My boyfriend and I have been going to the particular H and R Block for about 3 years. On this particular time, my boyfriend had recieved his W-2's before me and had got his taxes done before me also. When I finally recieved all mine I had made an apointment that day at the same place, but with a different lady. She was very unproffesional the whole time we were there. As she was preparing my taxes I had a odd feeling that she really didn't know what she was doing (I had a w-2 for school that was a little tricky). So, I asked her if she could go back and look at my last year return. The way she did this surprised both me and my boyfriend. First, she pulled up this screen with her login and password (that I could have very easily memorized because she typed it in so many times), then EVERYONES social security number that filed thier taxes at this facility the prior year popped up. My boyfriend immediatly pointed out his social security number. THEN, she left the room to order food and get coffee! IN THE MIDDLE OF MY RETURN! Not only that she was gone for so long that I could have EASILY looked up and stolen hundreds of peoples social and identity. We will deffinatly NEVER go to H & R Block agian.

CPA's are the reason that HR BLOCK thrives as a business.

call 1800hrblock and report this as soon as possible. i work in the call center and this needs to be reported. she should not be working there and if you make a complaint it is a good posibility she will not be there next season. trust me i take these calls all day long and i know that there are concequences for these peoples actions.

ITS THE PEOPLE WHO BEEN THERE WORKING 10-15 YEARS. STOP COMING TO THEM FOUND A CPA OR E.A TO DO THE JOB. H & R BLOCK FULL OF B---L S--T. RUN FAST

I tried to submit my taxes on line through Turbo Tax only to find out someone had already filed a return using my SSN. I told the IRS and now I have to file via mail. I did some more checking (credit reports etc.) and found my 'new' address. I called the IRS back (becasue you need to know your address and SSN to discuss your return) and found that my return was submitted through a H&R Block office 300 miles from where I live, I got the preparers name and all that. Informed the police and filed the paperwork for identity theft with the FTC. Luckily no one had jacked anything else. Wonder what sort of controls the H&R Block(heads) use when folks come in to do taxes and get the instant refund?
