November 10, 2025, I paid for a Greyhound bus from Stamford CT to Charlotte NC and then got switched to a generic non-Greyhound service. Device charger outlets did not work, overhead lighting did not work, and bathroom was stinky. Bathroom was as if they do not clean out the waste receptacle as often as they should. At my first pickup location, they no showed. Terms of Service states brokers may change carriers. I did not purchase my tickets through a broker. I purchased directly from Greyhound. Therefore, they can only put me on a Greyhound bus and cannot switch me to another service.
Claimed loss: Paid 238 round trip. Half of the buses to which I had to transfer were not Greyhound. Refund demand is $130.00.
Desired outcome: half of my money refunded.
