DPD UK review: Un professional poor service

Took the day off work to be in for an hour time slot. The driver didn't even attempt to deliver, instead took a photo of my rear garden gate, where there isn't a bell or door knocker, and left saying no one was home, even though they could have looked over the fence and seen me through the window.

Called customer services at 11:58 they said the depot had contacted the driver and told them to re deliver. Later in the day I called again 16:44 and 1 was told to give them more time, even though, on my third call at 18:25, they said that the parcel had been returned to the depot at 16:10 and would not be re delivered, the second customer services person would have known this and decided to lie. They also refused to give me any contact information to complain to.

Still don't have the parcel and no idea when it will be delivered. Can't take more time off work and they won't deliver to my work address.
DPD are un professional and ineffective, they should not be in the courier business.
