We are Extended Stay Corporate members 2009. Extended Stays of America will charge you for your booked rate for 1 month. After this time the hotel will Drop the Taxes and Fees (Our history of stays shows this). This has been the case for EVERY Extended Stay we have stayed at. This is why we use them. Clean hotels, very friendly staff, etc. We spend at least 10 months of the year working out of state. Then we check into the Extended Stay America - Indianapolis - Castleton · 7940 N Shadeland Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46250. We have been here from our check in date on May 6th. Our rate was $52.24 a night $427.85 a week. Then on June 6th our rate dropped to $300.00 a week. I have the bank records to show for the rest of June, July and August the rate never changed. 2 weeks ago we were charged $440.00 for no reason. Went to the desk and to correct the charge they just moved the due date to make up for this over charge. This week we were charged $338.00 for no reason. I am seriously looking at changing our loyalty to WoodSpring Suites which offers the same options without the headache. Doing the Math at $300.00 a week is $1200.00 a month. If you take just that total x10 months? That is a lot of money to throw down the drain just because you hotel staff can get a base charge right...
Desired outcome: Charge us our earned flat rate of $300.00 a week consistently for the duration of our working schedule in Indianapolis and refund the difference of the over charge.
