I attempted to rent a car this summer. My family has rented thru Enterprise for vacations countless times for decades. I was told this year that I was unable to rent due to having been put on a DNR list. I called Risk Management who told me that I'd been put on the list in 2021, over 3 years ago. Which made no sense as I have rented since then. Risk Mgmt said I would need to contact the Woodbridge location as they put me on the list. I called & Woodbridge location indicated she did not know anything about this list. She indicated it was because the car was in an accident with a family member driving, & I had not signed the additional driver form. She indicated this form cost $15. I told her I do not recall this request. If someone had asked me to sign the form, I am confident I would have signed it. My insurance company paid for everything in full with the accident.
I am a responsible customer who values your company. I have a perfect driving record & a perfect credit score. I was mortified to find out I'm on this 'never to rent again' list. I am asking if I can please be reconsidered as a customer of Enterprise. Now that I know, I will promise to always sign the additional driver form even if no one else is likely to drive.
