Absolutely frustrating 🫠
It's quite possible that Scooterbug is not aware of the complaints or rarely monitors their existence because we find it hard to believe they don't care about their customers. We advise reviewers to be very careful and have a backup plan if their issue isn't addressed. First time user,ever, on any mobility device.The scooter was easy to use,easy to manuever and lasted thru out day.Access on buses were very easy.Stayed comfortable thru out day with no backache at end of day..Basket attached to front enabling me to purchase gifts and carry them safely.All in all a very enjoyable experience. Scooter was used in all Disney theme parks,among large crowds and had no problem with the controls

I was happy initially. The scooter kept alarming at Magic Kingdom. Charged overnight for 12-13 hours, after 20 minutes, it was on RED and chugging.My son called, someone refused to deliver at Park, would only deliver to Resort. We ended up renting one from Disney, leaving Scooterbug charging at front of park. We picked up Scooterbug, returned Disney ECV. Got back to Resort, picked up replacement. The next morning, turned in the 3rd one on checkout. Scooterbug told my son he'd be reimbursed for the Disney ECV. That's fine but it's a difficult situation when you have an ECV chugging then dying ,even after charging. People who cannot walk well, like myself, are literally stuck without transportation after spending great deal of money for ECV,Disney and then are isolated while their families go on without them. I'll rent again but not sure it'll be with Scooterbug.. I would think before making that decision.

We have used Scooterbug in Orlando twice. Both time delivery and pickup was extremely easy and the only company I have found that you don't have to sit around and wait for the delivery. Phone help was extremely easy to extend our rental. I would highly recommend them.

Great experience! Scooter was delivered & picked up at our Disney Resorts. Great help/service setting rental up. Battery last a long time. If not for scooter would not have been able to go to parks w/family. Would rent from Scooter-bug again!

At Disney in Orlando and they delivered to my resort. Easy to rent. Easy to operate. Rented for 6 days and needed to return after day 4; no problem and received credit for the last 2 days. Picked it up at my resort. Very friendly customer service! Would use them again.

Straight scam. Website has our hotel available for drop off location but they aren't able to drop off here, so they say, even though 2 other strollers were dropped off yesterday to the same hotel and location for other people. They say they tried to contact me, no missed phone calls and no voice mail. They weren't even going to issue a refund until I asked for it, should be automatic that if you cancel an order you get a refund. Absolutely terrible.

ScooterBug made our Disney trip a breeze! The dimensions and photos online allowed me to make transportation reservations in advance. Thorough and accurate descriptions on the website made reserving a breeze. Secure payment, too! When we arrived at our resort, the EVC was waiting for us, fully charged and completely as expected. Scooter stayed charged, charged quickly overnight, and made getting around Disney Parks easy. Thank you, ScooterBug Orlando for your terrific service!

Next day called and told them to come and get it, it was a waste of my time and money. They only refunded me 1 day. Paid 93.00 for nothing!

Scooterbug I have rented from Scooterbug 2 times previously with no issues, but when I rented over memorial Day weekend 2021 it was a different story

I have rented from Scooterbug 2 times previously with no issues, but when I rented over memorial Day weekend 2021 it was a different story. The scooter would only last about 2 hours on the charge. This was when I was parking it and turning off to stand in line at a ride in WDW. Multiple times I had to push the scooter to a plug to charge it. When I called the company they told me this was normal and all scooters did the same, which I knew was not true. On my third call a knowledgable person told me how to do a reset, which made it work so I only need to charge the scooter every 4 hours. I will not rent from Scooterbug if I have any other company I can get a scooter from. I am even looking into purchasing my own scooter so I do not have this issue again.

Scooterbug I rented a scooter and will say I will never rent from them again

I rented a scooter and will say I will never rent from them again. They have no issue taking your money or modifying your order so they can take more money. But product delivery is awful. Pick up my 2 scooters and they were damaged. One was not charged at all. Because when you sit in it the battery goes to red empty. Was on hold for about 30 min first time and 15 min the second time. Then the lady who picked up the phone said it was valet fault for not charging the scooter. I said no it is Scooterbugs responsibly to delivery a product charged as promised. Then she said we'll you can just charge it. I said no I have one day with it. Then we'll we can deliver you a new one but it will take 5 hours. I said that is not acceptable 5 hours that is outrageous. Then she was like well I guess I can submit a request for a refund. I said no you will refund the one scooter. I said ok we will leave it here.. Begrudgingly they refundedand said someone will pick up the scooter soon. The valet said this is normal for the company and also I am lucky I got through in 30 min. Most customers wait 1 hour plus just to talk to someone. Went to the parks and the second scooter had issues running and the light did not function for night use. I paid for the warranty $5 each for the scooters we'll let's just say they have a lot of use and no love. I would like a full refund. As no resolutions provided but had to be pulled out of them and bad products.

I rented a scooter that did not work for the first two days, and when I got the "new" scooter it would randomly turn off, drive without the key in it and the horn would blare at random times unable to turn off. My receipt also says I purchased a bag holder and cup holder which I had to return so I'm not really sure what's going on with that and would like to know. I'd just like some of my money back especially for the days that I was unable to use the scooter.

Scooterbug Scooter wouldn't charge and company hasn't tried to replace

Scooter wouldn't charge and company hasn't tried to replace. I called at 2:00am on July 30th to advise the Scooterbug company that my scooter not only would not charge but it had also went dead in the middle of the Las Vegas strip and due to location I was stuck out there until my hotel came to get me and I left the scooter outside. The last I spoke with advised that I would hear from someone shortly regarding coming to pick up the dead scooter and to replace it with a charged one. About 30 minutes went by and when I never received a call I called back to see what the turn around time was or if they were just busy. That representative then advised that the dispatch team was closed until 10am. Mind you, when I called originally she never advised of this at all. Had I not called back I would have still been sitting on the strip waiting for a call from the dispatch team. So, I finally make it back to the hotel and wake at 10am to be sure I don't miss a call from dispatch. After about 30 minutes or so I called after not getting a ride home call to inquire about the next steps as I still had another day in a half that I paid to rent the scooter. When I called the rep advised they had no recollection of my prior calls and they don't know what happens after they send in a request to dispatch as it is beyond their control at that point. I then asked to speak to a manager who's name was Bill and he advised that they don't know turn around times, they don't have call back numbers, nothing. I asked for a follow up from him once he sent the information to the dispatch team just so I could be sure that my request was being handled properly, he politely advised that he will not be calling back and that I basically needed to just wait for dispatch to call. I purchased this scooter from my hotel (***) on July 28th using my debit card ending in ***. I am filing this complaint because I have still yet to hear from anyone from the "dispatch team" in order to handle my request.
