I had a windows & sliding door installed by HD contractors in 2021. After numerous problems, installment dates changes, wrong windows ordered and returned for replacement (causing delays for months) and now the door installment that resulted in stress fractures on my door frame (that was intact prior to installation) - the response by HD has been awful.

I have been transferred from person to person. It took weeks for someone to send a representative to view the problems. I was assured a quick response but did not hear back until, once again I chased the installation specialist down for a response. I was told that this stress fracture is not covered and that these issues should have been expected and that HD will not cover because it is too costly to repair the fracture to the sliding door incasement. The contract does not address anything like this happening, I have lived at this home for over 10 years and have never had an issue. I cannot believe this is HD's response, this has not been my experience in the past. I have asked for some proof and again have had no response.
