Listen up customers that are in the market for a web site. DON'T USE HIT WEB DESIGN! they are by far the worst company I have come across. They are the first site that will pop up in Google search for web design so don't be fooled. I handed over $300.00 dollars to have them create a website for me. One month later I still didn't have even a writer assigned to my account. After many calls to the company to have them put someone on my job, they hire a free lance writer that I don't hear from for 3 weeks only to receive a copy of text that that my 11 years daughter could have done a better job with and the writer tries to Re-name my Company because he doesn't like the name I have used for years... At this point I have been waiting almost 2 months for them to create my site, that they promised would only take 2 weeks. The best is yet to come. I call the customer service department and request a full refund on Oct.5th, only to get a e-mail that states that they are "very busy processing refunds." Nice, I guess I'm not the only that has had a problem with Hit web design. Almost daily I send emails to the customer service Manger and the higher up's with no response. If I do hear something it usually sounds like this. "We are working on it and it could take a few weeks." 90% of emails and phone calls are flatly ignored. Today is Dec.1st. and guess what? STILL DON"T HAVE MY REFUND. Do not hire this company. Learn from my miserable experience and run for the hills. I'm will be filling a complaint in the state that they do business in!

Intrigued by these negative comments about this company, I checked out their web site—it is awful!

As a graphic designer, my general rule of thumb is to only consider purchasing services/products from sites that have a professional looking, easy-to-navigate web site. HIT Web Design has a cheap self-made logo, an amateur layout & design, and only 6 pieces in their portfolio! Sorry peeps, but you have been taken to the cleaners.

Another point, notice the logo beside the lead logo that says "formerly ...". That could be an indication that the company was operating under a different name and ended up have money problems and/or BBB complains.
But count your blessings! Professionally designed web sites (from professionals) start at $3000.

I am sorry that all of this is happening to you all...this company makes it harder for us Smaller Web Design firms out here that do offer a better way of life in terms of web design, without all the corporate mumbo jumbo. I offer the same quality service without all the BS and crap to screw you over, like, the only thing you need to have is a domain name, if you don't have that we can help there too, but web designs, we do that, ecommerce, we do that too, and well, you get to talk to someone who cares and will listen,

Well SolarSpecialist, I hope you get your money back. I really do. Please let us know if you do get a refund, and if the Utah Attorney General's Office does anything. Normally you need a police report to go with it, so make sure you contact the Utah County police department to report the theft of your money.

also contact http://isowebworks.com/ at [protected] and ask them for your money back too since, they are the ones who took it, and are now profiting from it.

I had a very similar problem. They took $500 and never did a thing. After calling/emailing many times I decided to ask for a refund. They didn't have a problem with it and after I never received the refund a few days later I called back. Then they gave me some line about taking a couple weeks to receive a refund because my account has to go through auditing. 3 weeks later no one answers the phone. Contacted my bank and the Utah State Attorney's office.

Well we need to work together, suing Hit Web Design clearly won't be fruitful, since the owners and officers raided all it's assets.

What we need to do is sue, the owners and officers personally, for the pain and suffering they personally inflicted.

Please remember if people are asking for information for you to email, ask them to message you and send you the contact information for the Law Firm they represent, and away for you to contact them.

Heritage Web Solutions/ Hit Web Design/ ISO Webworks fights dirty, and they will try to sue anyone they can get a hold of.

It would be one thing if HIT ran their company honestly and diligently. I WORKED there for about 2 years (on and off) I saw with my own eyes and ears of the depection! All hit cared about was getting money, then they threw the customer into the 'system' and when there was a problem the managers always blamed the customer. You and I know that when the inital salesperson talked the potential client, the client was told anything and everything that needed to be said in order to get the sale. I can't believe some of the things that clients told me that their sales person told them.

HIT painted a rosie picture for all their customers.. Saying how great their site will be, yada yada yada. then BOOM! they were sent over to the over worked account managers. Since the Account managers had so much pressure on them, they really didn't want to call people that they knew they couldn't sell anything to. IF hit just paid their Account Managers a decent salary and didn't pull out the horse whip yelling "GREEN GREEN GREEN" There was soooo much pressure on upselling that it was rediculous. IF you didn't average at least 500-1000 a day, your job was on the line. Not one time did I hear Tanner or any other manager emphasize that helping the customer get thru the process was the number one goal, it was obvious that getting more revenue was the goal, and they didn't care how that happened. I sat next to TimP He lied to almost every person he spoke with. HE told them that their hosting was up when it wasn't. (He actually was calling my clients, and this is how I found out about it.) I would never, ever do that. IF there hosting was due that month, then I would bring it up and give them that option. But to sell hosting to someone that isnt even close (6 months or longer) is rediculous.

This is just one example. I could go on and on. Yes, I made a lot of money at hit. I always thought that I was being honest. but after I saw so many people getting lost and how management didn't care, I really started to get depressed.

The bottom line is that HIT management didn't give a crap about the clients, once they got the money, thats all they cared about. Management would never accept an angry call, we had to deal with them and make up more lies to get the customer off the phone. HIT made me a much worse person that I am/was. They didn't put a gun to my head but with my employment on the line, they might as well have..

What they did was criminal, plain and simple. If they don't deserve to go to jail then I don't know who does. I will attend every day of their trial when It begins (I have faith that this will happen)...

But, we need everyone to make a complaint to the Utah County Attorneys office... IF nothing happens to the owners, i will be sick...

HAve you read your own posts? Do you realize that u have placed blame on employees and honest workers, then point the finger at Corporate America? Um, No one is BREEDING anger. We the people Are Angry, not because of what Corporate America did to us, we are Angry because of what HIT Web Design did to us. You make no sense to address people of their "LUCK" for landing a job. We are trained and capable people who should be valued as employees and not taken for granted. Job security should lie with the companies intent on serving its patrons appropriately and in good standing. Because the Company scammed and lied, WE THE PEOPLE were screwed. I shouldnt have to worry about my employer closing its doors, especially if I had no prior warning. What? HIT Web didnt know they were closing? Bull!

Take your we the people speech over to the " I screwed people with my company and am now paying for it" Forum, its an insult to be a proud American, a proud parent and a proud employee and hear idiots cusping how we should be lucky. The media is just that, a medium used to convey information wether it positive or negative. They have no preference in the goings on of business' that they may need to "investigate." Next you'll say WE THE PEOPLE caused Hit Web to accrue 17 million in owed Taxes. Or WE THE PEOPLE got greedy asking to be paid for hours worked or completed assignments. Your ridiculous!

When addressing a situation, research then reply with care FOR any idiot can spout WE THE people to take attention away from Delinquent entrepreneurs and place the blame squarely on our white/blue collar colleagues. If you werent there dont comment at all! Spread anger? We have a rite to be angry, we have been unjustly robbed, our families forced to eat soup and bread, our bills unpaid, and now WE THE PEOPLE raise our voices in anger and shake our fists at the company that FORCED us to respond in vicious tones. So that they learn like a punished child, the repercussion of DOING WRONG. WE THE PEOPLE, THE HONEST HARD WORKING PEOPLE rest our case, whose side are u on, anyone waving a check ? Coporate America 'sucks' what happened to people who lost there jobs or doors closed because the economy sucked... oh yeah moved on because there was NO yes NO internet or complaint boards etc... If my group could write this on the main page of the complaint boards, rip off etc.. or even just get a hold of Google or yahoo etc... to say 'wow" you like breeding anger among Americans by lettling this things happen. All companies start as an idea and grows from there look at Facebook or Google. Were are all the mom and pop stores like groceries, or video etc gone... Corporate America bought them out, because we the people are greedy, look at the economy in the financial world, there is a lot of people still out of work or working for minimum wage because of the Grand Central, Fred Meyer to Smiths, then you have America First Title who sold to First American Title, or the Zions First National Bank merger to First Security Bank, wow how many people lost retirement, 401k, jobs had lost everything. If people look at the picture as whole WE the people are greedy! Corporate buy outs, why did the fibernet company not buy or do a corporpate take over if they knew this company was in such diar straights and owe them money (can not recall the amount), however corporate take overs happen all the time, Mom and pop stores are having a struggle because of corporate America for we the people contribute to them on a daily basis for groceries, hardware, cars, etc..
This day and age is about trying to keep a job, even a temp job, for the market sucks! People wake up when you get a job feel lucky for at any moment you can loose it. We that have created this is because we are tired of ksl and the other media, for it is all about ratings and who can get it out there the fastest, back in the good old days with Walter Cronike news was news not about bashing and hurting people for ratings, and people cared about people and they moved on with there lifes when life got tough.
What has happened to MANKIND, ask yourself how you can put a degrading post without thinking "what if this was me or my family they are talking about". Google and Yahoo and the media and MANKIND need to stop breeding anger.

Agreed, why scam customers for a short term turn around, instead of taking care of customers for long term commitment and company benefit, everyone would win. While I was there, i watched them quietly call groups of people into a room to fire them while managers ran around like cowards with cardboard boxes cleaning off desks of those just terminated. Its as bout 30% of the staff, then with adding that workload onto us, they decreased our pay by 35% effective immediate. So working for less and handling more accounts! I promise you all (consumers) that we employees were just as mistreated and kept in the dark, threatened to lie and procrastinate, find ways to charge more, and as soon as the clients said yes to the site design, you were done. It was the worse experience in employment!

Interesting development, look at this blog thread on complaints board today, The registered address shows up in Eagle Mountain and I can swear the red truck outside looks just like David Aiken's (HIT CEO), which is a resident of Eagle Mountain, see I am a former designer, I left a while before all this, but interesting resemblance, I may be wrong. WOW! I don't understand how they are getting away with this. This is insane. I can't even log into my site that was never completed. And, not to mention, hit web drained my checking account without my authorization. What do we need to do to stop this ###?

Heritage Web Solutions/ Hit Web Design closed it doors for good today at 11:00. Currently if you are a Heritage Web Solutions customer you can only access your account by contacting the server company Fiber Net http://www.fiber.net/content/heritage-and-hit-web-design

If you have paid money to Hit Web Design/ Heritage Web Solutions I suggest you do a Charge back on your Credit Card immediately and see if you can get anything back.

Today officially makes 14 Weeks for me with no refund! I have never done business with a company that has terrible ethics at HIT. Please no one waste your time with this company! I'm filling a complaint today and talking to my lawyer. I gave them $1100 and they created a horrible logo and charged me $350. My refund is only $650 for maybe a 1hr worth of work!
