Home Depot

I purchased a washer, dryer, and stove during a holiday special this year. Unfortunately due to the past couple of years construction back logs and delays it was not opened until ready to install. Upon opening found that the washer was badly damaged even though there was no damage to the outside of box it was in. Obviously damaged before packaging. Went to home depot yesterday after my findings of damage only to be told that we had 48hrs from date of delivery to report any damage. They stated that it was my problem and no way or want to resolve issue. I was not told this when purchased or told this by the delivery guy that delivered from home depot. This is ridiculous as I have purchased every thing from home depot for this complete apartment build from the studs to the appliances all this year. This is a very disappointing outcome and I am definitely considering not using home depot for anything any more period. I am in the construction business for over 35 years and have a lot of friends and clients that I will make sure they don't use home depot ever again as well.
