I've been going in family dollar for many years, I've never had an associate yell at me and be very disrespectful over not wearing a mask. This is everytime I go in family dollar on MCLEAN me and my daughter are harrassed I told the manager soaul and Sharon who currently work there I have a medical issue with wearing a mask and so does my daughter and they both replied back they don't care we gave to wear it or we can't shop in the store. This is very disheartening to me and I've explained numerous amount of times if something happens to me or my daughter because you are not adhering to the Governor's executive order this store will be liable Sharon and soaul replies are they cant help me we still have to wear the mask like everyone does, Sharon also told the cashier's there do not check me out and soaul told the employees at Mclean family dollar dont let me in the store with out a mask even thought I've told him numerous amount of times I can't medically tolerate it, so I ask the someone please get involved and oversee this because at this point these to supervisor's or manager's are abusing their position, thank you I can be reached at [protected], my Name is Rhonda, thank you,

Please contact the family dollar 180 Mclean Avenue 10705 Yonkers NY and please explain to your employees mask are not to be forced, especially if its not medically tolerated, And this is also against my human rights, as well as a Violation of my first Amendment rights,

I'm constantly being harassed and disrespected

The executive order is not a requirement for retail and discount stores to allow those who can't wear a mask due to medical conditions to shop without a mask. The executive order is a requirement to wear a mask in public places with the exemption of those with medical conditions. The exemption is only to stop police from arresting you for not wearing a mask and has nothing to do with whether or not stores are allowed to impose their own mask mandates with no exemptions for health. Really you think about it only people who have health issues should wear a mask cause those who have health issues are more likely to get the virus and more likely to have symptoms such as sneezing and coughing which makes the virus spread easier. Those of us who are healthier are less likely to get the virus and tend to stay asymptomatic which can spread the virus but is less likely. The death tolls would have been allot lower if the mask mandate was in reverse. Mask should be worn by those who have health issues hence more likely to spread or die themselves, and those who are healthier go without the mask since even if they get it they aren't likely to die of it and aren't likely to spread it. Yes I know the mask is to protect others and social distancing is to protect yourself. Mask stops symptomatic spread through sneezing or coughing, that's why I say those who have health issues should wear the mask
