Extended Stay America - False Charging

The rate I'm being charged isn't the rate that I was given to me on my reservation. When I ask the hotel manager his response is "I don't know" and I can't get anyone from guest relations to respond to my calls or complaints. Upon checking in I gave the front desk clerk a copy of my service animal paperwork and it was "conveniently" lost, so they are trying to charge me a pet fee. I pay weekly on Sunday but yet on Wednesday of the same week I'm charged a late fee, how is that possible? And I paid a week in advance when I checked in. No one can explain why I'm being charged late fees.

The manager smokes pot in the front lobby and I've had three necklaces stolen from my room when he came in my room while I was at without any notice or reason because I have it on my pet cam. But yet no one from corporate will respond to me.

Desired outcome: I want my necklaces back and reimbursed for the late fee's and pet fee's

Extended Stay America - Noise complaints

08-2021 (1:00-3:30am): I was very ill & ordered out of work for 5 days and my mother was close to dying (which see did 8-20-21). Doctor advised total bedrest with no stress. There was loud talking outside close to my window. I called down to the desk clerk, while I was looking outside. One of the 3-4 persons was him, as I saw the cell phone in his hand and could hear him. He apologized and said they would stop. Two hours later they were still out there. After trying to get him to answer the phone a few times, I called the police, who took 30 minutes to arrive. It was only then the employee and other residents went inside. I went downstairs to speak to this clerk to let him know this was not handled properly. He immediately became very confrontational and verbally abusive. Said among other things, the outside was public property and "he" had every right to be outside and not address my complaint. It went on for approximately 10 minutes. I was VERY upset and actually scared. After going back to my room, I did not sleep the rest of the right. A plan to try & work in the a.m. was dashed. Told the manager the next morning about it. She told me there was nothing they could do because the abusive employee had given a two week notice; thus they could NOT fire him during that two-week period. I was left feeling very insignificant and nervous. I had been here for about two years, after escaping a very abusive relationship and I had felt safe here.

Desired outcome: I would happy to speak to your board; but MUST remain anonymous, as I still live here. I am doing another complaint following this one. Thank you. Patty [protected]
