Enterprise Rent-A-Car Damage Claim

I utilized a Enterprise commercial pick up truck and while using the vehicle the back right bumper was damaged, minimally damaged. Because the back right bumper was slightly damaged and could easily be replaced I requested that I could just do the repair out of pocket. The Rep said that it would not be an issue and ultimately went against my insurance anyway. Immediately after the incident I took the vehicle to a commercial RAM dealership nearby for an estimate and they stated that sense it was just a matter of replacing the bumper and no body damage it would be $984.00. Enterprise instead chose to not only go against my insurance but forfeited utilizing a replicable commercial business such as Ford RAM commercial dealership in order to get an inflated quote from a non replicable business so that they could collect more from me, as well as, my insurance company. On their estimate the body shop they used lied and exaggerated the damages so that they could collect $1650.37 from the claim. They clearly committed insurance fraud and me being a prior Platinum Member I will never do business with them again if this is not addressed! Enterprise has the audacity to still try to collect $300 additional funds from me on top of their shady dealings! Claim [protected]

Desired outcome: Conclude the claim and zero out the so call $300 deductible that they know is frivolous!

Enterprise Rent-A-Car Rental Car in St. Louis MO 7DRX60

I went to the car rental in Hazelwood MO, and they rented me a Kia Soul, and its a high probability that the car would get stolen, due to the high number of these particular cars that have been reported in St. Louis. I asked the salesman will the car be safe and what will happen if it gets stolen. He informed me that it would not be my responsiblity. Well the car was actually stolen from my home and they are saying I need to pay a $500 deductible. If you know that this is a problem why would you rent this particular car to your customers. Please help me understand this.

Desired outcome: Place tracker, or kill switch on vehicles that you know are high on the list to be stolen.

Enterprise Rent-A-Car Denial of rental without merit

My lady and I arrived at Tampa International Enterprise RAC with all the proper documentation and forms of payment necessary to rent a vehicle and when approaching the booth to leave with the car the representative which refused to give her name or employee ID number seemed to be having a bad day and immediately began to speak to my lady and I in a very unprofessional manner. She asked if I had a debit card for the tolls which I did and then stated that I had to have a return flight in order to use the debit card which I had as well but as I was looking for the itinerary for my return flight she called a manager which stated that his name was Dre and he immediately stated without considering my document that I wasn’t going to be able to rent the car today. After he finished speaking I asked him why not this would be the third time I’ve rented a vehicle from this location with this exact card and documentation and he shrugged me off and said there’s nothing he can do about it because he’s only an assistant manager and that there wasn’t anybody else to speak to at the time before walking off. I immediately called Enterprise customer service number to file a complaint as I felt discriminated by these actions and even though the representative agreed that this situation wasn’t right she had requested for me to ask for there employee ID number so that she can add it to the complaint and the employees refused. I have video of the incident and plan on filing a civil suit as my lady and I felt embarrassed and hurt by these actions especially coming from a company who’s had all sorts of discrimination issues in the recent past. We would like to be compensated an undisclosed amount due to pain and suffering from these actions on Enterprise RAC and there employees behalf and would also like for these employees to be retrained the proper way or be fired immediately to prevent this from happening to anyone else. I would prefer to resolve this matter directly with Enterprise RAC if possible prior to pursuing this matter through a civil court in which I will further discuss the full incident and provide whatever proof and videos necessary to back up my claim.

Enterprise Rent-A-Car Toll fee scam via email

Hello!

We had a rental car from Enterprise summer of 2022, as part of our own car being fixed after an accident. We have our own toll transponder for Ezpass, which we used in the rental car for the duration of the rental period. We never activated the courtesy transponder inside the rental car. Why would we?

It has been over 10 days since returned the car, and today we got an email from '[protected]@htallc.com', claiming that we owe $8.07 in tolls, and $11.85 in service charges, for a total of $19.92.

Whomever this is has access to my personal credit card (which I did not give to Enterprise at the time of the rental, not to the body shop), so the card is now locked. The fee $19.92 was charged to the card.

I am attaching the email for reference.

Desired outcome: Refund.

Enterprise Rent-A-Car rental car

I have booked a minivan from 4/28/2022 4PM-4/30/2022 4PM and as per my booking I have returned the minivan on 4/30/2022 around 2-3PM. I have been over charged for 2 extra days for the amount $283 which is inaccurate. I have tried to dispute the charge with my credit card by it was rejected my enterprise. I have called enterprise many times to fix the over charge and they are saying that charge is valid which is totally false. I have returned car on 4/30/2022 by dropping off the car key in a drop box as the office is closed. enterprise is saying that the office is closed on 4/30/2022 at 2:30 PM and i had to return it before that to consider within time which is not mentioned to me and I am not even aware of it. if that is the case I should have been charged for 1 extra day only as the office is opened again on 4/31/2022, but enterprise is saying that I have returned the car on 05/01/2022 7:00 PM which is totally false and I am asking for enterprise to provide a proof which they didn't provide it.

Desired outcome: refund

Enterprise Rent-A-Car Toll charges

I had a rental with enterprise from 5/26/2022 thru 7/19/2022 all the time with my expresstoll transponder in the windshield as I informed the initial rental representative that I would be doing and was only told “ok”.. after my rental was returned I received a notification that I was being charged $93.88 for toll charges of which I was also paying expresstoll on my monthly account for some of the same tolls. I sent a copy of each bill in showing one certain day had the same charges and was told they were not duplicate charges so I decided to look further into what I was being charged for. I found two separate days that I was charged for the same roadway that I am on many other days but those particular days and times I was not even close to where they said per my timeline on google maps. Another day that I took a quick ride to the mall showed that with that one hour that I was on the road going to and leaving the mall I was charged $26.22 in total fees for that drive up and down the street. On top of all the fraudulent fees I was also charged an extra $19.75 for service/administration fees that they “so kindly” will refund me. I want people to be aware that they are being charged fees not incurred and should compare all charges to their location history if they’ve ever been charged tolls by enterprise, I am quite sure there have been many many charges that were not deserved.. this is fraud. I am filing complaints with the BBB next.

Desired outcome: My money back and everyone to be aware that they are committing fraud. Public awareness.

Enterprise Rent-A-Car Security deposit not released

I have taken the rental for one day 13-Aug to 14-Aug at Wesley Chapel, Florida. RA# 78VCSN. The rental car I have used is Nissan Versa. The security deposit of $300 is not released to my account (I have used debit card since I didn’t have credit balance at my credit card). When checked with the customer care, they have mentioned that the security deposit was processed on Aug-14 and they asked to check with my bank. But they didn’t share the transaction reference number and they mentioned they don’t have (something fishy). Without the reference number, my bank can’t help me out on this. Please check and release my security deposit

Enterprise Rent-A-Car Rental overcharged

I Rented a Suv thru my insurance company on July 8th and I was giving a Suv with no air condition and tire pressure issues. I brought it back to swap it out and they had no vehicles. I had to suffer for a week in a 100 degree car for over a week. Then after a week I called them to swap out hot vehicle and they gave me a Jeep compass and if you look on the internet and every where a Jeep compass is considered a Compact Suv. My insurance pays $50 @ Day 30 days or $1,500 max

So Vestal manager Ryan says I went over my rented days but I didnt because at $30 @ day for 30 days rental comes out to $900 and for another 17 days it comes out to $510 which makes the total $1,410 I didn't go over my Ins Rental. Now Ryan is trying to charge Geico $1,500 and me the balance which is wrong. He is over charging Geico and me for a compact Suv. My vehicle a Jeep Grand Cherokee is a mid size Suv which if rented cost$50 @ day. That's not what was giving to me I recieved a $30 @ day vehicle. My Jeep is still at body shop and I had nothing to drive and I was waiting on body shop they are over 2 weeks late on the repair. I dropped my Jeep off to body shop on July 15th and they had 12 days to fix it. Which means it should have been done by July 27th. No one called me or informed of the delay. Now today I get a letter from Enterprise saying I went over my rental. But a Jeep compass is not a Mid size Suv. So Enterprise is over charging Geico and me. It should be a total of $1,410 and you still have my deposit. I shouldn't owe anything. I need this resolved asap. I tried to discuss it with Ryan manager at Binghamton but he has an attitude and is ignoring me. He won't even answer me.

I need it resolved I have rented from Enterprise for over 10 years and never had a problem. I want this resolved fairly. If it doesn't get resolved I have no choice but to File complaints with The Ny State Attorney General and State Consumer Protection Agency

and The FTC and The BBB and NACA and an Attorney.

Please respond today ASAP

Thank You Jeanette Kaylor

Phone [protected]

Email [protected]@gmail.com

Desired outcome: Charge Geico the correct rate of $30 a day for a Jeep Compass. I would not owe anything it should be covered under my ins which has a max of $1,500

Enterprise Rent-A-Car Rental tahoe

I had to rent an SUV close to my Durango because of 4 children. My insurance paid up until a certain amount and then I return it or keep until my car was done being repaired. I kept it because I am a busy mom of 4 and a teacher. There was already scratches on the Tahoe that they did not note on the agreement. When I dropped the vehicle off it was fine. I cleaned the interior and there was not a hole in the leather seat or a stain. Leather does not get stained. My kids had food, it wipes right off the leather. Yes, it needs to be vacuumed etc. If I had been told anything at all I would have cleaned it nicely before bringing it back to them. They were so vague relaying any details to the rental that I played guessing games about miles/gas. Now they are determining damage by me and saying I avoided them; horrible accusations were made towards me, and it is just absolutely absurd. I have phone records, emails, online chats, texts, etc. showing I called multiple times to give them a new card number and pay the rental. I paid in full, and they charged me an extra 500 dollars instead of the 100 deposits. I have never been treated in such a disrespectful way by any store owner. I am absolutely appalled I am being accused of an accident with damage on passenger side which my fiancé, myself, and my mother just all happened to not see it/> I dropped the car off in a bad area, many homeless, or drugs etc. so maybe someone did something. I know it was not smashed or damaged in any form when I dropped it off. Also, I am very disgusted that the loss prevention agent wrote they did many drive Bys at my personal private home mind you on a dead-end road. They pulled over across from my house a few times and looked like kidnappers, my children were petrified. As my fiancé came out, they sped off. This happened numerous times and the whole time all I tried to do was pay for the rental in full! No one would take my card information! I am making this complaint due to Enterprise making false accusations towards me as well as charging my card much more than I was told. Also, stalking my home and endangering my childrens safety. When I left the Tahoe I paid for every day I had it due to my car taking tremendously longer than anticipated. I attest that all was in order and there was not any damage when I dropped the car off in the parking lot. I would like Enterprise to take back the name calling of me and ridiculous demands of loss and damage.

Enterprise Rent-A-Car Extra Insurance Unknowingly Charged to Rental

Back in March I was involved in a vehicle wreck. The other drivers insurance took full responsibility which included a rental car through enterprise.

Upon pickup i was asked if I wanted the additional insurance. As I always do I stated "No, All State is responsible for all fees, I have my own insurance and my credit card on file covers me also". I even sent a copy of my insurance to the rental rep upon request. I get in the car and drive away.

Upon drop off there is a charge of $192.60 going on my credit card. I immediately talk to the store rep about how I never agreed to the additional insurance. And stated the same thing as above. He agrees to take it off.

Well, move on another week and the $192.60 charge posts to my credit card. Again I try to contact Enterprise but with no response this time. So I dispute the charge with my credit card company with all the backup and I win. Still never here a peep from Enterprise.

Come this week in the mail is a collections notice from Enterprise saying I owe them $192.60. Never a phone call, never a follow-up email or a response to by CC dispute.

I am sick of dealing with this. First off I never requested this additional insurance. To me it seems to be another branch to their claim scam they have been caught running. Second, no attempt to contact me outside of a claims letter? Enterprise has some ethical issues that they need tofigure out.

Desired outcome: The false charge removed from my rental or reach out to All State for payment as they took responsibility for the wreck.

Enterprise Rent-A-Car Unconprofessional service Billing credit not applied

At check out I stated I could not give a completely satisfied. The billing rate was incorrect for first week it was 34.88 per daily. for a rogue. The billing indicated I was charged 40.00 daily from day one. I was give a edge after the fuel cover popped open and would not close on the rogue I was told by Yanique Walker she would issue a courtesy credit of 200.00. I needed to provide the receipt that the rate was 34.99 I did not have it with me. Should not that have been in their system? Just because an insurance will pay up to 40.00 per does not mean all cars should be 40/day. I submitted the receipt via email a few days later. I have not received the 200.00 credit I tried to call the branch manager at [protected] the ph# was not working Why is it so hard to get a daily rate paper receipt from enterprise. I hated the edge it is a gas guzzler and felt like it would shut off when stopping

Desired outcome: I would like to review the credit of 200.00 also would to be able to submit a review. If a branch manager text with a phone number he or she should be reachable by phone or email.

mr. Chris R.

Carpal tunnel and neuropathy combined is painful therefore I try to limit Email communicationas much as possible and prefer to communicate via phone I will copy and paste my previous communication and then you may give me a call if you so desire. This experience has left a bitter taste in my mouth with regards to enterprise because I I have felt that even if the initial billing did not show the $200 courtesy credit if you will that it could have been done at a later date so I waited to see if the credit would show up on a later statement. I’m just speechless the initial transaction was not in enterprise system. I was asked to provide a copy then the credit was not provided Yanique’s word was not her bond.

thank you kindly I appreciate it.

Enterprise Rent-A-Car Billing for damages I did not cause. Fraud!!!

I was picked up 5/23/22 at 12pm by my local enterprise. I advised a couple times my only real requirement is that I needed at least 5 seat belts. They told me to take a seat and they would be with me. Looking in the parking lot there were a couple SUVs that should have 5 seat belts. After a few people whobcame in after me were helped they pulled up with a Volvo xc60. I didn't complain it was beautiful with all upgrades. We did the walk around and it seemed normal. I get in it and start it notice a funny smell. With my florida allergies my husband is always saying I'm smelling things that are not there. To me it smelled like someone spoke weed in it. So many wake and bakers in florida I figured that was it and moved on. The next couple days i drove the kids 4 7 miles to school and 4.7 miles home.

Saturday 5/28 I received a call an hour before enterprise opened stating that it was IMPERATIVE that I take the vehicle to get an oil change or bring it back to they could. Well I was loving the car so I told them I would take it it. I drove up to tire kingdom and they were booked until Monday 5/30/22 memorial day. I drive back up there on Monday drop the vehicle off and explain that I all I need is the oil changed and it was a must that I get the vehicle back that day. 6pm ish I noticed tire kingdom never called and I called them. To my surprise they were already closed next day my mom called in late to work and dropped me off at tire kingdom. I walked in the guy asked if I had an appointment and I told him no I just wanted my rental back. He handed me the keys with out confirmation who I was. I have absolutely no idea what they did with the vehicle or if it even stayed on the property. I drove back home and the next day Wednesday to head into work. I normally work from home. I have had to actuallygo into the office5x in a yearband a half. I got home 8:30pm. Didn't leave Thursday and all day Friday. Friday night I went to start the car to take my son to a friend's and I couldn't get the vehicle out of park it was throwing all kinds if error codes. used my husband's truck to take my son to his friend's. Next day Saturday afternoon ish I called enterprise and let them know there was an issue. They sent a tow truck driver to my house for the vehicle and an Uber for me. The tow truck driver was able to get it to start and get it out of gear to put it up on his truck. Fast forward a bit and I get a call from the regional manager telling me the vehicle was a total loss,I better advised my insurance company and to give him my insurance information. Of course I told him in no way shape or form did I cause any damage to that vehicle. He told me that I caused the damage during localized flooding due to the hurricane. I responded that the hurricane he is speaking of was in Miami 4 hours from me and we didn't get any rain at all. He was adamant that I caused this and was belittling me on the phone. Extremely nasty. I hung up on him. Now remember the tow truck driver pick the vehicle up from my driveway not the middle of a street somewhere like you see when there is flooding.

I now have pictures from my neighbors ring camera showing the vehicle in the same spot on the days mentioned and the ground is dry I have screenshots of Google showing I was home and I have no life since I work on call 24/7. My husband checked with the EOC and confirm we did not have flooding in our county.

I received a bill from enterprise for this "total loss" for less than 10,000.00 for a 2021 fully loaded suv. Per the bil It now has new brakes, batteries, seat belts, airbag sensors and on and on.

This is 100% fraud and I have asked my insurance to fight it. Not that I have the money but I would rather pay an attorney than give them money and be apart of their fraud.

Desired outcome: Admit to theor mistake and stop threatening me telling me I caused this.

I normally work from home but had to go into the office this time. I got home around 8:30pm. Didn't leave the house Thursday and most of Friday. Friday night I went to take my son to a friend's house and I couldn't get the vehicle out of park it was throwing all kinds if error codes up on the dash. It would start and run for a fwe seconds then turn off. I ended up using my husband's truck. Next day Saturday noon ish I called enterprise and let them know there was an issue. They sent a tow truck driver to my house for the vehicle and an Uber for me. The tow truck driver was able to get it to start and out of park he backed it out of the driveway to put it up on his truck. Fast forward a bit and I get a call from the regional manager telling me the vehicle was a total loss, I better advise my insurance company and needed to give him my insurance information. Of course I told him in no way shape or form did I cause any damage to that vehicle. He told me that I caused the damage during localized flooding due to the hurricane. I responded that the hurricane he is speaking of was in Miami 4 hours from me and we didn't get any rain at all. He was adamant that I caused this and started belittling me. Being Extremely nasty to the point I hung up on him. Keep in mind the tow truck driver picked the vehicle up from my driveway. Not the middle of the street somewhere like you would see if I had driven through flooding.

I now have pictures from my neighbors ring camera showing the vehicle in the same spot on the days mentioned and the ground is dry I have screenshots of Google showing I was home and I have no life since I work on call 24/7. My husband checked with the EOC (Emergency Operation Center) to confirm that no, we did not have flooding in our county. Not anywhere in our county.

I received a bill from enterprise for this "total loss" for less than 10,000.00 for a 2021 fully loaded suv. Per the bill It now has new brakes, batteries, seat belts, airbag sensors and on and on.

This is 100% fraud and I have asked my insurance to fight it. Not that I have the money but I would rather pay an attorney than give them money and be apart of their fraud.

Enterprise Rent-A-Car Car Rental

Reservation- YVY9TK

I can provide more documentation as requested for the following

This is my story / complaint

After nearly 30 years of Car Rentals - This is the worst experience I ever had

FIRST - I was in an Accident and I am already DISABLED VETERAN with a Terminal Lung Disease and Degenerative Disease of my L5 S1 (Low Back w Sciatica). I was hit at 40 MPH while I was at a stop from behind. Needless to say my Neck & Back is injured.

I have Rental Coverage on my Insurance so my Attorney used my Insurance for immediate action since I was hit the day before Thanksgiving.

SECOND - My Rental Car Coverage ended on January 4, 2022. EXACTLY one week later (January 11, 2022) I received a FedEx Letter stating that I am going to be charged with FELONY GRAND THEFT AUTO, and I am not to DRIVE THE VEHICLE AT ALL AND I AM TO CALL ENTERPRISE IMMEDIATELY OR FACE CHARGES.

THIRD - When I called Enterprise - I WAS ASKED IF I WAS AWARE THAT I AM BEING SENT TO COLLECTIONS!

NO WARNINGS ON EITHER #2 or #3

No EMAILS stating any of the above

NO VOICEMAIL stating any of the Above

No LETTER/CORRESPONDENCE stating any of the above

Furthermore- I had TWO MAJOR ISSUES BETWEEN JANUARY 4th and 11th

1. My Pet Died

2. I had COVID-19 (which I told the Lawndale Manager I was exposed to it before the 4th and I was exposed and tested positive)

So when I called I told the Manager of the Lawndale, CA location that I had Covid-19, and lost a Loved one, and I was calling to clear things up (I immediately and successfully paid the Vehicle in full) the Manager took my Credit Card Information and I THOUGHT SHE CHARGED THAT CREDIT CARD BUT INSTEAD SHE CHARGED THE CARD I USED FOR THE SECURITY DEPOSIT! It cleared fine but THAT CARD SHE CHARGED WAS SLREADY SET UP FOR AUTOPAY ON

MY BILLS! So I didn’t know this till today (12th) and it started denying my Autopayments and causing MORE ISSUES FOR ME!

She kept telling me that they are sending a Tow Truck to get the Vehicle.

It gets WORSE - I asked her to please (PLEASE) notify me when the TOW TRUCK was coming so I could clear my belongings out (which included my backup Oxygen Tank, Handicap Placard, etc) and she had the Nerve to to tell me that I can just come down to get my belongings at their Branch!

I don’t have a Vehicle and even told her that I intended to pay it current (Before I was told about GTA and Collections) because I didn’t have my Vehicle back from the Body Shop.

I was treated terribly, and I have contacted their Facebook account which assured me that I would be contacted, which never happened

Accident / ER the day before Thanksgiving (Nov 24, 2021)

I would like a full refund as I had to pay numerous late fees and penalties.

Desired outcome: Full Refund

Enterprise Rent-A-Car ERAC toll charge

I went to Delaware from Nj on a weekend trip. I Spent the weekend and then drove back. I paid every toll in cash. Enterprise is charging me saying I didn’t pay a toll when I went over the George Washington Bridge. Here’s the thing though. I never went over the GWB. Why would anyone go over the GWB to go from NJ to Delaware? It’s in the opposite direction. I think this is a scam. They already charged my credit card. I’m trying to get the money back right now.

Desired outcome: To get my money back.

Enterprise Rent-A-Car Unbelievably unprofessional. Catagorically terrible.

I made a reservation with ENTERPRISE - a MONTH rental for a mid size car. (22% overpriced I might add) The Rental was scheduled and confirmed. I showed up an hour late to the GRAPEVINE TX office for my "appointment" (taking care of my own customers in meetings that went long), and was told, quite flippantly and dismissively, that "because I was late, all they had for me was a mini-van"...A min-van... I objected, andI asked why nobody called me before giving my car to someone else - after all I had a reservation. The untrained, terribly unprofessional arrogant [censored] behind the desk told me "it was not his job" to call me. I questioned if making a "reservation" at Enterprise meant anything, and the same person told me "only if youre on time". I again emphasized I needed a car, and a minivan was not going to work. The Dallas market has countless Enterprise locations, and pressed him to find me a car. (I had to ask for this - it was not offered) He looked me in the eyes and said "I'm done". I retorted, "your done?. What does that mean?" He clearly needed me to roll over and was not accustomed to someone not accepting unprofessional and careless support. Also, during this conversation with the 'frat boy imp' behind the desk, the person in the managers office closed the door during the conversation, rather than coming out and helping. This clearly was going nowhere. So, I left. I Ubered back to my office and called the ENTERPRISE Corp office. I explained my experience at the GRAPEVINE TX office, and they apologized, and kindly and quickly lined up another car to be delivered to my office at 4pm. I was thrilled that the customer service agent was willing to help me out of the mess. I was certainly grateful for the young ladies support. However, at 4:05 pm, the new Enterprise office (KELLER TX office) called me and asked if I was going to "come get my car" ( I thought they did not call customers...?) I let him know, quite respectfully, the reservation states that they were going to drop the car off at my office - that I was tied up with customer meetings the rest of the day and had been told that they would deliver the car. THIS particular clown retorted in one quickly delivered sentence *(almost rehearsed)... "We don't deliver cars from this location, would you like me to cancel. your reservation?" You cant make this up. ENTERPRISE is the absolute WORST business I've encountered in the last 20 years. They are so completely disconnected, entitled, arrogant and dismissive of 'customer service'. They don't care that people make reservations for a reason - and its typically out of neccessity. I will NEVER attempt to rent a car from ENERPRISE again. Incidentally, I spend over 100k a year on Car Rentals in my three businesses. Ive never had this issue with National, Hertz or AVIS. They are pretty good at accommodating me if there are any issues - and actually upgrade me for free if the car I reserved is not available. ENTERPRISE has not only lost the chance to win more of my business, they now have another person that is entirely dissatisfied with their organization and will only warn others of the miserable and unprofessional culture at ENTERPRISE. After these two back to back comical interactions, I am pretty confident that its a company culture issue that enables their employees to act with complete arrogant impunity and unprofessional acumen. So terrible. Save yourself the risk of this - rent elsewhere.

Desired outcome: NOTHING. Learned my lesson.

Enterprise Rent-A-Car Car offered did not match what I have ordered and very poor customer service in general

In April, I booked and paid a car rental at Enterprise Rent-A-Car's website to be provided by the branch at Saint-Roch train station in Montpellier, France from July 12th to July 21st.

As we are four adults travelling with four large suitcases, I booked a Peugeot 5008 or similar. We need a car to travel in Southern France and carefully selected this model, a SUV with extra space but not to big, automatic transmission and good comfort, as we know we had to drive on narrow streets in the mountains.

When I should pick up the car, I was told that they were not able to provide the car with automatic transmission, but only with manual transmission. There were no alternatives. I could accept the car offered or cancel my booking.

I was disappointed about the situation they put their customer, me, in, and as the booking was made in April, Enterprise Rent-A-Car have had plenty of time to prepare for this.

Even though I prefer to drive with automatic transmission, especially when driving in hills and mountains. I accepted the car offered, however also applied for a discount, as I have paid extra to get a car with automatic transmission.

The Enterprise Rent-A-Car staff at the office was not able to provide me that, as they asked me to arrange that with the company, where I made the booking. Which is Enterprise Rent-A-Car’s website. So, in fact the Enterprise Rent-A-Car customer service guy at the branch did not take any accountability for what Enterprise Rent-A-Car have agreed on in a contract, however asked me to contact...Enterprise Rent-A-Car. Strange company!

After having signed the contract, I was handed the keys to the car and was asked to go to the parking house where the car would be handed out to me.

To my big surprise, it was not a SUV like the Peugeot 5008, Citroen C4 Grand Picasso, Renault Espace, VW Touran/Sharan or similar they had prepared to me. It was a MINI-BUS – a Citroen Jumpy! A huge car, or mini-bus actually, with 9 seats. And with a comfort much worse than the ordered category. In fact, it is a van where they have mounted to rows with seats. That’s it. Only aircon for the driver and the one on passenger’s seat. No loudspeakers for passengers, only for the front row (driver). There was no comfort at all for passengers on the two rear seat rows.

I am surprised that Enterprise Rent-A-Car find it acceptable to provide me a car like this which not at all match the car I have booked. And I am even more surprised that I was not told at he counter when signing the contract, where the staff only found it relevant to tell me that they could not provide a car with automatic transmission but only with manual transmission - take it or leave it!

I know the contract says “similar” but I expect that refers to the brand of the car. And that is fine, and as mentioned there are several other brands than Peugeot who makes similar cars, a 7 persons SUV. However, the mini-bus they offered me is not the same category. Attached are pictures of the car booked and the bus they offered me.

I have submitted a complaint at Enterprise Rent-A-Car's website however haven't heard from them yet. However, when a company are not able to offer the service as we have agreed on in the contract, it should not be the customer who chase the company to settle the deal.

Desired outcome: I expect Enterprise Rent-A-Car will compensate for the defective service they provided to me compared with the one I have ordered and paid for in due time.

Hi Carl,

Thank you for your reply. I have now for the fifth time send materials to the e-mail address that you referred to. In August, September, October and November. I am still awaiting a response from you!

No reaction despite several mails tells me that you really don't care about your customers. It is a bug surprise to me that a large company as Enterprise Rent-A-Car don't care more about their brand value. I can't imagine that you find this to be an acceptable level of customer service to be known for.

Looking forward hearing from you soon.

Best regards

Kristian
