Giant Eagle review: Medications

This compliant is specifically about all the Giant Eagle Pharmacies are totally out of Hydrocodone 10mg tablets.

It came to my surprise when I had a doctor visit and he submitted a prescription to my pharmacy. The pharmacist told me they were on back order at all the Giant Eagle Pharmacies. That was October 12th 2023. The doctor had to submit a script for 7.5mg. This caused me to be in pain for a month.

Then this last doctor visit he was going to submit a script for the 10mg and the pharmacist told me the same thing.

The only pharmacy that has it is Rite-Aid and they only have it for their customer and are not taking new one.

Why can Giant Eagle do that for their customers? This is irresponsible of Giant Eagle Corporate to let this happen. My wife and I have been using the same Giant Eagle Pharmacy for the past 35 years. My wife is 73 and I'm 76 and we trust this pharmacy even though we live 30 miles away now.

Please help us with this issue.
