Dollar General review: Would love someone from corporate to come train these folks so it can become a better store.

We were so excited to have a dollar general on our side of town, and now so disappointed in what we have. The store is dirty. The ice cream cooler has a sign on it Out of Order and the ice cream is just sitting in their melting. Why on earth did they not move the ice cream to another cooler? Way easier to clean up. A lot of items do not have prices on them. I asked about bread price one day and they quoted me over $4 and I started to walk away and then they said wait, let us ring it up. It was only $2.50. Nobody is ever at the register. Doesn't matter what time of day, you always have to pay for your items. They are either in the back visiting, or they have actually walked away from us before to go outside to watch another worker shovel snow.

My last visit 2 days ago, we had to wait at register to have someone come out from the back room... Never looked at us once, just took items and rang them up. Bagged it and walked away. As he walked away, I yelled, thank you. And without even turning around, he said you're welcome. Wow, horrible customer service. So very disappointed in the dollar general. We are hoping that someone from corporate will come to Gillette WY store and help them figure it out. They need training bad.
