Had the company seal my and insulate my attic. Did a great job at a great price. They were really professional and got the job done quick. My house feels warmer already. The guys who came were super nice and cleaned up everything after they were done. I'm really happy with the service I got from Barrier Insulation & Energy LLC. Highly recommend them if you need insulation work done.

I had Barrier Insulation & Energy LLC come over to inspect my home and provide a quote. They gave me a quote based on the square footage of my home, assuming there was no insulation at all, more or less. They mentioned that I needed 4-8 inches of insulation in certain areas. The quote they provided was $2500. The square footage is *** for R-20. I think it's more reasonable to pay around $4-500 to "top off" the insulation. Accepting their quote would have felt like a rip-off.

On January 10, a homeowner hired Barrier Insulation as a general contractor to do work on his Property. They were supposed to remove the old insulation and put in new sprayed foam insulation. But while they were working, one of Barrier Insulation's employees accidentally broke a water line on a fire sprinkler head, which caused damage to the master bathroom and bedroom/office in the Residence. Barrier Insulation then hired CB Remodeling to fix the water damage caused by their mistake. CB Remodeling did the repairs according to the rules and on time. Nobody had any complaints about the work or how long it took. But Barrier Insulation or their insurance company (Nationwide) still hasn't paid CB Remodeling for the work they did. The homeowner is now asking CB Remodeling to accept a $15,000 loss for a job that was Barrier Insulation's fault. CB Remodeling had to come quickly in an emergency situation after hours and paid for everything themselves, even though it was Barrier Insulation's mistake. And now they want CB Remodeling to lose $15,000 because of it. I would advise against doing business with Barrier Insulation!
