cat. I also have a retired police agent and his wife who sold me the cat whos going to testify in small claims court for me when we serve you. Anna were going to take you to court. So if your reading this be prepared to make your case because we're doing this soon.

The comment made by Paul Jimenez that starts off "well more to the story" it was not made by me. I am the original person who commented.
This is more then likely the work of the security guard who took the kitten.
Look at the content. Would I be stupid enough to say that the Humane society has evidence against me if that was true?
As far as the second comment that "Neetdude" made about me abusing the cat, I made it a point to revile that I paid $250.00 for the cat because my girlfriend can take care of animals especially cats and how important it is to us.
She had the cat with her because she doesn't leave it alone in the house. Her losing it resulted from the cat being scared when they were loading wood on top of her SUV.
I have a important Question for you.. How do you know she lied to us when she told us the kitten was lost?
How do you know her suspicions were correct when she took it to the Vet?
? Do you know this person and are you saying that she kept the cat for herself?
This shows that the cat was stolen and that she kept it for herself.
The kitten was well taken care of by us and taken to the Vet when we first got her and the only thing was that it was prescribed eye drops for a easy to cure eye problem from our vet.
You cant take a persons pet away from them and make a judgment call like that. this woman stole our cat and no matter what her excuse she has for keeping it is outright stealing.
There's no abuse on our part just love and care for our cat.
If anyone from Home Depot is reading this, the above statements speak for themselves and confirm that these are fake comments to discredit us. maybe you should look into this matter and take a second look at who you hired to watch after your merchandise and your customers.

Paul

Where have I claimed animal cruelty to justify taking the cat. You are just making things up. Not once I even suggest that you abused your kitten, nor did I suggest neglect. I don't have the kitten it took off. and I would appreciate it if you did not go online and spread lies about me.

Look I told you before I don't have your kitten, it ran off. The reason that I took it to the vet was because it looked sick and you did not pick it up right away. Right now you are taking this viral and defaming my character, and if you don't stop I will take you to court. We are not responsible for your kitten. Also it took you a while to contact us and you pick up the kitten. The only reason that I took it to the vet was because it appeared sick. Now please stop defaming my character. I have contacted a lawyer for this defamation of character. i am sorry that you lost your kitten, but I no longer have it. I would never steal someone's pet.

Well more to this story, she took the cat to the vet and we are not allowed to get the cat back, because they say we are abusing and abandoning the cat, this does not matter it is just a cat, and well we did pay for it, we baid $250 for it and we should get the money we paid for the cat or she should return the cat. She told me that if I tried to contact her to get the cat back she would contact the humane society because there is evidence of abuse and neglect.

Now stop blaming me for posting that comment. I never posted anything in your name and posting my full name on a website without proof can get you sued for libel. I told you that I do not have your kitten. I never stated that you did not take care of your kitten. I just took it to the vet because It appeared sick and you did not come and pick it up right away. Now stop spreading false rumors about me or I will take you to court and sue for libel and defamation of character.

Home Depot voided transactions not processing timely manner

I rented a tool from Manchester, NH Home Depot Tool Rental area. As soon as I returned home, I quickly realized it would not start. I called the clerk immediately who disparingly informed me that it likely had a "flooded compartment". I informed him that I had limited time to get the job done and would bring it back immediately for a refund of the $50 rental charge and $100 deposit. Upon bringing it back and waiting a long time to be helped, the person called a manager who didn't even look at me, no one greeted me, or even had any kind of conversation - all between the staff like no one existed. "Karen" processed a "void" and handed me a receipt that indicated $150 void. Next business day, no return of the voided funds to my bank. Same thing following day, then the next. I called the store and they laughed and said "this never happens" then another staff member laughed and said "oh, this sometimes happens, we don't know why and it may take awhile". I also called my bank who informed me that nothing had been submitted from HD. Once they did receive it, they could open a complaint and get any overdraft charges returned to me. At this point, I've opened a complaint to the NH Attorney General, as I heard that in this same store, someone was arrested yesterday for making a stink about not getting their money back. This is flat out wrong. If it was a refund, even THAT would already be in the bank. Someone is floating these voids. Bad business practice, bad customer service, and bad on a moral level also. If it's antiquated systems, they need to fix them.

Home Depot carpet install

Carpet install not finished, no one calls back. 2 weeks they still don't have the stairs done. I called home office in Atlanta...closed on Saturday. When I call flooring I get hung up on, 3rd time. Remnants taken from job site. Trying to sell a spec. house.

I use to work for Home Depot, customers first, not at the lansing store. Heads need to roll.

Home Depot rebates

I also tried this scam. I went into Home Depot on May 14th the first day of the Menards 11% rebate and asked if they were honoring it. She said yes and gave me a paper with a website to go to redeem my rebate. We purchased a 400.00 mower. I went to the rebate page and there was no current rebate form only old ones. I then called and I was told they were uploading it to wait a few hours. 10 hours later I tried again my date was invalid. I called the rebate center to be told they started their rebate on the 15th even though Mendards started it on the 14th, So sorry was all I got. I called customer care and the store manager and both told me to return the mower and repurchase it. That was the only way. I live 30 minutes from a home depot. I will return it but I will not repurchase it and I have used it. I will also be cutting up my home depot credit card in front of the manager. This company has a lot to learn about how to treat customers. they should just send the rebate without me having to go back into the store.

Home Depot home depot carpet purchase and installation

I purchased a carpet for a home I purchased back in February, 2017. At the time of the purchase, Home Depot was running a special with free carpet installation. Also, Home Depot told me that the scheduled installation date could take up to 6 weeks after carpet arrives at the store. The installation was scheduled for early April, 2017, but on the installation date, the carpet installer inspected the new carpet and found a dark streak running almost the entire length of the carpet. So, Home Depot had to reorder the carpet. Neither Home Deport nor the carpet installer ever inspected the new carpet when it first arrived! If they had done so, they would have save the customer some time in waiting for the installation. But no, they waited until the very day of the installation, which was about 6 weeks after purchase, to find that the carpet was defective! When the replacement carpet arrived at Home Depot, which was a week later after the defect was detected, neither Home Depot nor the carpet installer would install the carpet right away. I have called Home Depot and the carpet installer and pleaded with them to have the carpet installed as soon as possible, but to no avail. I already paid for my carpet back in February and have been waiting patiently since February to move furnitures into the carpeted area. In the meantime, I really can't move into my home. Again, I had to wait another 6 weeks or more in order to have my new carpet install. Its now May, 2017, and I've just heard from Home Depot carpet installers that I've been scheduled for carpet installation for June 9, 2017. This is unacceptable! I will not let Home Depot get away with this! I will let as many people know about the terrible service that Home Depot gives once they have your money. I have not received any apologies or offers of compensation for this horrendous delay. Home Deport customer service is really, really terrible!

Home Depot customer service and pro service

I just left the home Depot store 4112, I just experienced the worst and most disrespectful service I've ever had at this store, I went to buy 120 cinder blocks, 10, 4feet rebars, 20 bags of ready mix cement, two shovels and an hand ax, all I wanted was to pay and have it delivered, first I went to the pro shop were I have my account, rep Chris was disrespectful and after cursing at me walked away just cause we wanted to have the items delivered, I the went to Customers sevice desk, were I waited over an hour to then be told no management was available and to go back to pro shop to place my order, the guy then brushed me off and called an other customer and tried to attend them, I ask to speak to a manager and told if I didn't like it to leave but he was not calling anyone, , never once I've I ever had or seen such disrespectful people in my life, I've been shopping at that same store for the past 5 years, and this will be my last time..that is no way to treat a long-term customer. ..

Home Depot denial of veteran discount

Today (5/5/17) I made an on phone purchase in your Rochester NH store. I requested the veteran discount and was informed that you (Home Depot) only accepted certain military ID.
The Commonwealth Of Mass offers veterans to have a veteran stamp on their MA drivers license after presenting a valid DD-214 to the MA registry.
It is very concerning to me that Home Depot does not recognize veterans by confirmed means when your competitor (Lowe's) does.
I will start bringing my business their way since they seem to appreciate the veteran service and commitment.

Home Depot tuff shed order # 1109102

Bought shed from home depot store # 2758 on 3/1/17 missing parts / two door closer's stops display showed these are included. did not have"for display only" stickers on them as tuff shed claimed. several calls with no satisfaction. home depot rep. bill apel [protected] no help just gave me tuff shed's # and was told by steve, tuff shed rep. they do not sell those but could install them for an additional price. the display shed door had hinges, handle & locks. pamphlet had no upgrades on these dsoor closer's. I did not get what I was shown. I do not need them installed just provided. I sent pictures and have filed a claim, no response. the upgrades I ordered was one additional door, pt floor & roof vents. these door closer's I believe are part of the door function and they keep the door from blowing shut on me. it also closes the door tight. please help resolve this. home depot sells these door closer's. (see last photo) what makes this worse I brought this to tuff sheds attention and the display still has no display stickers on the closer's. this should have been a simple fix for 125.00 dollars. john martin [protected]

Home Depot order cancellation

I placed an order online W595924023 today. One reason I purchased the mower I did was because it was suppose to be available for pick up today. The other reason it's replacing the mower I purchased from you 04/28/2017 and it was the best. Instead of getting an email to pick up I got an email stating the order was canceled and my money will be refunded in 3-5 days. I called the 800 number. They said Columbus has 4, but I would have to wait for refund. He transferred me the store and they told me nothing can be done. At this point I realize that since the money has already been refunded that not much can be done about that, but I think something could have been done. For instance order the product and keep the invoice open or transfer a mower from Columbus. I don't feel like customer service even tried. I hope they really didn't have in stock and they didn't just not want to check in the order. Maybe there's nothing I can do and it's just to bad for me, but this sucks. Anyway the web site said the price of $1099 ends 4/30/2017 it then goes back to $1199. Can I at least get the mower at that price since there is no way the money will be refunded by then?
Unhappy Customer.

Home Depot customer service representative janet thompson

I was shopping for low cost cabinets at the Goleta store. I approached Janet Thompson, a customer service representative sitting at a desk in the custom cabinet department. She was leafing through a catalog when I approached her. I asked, "which of your cabinets are the least expensive". Ms. Thompson rolled her eyes and said, I dunno know". I repeated my question, innocently assuming I hadn't been understood. Ms. Thompson gave me a condescending sneer pointed behind her head, and said, "look online or on aisle 37". She then looked triumphantly down at her catalog. Ms. Thompson had no intention of helping me. She could have asked, what kind of cabinet I wanted, where I planned to install the cabinet, she could have mentioned that Home Depot offers a planing service that comes to you home to help you, or any number of other questions including my name or saying something like hi, my name is Janet Thompson. I turned in the direction that she waived and headed toward aisle 37. I was livid, to the point of rage tears. I told my husband what had happened, and said I wanted to report it to management. I walked back to her desk, and politely asked if she had a card. She looked bewildered, and handed me her card. I spoke with the manager, who apologized.

I recently ordered counters from Janet at Home Depot in Goleta. My wife and I spent 2 years checking back in and getting numbers from her while our home renovation dragged on. She was always really friendly and patient, never like, "oh these guys again." She was very organized and always remembered who we were.

That Home Depot is always crazy busy, so I could see how someone could get frustrated (I have become impatient with the customer service desk in the front before). My experience with Janet has always been very positive.

Home Depot water heater purchase/installation

Hello, I have been a loyal home depot customer for over 10 years now. Home Deport advertised same day service for Water Heater installation before noon. Walked in the Home Deport Store at 11am (Hillsdale / San Jose, CA), worked with Erick (store Clerk) selected the water heater I need purchased. I was directed to speak with your 3rd party installation vendor. The vendor support person (Mark) basically informed me they will "not" be able provide same day service. My appointment was deferred to next day. This is simply not in line with the advertisement published by Home Depot. This is "false advertisement". Home Depot Management and the Shareholder ought to address this immediately. You don't want to lose you valued customer.

Home Depot price match between 2 stores

04/21/2017

my daughter and i have both been looking to purchase area rugs for our patios. There are 2 home depot locations in the schreveport/bossier area. My daughter found 2 rugs at the bossier location and sent me a picture on my cell phone of the product number and price. When i called the shreveport store, i was informed that the price was triple what the bossier store was, and because it was on clearance in bossier, they would not price match the item. The item # is [protected]. The price at the bossier city, la store was $59.03. The price at the shreveport store was $167! unbelievable that home depot does not price match between their own stores. I spoke with the assistant store manager in shreveport as well as a customer care specialist at corport - to no avail. No resolution to this. In february, i applied for a home depot credit card, which i received and was prepared to use today. Instead i cancelled my acct [protected]), cut up the card and have vowed to never shop at home depot again. Lowes is just down the road about 1/4 mile and i have never had issues there.

Home Depot pecial order/manassas va store liberia ave

do not shop this store for special orders! we special ordered a front door, cost 3k with installation. the door was not what we ordered. when we went to the store the employee told us the door is shipped from jen-weld to the installer, that was a lie, the installer told us he picked up the door from home depot on liberia. the glass was wrong on the side light and the wood was the wrong color in places. now you would expect some sort of customer service when your special order is wrong wouldn't you? wrong! ms. oseo called two days after the debacle to say that they would expidte the door which means waiting another month, we must have different definitions of expidite since that was the same time period we waited for the door the first time. the only assurance we were offered about anyone checking to be sure the second attempt at the door is correct was for us to come to the store to inspect the door before it is sent out for installation in may. can you believe that? home depot will not inspect an expideted special order to be sure it is correct after the vendor shipped an incorrect door they are making that my responsibility. i am not their employee, i have already lost a day of leave for their first ### up and now they want me to inspect the door before they waste another day of my leave. save your friends and family from this store's incompetence. the only party that hasn't lost anything in this transaction is home depot and they are treating us with complete disdain. if you want customer service or quality assurance this is not the place to shop.

Home Depot emco storm door

Long story short, I made two trips (1/2 hour drive) to the store to purchase a screen door and three phone calls, only to be treated badly by the so-called manager "Jesse", on my final attempt to order my door. I was quoted a price on my first visit to the store, which the price was also listed on the display. When I called the next day to order the door (had to get exact measurements), I was quoted a different price. I then returned to the store that night, and the employee working that day was unable to even pull the door up on the computer, that I was trying to order. He then left my information for the manager to return my call on Thursday, saying that he could order the door I wanted in a different series and that the manager would give me a discount for my hassle. I received no phone call on Thursday, called the store again, and they said he was not in. Jesse then calls me on Friday, and was very rude to me, and would not even listen to a word that I was saying, he just kept saying that he could not give me a discount on the door, which I did not once request. So I wasted an entire week, my first visit to the store was on Sunday, finally got my call back today, Friday, only to be treated rudely by your so-called manager. I will now give my business to Lowes, obviously you have a lot of employees that need better training to do their job! Very disappointed!

Home Depot veteran's appreciation

Good afternoon,

I have been a loyal home depot customer for over 30 years now. After being made aware of the military veteran's privilege, I was gratefully able to take advantage of the 10% discount on several occasions. However, on 11 apr 2017 while in the fort worth, tx store I was told my texas driver’s license indicating my veteran status, (For which I had to present my dd214), would no longer be acceptable proof of military service to my country.

Veterans without medical discharges or military retirement have never been issued an official dod veteran id card, *see insert below. The proof of military service home depot is now accepting are forms of id only available to the select few veterans with a medical discharge or military retirement.in other words, this policy change takes away home depot’s right to claim they appreciate the past service of veteran’s.

* veteran id card. This is where it gets a little tricky. There is no official dod issued military veteran id card. However, the va medical system may issue id cards for veterans who are in their system for service connected disability benefits and certain other situations.

Home Depot bad service on delivering of washing machine

On the 03/30/17 my wife paid 480.60 on a washing machine and was told it would be delivered to my house that it had to be ordered even though there was a brand new one on the floor. If we bought 2 new hoses they would set it up. On the 04/05/17 we got a confirmation that it would be at our house between 12 and 4 o'clock on the 04/06/17. On that day at 4 30 we did not get it. I called the number that was gave to me for questions and they checked on it and was told they don't deliver to that zip even though home depot in eldorado ar said they do. I checked on they computer and it saied it was loaded on the truck and ready. I called home depot in eldorado and some how i now have to waite till 04/11/17 to get my machine. It would have been less trouble to have went some where else. I wont do or recommend this again. Unacceptable.

Home Depot my generator

Home Depot called me for me to pick up my generator that they could not fix because they said they don't work on my brand gen which they should of told me before they sent it to Atlanta Georgia which that place was a joke. When I came down to the store to pick up my gen it had scratches all over it and they bent the frame on it. I couldn't believe the condition of my gen when I got it back. The gentleman working there said that he would try to fix what was bent and broke but there's nothing that he could do for the scratches.I am a person that takes care of my equipment because I work VERY HARD FOR MY MONEY so when I buy something I TAKE CARE of it because I worked hard to get the money to buy it and for Home Depot to present me my gen in the condition that they did it was like a slap in the face.Another thing, the place that they sent it to is full of crap, that's another story but I would recommend Home Depot to use another repair shop.I must say that today I will NEVER look at Home Depot the same.I wanna know what Home Depot is going to do for me on this situation. I'm in shock over how they treated my gen.
