Very interesting - I just looked over the weekend - had similar charges. I called them and they were closed over the weekend. So not only did they charge this month - they have been charging my credit card since January. I don't know how I missed it. So I called my credit card company and it's not being charged as revolving which mean monthly someone is entering my information from TLG*GREATFUN. I called them this morning, pushed zero and demanded to speak to a manager. After getting a speal from the woman on the phone about what great offers they can provide to me - BLA BLA - THIS IS A SCAM! Management credited my Visa for the last four months and said I would have to contact Corporate to reverse the other charges. Call them now... Great Fun - [protected] - and their Corporate Fax number is [protected].

Happended to me as well they claimed that i signed up for services when i purchesed tickets on expedia. They begain billing my card for a mounthy charge of 11.99 i called my credit card company and cancled my card then called great fun and they credited me the charges no questions asked. Fraud company they are part of a larger company who is owned by a even bigger one. Attempted to file complaint with BBB but very frustrating because one address was linked to another then to another.

This company is a faxe company, they charged my account $12.99, I never bought anything from this people, and they are a scam.

12/23/09 POS TLG*GREATFN8715304, [protected] CT REFID:169... -12.99

This is the charge that appears on my bank statement showing the charge of $12.99, I have already call my bank and complain about this company, my bank is going to return me the money and start an investigation on this people.
Please if you see charges from this company call your bank or credit card company as soon as possible and report this scam and have them block or have a different credit card with a different number, and I'm pretty sure this company is not a United States base operated company.

I've been totally ripped off by this company, two times. Last year, I ordered some labels from Current Catalog and then all of a sudden I had charges on my account from this Great Fun place. This holiday, I see my checking account is overdrafted by $258 because of this Great Fun place. I ordered on video from Columbia House and I have a $36.99 charge from Great Fun and $245.00 in overdraft fees because this charge was not expected. I called and was told I would get my $36.99 back to me within 7 days.
People, don't shop with Current Catalog or Columbia House.

I just got charged $36.99 today and I need all the money in my account since I am moving to another state tonight. I called my bank. They said it had to actually post to my account before I could dispute it. To report fraud my card has to be closed out. I need my card to move to the new state. If this a scam (as I believe it is) I am concerned about it happening again. I don't know if I want to ever shop online again. It has been awhile since the last time. I haven't used cheaptickets for years. Who else could be "sharing" my card number? Does anyone know?

I've been a victum as well. I was charged 149.99 and when I called for a refund, the rep told me that I was eligable for a 112.00 refund and when asked why she couldn't tell me so she put me in touch with the "supervisor" who immediately told me a full refund would be sent. I asked for proof that I signed up for this and she was going to mail be a copy of the 'check'? not sure what this is but I've cancelled my credit card. SCAMMERS

Yes, I've been getting charged by TLG Shopper for seven months ($8.25) and TLG Great Fun ($14.99) for nine months. They could not tell me what company I had ordered from or what I had ordered. Trail ended with TLG.

I did not sign up with them and this is a scam...my bank will only investigate to get my money back (they say), but what of all the people who are being cheated? Why can't I find out which infomercial I ordered from so that I can know how this all got started? They cover their trails so one cannot really get answers.

There needs to be an investigation of this company NOW.

What a joke. I just discovered the same thing. I was charged $12.99 (apparently they are upping their fees...) I've never heard of "Great Fun". I don't understand how they can get away with this legally. Did priceline have something in their disclaimer? When I call "Great Fun" I'm going to give them a "Great" piece of my mind and demand a full refund. I think it is smart to ask for a reference number for either the phone call and/or the refund.

I'm having the same experience. Never got the stuff they promised but the charges materialized on a charge card. What can be done about this? When I called on the week-end, they are, of course, not available. But I
see that they don't follow through with cancelling even on normal business hours. I can see that a good attorney
would sure have a lot of willing clients. I'd like to sign on as one of them. Linda

I was checking my bank acct this morning and noticed a charge from TLG GREAT FUN for 11.99. Well I googled them immediately and came across this post. I immediately contacted them, yes they are open on the weekend. I demanded to know why i was charged and for what. It seems that I purchased plane tickets through Orbitz in August and somehow I was automatically signed up for some discount program. I'm very meticlous when purchasing online and I dont ever go for the special offers but somehow they got me. The person I spoke to said it was because I purchased something through priceline. Whats strange is that I never ordered tickets through priceline, just Orbitz. I don;t understand how this company is somehow fooling people into signing up for something they never agreed to. I was told that my money would be refunded but i'm not gonna hold my breath. I just will have to contact my bank and alert them that this company is a fraud. Hopefully someone is going after these sleazebags.

I have been charged by GREAT FUN 11.99 monthly for 7 months (April-October). I just called them to cancel the service. I did not require the reimbursement because I did enroll in their service in this April when I bought a air ticket and I even got a membership card. But they never told me that the membership was not free.

I was also surprised to find a charge of 11.99 from GRT-FUN. Luckily I discovered it after only one month of deductions from my bank account. I was told over the phone by the person I spoke to at the number I called [protected]) that I had agreed to become a member when I purchased something through Priceline. I had purchased something online, but the site didn't specify that it was run by Priceline. And I don't recall ever signing up to be billed for a monthly service. I didn't know what the service was. My understanding is that my membership has now been cancelled, but I'll be checking my statements to make sure.

I have been being charged $11.99 every month for over a year now for GREAT FUN! ...yeah i'm sure they are having great fun stealing my money from me every month! I have called and emailed MANY MANY times and they will not cancel it. They say that there was a check box to join when I ordered something online. Does anyone know what we can do to resolve this?

We were charged 149.99 for a supposed membership to "Great Fun" What the hell is that?
My husband accused me of using his card and he wants to cancel the Visa card which you
need this day and age of the internet. So I was very worried. What a SCAM! We the consumer
have to have recourse over these scams.

I called 'Great Fun' and found out when I bought my plane ticket on 'Cheap Tickets.com' that this was when I enrolled for this crap. After being hung up on, transfered, and told there was nothing they could do, I finally spoke to "Bobby" who was very helpful and explained everything to me. I have been charged $11.99 for four months. I got a credit for three months. The crazy thing is I was told when I enrolled (which I didn't) I would have gotten a month for "free" which I did not. They charged me EVERY month. I thought this was an XM Radio charge. I also spoke to my bank; where I used to work, and told them I needed information about these charges. They looked it up in the system and said that each month was charged on different days, that it is "not a reaccuring charge" which means someone is MANUALLY ENTERING IN MY INFORMATION AND CHARGING IT. I have been told to FAX my information to:
Attn: Executive Support
Member # (enter your number here; it's what shows up on your statement)
Cancelation Code (You'll get this from the person who helps you on the phone)
and then fax this information to [protected]

I think if you some how elect to sign up for something online and don't realize that you have done this, that the company should email you telling you that you will be charged a monthly fee for signing up for whatever the company is. This would help everyone stop paying each month for stuff they don't know what it is, it'll also help with overdrafts on the account; which have happened to me once. They will refund your money.

I was charged on my credit card from a company called Great Fun in Connecticut. I stopped the charges and called there company. My information was given to them from Priceline after I had purchased some airline tickets. I did not authorize this charge. It is a total scam. I am encouraging everyone, everywhere to boycott Priceline. We, the people, can make a difference. Tell everyone you know to stop using Priceline.

I'm just going to add my voice here as yet another personal who has been scammed by this company.

I just called my credit card company's fraud department regarding the matter and they said they see this company's name come up an awful lot. The lady was nice and advised me to "not purchase anything online" which is kinda crazy this day and age as well as probably exactly what her employer would like to have her NOT say. I requested that the credit card company notify its customers to look out for TLG charges and she said that was not likely. If there is a lawsuit against TLG, I would sure like to join it.

This is so ridiculous! I just found a charge of $69.99 on a credit card that I have not used in about 4 months! I am furious! I called my credit card company to dispute it because I had no idea what the hell 'TLG Great Fun' was. I then called the number for Great Fun that was on my credit card statement and DEMANDED they cancel this memembership and refund my money instantly! Without any hassle the guy explained how I got signed-up (completely bogus) and then agreed to cancel my membership. NOW, let's wait to see if I actaully get my $69.99 back! VERY IRRITATING!

I also noticed this on my account. Called the bank they told me to call [protected]. I was told that I did a name your own price on priceline.com and that when i entered my account to pay for the room that they were the ones that gave me the deal on it. Told me my money would be on my account in 7 days for all 4 months.

I also got a charge from my checking account. You have to call your bank or your credit card company and they will probably have to reissue you a new card. Also, try calling the company itself. I think these kinds of companies obtain the info from other online sites that we might have gone on and disclosed information ya know.

I met the same problem when i check my bank statement today. I remember I booked air ticket last month via priceline.com, and that may be the reason I got scamed.
Thanks all you guys telling me how to do.
I will call the company to cancel the membership and get my money back; tell my bank to block this ###ing GreatFun; and report this to BBB or FBI http://www.fbi.gov/majcases/fraud/fraudschemes.htm
