sole split open
I bought a pair of black casual easyspirit ladies work shoes for comfort at work and after about one month of wearing them 3 times a week the sole split open. I first started hearing air as I took steps. One shoe split and it made me upset because I spent over $30 dollars for these shoes. It rained today and I noticed that both shoes were split open because my socks got wet and I took off the shoe to take a look and the in sole was coming apart also. THESE SHOES ARE SOLD AT A HIGH PRICE AND DO NOT LAST FOR MORE THAN A MONTH THE MATERIAL AND GLUE ARE BOTH CHEAP! I FEEL RIPPED OFF!

have not received refund for shoes
Todays date is 24Jul08 - I ordered a pair of shoes from the king of prussia mall in PA on 12Apr08 - they were shipped out by UPS but sent to the wrong address somewhere in King of Prussia on 4/14/2008 instead of Blue Bell PA address. I have been trying to get a refund and credit my Discover account since that time. I have been helped by the Easy Spirit Livingston New Jersey store #6117 since that is where the shoes were shipped from. I have talked to corporate and they told me there would be a resolution in 8 business day and that was on 6/27/08 - had to call the #6117 store again to ask for my refund and they called corporate again. I can give dates and names but it just upsets me more. I now have to pay for a late fee on my credit card since I have not been reimbursed for the shoes - which I did not receive.
I bought these boots two years ago, didn't start wearing them until this past month when we got some snow. Today when I was outside shoveling I nearly lost my balance because the snow accumulates on the souls in clumps, sort of like having a few extra heels on the bottoms. Treacherous for me because I'm 77. The model number on the box is CLEARYS02.
sole comming unglued
my husband has had to use commercial glue to repair his easy spirit shoes three times. i know this is not the first complaint, but what i'd lilke to know is WHAT the company is doing or planning to do about the DEFECTIVE merchandis. nataurally this doesn't happen right away, after all you don't wear the same shoe day after day, but after maybe a dozen wearings when this happens you can't even take them back to where you got them in the first place.help
I have worn only Easy Spirit shoes for the past 30 years. They are the only brand that I can wear. I have had at least 8 pairs fall apart. Your walking and the soles just fall off. Easy Spirit refuses to do a darn thing. What can be done about this? They are selling inferior products. Don't we have regulations about this?
Same problem with mine. It has happened with 4 pairs now So disgusted with hardly worn shoes.
Purchased a pair of Setambor sandal type Easy Spirit shoes at one of the Easy Spirit factory stores about six years ago, or so. I've probably worn them only a handful of times as they are not my favorite. They are a bit too heavy to be especially comfortable. Wore them to work today and the entire upper part of the shoe came apart from the sole. There are three separate straps and all three gave way. I found myself using rubber bands to keep the shoe in my foot till the end of the day as there was nothing holding them on my foot. To my knowledge I never got them wet. The uppers are in perfect shape and the tread design on the sole shows very little wear. The shoes are made in China. I know I paid near $50 even at a factory store. Very disappointing to say the least.
mine were made in china and after a few wearing, the sole that come over the front tip just separated on both shoes. Their customer service is very slick and it sounds like they read from a script; no receipt, no returns; even with receipt after a year "the weather, temperature conditions can affect the shoe over which they have no control" therefore no redress...
I have had many pairs of Easyspirit shoes and have never had this problem before. A portion of the shoe is peeling off and looks bad. They were made in China. I am attaching a picture. How do I complain to the company?
I have two pairs of easy spirits shoes not only did the sole give way and separate the material is gone and rubbing away on the shoe it self. one pair is blue and one is tan. I've never had a pair of shoes do that let alone 2 pairs of easy spirits. I thought paying that much money for shoes would help protect for these problems. You can contact me at :this email, Karen Ortel
It is depressing that a company that once enjoyed a pristine reputation would become so lax with the workmanship of their product that they would market a shoe that would literally fall off your feet in chunks. Is the bottom line so important that you would stoop to this level of selling a piece of junk? Apparently so!
I have a pair I have worn only 6 times and the soles came unglued when they got wet. It seems the glue is water soluble. They did not hold up. There is no way to re-glue as the inner soles are a foam type material and the rubber outer sole will not adhere. Needless to say $49.00 in the trash can. I will never buy again. I am so disappointed. Money wasted on bad shoes. I have a pair from years ago and they did not do this. I think the new manufacturer is
using inferior materials. This is an expensive shoe to have them fall apart.
Unfortunately these are the only shoes I have found comfortable enough to wear the entire day. I also have had a dozen pair during the
past two years and have had the sole come loose on several pair. The shoe repairman actually peeled the sole completely off the pair I
use only for house slippers. In addition, the fabric binding (which should be leather) around the heel becomes ragged within six
months. These are not inexpensive shoes and should not be having these problems. Obviously the company could easily rectify these
problems. I would like to know how to contact them.
.

defective shoes
One month old Size 9 walking shoe for women. The bottoms by the big toe are coming unglued. One has already come off. I would like to ask EASY SPIRIT company if they would do something about this. I paid 47.00 for these because the brand name has been recommended as a really good shoe. Thank You! Donna
i want to know why you stopped making the get up and go sneaker. that is only shoe i can wear and my feet not kill me. i bought a pair of the romy and i might as well be barefooted, very uncomftorable after about 30 min. i know they were selling because there are lots of people like me looking for them online
I purchased two pairs of suede slip ons from Easy Spirit and they were at least a size and a half too short.. They were labeled made in China! I have worn Easy Spirit brand for years . I will be looking for a new brand until they make them here in USA! Not happy with product at all.
I have three pairs of shoes that I purchased several years ago that are in their original boxes and have never worn. When I took them out to wear them I found the insides of the shoes were all sticky and gooey and could not be worn. The shoes are as follows:
anti-gravity Essalvador DBRN/DBRN Leather size 9M # [protected]
anti-gravity Eslatern Navy/Navy Leather size 9M # [protected]
anti-gravity Essalvador Black/BLK Leather size 9M # [protected]
I have a pair which are anti-gravity Essequin Black Leather size 9M # [protected] that I bought a year or two before those mentioned above, that I am still wearing and they are fine. I have problems with my feet, so when I find a pair of shoes that are comfortable, I will buy several pairs for future use.
I also have a pair of athletic shoes anti-gravity Esraise white Leather size 9M # [protected] and find that the covering on the tongue of the shoe is coming off.
I have 2 friends that have the same complaints. One has a new pair of what looks like suede that the suede is coming off and they are sticky inside. In checking the internet, I find that I am not the only one complaning of manufacturing defects with Easy Spirit Shoes. ( Easy Spirit Shoes — sole comming unglued )
Anyone with similar problems?
I came on this site looking for any problems with these shoes and was so glad to see your post. I twisted my foot really bad too just slowly strolling a short distance. Caused me to fall suddenly right to the ground. I am still in a walking boot and in pain, it is 5 weeks. I am still seeing a foot doctor. I think these shoes are dangerous and we need to find out hoe to report them.
Has anyone had any problems with Easy Spirit Getoneds walking shoes. The pair I wore
caused me to slightly turn my ankle a couple of times..I did not wear them again until 2 1/2 weeks agoturned my ankle badly this time and as I fell my left arm and hand were brused seriously where
I landed on them. I am in good phyical shape but these shoes I bought as they were like the sketchers
that advertised that they would exercise your calf muscles? the sketchers that resemble the antigrav ones that easy spirit makes have been recalled...I can't wear these anymore as afraid I will break
a few bones..lucky this time...maybe still hurts ...
