I am submitting a formal complaint regarding my reservation at Banmae Resort Kohchang scheduled for December 26–30, 2025 (Reservation ID: 600873999, Reference No: CN25112216599), which was processed through Agoda via Expedia.
The resort has confirmed that they accept the cancellation and are not blocking the process. However, despite the cancellation being accepted, the refund has not been issued. The resort has explicitly stated that they require an official cancellation confirmation from Expedia in order to finalize the process.
As the payment was processed through your platform, Expedia bears direct responsibility for ensuring that the cancellation and refund are completed in accordance with consumer protection standards and contractual obligations. Failure to provide the required confirmation and refund constitutes a breach of these obligations.
I therefore demand that Expedia:
1. Issue an official written cancellation confirmation to Banmae Resort Kohchang.
2. Immediately process and release the refund for the cancelled reservation.
