I would like to speak with someone. At grapevine location stay, 6/24-26 when we arrived to our room number 2014 there was a low dim light in bathroom and we asked someone to come twice to fix issue, even just a lamp in the bathroom. I messaged on GWL app and I asked the front desk, when finally someone came around 8 pm my son was in the bathroom and the person left and said person never came back even after I asked again for help on turning the light on and it was never fixed. I was upset for my family to shower both days in very low light, it was a safety issue for sure.
Secondly I asked for our room to be cleaned/tidy up on morning of day 2 because there wasn't a clean room to begin with, there was blond hair on the floor and didn't look tidy but understandable, maybe housekeeping was busy but still wanted to ask. My messages on app weren't listened to. Its okay if beds can't be made but I could of been told not just ignored waiting. I messaged on app and text, I asked multiple times. Upsetting I've stayed 2 other times in Webster location and never had issues with room.
I also asked in app for housekeeping to bring towels in morning , I even said urgent and it took all day for that and when my fmily walked into room they said the hand towels bundle were just on the floor! so they had to pick them up, so rude. This night I also asked for shampoo since the bottle container in room shower was empty! Never had we had issue after issue, I called the housekeeper and eventually we got a new bottle but it took 20 mins.
On check out day we swam, after the showers in Waterpark for women there was 3 but 1 was out of order with no sign by the way ! I saw families in line waiting just like us. We waited to shower since we had a five hour drive home, but truly the lack of showers only 2 and there being no soap in the dispenser was a very unfortunate experience to add to the already bad room experience in room 2014.
Honestly was not a good experience, the Waterpark was great but i feel so frustrated with the stay. We stayed in Dec 2024 and March 2025 in Webster and it was fantastic. Nothing compared to this stay, i really don't feel happy with out stay and i spoke with staff as well. My son wanted to go again for his birthday but we had such a bad experience with recent stay.
Desired outcome: Compensation, discount refund. Honestly was such a disappointment, never been so bad. One thing after the other.
