Dollar Tree Employee used strong-arm tactics against me while trying to take my groceries to the car.

I have been shopping at Dollar Tree for most of my groceries for eight years after moving to Shaker Heights from Dallas, TX. I am 70 years old with a bad back from surgeries, and severe arthritis in my knees. I usually park right in front so it is a quick dash to my car trunk and then return the cart to the store. I enjoy my shopping trips, because every time I go, Dollar tree has great products for the price. I was at the Chagrin Road store on Friday, September 2 at around 6PM. I had 88.00 worth of stuff-a full cart with many canned goods and jarred goods which makes each bag heavy. As I paid and then started out the door to my car, an employee that I am not familiar with started screaming at me that I am not allowed to go to my car with the cart. No carts can leave the store anymore. She told me to go get my car and pull up to the front of the store. I did that, and once again tried to load up my car. She left the customer she was checking out, and came and physically yanked the cart out of my hands and told me I had to carry my bags one by one to the car. I ended up doing just that, and had to take extra medication because it threw my back out. I am on good terms with the employees there, but this woman was downright hateful! I believe it was the same woman that last week decided that at 6:00 PM the store was closed and threw everyone out even though I counted 5 employees in the store. She was ugly and unpleasant then too. When I reminded her that the hours were until 9:00, she just hollered that "we're closed".

Desired outcome: I would like an apology. I have never been so rudely treated at the grocery store.

Dollar Tree Store manager

As a result of April 14,2022 I quit dollar tree in Del Río Texas due to lack of hours I was promise 25+ hrs pre week being an assistant manager. I reapplied to get a job at the new dollar tree here in Del Rio and was told I wasn’t hire able any more! I have never disrespected anyone or never had any problems! I really discouraged due to not being able to work at my favorite store again! I was never fired or anything .I quit on my own!

Dollar Tree employee additude

I was at dollar tree on west waters ave tampa fl it is next to ollies the cashier was a black woman who was cussing at a customer saying fu this fu that and the line was full of people said the guy was talking bout her he said he was not i am sorry but you do not treat your customers like that a few people walked out cause of her loudly yelling and her cussing it was bad she needs to be terminated if she does it to one she will do it to others.

Dollar Tree Service in Wichita Kansas

On the day of my mothers wedding my mother, aunt, and family friend went to the Dollar tree located at 2949 N Rock Rd, Wichita, Kansas. The employee working that day accused my aunt of stealing and chased her outside to the car. She then pushed my aunt who has MS down to the ground and then punched her in the face. They didn’t steal anything from the store at all.

While this was taking place me, my father in law, and my stepbrother were getting haircuts for the wedding. We get the call saying the police is there so we rush to go check on my aunt. We get there and see my aunt is being tended by the EMT on sight. My father in law and stepbrother ask why the lady inside isn’t in custody and it causes hell to break loose. He tries to go in the store but before he even walked officer Ho with WIchita Police Department started to yell at all of us to get off the his scene. I comply but my father in law was very irritated so I grabbed a hold of him to keep him from doing anything stupid. WPD then tell him he’s under arrest while I’m holding him and then they grab me as well and I said “no what for?” and shook them off my arms. I took one step back with both my hands in the air and WPD tasted me 2 times until I fell. My mother who was there then tried to come to my aid and WPD tackled and held her down with by the neck with their knees.

After we were taking into custody they took the cashier into custody because my aunt is pressing charges.

We will be taking legal actions against all parties we see fit.

Our family was able to push back the time at the venue and when we got out jail my mother and father in law got married.

Dollar Tree online orders shipping and handling no delivery of packages

I ordered online a single item(s) minimum amount on August 21, 2022. I received an email notification on August 24th that the package had shipped and went to tracking on UPS on August 26th to see when the package would be delivered. The notification on UPS tracking stated that they sent it SurePost . Had I known that you were handing over my package to USPS I never would have ordered. They have rural carriers who do my care where they sent things and my lab results have been sent to my neighbors in the past. When you complain to the main office they just stare at you and say its a hard job even though they do not have the workload that major offices have.

DOLLAR TREE shipping is expensive and instead of having UPS delivery the package they handed it over to my local USPS which functions like any government agency under Biden disaster. USPS sent it back undeliverable no warning no attempt to deliver. They never came to my home. I know because I was home August 25th-26th.

So now I am spending hours trying to get help from UPS, USPS and DOLLAR TREE and everyone points the finger to back at someone else. UPS support is in the Phillipines and they certainly take no responsibility and just read the screen if you can actually get a live person to talk to.

Desired outcome: I need a refund or an overnight replacement to my home . Do not send USPS when people pay UPS to deliver.

Dollar Tree Manager Very Rude

On Friday August 26, 2022 at 1:00pm. I entered the Dollar Tree Store #6402 at 42 East Main Street, Amelia, OH. [protected]. I was looking for laundry detergent and asked the Manager where could I find it. She rudely responded I have never heard anyone call it that. I was shocked by her response which was completely uncalled for. I asked her for the manager and she responded that she is the manager. I asked her for her name and she replied “I don’t have to give you my name and you can leave my store. She continued to be rude and speak to me as a customer in a manner that was unprofessional. I’m not sure if she responded to me because of the color of my skin but it felt racially motivated She proceeded to go into the back office and told the employees not to supply her name. Amanda, the assistant manager stated she could not supply her name which I thought was very odd. I was treated by this store manager with disrespect and rudeness which no one should be subjected to. Dollar Tree Disgusting Store

The Dollar Tree located at

630 N Wellwood Avenue Lindenhurst NY 11757

The store is absolutely disgusting it is completely unorganized and product all over. There is garbage all over and under shelves and looks like the store hasn’t been cleaned in years. There is dirt all over shelves that are holding food and they look like they have t been wiped down or sanitized ever. Some of the shelves are not sturdy at all and a complete safety risk to customers and employees. They’re bathrooms are completely cluttered and have a horrific smell and absolutely disgusting. Also the only way to open the bathroom door is with a crow bar.

Dollar Tree Rude and vulgar sales associate patricia

On Sunday Aug. 21st 2022 @ 6.03 pm I was in the line at the dollar Tree on 594 W. Marion Road Greenville S.C. 29617.

I had to listen to the cashier, flirt with a young Gentleman. He was clearly being polite but was not interested. If you pull the tape you can hear her telling him how she stays up all night drinking, to which his reply was he dont drink. He informed her he has a 2 and 1/2 month child and he dont smoke or drink. She keeps telling him she does, but she cutting back and she smokes since she was a child and stated her current age. Again the man was trying to be nice and walk away from her. My husband who was sitting in the car stated the man was shaking his head and commented "what was all that about".

So now its my turn, she kept dropping my sodas on the floor and shaking them up. My purchase was 3.75. I gave her a 20.00 and she struggled to know what change to give me. I told her 16.25 as did the man behind me. For whatever reason she proceeds to crumble my reciept up. I told her I need my change and my reciept. And this woman got really smart mouthed and shoved my reciept IN MY POCKET BOOK, which she had no right to even touch. Then she handed me my change and told me to get out of her store. The acting manager told her to go to the back of the store. The acting manager was already on the phone with another manager who tried to pass this woman behavior off as they are under alot of stress. I told her well the other cashier isnt treating customers rude and hateful. I dont know of any customer that comes into any store and wants to hear the cashier talk to men and boast and brag about how hard they drink and what they do when they get drunk. She was flat out nasty. Pull your tape in the store for this date and time.

And I have never been told to get out of HER store just because I asked for my reciept and change. She continued to mouth off as she walked to the back of the store. my email address is [protected]@msn.com

Desired outcome: I would like to know why this type of behavior is tolerated, and excused. Why a customer like the man before me, and me as well has to endure such filth just because we came in the store to make a purchase.

Dollar Tree Staff needs to be fired

I was in the store on 14069 Emerald Pkwy a mall store employee walks by, bumps into me and then looks at me and says excuse you. When I approached him and told him it was rude, two other employees along with him started raising their voice at me. I raised mine and asked who they were talking to and that you don’t treat a customer like that. I then told my family that we were not buying anything from the store and to leave the stuff they picked up. One of the make employees started walking towards me. How is that ok? I raised my voice but never used profanity. They were very racist, discussing people who need to be fired. If dollar tree thinks it’s ok to have people like that representing their company they need to go out of business

Desired outcome: They are screaming at me to get out of the store and I will be sure that they are fired.

Dollar Tree Most products

Since dollar tree raised their prices by twenty five percent, many of their items cost more than in a regular store! If you look at the sizes of many items, you will see that you are being ripped off. Also, the quality of many of their items is very poor. I bought a large bottle of dish soap, and it was at least 70% water. The candy is in such small packages that the cost per ounce is 1 1/2 to two times a normal price. The canned goods are higher too. Although they have a store close to my house, I am not shopping there any more. I hope more of you will also boycott them.

Dollar Tree Checkout process

I was at your East Meadow New york store on 8/17/2022, I insert my Amex Business card which had $11000.00 available and my $20 transaction did not go through per the Cashier. I instantly reached in my wallet to use another card and accidently insert my personal Visa debit card, transaction was processed on that card. I ask the cashier would it be possible to void the transaction, so I can use my Business Visa debit. She called over Hazel, who said she was the manager, cashier explained to Hazel, Hazel in return claim it cannot be done. I insisted and asked Hazel, why is not possible to void the transaction, so the purchase can be put on my business card, she preceded to tell me I told you before I cannot do it, she eventually admitted that she does not know how to, I ask is there anyone you can call to walk you through the process, she indicated she will not call and disturb her manager because I made a mistake and began to scold me like a child. I left your store and instantly tried to figure out why Amex denied the transaction, still had funds on my card for 11000.00 and a pending charge from Dollar Tree for the amount I paid with my visa card.

Desired outcome: Please fix your credit card machines and train your workers.

Dollar Tree Sales associate zyitrecia at store #6988

The customer service agent was very rude and disrespectful. She allowed another employee to run her register and before the transaction was complete she came to finish it. I asked the other employee who started the transaction to split the payment part cash and part on my debit card. The employee stated that she did not know how to complete the transaction. I told her to put $5 cash and the rest on my card, the transaction totaled $35.67. The transaction was still incomplete so I told her to add $5 cash and she added $10 which totaled $15 cash. I paid the balance on my card which was $20.67. I gave the employee a $20 bill and she owed me $5 change. She cursed me out in front of children and other customers. Only to call the manager or her relative up to the store she came from behind the register wanting to fight amongst many disrespectful comments. She stated that she was the manager and I do believe that there is a code of conduct to work for a corporate company. I feel that the code of conduct was violated extensively. I have video footage of the incident after it went on for an extended period of time. I think her behavior was unacceptable. Video was too large to add to this complaint. Desired outcome: I think disciplinary action should be taken up to and including suspension with the chance for her to complete anger management classes. Especially dealing with the public.

Dollar Tree Store # [protected] Hwy 63 South lucedale Mississippi 39452

I visited this store today on [protected] at 12:13: [protected] I used my EBTcard to pay for my stuff .After arriving home I noticed I didn't have a bag of my groceries containing 2 big cans of spaghetti sauce and 2 $3 canned hams. When I called the dollar tree the lady told me she hasn't seen my bag .I didn't leave the store with it ... There's really nothing else to tell...

To whom it may concern, I latrese was working with a manager joanna 8\11\22. I came to work to do my job performance as I do my performances she say shut the [censored] up don't talk I ask for my check she shoves at me, I work with her my draw short no other workers comes short she says she ain't giving me [censored] this verbal abuse with your manager must stop. She told me to clock out take my checks shoves it at me as if garbage to be throw out that's not how a manger to a proper a care her employees as I doing recovering her am i'm on my shift doing my job as cashier she mad that here current employees not come to work to do their job duties am verbal abuse performance periodically thought out she screams very unprofessionally screams at me in front of customers she tells me I can't have access to any managers that I what to talk about any personal I have family to feed etc issues under these work unconditionally I love my opportunity. Dollar Tree customer service

went to your Winsted Ct Dollar Tree store yesterday Friday August 13th

i was looking for some paprika which i have bought there many times before

while looking i had the urge to use the restroom so i went back near the storage room where 2 employees were talking, i asked one of them if i could use the restroom and got stared at like i asked for a million dollars.the 2 employees talked and decided to let me use the restroom. upon leaving the restroom i encountered one of the employees and asked her iy there was any paprika in the storeroom as there was none on the shelf. she rudely told me that they had not had paprika in a long time. i then purchased 2 other items paid for them and left the store.

these employees need a refesher course in customer service they way i was treated i would think twice about going back.also you should change your signs to Dollar Tree PLUS as i don't see any thing in the store for a dollar anymore.

Desired outcome: said employees should be required to take a course on how to treat customers. the ones who are paying their wages. without HAPPY customers they wouldn't have jobs.
