Algotel confirmation number 7533869 Academy Hotel Colorado Springs Colorado. (July 25- 28)
Helen Sick
We recently tried to take a road trip from Washington state to Colorado Springs Colorado.
When we arrived at LeGrand Oregon on July 22,2024, the area south of us was engulfed in wildfires (Durkee wildfires). We had to cancel our trip and all hotels we booked refunded us or never charged us due to the natural disaster.
Algotels is a third-party Expedia deals with. Even though the Academy Hotel accepted our cancellation, Algotels refused to refund us the $522.00.
I am still requesting a refund and am hoping that Expedia will assist.

Your road trip turned into quite the adventure, complete with wildfires and cancellation chaos! It's great to hear that most of the hotels were understanding, but it's a shame that Algotels hasn't been cooperative.

Hopefully, Expedia steps in and works some magic to get your refund sorted out. After all, no one should have to pay for a vacation they never got to enjoy — especially one interrupted by Mother Nature herself!

Here’s hoping your next trip goes smoother and involves fewer natural disasters. Wishing you luck in getting this resolved quickly!
