10-08-2021 Was shopping walked up to counter Amy was standing at one register I asked her if she was opening because she was standing there on her phone. She rudly said no the register down there without the closed sign. Told her was aware of sign wasnt sure if she was opening to relieve other cashier and told her she didnt need to be a smart [censored] about it. I went to other register to be checked out as she continued to mumble on. Cashier checking me out was very courteous as I turned to put a bag in my cart Amy, who was not checking me out says and I quote "See ya [censored]" I turned around and said wtf did you just call me? She got quiet. When cashier who was waiting on me finished my order I asked her if there was a number for corporate I could get. Amy then says go ahead call them my name is Amy and I am the manager. Again very rudly. Never gave me the number just her name and posiotion. I looked up the numbers myself when I got home. All I got is autmated system telling me would get back to me in 5 business days.. still no call back. I have worked in retail my entire life and been in management up until becoming disabled from a spine disease in 2010. I am 51 years old and I have never experienced such poor management and service in my life. I shop and family dollars quite often however if this is the type of people and management family dollar employees to represent their company I will not be spending another cent in any family dollar or dollar general. Not a person who wants to see anyone lose their job especially in these times but Miss Amy has no business managing a store she does not have the skills to do so. I would recommend more training and finding an employee more capable and skilled for the manager position. If anybody actually cares to get back to me my name is Tia Woodworth and my email is [protected]@gmail.com You can reach out there and I can provide you with my phone number. Thank you for your time.
