I faxed information around 10/12/18 regarding my 2014 Ohio state tax return as requested and I was told I would hear back in 4-8 weeks and I have heard nothing.
What is the status?

I think there is an error in your program sending the federal social security amount over to the state return as it increased it by around $6800 and the state said I owed more money, which I paid.

The same mistake has occurred on my 2016, 2016, and 2017 return, which I may hear about in the future.

Please reply and let me know where this claim stands?

I tried for the loan and got denied although it said i was getting almost $4000 back. Then it said due to credit issues. I personally looked my credit history up before going and i dont have but 5 minor things on my report. I believe that the loan is given to whom they want to approve. If its a loan against your taxes, and they truly see that you're working, and see an estimate of what you're getting back why not approve you for the loan?Especially if they get their money back right off of the top when you file your taxes. Plus they dont advertise that they run credit checks. I believe that the whole operation is a scam to get people hopes up.?

I am writing to you in regards an issue with my Tax return and H&RBlock.
I have filed my tax return papers on the 5th of February 2018 in one of their offices in Astoria, NY. The lady that I pay to file my tax returns is Kamini Shah.
A few months later I manage to receive only my Federal tax return and I was trying to find out what us happening with my other tax return - New York State Refund. I started trying to contact Ms. Kamini Shah and after a few attempts I received an e-mail that she is only a part time employee of H&R Block so my case was redirected to Ms. Sonia Chanani by Mr. Dennis Aguirre. She assured me that she will help me to solve this issue. We started corresponding on the 7th of June, today is September 23 and my issue still exists.
Throughout our correspondence, by her request we had to re-file my taxes, which cost me almost 70 dollars because I live outside of USA now. Every month I am paying maintenance fee to keep my US account open so I can receive my tax returns in it. Only than I can close it. This also cost me money. Now, because it's been so long my account has gone below the minimum balance and I am going to be charged fees because of this, and this will also cost me money!
I am trying to contact miss Sonia Chanani and Mr. Dennis Aguirre to ask what is happening with my case and why is it taking so long and unfortunately I do not receive any reply from any of them on my e-mails.
I am going to be extremely grateful if this whole issue get finally solved and I can receive my NY state tax return.
Please, I will be looking forward for your help and assistance.

My wife went to H&R Block here in Elizabethtown Ky. She. had her payment come out her taxes. So the lady at H&R block told my wife she was paid in full. Next thing you no my wife gets a letter from the IRS say she owned them money. And it happen again this yr. She used the same woman. I really think the woman at H&R block pocketed the money she was suppose to send to the IRS. Cause 2 yrs in a rom the IRS hasnt sent letters wanting money. But i found my wifes paper work. So we are about to sue H&R block.

Zero customer assistance following hrb errorsx4 on my 2017 quebec tax return (qtr) had to correct errors myself.
Hrb/k (kirkland) qc (franchised office), fees of $688.76 for my 2017 fed&qc tax returns; even paid xtra for the tranquilite d'esprit ($25). I am a 6 year customer [protected]; total fees paid ~ $6000). all satisfactory years except 2017. the hrb/k office is opened only 3 days a week/summer.
Events rcvd my 2017 quebec (qc) assesment #1 (2018 july 16); must pay additional tax of $720.84 (deadline aug 02. email/phone/request assistance to hrb/kirkland, shahid, nader (tax professional). acknowled my request & info. then all I get is nothing; not answering phone calls,.. emails, etc.
call revenu qc & am informed about 4xerrors made by hrb/k. informed/email hrb/k. I visit (2018 aug 01) hrb/k & talk to s. shahid; informe's me that hrb will pay for errors. time goes on & still no nothing done about hrb errors.
2xphone calls to hrb canada, to register complaints to [protected] case #s provided; 341-911; 343-063/escalation). hrb/k n. shahid (2018 aug 20) informs that he will proceed with case with revenu qc;
time goes on & still nothing done by hrb/k. I snailmail (no options) my own correction request to revenu qc.
I snailmail (again no option) (2018 sep 13) my complaint to hrb canada calgary, ab. got zero ack/response from calgary, ab. payette c. (monreal, qc, canada)

I have been absolutely disgusted with the customer service of Lee green Co-operative Foods, address: 25-31 Burnt Ash Hill, Lee, London, SE12 9HT
2 Employees I am very disappointed with, they didn't help me at the time of need, i wanted a refund and they did not assist me. They walked away into the back store and didn't come out, This mustn't carry on, it should be dealt with, the way they treated me was disgusting. The customer service there is not good at all, Rude and no respect at all, thank you.

This particular tax preparer . Has done my taxes, . Then when i sent her friends of mine, she talks about my finances too them in general public! and then continues too slam her clients, and makes derogatory comments about " how do they survive on their small income" i dont get it..
Isnt their a rule, between the tax preparer with their clients., about disclosing private information about their finances.?
this particular woman needs too be fired! i spoke too an attorney. And yes their is a disclosure law. They cannot talk about our jobs nor income too the general public..

I am an H&R Block customer and just sent my sister to the Summer Street, Stamford, CT office for this service. She has earnings of $12, 500 from her deadbeat husband and needs to file a return. I was told that she could file a 1040 EZ for free with H&R Block per the IRS site. The agent said she needed to fill out the long form, she was not declaring any other income so not necessary. NEED help with this. I will be happy to provide any additional information needed.

I H and R Block efiled for 2017 and mistakenly put 1099 income in W2 spot. I called the beville rd office in daytona and was quoted $99 - $149 to file a 1040x amendment. I went to a closer office in palm coast Fl and was told $300+. Then I noticed in my 2016 taxes I filed in the bunnell Fl office my supplies were put under car repair. It costs $450 for a fairly simple return and they make mistakes. The fees are exorbitant and two extremely different quotes for the 1040x.

After 12+ years of trusting this company with my money and 2 online FRAUD situations I am done. It took 4 calls to get the affidavit sent to me as the reps were sending it to the wrong email address. No attention to detail. Additionally, I write a stand alone statement and sent in lieu of the document requested, detailing that the transactions made were not authorized by me and clearly fraud since for example 3 were made within the same minute. My card was not lost or stolen, it has been on my person.
However, I also can't be in California, LA and New York at the same time ordering Grubhub. I'll spare you the details, but this company denied my Fraud claim and told me to wait 10 days to find out why via mail. What in the hell? I am at a new payroll cycle and it took you over 10 days to not even speak to me about the investigation, but to do a half butt investigation and tell me via an automated system that my claim was denied and basically eat this 600 bucks that we allowed to be dripped from your account over 11 days. This company has no customer focus and does not care about preventing fraud or fighting against it. This place scammed me out of my hard earned money and didn't fight for me at all. Rep communication and empathy was poor. There was no transparency, direct line of site to what was going on in their research, no follow through, no communication and no action. I am left with 812 different case numbers my money is in limbo. They wont play with my time or money, 600 bucks in not a small amount of cash and I will go legal on them as a matter of principal. I jumped through all of their process hoops, waited for un-received calls, wrote statements of innocence and signed affidavits that were useless! Stay far away from this place, its just a hustle to scam you out of your money. Who knows it might of been an inside job. I don't trust them with my funds, payroll or tax, they don't do good detailed logical research. Proceed with caution, they don't do good business

Tax preparer, Paul Wechgelaer out of Sparta, NJ put the wrong social security number for my one daughter and now I am getting $600 less on my refund. Have called and complained about this multiple times and still haven't received my money back. The window has a sign that states that if you are not satisfied with our service money back guarantee but this is obviously false information. I still haven't received anything about my state tax return yet and it still hasn't been processed yet. Will never use H&R Block again.

Back in 2016 I went to see a H& R Tax person here in Wichita, Ks.
I didn't feel afterward that my Taxes was done right, so after setting up a payment agreement with the IRS so i would not get in trouble with them. I started saving for my Taxes to be redone. Come to find out the H&R Tax person done my Taxes wrong and I have been paying and receiving pentylies not due to me.
I am requesting a refund for the taxes that your Rep so called did.

I purchased a birth certificate with Hawaii records back in Feb 2018 never received the item so I called H & R block to dispute charges.hawaii stated in only take a couple weeks when I didn't get it I disputed charges.custer service never tells you the whole dispute cycle.how long it takes for this all to go through there rude and I get different answers from each person.i was told yesterday it would go my acct.if it didn't call back today so I did.now I'm told I have to wait an additional three to five days.this is not good business.im very pist off and I have been with these people for years.well I no longer will be a member of H& R block and if you want to lose alot of money then go ahead use H&R block.there fees are out rageous they take your whole state taxes without telling you.t here very rude and half of the customer service I dealt with are not very informative.i get different response from different clerks.they haven't heard anything from vital records and I still have to wait.rediculous.i been with you over twenty years.good bye H & R block.

Houston, Tx 77087.Who my husbsnd & I went for advice on fililng forms to get a hardship loan from his 401K from his employer.She spoke little english and didn't know much about this matter and was asking another H&R Block agent .We were then charged $25 dollars for what? I asked & she said that is the fee to give tax advice.We have been filing our taxes with H&R Block 10918 Fuqua Houston TX 77089 for over 18yrs and being loyal customers .I do not understand the $25fee. I am very upset.

I filed my taxes for the first time online on 4/11 through HR Block. I have reached out to my "tax Professional" three times since and have yet to have any type of response. I only know her name and phone number provided on the profile. Lisa Card [protected]. I don't know what my next steps are or what to do next. she has not responded to emails through the site or phone messages. How is that professional? I'm still not sure what I am supposed to do! El Cerrito CA. Joseph Robinson office manager. Steven Min EA. On Mon April 16 met (appointment) EA for one purpose to complete trust return. EA was not able to execute, frustrated we agreed to extension. EA was not able to comfirm form was received by IRS. Called me at 5pm to say form was not rec'd. I paid 104.50 for service, which was not completed. My family is requesting price accommodation due to incomplete service. I seek refund of 50%, $52.25. My phone number [protected].

I checked my banking account today and found that I was charged $31.70, then credited $31.70, then charged another $10.55. First of all I did not purchase any of your software online. I purchased the H&R Tax Software from Walmart back in January 2018, paid for at Walmart . I e-filed with the software, not with any online purchase. Why am I being charged and furthermore why do you have my banking account number when I purchased the software from a store not online?

Funny thing is, I called the [protected] number listed on my bank account (see attached) and after a 35 minute wait, I was told that you had an account on me, for which I never registered the product. Then I asked if you had my bank account information on file and I was told no. So how did I have a registered account and how did you charge my bank account?

I will now have to change my banking account and debit card, because of this. I want an explanation as to how you have my personal information and was able to charge my banking account. I will be reporting this to the Better Business Bureau if I do not see a resolution to this issue. Also your staff at the Tier 2 level was rude and obnoxious! I wish I had wrote down his name. Basically he told me that if I didn't like your products then return it to Walmart, negating the fact that your company is the one charging my account and I do not know how you have my personal information.

This year I went to H & R block. I met Sashi Sathanayagam a tax rep at 1425 forest ave, S.I, NY. To start off she was asking a million questions and then says I need my birth certificate, social, proof of address. I don't have all those documents on me so I cancel. A few days later I go to another H and R block. As the other rep was looking into my taxes shes say "you filed already with TurboTax" I say no. Come to find out Miss Sathanayagam put that I filed already with turbo tax..big lie. She had my wrong address (someone else would've had my state refund), wrong cell number and probably the worse is she decreased my annual wages by almost $3000! Who gave her the authority to amend my annual wages? And falsely all my information? The manager at the other H & R block had to override her mistakes. I could've been in big trouble with the IRS because she choose to lie.

Filed my return electronically through H&R Block, and was given a Direct Deposit date of 2/22. On 2/22 the money was not deposited to my Wells Fargo checking account. I called H&R Block they said to give it an additional 3-5 business days to be deposited to a third party bank. Okay, I wait and I call after 5 business days and 4 people later I find out my refund was sent to a completely different routing number and account number. Not even close to mine! I had to open a claim with H&R Block, after 7 days waiting they tell me they can't help me further because it's not their responsibility... they give me the routing number and account number and I had to contact the bank it was deposited too myself. Thankgod was rejected and sent back to the Irs. I call the IRS they say a mailed check will be sent 5-7 weeks. Cool I wait 7 weeks still nothing, I contact the IRS again, the money was sent back to H&R Block Corp. for them to take out their fees. Wow! I submitted a check replacement form a week ago and put it on their Emerald card because it only takes 1-2 business days. It is now business day 5... never file with H&R Block! This is a nightmare. My 5 thousand dollars doesn't mean anything to anyone I speak too. Half of them I can't even understand because they have such heavy accents. Worst company ever!

Was using an H&R Block disc downloaded to my computer to pay my taxes and someone else's but could not get state return to download, ended up paying for it 3 times. Called the 888 number for help finding out why it would not download. The person I talked to WOULD NOT TRANSFER ME, although she told me she could NOT help me, unless I GAVE HER MY DATE OF BIRTH AND LAST 4 OF MY SOCIAL, which had nothing to do with what I needed. I refused to give her this information and she refused to transfer me - OVER and OVER and OVER. For 30 minutes she wasted my time and hers telling me she could not transfer me without that information. She finally transferred me and I held another 15 minutes waiting for someone to come on the line. During this 15 minutes, my husband and I tried 1 last time (the 3rd) to download the state program and it worked. Once the person came on the line I told her we had gotten it to download and I'd just call my credit card company to get the refund if I was charged 3 times (of course I was, it's H & R BLOCK) and I asked to be put into the survey about my experience and she wouldn't do it until I let her credit the 2 additional times I had been charged for a program that downloaded 1 TIME ONLY. So I let her because Dear God, I just wanted off the phone with these people. This took another 15 minutes for her to credit the overcharges. I then asked again to be put into the survey and I held another 15 minutes. Never did get into that survey, finally hung up because I had other things to do. Worst Custer service EVER. These people should NOT be answering phones, I'd say they should not be helping customers but since they don't do that anyway that's not an issue. With both people I talked to today (who sounded exactly like the same person) there was SO MUCH background noise and laughing in the background I could barely even hear them.
