Home Depot delivery failure

I purchased 2 outdoor lights for 30.00. the Fedex driver didn't follow the clear direction on the door to throw package sover the courtyard fence b/c of the high package crime rate in Philadelphia. I called and was told it was delivered outside your door. They said they had a picture which was showing they didn't follow directions.

I was told they have no responsibility for stolen packages. I have no evidence they were delivered and never didn't get a replacement when this has happened to me before.

Home Depot Frigidaire upright freezer

Purchased freezer online 8/13/22 delevery 8/19/22 Did not plug in till 11/16/22. Remodel pantry to accommodate new freezer. Morning of 11/19/22 freezer was at 0 degrees empty. Filled freezer full of frozen beef freezer increased in to temp to high 40's to be expected with door open. Before bed around 9pm freezer was at 12 degrees. 11:30Pm alarm started going off temp increased to 33 degrees. I did 2 things frist almost maxed out thermostat second pull all meat off of back wall maake sure there was plenty of circulation. Temp dropped down to 20 over a 3 hour period. 11/20 watched all day never went below 20 degrees. Starting to get concerned I made the hour drive to Tucson homedepot #410. I never was able to get any true answers. So I lowerred my standards and went t lowes spent $700.00 on another freezer that I should have never needed. After I emptyed your freezer temp started to drop then it started alaming with blinking lights. Unplugged. 11/21/22 I called [protected] talked to appliance team then transfered to square trade worked with them for 45 minutes they said they would send me email with instructions on next step never received. I then called [protected] spoke with customer service rep. Worked with her for hour or so. She got me on the phone with frigidaire. Frigidaire is trying to get me an appointment sometime over the next week. Crazy. If I didnt catch this all of my beef would have gone bad. Talkiing way over 1000.00 dollars in beef. Over all outcome I have a new freezer that does not work and who knows when or if it wil be fixed. Have another new freezer that I should have not needed wasted fuel my time and no true potential outcome of this bad situation. I feel today all I received was the run around. Kinda disappointed in my overall experience from homedepot. Thank you and so sorry had to do this on my phone.

Desired outcome: I would like to return this freezer for full refund. Store credit is fine.

Home Depot Online ordering

Ref: Order # WB29436683.

Placed an online order November 6, 2022, that I decided to cancel after being notified that item would not be delivered until December 8, 2022. I attempted to cancel the order while the order was listed as not shipped. When order placed shipping time was listed as 5 days and not changed to December 8th until after being notified the product had shipped. When I inquired, about shipping I was told that estimated time was not correct which is understandable, but a 30-day delivery window should give the buyer the option to cancel the order. I'm now forced to accept a product that I'm unable to use in a timely manner, must return with a shipper to store if delivered when I not home to refuse delivery due to weight and size of order. Shipping information is still unavailable 11/20/2022.

Desired outcome: Change cancellation times/procedure for items that have a 30-day delivery time.

Home Depot Lifetime warranty not honored.

I purchased luxury vinyl flooring in 2017. I have filed a complaint with Home Depot beginning June 2022. They are not responding to me. Not returning promised phone calls and not moving forward to any resolution. It appears that their strategy is to dodge and ignore until the problem goes away.

Brought the problem to the attention of Mike Schrandt on June 14, 2022.

Installation company reviewed my flooring in June 2022.

Home Depot Purchase of a cub cadet zt1 mower

On 10/13/2022 I purchases a Cub Cadet ZT150" mower with the hour meter, fender kit and double bagger. It was set to be picked up on 10/19/2022. After no communication I called on 10/27/2022 and was told that the mower was not ready and I would have to call back on Monday, 10/31/22, and talk to Ken, the manager who sold me the mower. I was then told by Ken that they did not have the bagger in stock and was not certain when they could get one. I asked if any other store had one and was told that another store had three. I asked if they could get it from there and was told that they could not transfer items between stores. I told him to just put the items they had on and I would pick up the bagger myself. He told me they could not install it if I bought it from another store that I would have to install it myself. I then drove 32 miles to the other store, instead of 6 miles to my local store only to find out that the bagger was not on clearance there, it was $ 279.00 off, so I had to pay full price, $579.00 instead of $300.00. The mower was delivered on 11/3/22, twenty one days later. Needless to say I am not happy at all with Home Depots service or their so called customer service. Would not recommend them at all.

Desired outcome: Refund for the extra $279.00 would help.

Home Depot Asurion extended warranty service purchased in 2020 thru hd

I don't know how Asurion could ever have an A+ rating at BBB as printed on the back of their brochure.

Purchased Asurion ext warranty plan through Home Depot when I bought washer in 2020. Unfortunately I had to call for service in September 2022. So they ordered a part. The first service call repairman was very rude and did nothing accept order another part and reschedule appt. 2nd repairman replaced the two parts, did not run wash cycle to test repair. Closed the service request. 5 days later I wash a load of clothes, machine doesn’t work. Called in another repair, asurion orders another part. Repairman comes back says he doesn’t think it’s that part, orders another part and another repairman comes out. Washer still doesn’t work. They never close out these service calls because washer not fixed. Fast forward to November 18, and 7 repair visits and 6 parts replaced and nothing has fixed the washer. They have lumped all these service calls under one claim so I will never get the washer replaced under the 4 claims for the same failure. And they ordered another part and appt again. This is a scam on the consumer and a vicious cycle of never ending parts and service calls. Home Depot should be ashamed of this product they sold their customers and must have realized their error and switched to another extended warranty provider and left their customers to pay the price. So disappointed in the dishonesty of HD and most of all Asurion. One of their techs I’ve been unfortunate to have has no customer service in him. Rude, disrespectful and hostile. Showed up at 6:30pm for appointment window of between 1 and 5. Most horrible experience I have ever had with a repair service. Asurion is not worth it.

Desired outcome: Asurion plan - buyout if they don’t fix it in 4 claims for same failure. 7-8 service appts /6-7 parts and almost 60 days without a working washer. Purchase price refund of $874.66 so I can buy a new washer.

Home Depot HRQ16N3

The above purchase from 2020 contained incorrect User manual & Warranty references. My reporting of temperature control issues during first 12 months went to GE Appliance USA (GAU). After complaining at BBB, Home Depot finally acknowledged internal errors. The Executive Escalations contact, Shakeia, then redirected attention onto GE Appliance Caribbean (GAC) for technical support, but GAC refused any coverage because by then they felt the Warranty expired. They did not base that determination on actual months of user having fridge, they ignored HD's months of COVID delayed delivery in order to deny. So next, Shakeia verified stories given and redirected to Maria Pena, acting Store Manager 9/2021. Maria gave me her cell phone, gift carded me amount GAC wanted for service, and said to call her back if Warranty issues persisted. Four service calls to GAC resulted in components replaced inside defective fridge but did not correct issue. Now, GAC has denied additional Years 2 through 5 referencing same warranty above. This time, Zahamaris Lalaite, GAC CS, stated that simply did not exist. She asked for copy, was sent page referencing said warranty, made no reply. So back at local store, Assistant Mgr Albert & "Ruben" interviewed me with technical service paperwork, Maria's GC receipt, etc. They swore up and down no such warranty at HD is enforceable, but Mgr Miguel Montalvo received my email requesting in store exchange of fridge for another off of sales floor referencing actual sales price $921. No reply to email. I spoke with him today and he still refers to Albert who made no follow up with me. he says that Albert will return to store 1300 and then they can reconnect. To my point, reaching anyone at this store (Mayaguez) who answers and transfers to correct person is a fiction. The above conversation for speaking with Montalvo took 62 minutes. Many other records show their store disconnecting calls on hold or hang ups after saying the manager would be transferred to. When I go back to original 2021 BBB resolution/paperwork for reference with these agents, they get that look of rolling their eyes with, "but she [Maria] does not work here anymore," as if that justifies the longstanding dis being expressed over and over. BBB's Brea, who originally set up complaint for HD's Shakeia to deliver resolution, has reissued complaint this time at GAC but they will no doubt point their crooked fingers at HD who allegedly "sent you on the wrong path, we are NOT GE APPLIANCE USA!" So my wish now is to find a corporate overseer who will stand up for Maria Pena and not bad mouth her in her efforts to address this local store's many internal issues. If ANN-MARIE is way or too busy, please just find someone willing to step in for her instead. But I feel that GE's Warranty was disrespected by everyone involved except buyer. At GAU, Lee M. Mathieson,

Director Field Services of GE Appliances, Latin America and Caribbean apologizes every time we correspond. His view, why aren't the GAC folks taking GE's warranty seriously? Every stone was turned before asking VP Campbell, now absent. Can you please help? Please for love of God do not re-instigate another carousel ride with Customer Service who volley and hang up on callers with no accountability -- thereby disrespecting HD management and ignore y history/evidence still under review. Home Depot Asurion

Home Depot TAKE responsibility for the performance of the contracted (Asurion) service provider. It is reasonable to expect that when home Depot sells a service contract using the Home depot name they are responsible to the customer. GE WASHER STILL NOT FIXED 60 days and counting. we have called a Asurion and Home Depot

Get fake promises we need HOME DEPOT TO GET THIS RESOLVED.

Home Depot Repair lawnmower

Home depot in glendora ca. Has had my lawnmower for 3 months to just rebuild the carburetor. I have called 12 times and they say just wait another week--it's been 12 weeks. I wrote a letter to the manager-no reply, they have had it since 8/15/2022. My receipt # is- h6617-304016.

Home Depot Thomasville cabinets

I purchased Thomasville Cabinets for my kitchen in July 2021. They arrived in early December 2021. We started to install them in January and February. Shortly afterwards I noticed abnormal wear on the doors. It started on one cabinet, then it happened on other cabinet doors. I covered the areas with the touch up kit, only for that paint to wear off. This happened within 3 MONTHS of installation. I contacted Home Depot and got nowhere. I contacted Thomasville, they sent a rep who was going to have our cabinet door paint tested, but within less than 24 hours we were told that it was "normal wear and tear". I want warranty coverage. I spoke to reps at Home Depot and at Thomasville with no resolution.

I was advised to send a complaint to the Attorney General for both Home Depot and Thomasville. I am hoping that I don't have to go there but any conversations that I have had with Home Depot got me nowhere. Your "Social Email" that I had with "Karen" has only met with silence after I asked for restitution. Pictures of my cabinets should be in your file. I have sent them numerous times.

Desired outcome: Replacing the cabinets is not an option. The maple trees killed will not be in vain! I asked for $2000.00 credit so that when I need to have them repainted, it will not be at my expense.

I’m with the NASFL Naval Museum Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood Airport.

I been buying supplies for the Naval Museum Memorial Gardens for the past seven years at Home Depot.

Home Depot would give some donations to the Naval Museum.

I went to Customer Services spoke with the Cashier, ask to speak with the Manager to explain about the discount deal our local Home Depot had with the Naval Museum.

I waited for him he finally came an just walk passed me. He had a name tag that said Glen, This was very rude.

I’m a Vietnam Veteran an have not been shown this type of disrespect at any Home Depot store that I have been in till now.

Home Depot Sales

On Tuesday 11/08/22 I went into the store at 3721 Ambassador Caffery Lafayette, La to purchase a washing machine for my mother and I told the sales representative which machine I wanted and that I wanted Home Depot to remove the existing washing machine and haul of the existing washing machine. After charging the transaction I noticed that the $40 fee for hauling off the machine was not on my paperwork. So instead of adding the $40 to the existing order of 529.00 the Sales representative cancelled the existing order and opened another order which charged my debit card another $570 dollars ( Sale [protected]) which included the haul off fee.

As of today I have not been able to recover my $529 from Home Depot.

Did not expect to be out of this money for this length of time - which was not a customer error but an error made by a Home Depot Representative

Home Depot Online order

Ordered 2 weeks ago now. After having to call 3 times to sort out mistakes they made, I finally got shipped my packed last week. Upon opening, wrong tool inside. Now I have been sitting for 2 weeks twiddling thumbs because they can't figure out how to send me what I ordered. Good thing I have this the off to work on my big project... They can't seem to figure out anything at support as atm there are 6 different emails in my box now, all said they would look into and gave 24-72 windows. All have passed time and I still wait with no idea if they ever giving my paid item... Bad form depot...

Desired outcome: I would like an answer why I've waited weeks to have something that was quoted 3 day shipping, and should have shipped from a location an hour away... and to actually receive my paid for item...

Home Depot Management at the Dothan Alabama store

I made a order online and someone from the store called me and ask me how long it would take me to get to the store. I told the young man I could be there with in the hour. He said he would start pulling the order. He called me at 12:32 eastern time. I arrived at 1:35. The young lady at customer service didnt know anything about the order and tried to find out if the order was being processed. She found out that once the stock personel found out how much was on the order no one wanted to fill the order. She did get management involved to have someone start filling the order. Now I have been at the store for over a hour waiting for the order to be filled. No apologies from management, thanks for shopping etc.

when I placed the order I noticed the exterior screws would be shipped at a later date so I cancelled the order online. NOT found out when got home that it still got charged to my card and was going to delivered Thursday on the 17th of this week which we are going out of town and won't be home. I'm a little upset to say the least the last time I was there the store was more organized. I get it help a problem but management is supposed to control these things.

Home Depot Vinyl fencing

On 9/21/22 we went to the store in Elyria, Ohio to order vinyl fencing and worked with a gentleman at the service desk. We told him what we wanted and he put the order together but said that it would probably be 4 weeks before we could get it, which we agreed to. The order was delivered and I called my installer to come and do the job. When he arrived, he went to start putting the fence together and told us that the line post, corner posts, etc. were wrong and he could not install it. When we went to look at the posts, you could see that there was not way that there were correct. I got my sales slip and we started to look at them and see that what the salesman sold us was post for a "Veranda"fence and fencing that was made by Barrett Outdoor Living. He even sold us bracket kits that we don't need as they are for Veranda fence and the Barrett does not require them! I called the store and went thru this whole thing and was told by someone in the lumber department that they had the correct posts and to come in and they would exchange them. Needless to say, we got there and found that they did not have them, they are now on order and my installer tells me today that he will not be able to do the job as the temps have dropped too far and he can't put posts in. Now I am stuck with a pallet of fencing, posts that are still on order and a job that can't be done! Calling the store did absolutely nothing, nor did going there, as they say that they can't help the order was put in incorrectly at this point and the install will probably just have to wait until next year. This is probably the worst service I have ever gotten from a "BigBox" store such as Home Depot.

Desired outcome: I would like to see some compensation for the time and effort that we have put into this as well as the inconvenience of having to move the materials that we have here.

Home Depot Customer pick up

On November 11, 2022 at 12:30 pm I was at the home depot at 1013 Maple Avenue in the city of Milton Ontario. I purchased 2 items, article [protected] and [protected] for a total of $308.49 and successfully paid by debit card. The cashier assisting me at the time was pleasant and her name was Iris. I was given a receipt. I asked the items to be held at the service desk until they could be picked up later on in the day as I could not transport them at the time. I provided a name and contact phone number. I left the store without any issues.

Later on, on the same day, the store contacted me and advised they were cancelling the order without just cause, other than they did not have "enough information".

At the time of purchase, I provided them with my name, phone number, and successfully paid for the merchandise.

Upon contacting the store and dealing with customer service they were not willing to explain the reasoning for cancelling the order, other than the did not have enough information. I asked to speak with the manager, and they said they were unavailable and hung up on me.

I contacted home depot main line customer services desk and spoke with Kevin, and generated ticket number 4830520 with regards to mistreatment received by the Milton store.

At the time of this complaint, the Milton home depot has cancelled my order, and has not refunded me my money. If this matter is not resolved within an appropriate time, I will be contacting the local police department.

Home Depot Customers services

11/10/2022 I went into homedepot to exchange my propane cylinder for a full one. The employee to an unusually long time to respond finally he brings my tank which we then switched baskets I proceeded to check out but when I go to my car to unload I noticed that the cylinder was empty, the store was already closing but I got help very quickly by a very nice young man from the returns desk, he took care of it but it took again an unusually long time. Finally as I started to unload my propane tank into my vehicle I noticed it felt a bit light but wasnt sure. When I got home I had yet another problem with this cylinder not delivering. I am very upset because I feel discriminated. This is very inconvenient because in order to get propane at this particular store you have to go to a cashier and wait for an employee to bring one to the front of the store, all other stores are not this way, now I have to go back and waste my time and gas money to go back to the store and miss time from work, we use propane to keep warm during the winter seasons. I am very dissatisfied with the way that this store treats customers because I have had many issues prior to this one. I wonder what took so long and if there was something more to it than just common human error because there is no way that this employee had no onowledge of the cylinder being empty when he put it in the basket. I feel it was done in a malicious manner.

Home Depot Mattress order wp48777138

I've called your customer service team directly twice after chatting on your delivery status from my phone 3 times.

I can't express more how unhappy and disappointed I am with the service and delivery of my mattress.

Order Number: WP48777138

Timeline:

• I ordered this Mattress on Oct 18th.

• It took until November 8th to get this order scheduled for delivery.

• I was informed I'd get 30 minute notice of delivery.. I got 15 minutes notice...

• The delivery showed up at my house when my wife was in the shower and couldn't get to the door fast enough.

• The driver left and couldn't be reached

• I contacted the 'chat' for the service delivery

• I was told the mattress needed to get back to the warehouse until it could be rescheduled.

• I waited two days to try to contact them back again.

• Still no information on my delivery as of Nov 10th..

• Order tracking on Nov 11th stated delivery was to happen on Nov 10th.. Still no contact from Home Depot!

• I called the 800 customer support number and ultimately the agent put me on hold for 10 minutes

• When the agent came back on, it was stated they had delivery on the other line trying to speak to them.

• Waited longer until the agent hung up on me!

• It seemed they called me back when I was on another business call while at work.

• I called the 800 customer support back

• The again put me on hold

• Customer support came back on the line stating my order can't be found and a refund was issued!

• I asked them to refund and repurchase it

* I was informed they can only refund and I needed to go through the whole purchase and delivery process all over

• I will not be purchasing this or another delivery product from Home Depot!

I can not express my anger and disappointment more that what should have been a simple redelivery turned in my problem and hassle for me without any support from Home Depot!

Home Depot Portable dishwasher

Purchased portable dishwasher 09/14/22 it was delivered 09/1922 I did not use it first several days I had to go to hospital when I put the dishes in followed the instructions and it never started so I called the repair so they could tell me I told the girl I see three 888 she said that should not be so she told me to push start but it did come on it would not start she said pull the plug out of the wall and it start so I had no reason to put it on when I decided to wash my crystal I set the settings and push the start button and it never started I called ge repair and they sent a repair man and he said the stared on the mother board was no good I havent had two months and used once so the clerks want to repair a two old dishwasher and I want them to exchane this defective product for a new one if it has to be repaird and a new mother broad why cant I have a exchane it was no good when they delivered it if it need a complete new partto makeit wokr its no good not even two months and used once and did not clean dishes.

Home Depot Extended warranty asurion purchased 12/2020 with lg 7305 washer

I had to call Asurion September 29, 2022 to report an issue with my washer purchased December 2021. Based on my description of issue they ordered a part. The first tech that came out was so rude, would not listen to what was going on. He rescheduled appointment and ordered another part. The second tech came and installed the two parts but did not run a test on the machine. So I had to call Asurion when I finally ran a wash cycle to tell them it still doesn't work. Another appointment and another part. Same tech comes back said it can't be that part. He thinks it is the control board. Another appointment another part another tech. Still doesn't work. Another appointment scheduled and decided to replace the part that he didn't think it was. Still doesn't work. So ordered another part and another appointment scheduled. Different tech comes to replace this part. With me so far? 6 people and 5 parts. Still doesn't work as of November 8th.

So another appointment is now scheduled in 7 days and two more parts are ordered for that. So that will be 7 parts and 7 tech visits. Over a month without a washer. This is the worst plan ever and obviously HD may have figured that out because they no longer use Asurion. But I am still stuck with them until 2025, that is, if my washer ever does work. Fix it Fast Guarantee? Haven't seen the $50 yet. LOL. I already feel like this LG 7305 is a sour lemon. They have practically rebuilt this washer with all the parts and it still doesn't work. I am so upset about this I may no longer do business with HD for appliances. This has been a horrible experience and it isn't over yet. Been to the laundromat 4-5 times already to wash clothes and come home to dry them.

Desired outcome: After this 7th scheduled appointment/repair, if the washer isn't fixed, I would like a buy out so I can purchase a washer.
