Dollar General review: Ericka — manager at Dollar General on Coliseum Blvd, Alexandria, Louisiana

Ericka was so rude. She has been rude many times before, but today was more than usual and in front of other customers. She wants all the customers to use the self-checkout. Sometimes I need to pay with cash and the self-checkout does not accept cash. I waited a long time and called out numerous times for someone. I walked the store and saw 2 employees and called out to them both. They both ignored me after repeated attempts to get them to check me out. An older gentleman behind me needed to check out via a human as well and he called out loudly for someone and he was ignored as well. I finally got Ericka's attention and she rudely stated that she would be right there. I told her I had been waiting a long time. She was just ruder throughout the entire process. I asked her name, and she said Ericka and that she was the manager. I told her she had a manager as well. I go to this Dollar General almost daily and prefer to shop at that location, but I do not want to go back there if she is going to be so hateful and not want to check me out. I never complain about employees, and I know they are probably short staffed, but there was no cause for her actions.
