Family Dollar cheetah cheese

To whom it my concern, I Betty Dixon went into the Family Dollar at the plaza in Belle Glade Florida. I saw that the cheetos jumbo puffs had a sticker on them 2 for 5 dollars. I grabbed2 bags went to the chech out and the cashier charged me. 3.25 cent. I told her they were on sale 2 for 5. The cashier rang the bell but know one came. I walked to the back and called Milency Francois for assistance.I showed him the t ticket on the cheetos he looked at me and said oh the sale is over and you can't get it for that price. I asked him why you didn't take down the tag. Francois frown and said well you can't get it.I asked for the manager, he said he's not here. I said who's in charge Francois said the assistant manager in front. I walked up to ask the assistant manager Francois yelled out in front of a crowed store don't give it to her she can't get. I'm trying to talk to the manager but he's yelling she not getting it and walked away. Lovely Chalestin called Francois over and said that lady asking for costumer service to complain.he looked at Lovely and said I don't care who she called and he walked out the store down to the restaurant and got food on the clock. He was been very rude and disrespectful to me in front of lovely for her to be a manager.I did not raise my voice or disrespectful to him. Lovely should have put that young man in his place.

Family Dollar store employee and the manager

The family dollar on ehrinhaugh st in elizabeth city nc is the worst store I have ever been to! Your employees are rude and the return policy is screwed up! My sister was a manager for one of your stores so I know what your policies are! The manager is very rude and I have stopped shopping there because of it! I go to dollar general now!. Also I bought a pair of slippers there and they fell apart in a week! But because of tour manager I can't return them!?

Family Dollar rude, sexual harassment, manager lindsey

Store on Mohican and Plank Road in Baton Rouge. My husband needed to cancel some items. Cashier needed the manager a man name Lindsey to do it. Mr. Lindsey took a long time to come and do it. When he came up front, he started laughing in the mexican cashiers face like it was a joke. We were ready to go and he too busy laughing and being rude to the cashier. I thought that mexican was gonna cry! Everytime I come in this store Lindsey flirt with me and other chicks. He stares at our buts and breasts and asks for cell numbers! He did the same thing when he worked at the Family Dollar in Delmont village! He always outside the store with different women hugged up. He got a wife and little girl that come up there and stay all day just hanging around in the store to see if he cheatin on her. She be mugging chicks in the store cause she think somebody want lindsey! He gone get reported for sexual harassment!

Family Dollar mistreated coworker

Yesterday 11/30/2017 when I was in store located in Texarkana Texas on New Boston road I noticed the line back up and no one would help on the other occupied register. The young man Derrick was trying to help customers with coupons/price errors on a receipt. Instead of his manager Jessica helping she started to belittle him in front of the customers. This not the only day and I don't think it's right/fair that your managers belittle their coworkers especially if they're not giving a helping hand

Family Dollar coupon did not scan

I submitted this complaint on the family dollar website 11/12/2017 with no response from them yet.
My issue was On 11/11/17 I purchased Tide Simply 60 ounces for $4.95 and I had a Proctor and Gamble coupon for $1 off One Tide simply detergent 37 ounces or higher with expiration date 11/11/17. The coupon wouldn't scan so the cashier called the manager over to put it in manually and the pregnant manager did not know how to do it manually, so I could not use the coupon and get the $1 off... She told me that I had to talk to the store manager and he would be in the next day 11/12/17 However, when I went there, he was not scheduled to work and wouldn't come back until Monday 11/13/17. The manager that worked 11/11/17 at 3939 west Ogden Ave Chicago IL 60623 was not professional...because when I left out the store and came back in, she was talking to the other customers about our situation and it was none of their business. She was not helpful at all and appeared to not care that she couldn't help with my $1 off coupon.
I would love for the managers to know how to handle a coupon if it doesn't scan properly.

Family Dollar customer service

I just left the family Dollar on peters Creek parkway in Winston-Salem NC. I called before I came to the store to make sure that I could get cash back. Clerk said yes. Go to store to make transaction, she said she had given out all her cash, she could not do it for me. I called store back to speak to manager, of course he put me on hold gave me a bogus number to call I would most definitely like to speak to someone and I will be calling news 2 for consumer reports! Family Dollar customer service rep inside carthage store

I went into the store in Carthage like I normally do a few times per week. I am usually greeted by the entire staff and everyone is usually working and helping the clients. There is a young lady named Laurie (Lori?) that has worked there for some time now and she is so rude and unpleasant every time I go in there. She is always using profanity and either sitting on the register counter or standing on something near the counter. I have heard several managers ask her to not to this and that and she will mumble under her breath loudly in front of customers. This particular day the manager on duty came to assist her while he was assisting another client in the store. He helped her and then said something disrespectful to him in front of a line of customers. I looked at her very rudely and said Wow. Really? And she just kind of shrugged like she didnt care. I have told her before that she is very rude and she needs to watch her language when customers are in the store especially while children and her Elders are in the store. Its very unprofessional for her to do this as well as a lack of respect to us the customers. I mentioned this to a store manager before and they said they would speak to her. I was l already skeptical going into the store because its been robbed twice in the last month or so. There are plenty of people who would love to have her job that she does not appreciate. I was shocked when i heard the fowl language spewing out of her mouth in front of customers. I went and found the manager and told him how disgusted i was and that i would be calling corporate because she keeps disregarding the customers. I never see her working. I see the managers and the CSR's. She is either outside smoking or on her phone. I was in there a few months ago and asked her to service the people in line because she was on the phone. A young lady was a manager at that time, African American. I told the manager at that time how rude she was right in front of her and how disgusted i was with her behavior. Now enough is enough. She needs to respect the store and its patrons. I am a loyal customer and i deserve respect and i demand it. Especially when i am in the store with my children. I plan on speaking to the District manager when he visits the store. I informed the manager that i would return, me and my husband to speak to him. The store has did a total 360 with the new management and staff. its bigger and cleaner and the managers are very pleasant. A you man named Cory always helps me when I am in there and another guy named Gary helps my children when they come in. The 2 managers are always very helpful and help my mother out when she comes in. I believe in having positive energy in all surrounds and businesses. Please address this matter. I dont want to have to travel to another store just so that my children and mother dont have to deal with that garbage.

Family Dollar a pregnancy test / manager stella

I purchased a pregnancy test went home used and it didn't work I then came back to store and the manager said I couldn't get a different one if it has been used I then said how do you know if it doesn't work if you don't use it she gave me attitude and didn't want to respond I said hello I'm talking to you I just asked a question she yelled and said I just told you what I said I asked for her corporate number she took 10 minutes to get it then she came out and threw it down on the belt I asked her what was her name and she yelled to me Stella I said can you put it on the paper she told me no and ran off talking trash I been on the phone with corporate for a hour now and still no answer yet this is ridiculous and bad service I will not be back to family dollar I rather spend more money with Walgreen's

Every since I reported my store my manager gas been talking about me to other employees saying he is going to pop me in the mouth and Judas betrayed Jesus and font get fired from your second job and saying she walks back in here like nothing happened and one of his employees said that if she continues yes to get her way fell be in trouble and I believe he is retaliating and trying to get me to quit. He talks about all his employees being their back and talks bad about them .he hasn't had an employees he doesn't talk about and if yes trying to get rid if you he gives you less and less hours less than ten.I work hard and have learned enough to be one assistant store manage in less than three months and I will conti UE to learn family dollar but this manager is taking a toll in my work experience. The last assistant store manager completely broke down and wished to leave the store.

5576 manager also said if I didn't leave it would be some [censor] up in here. The store is also still in disarray and not only that but he allows a certain female employees by the name of Michelle to come to work and he gossips with her about Me in the store.I have applied for assistant store management at the chatelston.location because I felt I cannot advance here in this hostile situation. I recently got a pitbull for protection

I applied for assistant store manager and also applied elsewhere for fear that my complaint of corporate violations I would not be allowed to advance at store 5576 as I have learnt a lot but is under severe emorionalstress due to the fact that the manager Brandon Mosley is retaliating against me and I had yo speak up be ause the retaliating is getting more and more vocal and to the point where I'm only getting one day on the work schedule and I ha e to keep bugging him for more houres as I only was scheduled one day for ten hours or less

Nothing got resolved at all new manager was brought in and still have two asm are still there and saying rude things to me and I'm not tolerating it.tgey about to get jacked up if they keep testing my patience talking smack because I turned their friend in for accepting fake 100dollar bills.store manager and the black asm.every time I leave they say something smart under their breath but aloud so I can hear it.no thank you ambitious bitch...it go get your money...they are rude and insikting and I will write to the company president in North Carolina if it continues.

Family Dollar manager sherry m. harassment

Please contact me. In regards to the most degrading, unprofessional, most embarrassing moment in our lives.
Falsely being accused if stealing, being followed out of. The store and being told to. Lift up his. Shirt!.
We was also threatened and told not to come back that we are all trespassed?!
When she was asked for corporate number I was told no, good luck finding on my own.
We then called the police and. Was Told to contact corporate offices, that this may be. A. Civil suit.
Will be waiting to hear from someone. And will keep trying.
There. Will be a total of 3-4 complaints coming in regards to this. Manager and the scene she caused and what she did to me. And. My Family

Family Dollar product pricing and management

I went to the mandan family dollar at 4:15 pm Nov 29 and proceeded to try to purchase pop that was marked 3 for 10 I got up to the till and it rang up at 4.75 when I tried to get the manager to fix it she started agruing with me stating that it was not her fault nor her problem. She continued to get mad and kicked me out of the store I go there everyday for my grocery needs... I spend 50 dollars or more each time I go to your store. Almost every time I go there the sale items I attempt to get are "marked wrong". Which 99 percent of the time they won't fix the issue. I'm a very loyal customer and love your products, but I don't think I will be shopping with your chain anymore due to the blatant rudeness of your managment.

Family Dollar policy

On the date of 11/29/2017 at approximately 4pm, I went into the Family Dollar store located on Caffin Avenue and Saint Claude Avenue in New Orleans Louisiana. I was purchasing a Christmas garland along with other items. When I went to the register the cashier rang the garland up and informed me that I was unable to purchase this particular garland and then proceeded to throw the garland and the trashcan located near the register. When I inquired why she said because the garland rang up as a penny which means that it was trash. I asked why could she not sell the garland to me for a penny instead of throwing it in the garbage can. The cashier informed me that it was store policy and she could not sell me the Garland. The cashier took a picture of the garland and sent it to the store manager asking if she could sell it to me rather than throwing it away. The manager said that it was last season and to throw it away. I don't understand why I was not allowed to make the purchase of the garland for a penny. To throw away a perfectly good item that a customer is willing to purchase is a total disgrace.

Family Dollar bathroom incident and very bad management

On Saturday, November 25, 2017, we visited Family Dollar #04444. I went to use the stores restroom and when I sat down on the toilet, the toilet seat shifted to the right as I fell back and to the side hitting my upper left shoulder area hard on the handicap rail. After this incident occurred I went up front to speak to the assistant manager, Edgar Lopez. He proceeded to tell me he could not leave the front to come and look at the toilet. I was able to speak to the other salesperson who was present, whose name was also Edgar, who went back with me to inspect the area where I fell in the bathroom. Edgar, the salesperson, after looking at it just took off and did not say anything to me. I then went back up front to ask the assistant manager, Edgar Lopez, for the Corporate phone number and he stated "it is on the window to get it from the front window. He was of now help and very rude. It was as if he could care less and trying to avoid the situation at hand.

My other complaint was how filthy the restroom was. It looks as if this had been broken for some time and the area where the bolt to hold the seat on apparently used to be, was extremely filthy as well as the wall and floor behind it.

The management was very unprofessional and it was as if he was very in experienced.

Prior to this incident, I had shoulder surgery in October and this incident has caused some soreness, swelling with a knot right below the surgery site. I hope this fall has not done damage to where they have to go in and repair the work they did.

I have attached the pictures that I took of the toilet and of my shoulder where there is a knot and swelling and very sore.

This has also caused me to lose business with my catering as I have not been able to use this arm due to the pain which I am losing business and money.

If the bathrooms were so nasty and disgusting, you shouldn't have used it. You should have checked into a 5-Star hotel if you had to piss/[censor] that bad. I don't shop at Dollar General/Family Dollar/Dollar Tree because their restrooms are oft filthy and fetid. That's your own fault for coming in a Family Dollar and expecting pristine restrooms. I don't know where you live, but the Dollar General/Family Dollar/ Dollar Trees usually have bathrooms equivalent to a Sunoco Gas Station. You are just whiny and entitled, which is why the Assistant Manager, Edgar Lopez, just brushed you off.

Come off your high horse.

Family Dollar unethical behavior from sales clerk

On 11-15-2017, I purchased a small table lamp from Family Dollar #04677 655 Worthington Road, Winterville, NC in order to see small writing because of the cataracts in my eye. I removed all tags from the lamp but I retained my receipt. I realized that the lamp would not suit my needs and needed to return it to the store. On 11-17-2017, I went back to Family Dollar to trade the lamp for some radio batteries. Mr. Peter Williams, the clerk in question had another clerk to look at the receipt and the second clerk said he did not see the lamp. Mr. Williams asked if I had another receipt which I promptly replied, no! He said he couldn't help me and to come back the next day to see the original clerk who could identify me as the person who bought the lamp. Due to an appointment, I could not return the next day but I did return on 11-23-2017 when I bought another lamp at Walmart. I looked at the same receipt and saw the lamp was on it. Mr. Williams did not believe me and suggested that I had either manipulated the receipt or found another one in an effort to scam the store. He was very unreasonable and he wasn't about to admit that he was wrong in his assumptions. He continued to assert that I was up to no good. I had given the lamp to Goodwill because honestly, I couldn't see the print on the receipt the first time I returned to the store. With the aid of the new lamp, I saw the receipt more clearly. On 11-24-2017, I finally saw the original clerk who assisted me when I purchased the lamp. She did confirm that I had indeed purchased the lamp and she remembered bagging the lamp separately that day. She looked at the receipt and said it was valid. Mr. Williams was not at the store and I haven't returned since that time nor do I intend to return to any Family Dollar Store. I was very insulted, embarrassed, and deeply humiliated by Peter Williams. Since He caused this chaos he should reimburse me for the lamp and apologize for his obnoxious behavior at the store. I've never been called a thief in all my 62 years. I have been a regular patron at that Family Dollar and in 1997, I was a sales clerk and I know how to treat customers!

I can understand about your opinion on the lamp. At the time I had no other choice but to give it away. I didn't want to sell it. The clerk made me feel as though I had faked the receipt and tried to scam the store. I was at a disadvantage because of my eyes and I live alone. I did not see the clerk who helped me previously until after all the drama and by that time the lamp was gone.

Although it was certainly poor customer service to directly accuse you of theft, it doesn't seem like he did anything unethical as he was trying to protect the store. I understand some of his hesitation since you removed the tags as well. Things have greatly changed in retail over the past twenty years.

While I agree with you that you should receive an apology, you should not receive a refund for the lamp since you gave it to Goodwill. If you wanted a refund then you should not have done that.

Family Dollar verizon wireless zte lte flip phone

Purchased a Verizon Wireless ZTE Z233V LTE Flip Phone on November 24th, 2017 for $20.00. The cashier told me they sold $10 plans on up to $80. I got the 20$ airtime. So spent 42$ total. Went home tried to activate phone and was told 40$ was the minimum to get the phone activated. Why sell something knowing that it isn't rhe right amount needed. Yall have cashiers there who have no clue what they are doing. I called the store and was told that im out of luck cause they don't do refunds for phones or airtime. So now im screwed out of 42$ that i very much needed. This is ridiculous and i demand something to be done about it asap.

Family Dollar horrible customer service by the manager of the store

The manager at this location was very rude. I simply asked why the cashier did not take the coupon off the laundry soap I purchased and he got smart. He said she doesn't have to take the coupon if I don't personally hand it to her. I had my hands full with the other things I was purchasing and was distracted with the other clerk who was very helpful.
I was quite offended and I refuse to go to any Family Dollar store ever again!

Family Dollar service

After many years shopping in this store, I have never been treated so badly like today. Family Dollar in key West has holidays hours which says open at 8am, I even checked online and it says 8am. So after waiting hour up front of the store and letting manager know that their hours says 8am, he started arguing with me and keep saying no we open at 9. Then he smoke cigarette and even it was already 9am he locked the door right up front of me 😲😲😲 I couldn't believe my eyes. I'm 8month pregnant and it takes me 20 min to walk to this store, which I go to pretty much every day, so do the math 20 min get there, hour of waiting and 20 min get back home. Thats nearly 2 hours waist of my time, being treated horribly, kicked out and walk home with none of the stuff I was going to buy. I will be writing complain to everywhere where I can to make sure this new manager gets fired.

Family Dollar net 10 sim card kit

I walked in to family dollar on west broad street in Columbus Ohio zip code 43204 I asked a lady which had no knowledge of the store for a net 10 SIM card kit. She called for her assistant manager which also was clueless on the item. I paid $10.00 on a credit card for this kit to come to find when it "kept ringing up a dollar" on their machine they both said "nothing is a dollar" and charged me 10.00 for this kit which is very unacceptable and poorly managed facility. I'm looking to get some kind of acceptable outcome from corporate office. And have something done about this. It's a holiday season and I was way overcharged for this item. Thank you. Sincerely. Family Dollar I am complaining about an employee

As soon as store opened I was a regular at the store from day one until they hired an individual who has no respect for anyone whatsoever I am literally shopping and the cashier starts flirting w my husband as I bring it up to another employee whom I spoke to regularly I'm assuming she let mgr know well then I went another day and I had a verbal disagreement w a cashier and minde you she's cursing at me well I'm nt just gonna stand there I told her back while this is going on the manager is sitting at a computer not saying a word as I left I called to request # to home office and the manager tells me I'm nt allowed to go back ok I respect that remember it's that one employee causing the problem, ok so then my young girls go around 940pm to purchase some sweets well this individual tells them they only have 5 minutes last I ckd store closes at 1000 pm and gets an attitude w my girls they come home and tell me well I wanted to see which employee it is And Guess what it's the same one so I made a police report on this individual so as I get home my husband asks what happened I tell him and my brother n law tells me that's exactly what happened with him and his gf, , I don't think it's us with a problem I think this individual has a big problem and is causing family dollar money because like I said I went in at least 2 times a day bt the manager is not there as a manager she's more of a friend to these employees and I think that's very unprofessional I really think this needs to be taken care of for the sake of the company

Family Dollar the stores manager/employee

ive gone to that store everyday for 7 years and about 2 months ago I went in and was stopped and told I wasn't allowed in there when I asked why they couldn't give me a answer so I went back next day hoping to speak with the manager and I asked a employee why I wasn't allowed to be in there she told me she thought I looked like someone on camera that had been stealing from the store so I asked to see the footage for proof since they didn't know for sure if it was me and they told me no .. so now 3 months later I went back in the store and the new manager that was once the employee that told me she was told it was me and would not allow me in there ive shopped in that store everyday for 7 years and have never been accused of stealing and talked to to rudely I want them to show me proof that it was me since they didn't seem sure anyways
