Booked a trip on December 13th 2025. Cancelled a few hours later because I felt it was too expensive and I panicked. Also I did not know that it had gone through because I never got a confirmation at the time of purchase. It just kept loading. I saw my credit card had the cost of the trip so that’s when I cancelled. The hotel was no refundable which I had not realized. When I realized this I wanted to keep the hotel stay so that I wouldn’t be paying for nothing but they wouldn’t let me. Told me I cancelled so the reservation didn’t exist! So I paid $3000.00 for nothing! I gave big business a few months pay for nothing!

I booked a trip through Expedia on December 13th 2025, on my birthday, for February. At the time of booking, the buffering circle/loading circle was continuous and no confirmation was provided after several minutes. I turned my phone off and aborted the purchase because I did not receive a confirmation at the time of purchase and considered the mattered closed. However when I later checked my credit card statement the charge had gone through. I panicked and canceled the trip. Expedia reimbursed the cost of the flight and the car but did not reimburse the hotel. Apparently the hotel was nonrefundable. At any rate I cancelled the same day as the questionable service. The charge of $3000.00 for nothing seems so outrageous and ridiculous and frankly FEELS LIKE ROBBERY. I KNOW NOTHING WILL BE DONE BECAUSE I FEEL VIOLATED AND AM TRULY DISGUSTED.
