Horrible staff & security
It’s funny how things can change at the drop of a hat, my family & I were just there until I was approached by 2 security guards claiming I was standing to close to a lifeguard, I have no idea what occurred, I was busy watching my 3 year old & 6 year old in the little kiddie pool, I asked for a mgr, & they were completely useless, absolutely zero customer service, They’re falsely accusing me of something I did not do let alone realize what they’re talking about I was with my kids & my wife then they change their story saying I threatened someone & I was unruly & cut off from the bar, none of which occurred & which is completely absurd, my wife & kids were in tears, after getting nowhere w/mgmt I called the police myself said they can’t do anything so I packed up & left to the hotel down the street, I will be seeking council on this matter, im sure a lawsuit & charges for slander, defamation of character & false accusations will be in their future

Grand mound management
My family and I rented a blue couch in front of the wave pool for April 7, 2022. I made this reservation back in February and was very specific that I wanted to be in front of the wave pool. I was assured that I would be, I was also told that there were some upgrades made to the blue couch area recently. But I was not told that I was on the upper level by the bar, not by the wave pool as I specified. I have very young children and using the stairs constantly was going to be difficult. I asked to speak to the manager about this when I found out we were placed on the upper deck by the bar instead of down by the wave pool as I was assured on the phone. I had called the grand mound resort line directly to make this reservation. I have done this many times over the past three years, and I’ve never had a problem. The manager told me I could not ask for a specific location while booking, the now cabana, although I have always been able to book specific locations in the past. I was then told I’m already receiving a discount by paying $100 instead of $400, something I didn’t appreciate being told since I didn’t know the prices were going up when I initially booked anyway. I was told nothing could be done about it, I then asked if they could throw in a free Maggi quest or breakfast or something since I was clearly misled/lied to and my family spent a lot of money for this trip. The manager (A woman with long brown hair), very snarkyly told me that there was nothing to be offered to me and I could just cancel the cabana if I felt like it. Desired outcome: I absolutely love taking my family to great Wolf Lodge as we have done multiple times over the last three years. I would very much appreciate some kind of coupon or voucher for us to use during our next booking.
Switched our room / kids disappointed, incorrect charge
We got to the lodge over an hour early to do the dry activities until the room was ready but were told it was ready already. 2 workers working in LaGrange and the line is to the door! You’d think with it being Spring Break, they would be better prepared. Ridiculous there were no more workers available!

We had book a room for march
20 to 21 that says the bunk bed comes with a day bed.there was 6 adults and 6 kids but when we got to the room to do the bed arrangement there was no day bed in sight Which was in the room description. also all night the room clock keeps going off every 30 minutes from 11 pm to 9 am no sleep with 6 freaking kids. What a rip off with opening at 11 am for the pool area and wants you to check out at 11 am or 2 pm if you want to pay extra.

I celebrated my daughter's 13th birthday here and checked out today after being charged two times for my room should have been my first red flag I gave them the benefit of the doubt online errors happen I will get the money back in 7 to 10 buisness days than goodness I have that money in my account to do so! The rate was also wrong I was supposed to get 20% off my stay since I'm a member at the lodge when I checked out it didn't reflect on the price that had to be fixed as well the women I spoke to on the phone about the extra charge assured me something can be added for my daughter's 13th birthday she left a note in my account she also advised me to download the ap to endure its done.when checking in I was told there is nothing they could do for her birthday ( they need to be booked 24hours in advanced ) after being upset and me paying extra and having the Banner put on her door at the end of our stay it was done... all this was whatever . ... this is my largest issue a belligerent drunk women in the arcade shop around 830pm was screaming and cussing at her probably 6 or 7 year old sweet daughter calling her every swear name in the book physically grabbing her telling everyone she wanted to sign over her parental rights and spilling alcohol the young girl was hysterical snot and tears crying having a panic attack crying so hard the mother was out of damn control the staff did NOTHING at all my young children witnessed this my 3 year old was scared I am the type that wanted to protect this child ... it was aweful. I never in my entire adult life seen this type of abuse in public towards a child and around other small children the staff 3 people stood there didn't call security nothing! O asked if they were going to call front desk or anything they assured me they would.. I see the lady the next day walking around with the kids the kids look misrible and when I went to check out I wanted to report her so they could contact authorities or watch cameras make sure these kids are safe and others children don't witness such stuff
.. I waited 20 minutes to speak with a manager one didn't come out. Must not be important ... this is supposed to be a family friendly atmosphere! Highly disappointed u would be better off taking your kids to holiday world or the dells the management didn't care about any safety of others just money

Room hold not refunded back
I have tried to contact the accounting department 4 times at the Traverse City location and have called corporate twice.
Unresponsive to all attempts.
They will rip you off. They claim they have a $200 room hold fee and you will get the money back when you check out.
It has been over 2 weeks and my bank sees nothing pending. Good thing for me I have a lawyer would has delt with the same case with Great Wolf Lodge.
It will end up being a very expensive $200.00 because they can't offer customer service. This complaint will be going far and wide.
Do NOT let them charge you extra money for a room fee.

Poor and Disorganized Billing Process
Upon checkout the charged my account 2 times for the same room. Received 6 phone calls in one day about a "forgotten charge" 24-hrs after we checked out and left the premises. They went ahead and charge my account after we left without my authorization or knowledge. And in trying to explain to them the various charges on my account there was no attempt to understand their errors on their side or try to rectify or compensate the poor billing situation.
Teams are very misinformed and in speaking with different agents you will get different answers. To date still waiting on almost $1000 of credits with no way to speak to someone of authority to clear this up.
Desired outcome: Refunds processed asap (1-2 days) and some type of compensation for the frustration and billing errors on THEIR side (either a credit or a discount on future stays)

Breakfast buffet
I rarely experience things like this but it was enough to report. At approximately 9:55AM on 2/20/22, we were in line for campfire kitchen. The cashier made everyone in line pay and stamped their hands but the only African American family in line was allowed to walk through without paying. Counted and stamped their hands without asking them to pay. Completely ridiculous.

No heat in room
I requested the Wolfe Pup Den were we always stay. they put me in the wolfe den suite on the 6th floor and no heat. I was not informed that there was no rooms available at the wolfe pup den. i would of picked the next up coming date to a room... not enought power to circulate. what a waste of money im so upset. we have no menu for dining but that's besides im so uncomfortable cant shower my toes are cold im worried my grandkids will be sick coming from the pool into our room. they dont have no elec heaters. i voiced my concern over 4 times we get silence nothing as if oh well tuff we don't care.

well by the looks of it Iam correct Great Wolfe Lodge does not care! there are 128 complaints and only 25 were resolved their actions speak for their selves. they talk about protecting us during the covid 19 pandemic pretending we must wear mask if not vaccinated i seen maybe 20 out of 200 wearing a mask should i contact Health Dept CDC i will find out and contact the proper person it's not like we don't have the videos or pictures staffs' nose are exposed only covering there, written by Nettie Nettie

They put us in handicap room without sofa which was on my order

This was our second visit at La Grange, GA location. First time we had a blast but the second time was a horror story. When we arrive and got to the room I noticed that is not the same type of a room as we had last time. Sofa and chest table was missing. I double checked my reservation ant it was on it that the room included 1 sofa. I went downstairs to the front desk and address my concerns that there is no sofa in my room. The Lady checked my reservation and said that the room we are assigned is "accessible" room and that ours probably doesn't have sofa. I've explained to her that my reservation had sofa on it and showed her email with my reservation. Her response was that things like that happen and she can bring us a mattress. I've explained that we wanted that sofa and chest so we could play board games like last time but after that they stopped caring and said there is nothing they can do because everything is booked. Another person came over and said to upgrade us to a room that has extra sofa and chest table but the same lady said we are not getting upgraded and there is nothing they can do. At this point our 2 days great stay tuned into " I can't wait to get home". On top of that I've reached out to Great Wolf Lodge through their email service which I got confirmation of submission on my email that someone will contact me soon. It's been 4 days and nothing. On top of that the room carpet was dirty, there were left over food on the carpet and my daughters blanket was dirty with some paint. Not sure why we were treated like this, probably because my family is foreign and we have accent so they gave us this treatment. This was very sad, horrible and uncomfortable stay and no one from Great Wolf Lodge care about our visit.

Guest service and water park availability
Goodmorning, I attended your park at the Anaheim location on Jan 21-23. At my stay, everything was fine UNTIL My microwave wasn't working, my iron was not heating up. I called twice NO one ever showed up. Okay, that shouldn't be to much but I paid $650 for a room I should at least have those amenties avaliable for myself. Okay so moving on, tenn, I go to the waterpark the MAIN reason I came in celebration of my son's birthday and his main reason of coming was to play basketball in the pool and it was closed ALL weekend. No one told me a reasoning. I went to front desk to speak to someone and all they said was no reason. I speak to a Lifeguard and she was very rude and said just come another weekend and rolled her eyes and left. I had enough so I left. Spent over $650 for NOTHING. My son had been crying all weekend. So much for planning this special getaway 4 months ago to having to give my son the worst birthday. 11 years old and couldn't even have a good birthday because of who knows what reason. I would LOVE to speak to someone regarding this whole situation because this was NOT OK. Under any circumstances.
