eBay refund

Day after making purchase Ebay sent message saying I would not get item and be issued a refund within 48 hours. 10 days later called customer service and told would be refunded in 2 days. Why did Ebay lie to me in their message and only issued refund because I called customer service. Customer service told me Ebay just reached a decision on my purchase but knew day after money was withdrawn from my bank account I would not get item.

They are pathological liars. This is what happens when you farm calls out to third world countries that could care less about customers. Call the number [protected] extension is 66359 That is direct to corporate. I will posting all of the corporate direct numbers on a daily basis all over the internet so people can go right to the source instead of hiding from their customers.

eBay overstock selling through ebay; "luxury cotton sateen" sheets

The sheets arer different from what is described. They are thin and will not last long. They are not sateen.
I always wash new fabric items. These came out of the washer looking like they had been in use for years.
To return them, Overstock wants them in new or unuse condition. So much the better to scam another customer!
I want a refund. I deserve a refund.

Can't get it. I contacted the seller first, as ebay instructs. So now I have no way to demand my money through ebay. As soon as I contacted the seller about the problem The item no longer appears in "my ebay". My complaint is not with ebay! It's with Overstock

One of the worst experience I have ever had in online/ e-commerce site. Please be cautious.
I purchased an item from ebay thru bidding on 01/11/2019 and later noticed that the item comes from china and it would take 2 months to reach. Before item was shipped I contacted seller and cancelled the order, but instead of refunding full price seller returned only actual cost and not shipping.
For this I contacted ebay on 01/14/2019 and spoke to CSR named "Rena", wherein she promised ebay would return the shipping charge of 2.99$ and that return has been initiated, but since I did not receive any confirmation the next day I contacted customer service center again and spoke to "Sam" who also confirmed that "Rena" has initiated a refund of $2.99 and it would be posted in to my account in 3-4 business days. I waited for more than 10 days and on 01/25/2019 when I reached ebay again wherein the CSR connected to escalation team where in one gentleman by name "Ryan" spoke and made this comment "ebay CSR do not know the process and may have made a false promise which ebay may not be able to keep up. We cannot issue a refund" When I told him it was your team that confirmed/ promised he told again we cannot issue refund for promise given by CSR.
I TOLD HIM to cancel my account and also that I would post about my experience on social networking site for which he responded that's fine and you can do as your wish. That's why I am posting this first on the customer site and I will continue to post the conversation in social platform as well.

I am fine losing $2.99, but I cannot except big e-commerce site making false promises and inter team not supporting each other.

eBay deceptive information on checkout

I was interested in buying an item, but wanted to find out about shipping prior to placing the order. The screen indicated to proceed to checkout for shipping information. When I did proceed, it tells me that I have purchased the item and cannot cancel the order. I did not purchase the item. They keep sending invoices. I have contacted the seller and ebay but heard nothing. The item is showing up in my shipping cart. I will not be paying and will never purchase or sell anything on ebay again.

eBay unethical behavior allowing a seller to cancel a purchase after I paid for the item.

I recently won an auction to buy a vintage corvette jacket on E Bay. The purchase was completed and my credit card was billed. The item's auction number was [protected]. However, the seller cancelled my order saying that he had previously decided to sell it to someone else. E Bay complaint representative Kia on 12/23/18 told me there was nothing they could do for me. This is not the way that this on-line internet auction is supposed to work and yet she claimed nothing could be done. I told her I wanted it resolved by my obtaining this jacket in any way that EBay could arrange it in order to uphold the integrity of the process. I BELIEVE THAT E BAY IS FRAUDULENT IN CLAIMING THAT THIS IS A TRUE AUCTION AND THE WINNER IS ENTITLED TO THE PURCHASED ITEM FOR THE WINNING PRICE OF THE AUCTION!

eBay unethical behavior scam

I ordered two apple 6s plus phones at 247.71 each and was sent two Apple 5 phones. I have contacted the seller and only have received credit on one phone. I do not know what kind of bs the seller is conducting but I want my money back as you guarantee. I returned both phones and have the post office receipt for nov 26.

eBay always have trouble signing in!

Cannot sign in, ebay keeps coming back with the oops no match or never ending number codes to prove that not a computer. Have used both email and user name, do not use a cell phone use land line phone. Do not use facebook, I just want to use my user name or email to sign in and 1 or 2 squibble number to prove that I am a real person with an account. I only use at home

eBay lack of product hoover carpet cleaner model fh50900 from four vendors!

This is the fourth vendor from which I have "purchased" the Hoover Carpet Cleaner model #FH50900. I began in October, 2018 and the last order was on Dec. 15th. I am so upset that your vendors advertise the same product over and over again and then, when they don't come, eventually refund my money with no explanation. FOUR VENDORS! The last one was Sean Hamilton, Invoice ID: EBAY35809012731. The one before was from claytonammo_3 - he also refunded my money. Another was from us-plaza who was polite but couldn't fill my request and refunded my money. The first (I believe) was from elite_warehouses who stated that when they checked the product it wasn't in good condition.

That's FOUR DIFFERENT VENDORS WHO FRAUDULENTLY ADVERTISED THIS SAME PRODUCT!

And I STILL do not have a carpet cleaner! I must state here that I am not out any money, but I definitely feel that I have been scammed out of a lot of time and futile worrying!

IF POSSIBLE, I DO STILL WANT THAT PRODUCT! Please advise!

I purchased (3) iphone 6 plus leather case cover from ec-case on ebay. I paid on the Oct 26, 2018 and they mailed out to me on the Oct 27, 2018. AND THAT IS FINAL. I CONTACT EBAY CUSTOMER AND THE SIDE OF THE SELLER. THE SELLER AGREED AND SENT ME COPY OF MY PAYMENT. BUT THE EBAY IS KEEP ON saying something to explain to not stop creating false comment on my account.

REMARKS: this is strongly not recommended. I as a customer felt humiliated and assaulted because this act is to put customer as a thief which is not correct. I felt like Ebay is putting customer in a political situation or oppressing customer when thing doesn't went smooth on their side. I sincerely hope they will change it, otherwise, EBAY is going to turn out into a SCAM site in the next couple of years. Bad comment keep on coming.

Please delete the wrong information in customer account which they felt embarrass and neglected if they have called for assistance. They are really slow on this. Perhaps they have to re-organize and have a meeting regarding customer care and or the normal good standard of a online company.

Why is it so hard to return a item? Fix my toys has said I can return but have to go with ebay for my return. There is no history that I bought anything so how can I get it done? Your web site is made for people who know how to use a computer not old guys like me. eBay yamaha tx802 - #[protected]

According to the Tracking information It appears the item in question has never been shipped. If the seller is having trouble I would appreciate notification. I need tracking information so that someone can be available to meet the delivery personnel. The Fed Ex shippers label information is erroneous. According to Fed Ex the package was never shipped. It is listed as weighing 5 pounds. The piece of electronic gear in question weighs closer to 30-40 pounds.

If he intends upon canceling the transaction let me know. I would prefer to have said item. Perhaps I am being being overly suspicious. But he said that he had shipped thru USPS and the Tracking number is Fed Ex. He also said the post office had returned it to him and he would ship out the next day.

I recieved a slip from the post office today at my commercial unit, when I called they said that there had been a mix up and it came back but was resent. I would like clarification. I don't like the jumping the gun. But my instincts tell me something has gone awry. I guess because I have been in a similar situation before with another Ebay seller. The seller pretended to ship an item, as a pretext to get out of a sell. To resale the item at a higher price. If I am wrong. I offer my apology.
But "Hemrroyc" is not responding to my requests for a tracking information. And around this time of year, getting packages thru the post office is problematic

eBay forced refund

An item I sold was as described. Buyer said item was missing a piece that was not even included in the auction and that did not even come with the item when bought new! I called ebay and they said just because the buyer said it was not as described even though it was, they were refunding the buyer and charging ME for return shipping. The buyer is being allowed to return the item at my expense for something that was not even supposed to be included! When asked for a reversal of decision got a whole run around about how that is not possible, blah blah blah, no one here does that, blah blah blah and refused to change the decision even when agreeing that my item was accurately described, the item complained about was not in the listing description and does not even come with it originally. The item is a USB microphone which does not include an adapter (the item claimed missing) because it plugs directly into the computer with the usb cord which was included and is not the "missing" item being complained about! If the buyer feels they needed an adapter they should have had to purchase one separately since none was included in my auction nor came with the original item. The item does not even need to be plugged in with an adapter since it is powered and run by the computer. I am seriously considering cancelling my business with ebay over this dispute. Where is the backing for good customers! I have had over 1100 sales and this buyer is new but they are getting better treatment than I am. I am very upset and want the decision reversed immediately but am told its not possible. Now the buyer has had the item for over 3 weeks, could have broken it for all I know but I am being forced to accept its return and give a refund when I am totally opposed to the wrongful decision.

eBay purchase of iphone 6s, august 2nd

I regularly purchase items from your website, often weekly. I believe if you look up my account you will see that I have purchased items off your site going back at-least five years. On August 2nd I purchased a IPhone 6s off your "site". Within 90 days the fingerprint recognition stopped working and the phone will not activate? After repeated attempts the seller finally responded to my request for a Return and refund. The seller wants me to send him the phone at my expense for REPAIR. I called Ebay customer service to ask if "you" could intercede on my behalf and at-least get me a shipping label You customer service agent refused, claiming the purchase was over 30 days old? I explained to your agent that as a LOYAL customer for seven years, I did not consider a shipping label or an email on your behalf to be a burden on Ebay. Your agent made it abundantly clear to me that customer loyalty is not part of the Ebay business plan. Your agent decided to lose a loyal customer of seven years, instead of incurring the cost of an email. Shame on you

eBay ebay charging fees on shipping charges increasing the cost of shipping which they don't ship

So Ebay has been making money by charging Sellers fee's on what you charge for shipping. For Example. I sold a item and charge $60 to ship. It actually cost me $78 and some change via UPS to ship a 54 lb box 48 x 12 x 17. Additionally Ebay turned around and Charged me a $6 dollar fee for cost of shipping. That does not seem legal and someone should look into this practice. I was already charge a final selling fee. And now a Shipping fee charge on top of that. They didn't ship or pay for packing supplies. It is getting harder and harder for anyone to make money on Ebay selling unless you didn't pay any money for the item you are selling. Boo. seems very shady. I have a receipt showing I already paid over what I charged but that does not matter. They still increased my shipping cost even further :/

Yup, same thing happened to me. They charge a fee on your shipping charges as if you'sold' the buyer shipping. The fees are unethical, at best, and probably illegal.

eBay unethical behaviour

I purchased an item of clothing on ebay and was sent the wrong item, which the seller denied. After sending more photos they told me to send back item without tracking (knowing full well that items need to be sent back with tracking) and that they would reimburse the shipping fee. They have now claimed they didn't receive the item back. Ebay is now sending me emails saying I have not sent back the item because I cannot mark it as sent as there is no tracking number. I have explained this to multiple people on Ebay and they won't do anything to fix it and the seller has had no repercussions at all for this behavior.

I bought an item on Sept 16th and my visa went through for the price stated.Then I noticed that the price he had on the other items were much higher. But, I felt that it had made his error not me.So, I waited an contacted him after the first time he said he shipped it. He never returned my message Then he put on a new date for it to be here. That passed and I contacted him again.Then he not me cancelled my order and returned my Money I told him NO I paid for the item and don't want to cancel. Within minutes he cancel and said I cancel it.Long story short I called talked with a Ryan. He was very nice but, something should be done about this Do you ever know if these things are resolved or not. It also stated that I did not pay for the total amount stated That is bull I did.People like him should not be allowed to sell. I am still boiling about this. But, I should have but, did not leave him Negative feedback.

I would personally advise not yo buy off Ebay where possible. People are basically free to do what they want to buyers because Ebay does nothing about this kind of thing. The person who ripped me off has also done it to other people as I saw in the feedback section and Ebay won't do a thing about it.

eBay your whole operation

Ebay's entire operation is a scam. Sellers now face no repercussions for their short comings because Ebay pays for return shipping. Sellers merely accept the return with no penalty and continue on their way, while buyers are the ones wasting their time and gas money going to a post office waiting in line for 30-60 minutes.

My return rate, as a buyer, on Ebay has got to be approximately 90% which is pathetic. I even email sellers prior to buying to MAKE SURE I am receiving the proper item. They go so far as to send me a picture of what I'm buying. and then... I receive something different than pictured. It never ends. Ebay protects sellers so that they can keep raking in profits.

Another example...

I buy motorcycle parts quite often. 90% of the time I need to ship these parts back because the seller claims they are in good condition yet they don't work or are damaged and unusable. WASTE OF TIME!

One may say "but you can leave negative feedback..." No! You cant! I've tried this and once I mail back the item and receive a refund, Ebay deletes my negative feed back and allows the seller to restart this process of selling garbage to yet another unsuspecting buyer.

Your company sucks, Ebay!
