We've been subscribing to some of Globe's postpaid plans. I say 'we' because my tita is the one applying and gives us the gadget so we're the ones paying the bills out of our allowances. One time I asked her about how the advance payment is being consumed. She told me she doesn't know because everytime she asks them she gets confused, which btw I think is a tactic they do so u'll feel like an idiot and just go on and pretend u understood.
Now I got my second postpaid plan. About 15 or 16 days after it got activated, I tried checking on my outstanding balance thru *143# in thoughts there would be nothing yet. To my surprise, it said I have 451 balance due on March 2 and my cut off date is every 9th of the month. I was like 9? Why 9 when my account got activated on the 27th? So I contacted them. I wanted them to change my cut off date because I was under the impression that my first bill will be counted 30 days from the date it got activated. But they said it can be done but it will only take effect after 30 days. I said that is unacceptable. So the bill was a pro rate charge for what I have consumed from Jan27-Feb9 oh my gosh! When I asked the agent Edmond about their basis in determining the cut off date, HE PREMATURELY TERMINATED THE CHAT AND SENT ME HIS CLOSING SPIEL.
So I contacted them again. Another stupid thing they do is to ask about a chat ticket number if you have one. I thought that was for ease of checking on the previous chat so u dont have to tell them the issue again from scratch. WhenI did provide for my chat ticket number with Edmond, the previous agent, Olivia, the subsequent agent said she cannot check on it. The EFF! Whatta waste! Same thing, she didnt resolve the issue. She wasnt replying for a few minutes and then the system suddenly said I am being transferred to a BBR agent?! What the F is a BBR agent?! Eventually, no BBR agent available said the system. DON'T THEY KNOW THAT BEFORE A CUSTOMER IS TO BE TRANSFERRED, HE HAS TO BE INFORMED ABOUT IT AND THE REASON WHY SUCH ACTIS NEEDED?! HAVE THEY BEEN TRAINED?!
Wouldn't you feel infuriated when this happens to you?
I was tweeting about this the same time I was talking to their agents. Guess what? 4 agents assisted me and no one of them has been helpful. One agent provided me my bill's breakdown according to them.
Hero of Globe: "Here's the details of your 1st bill: total amount due is 451.15. (breakdown): prorated MSF from Jan27 - Feb9 amounting 402.82 w/o VAT -and advance MSF 999 from Feb10 - Mar9 amounting 891.96 w/o VAT. *plus VAT 155.37 = 1, 450.15 less advance payment 999 = 451.15"
That just got me confused. I tried computing it myself. If you would check on every figure he provided, you will see that the allegedly 155.37 VAT cannot be a 12% VAT to any of em. Did you notice how they even included the advance payment? That is bullcrap. The 451.15 is actually 402.82 (charge for what I have consumed from 1/27-2/9) plus 48.33 (actual 12% VAT). This should have been the equation given to me. But why did they do that? Was it for me to think that my advance payment has really been consumed? LOL. I aint fool. I may not be good in Math but this one's pretty basic. And 891.96 MSF? What happened to 999? Smh.
Nonetheless, I still don't agree to this. I'm still pushing that my first bill should cover Jan 27 until February 26. That is not a big amount if I'm going to tolerate this, they'll just continue doing it. Does anyone of you know if there is any Philippine version of Better Business Bureau (BBB) here in the Philippines? I wish to file a complaint.

I already cancelled my plan with You (GLOBE). false promises made by your sales rep. abt freebies for sending of requirements within the day and QUICK approval of line application. I went through the trouble of getting those requirements done ASAP so I can have my line within the week before my clients leave the country. now youve really impacted on my business!
You even got my office number wrong when I repeated it twice. Called my office at my preferred time to call (personally me) and then called me when im asleep. who the hell calls office at 7am/8am! your agents dont wanna escalate me to a manager! ive called several time and no progress yet whatsoever! the hell with your customer service! stop calling me to bug me with sorry and the line is still in process when it is not! delete my data on your systems!

very slow connection
When I use my prepaid tattoo stick, the connection is very slow or none at all. The signal is good but download speed is 0.00. But when I subscribe to globe's supersurf50 service, the speed suddenly climbs up to as much as 9 mbps. I feel globe is trying to force us prepaid users to continuously subscribe to their supersurf service which is against our will.

repair of defective unit
I returned my defective Iphone5 I got from Globe last August 23, 2013. Today is October 29 and I have not even once received any feedback whatsoever from them. I returned my phone in the business center in GT Tower in Mandaluyong and now they have moved to Taguig. I called up the hotline to follow-up my concern and it was escalated numerous times since according to the CSR that the tech support has not yet provided any feedback onmy def phone. Again, I called up earlier and the CSR told me that I need to contact the branch/business center in Taguig to know the status of my defective phone. Now, I tried looking for the contact number of the said Taguig Bus center and i could not find any (CSR does not even know the contact numbers of their business centers). I called up one branch to ask the contact numbers and they told me that Taguig does not have a landline. They adviced me that I need to go there just so I can follow-up my defective phone. Seriously? I have to go all the way to Taguig just so they can tell me that my phone is still not repaired?

I have a friend who had experience the same thing. The only difference is that her Iphone 5 was returned back to her after 3 months of waiting but still defective.. What a poor customer service! poor service
I applied for a postpaid plan from them (SM Megamall Branch) on June 18, 2013. Sadly, it took them a while to polish everything and got a phone call from them on July 5, 2013 saying that my application was already approved and they would let the said branch call me once my purchase is available for pick up. They couldn't give a turn around time which is imperative on setting a customer's expectation. Made several phone calls for follow up and they kept promising to give me a call w/in the day and I was too stupid to think that they would do that. "Sobrang Paasa". I am someone who is going make business w/ them but it appears that they are not that eager to have a new one. But I want to thank them for making me realize this early that I won't get a satisfactory service I need. By the time they call me, I would gladly cancel the application.

an employee revealed personal information of a certain client to her friend. as far as i am concerned, i know that an employee is not allowed to give any personal information of a client for that matter because it is confidential. what is the legal action regarding an employee who reveals some personal and basic information to someone especially if these information were used against the person?

I made a call regarding GCASH customer service (no option to talk to live agent), but repeatedly I was given incorrect instruction by the agents so I lost my patience and I requested for a supervisor.
I can't remember her name Daphne or Steph, I vented out and told my story, she gave the same instructions which were all tried to no avail, then suddenly she sigh-ed and when I asked her what's that for, she replied ''nothing...'' (in a timid/sleepy tone). Wow, that's very professional. I asked for higher manager due to her attitude and put me on hold for more than 30mins, then the line was ended (dunno if she released it or the connection did.)

delayed delivery of handset - application for recontracting
I applied for recontracting thru Globe Hotline 211 after mu 2-year contract for Globe SuperUnli 599 has already expired. Expiration was Feb 15, 2013. I started applying since Feb 17, but since the handset I am looking for is not yet available, I waited and waited until I got tired of waiting for almost 2months. I chose a different cellphone that was available when I called last April 2. My application was processed that time. The agent advised me that processing time for areas outside metro manila is 5-7 working days. Supposedly, the handset was delivered last April 12. But until now, the handset is not yet delivered. Eight (8) WORKING DAYS had passed. I am calling tye hotline almost everyday, and sometimes even multiple transactions per day and still my request seems to be sleeping over someone else's table. Many false information had been given to me regarding the schedule of delivery. Many supervisors even promised "special delivery" and still I am waiting. Some agents promised to waive my bill if at their stated date of delivery, the phone won't be delivered. three said the request was approved but still, only one processed the request. I think the Globe call center team are only naking fun of my application. I am serious regarding thuis matter. I would like to request for their termination!

I am a GLOBE prepaid subscriber the particular promo by 2123 or facebook in globe charges me but I never subscribed for it. Although it only cost Php 2.50 every now and then it has become irritating. I never use my celphone in surfing the net, mostly sms to friends, now I believe who the culprit was when all of 2 loads of Php 20 just disappeared. Come to think of it I probably lost Php 42.50 in all for something I didn't use.This 2123 on Globe should be blacklisted or much better banned all together

I would like to make a complaint regardin this employee URMANETA, Laiza Rynna D, a Sales Strategy, Development and Operations of Globe Telecom who has been working with me regarding a postpaid application. I understand that some of us may not qualify, however each customer who applies for a product regardless if they qualify or not deserves a prompt feedback not to keep them hanging. This Laiza at the beggining kept on calling getting information from you (without doing a proper background check), then giving you all sorts of form. She will be calling in the middle of something or on wee hours of the day. Then when you do a followup, never care to return your text message or answer your call. And your motto for globe says Globe cares? I just hope you will treat your customers properly and response promptly. Honesty is everything.

I hope you can really fulfill what you tell your customers. Again, I would like to reiterate what have been promised to me by the previous agents. Since December 20, I was promised that I'll get a call from a verifier. After submitting my requirements, I was told that I'll get my unit between 3 to 5 working days. Since I didn't get any of these, I kept following up till the 6th time. I was told the same thing and asked the same standard questions over and over and over again. And I was promised same things over and over and over again. I followed up 4 times via facebook. I was told to call up the hotline. I did and was again asked to answer the same questions and was given same answers a hundred times coupled with apologies. I'm beginning to lose my trust that those promises will ever be fulfilled.
I hope you can be a little bit more prompt with your customers, otherwise, don't promise anything if there is no assurance that you'll be able to fullfill any of these promises.
Thanks for understanding my sentiments. The requirements are in the attachment. I would appreciate if you can acknowledge that you receive all these requirements. Thanks.

The last reply I got from Globe was filled with apologies and promises that they would "really" take care of my concern. Until now, I haven't heard from them. I can't anymore count the times I've followed up my application with them. Because of them, I decided NOT to pursue my postpaid application. Globe sucks!

Hello this thing just happened today jan 4, I just got a call from my wife that, my previous post paid line which, I already terminated last year mid of October. It is still active I been charged for. So I called the globe customer service, it took me 30 min to get connected to the service personnel. When I got to talk to the guy for 15 min, explain about my situation. Which I am being charged for my previous post paid which I terminated last year mid oct. the guy from globe customer service, told me it is not their area so I should call the department which is in charge for the disconnection. I was really stunned and, surprised how the customer service treat their client. I have a feeling he is trying to avoid the problem. I felt very upset, only thing I heard from him is I understand your problem. If he understand my problem, isn't he try to solve the problem rather than, telling me contact other department for my problem. For me I found it very rude and, the globe customer service is not really helpful. Beside I always had the similar problem previously, and the globe customer service told me exactly the same thing, as today.
I am wondering what is whole point having, customer service it does not solve the problem. I like globe but recently I getting really disappointed with the service they provide. I hope when I contact the department which, is in charge of my situation, don't say the exactly the same thing. What I hear today from the customer service.

bad customer service
I got 2 postpaid mobile plans from them and I've only been with the company for a year now. I specifically ask to receive a paper statement so I can present it to my company. However, my Billing Statement is not being sent automatically every month. I would have to call twice a month to ask for them to send it for a year! They would always say that its the delivery company's fault and never owned up to their mess. I would understand if there was a problem but not fixing it for a year is not good enough. I had enough and I asked them to remove my contract on just 1 account, reasonable enough knowing that I have problems on both. Still they would ask me to pay out my termination fee. Whenever I ask for a supervisor it would take them an hour to get one. All this stress and wasting of my time just for a statement to be sent automatically. THIS IS SOO PETTY BUT A COMPLETE WASTE OF MY TIME.

Your EMPLOYEE ever since he rented a room in our subdivision keeps on bringing home your vehicle and double parks. We as an association and owners are not doing this and already talked with him that the road where he parks is private and he is the only one doing this. Seeking assistance for us to file a formal complain in your company against this employee of yours. FYI also that his tenant is also doing illegal business as we do not allow them to build and convert the supposed residential building into a business. They are operating without business permit and have not paid anything for the tax which we are shouldering since 2017.

Good PM...Got some problem with my Cp since last month. I happened to experienced that after I load my Cp for the amount let's say 20P or 30P..without being used. The next day there is zero balance to my load. I don't use it yet its gone. I don't load anything that will gonna eat my load. If ever 2 texting and there it goes zero load...:(...Obviously I am not the oly one whose having the same problem. According to the newspaper that I read. Complaints everyday is getting bigger and bigger...:(...When will this gonna finish...hmm hope its not to late for me to change a sim that will work better than this Globe...:(

yes scan your bill. We were one of those that they have added charges to which are completely unauthorized. Had talked to several representatives but as expected, I was given false promises and a lot more misinformation. Agents are also rude. I will be transferring to DITO and hoping that I will not experience crappy services

Globe telecom philippines really had bad customer services. Other staff are idiot. I requested for un upgrade of our broadband modem since March 31, 2012. During my follow-up for a confirmed schedule last April 4, it came out that the customer service staff at SM Megamall was not able to report, facilitate my request. Then i made another request thru their customer business service hotline. Again, no report was facilitated and to date no proper action taken yet. They are only very fast in asking for payment and cutting the line of unpaid account. It took me 2 hours to be assisted at SM Megamall last March 31, how inconvenient!

YES TOTALLY AGREE! GLOBE TELECOM SERVICES IS THE WORST! TAGGING A TICKET AS URGENT WILL TAKE THEM MORE THAN 2 WEEKS TO RESPOND... WHAT THE f***! WE SHOULD BETTER START BURNING GLOBE OFFICES MAYBE IT WILL TAKE THEM 5 YRS TO REPAIR SUCH DAMAGE CAUSED! WHEN IT COMES TO THE BILL I HAVE NO PROBLEM, THEY COME ON THE DOT EVEN WHEN THEY DIDN'T GIVE ANY SERVICE AT ALL! I THINK THEY LOVE TO STAY THIS WAY BEING TALKED ABOUT ALL THE f***ING WORTHLESS PEOPLE WORKING!
Im arnel ...good evening im an agent of a bbsp company ...i want to ask the breakdown of cut off in payment and prorated ..cause most of my subscriber told me why they have a bill while they are activated in november 27 but they have bill on dec 9 ...can you give me a breakdown on how im going to discuss it my subscriber? indeed! it happened to me, just this month... I end up paying kasi there is no point arguing. wala din ako mapapala. gahaman talaga ang GLOBE TELECOM na yan, ang bagal pa nmn ng Connection nila. sakto na nga yung binabayad natin or should I say, sobra sobra na nga yung binabayad natin, basura pa rin ang internet connection nila, usad pagong pa rin. Nakakainis lng talaga isipin. Hay Naku!
it also happen to me...i ask there agents not only once but thrice about skype chat...there agent reply back saying its a simple chat like i used in yahoo chat..then 2 months i didn't receive my bill. when i receive my bill i got 18 000 pesos of bill. TO MY SURPRICE I DIDNT SEE ANY CHARGE ABOUT CHAT INSTEAD IT CHARGE ME INTERNATIONAL TEXT. I try to call and complaint to there service agent for 2 months. i even consult there service center and they cant provide solution. They insist that i should pay this amount which there mistake.
