On today Sunday September 10, 2017 I went into my local Dollar General which is only a few blocks from my home. The worker that checked me put was very nice but she needed assistance because I had 2 items that were on sale but not ringing up for the right amount. she then called the manager I assume. while on the line with the manager they began to make rude comments as if I were not standing there. I told the first lady that she could go ahead and finish my order because I had been standing there for 15mins already. The other worker fail to hear what I had to say...i never raised my voice I just simply told her that the system may not have caught up with the sale..They were clueless about the coupons as well as the digital coupons...the rude one told me that it had to be only digital for the sale to work, which I know is not true...i left the store embarrassed and I will not go to THAT store again...i will go across town before I go back there. I have never had to complain like this before but I feel it is a must that some thing is done. Even though I showed them the ad they would not give it to me at the sale price...i am so upset and confused.
slip and fall
I slipped and fell at the Dollar General located on Glenwood and Newburg in Westland Mi. I told the store manager that was there about it and all she did was apologize and filed no incident report. She didn't even suggest it as if she didn't wont to be bothered with it. The whole right side of my body is sore and bruised. There was only one caution sign up and it was at the front of the store. I was at the other end of the store and the lane that I fell in had no sign in that area. I told here that she needed to put those signs at other ends of the store and she said nothing once again I don't think she wanted to be bothered. I am in the customer service field and I know that there are proper steps that needs to be taken when customers have accidents on business properties. The incident happened on Sept 9th between 8:30 and 9:00 pm that evening. I just want to know what steps should I take before I take the steps of suing which is what I'm trying to avoid. I am writing because your store located at 319 Moursund Blvd, San Antonio, TX 78221 has the womens bathroom designated for employees only. They have taped a piece of paper over the womens sign. I went in there to pick up a few things and my little girl needed to use the restroom very badly. The mens restroom was out of order. One of your cashiers named Adolph Burnall would not let me use the remaining restroom because he said it is for employees only. We tried to make it to another store but she urinated in her pants on the way. I will never shop at your establishment again.

9/9/2017, 7:15-7:30 p.M. approx. Checked out with young cashier. Friendly but, she asked me for a tip. I told her I'm sure she could get in trouble for that and she said she was just kidding. Also, I didn't get receipt. My fault, I didn't notice that til I left. Called store on 9/10/2017 to speak to manager about it. Woman who answered phone said she was acting manager. I ask her if she worked the night before, she said she was there. Told her about my experience and she said she would tell main manager. No apology or disbelief about tip being asked for... This lady I talked to clearly didn't want to be there or deal with the tip situation. No harm done of course just thought DG should know. Very unusual experience.

The cashier today working at store 1183 with the doesn't take direction well and is inconsiderate when handling customers fragile items. I'm a cashier and I would never mishandle a customers items and not show any empathy.treat people the way you want to be treated . The store is messy and the music was so loud I couldn't hear myself think . And you have to hunt down a cashier for help. I told my friends and family not to go to store 1183 cause it's like walking inside a messy child's room can't find nothing crappy customer service. People work hard and spend money for crappy customer service and products they are scattered all about with a shopping experience that leaves u feeling you wish you never walked in the store. Presentation and customer service go hand on hand the store at 1183 looks messy and the cashiers don't greet you instead your on your own wow what a way to have a disgusting impression for customers

I never used digital coupons before. I ask the cashier how did this work? Do I put my phone number first or give him my paper coupons first? He pushes the key pad towards me and said I guess. I didn't get a proper response. I put my number in the key pad and handed him my coupons and he just huff and puffed. As i was looking through the key pad on the credit card machine to see if all the digital coupons where taken of, he said it took it all off ma'am, do you not trust the system, I said no he said well this is not the place to shop then. The store was crowded so i didn't ask for a manager, witch i should have. This store doesn't have very nice people working there. I didn't even receive a have a nice day. No so happy Customer.

As the customer, I was not satisfied for the fact when I arrived it was 9:39pm, I went to pick up some meat & tomatoes, there were 2 cashier's, no one had any visible nametags, on register 1 and register 4 announcing that the store will be closing in a few minutes and that the doors will be locked at 9:50pm. The security guard then announced to all remaining customers to go too register 1 for check out. I went along to grab a few other products then made my way to register one. She turned off her light and then said, "register 4 is open because i'm off!", with an down rooted body language, I then went on to register 4, she had her music on high like it's a dance hall, talking very loudly over the music which is very uncommon being that which I believed to be a grocery store? As she's bagging and throwing the chips, that I picked up, are crushed, in the bag. She still doesn't have many type of name tag on, I had to double bag my bags, I also had glasses in there as well. She just kept complaining about the doors need to be locked and that she needs to get off. As I finished checking and doubling my bags, there was the cashier, without a name tag, was just standing in the way to where I had to swipe my card. I said, "excuse me 3x's", and she refused to move back. She's invading my privacy of my pin code and what i'm paying with. She, the cashier that was on register 1, is just talking really nasty to me, the customer, "I don't care! Hurry lady so I can go home!", I don't understand why her attitude was just out of a sewage tank but that was not great customer service at all. The manager was unavailable. How can this be a business with the rudeness and uncommon courtesy still be open? This was a not great experience for me

I feel there are employees there who should've been let go a long time ago. The Dollar General in Greensboro has a disrespectful manager who should be replaced. The store needs a whole new crew. And I really feel something needs to really be done. The manager let's one employee get away with everything. He sleeps with almost every employee there he even steals for people. He's always late and she never does anything to him. But when another employee does something she flips. She talks to people like their nothing. She has a very smart mouth. I just really feel like she needs to be replaced and he needs to be let go. Beverly Tubbs is the managers name and she needs to be replaced. As well as her favorite Lonze Bryd.

I am writing to complain about my purchase that i made at my local dollar general... i recently made a purchase and i was using some digital coupons also with my survey coupon $5 off 15 the employee hit total before scanning my 5 off coupon she then scanned my coupon and said oh i already hit total it wont take it now and i asked if i could use it on another purchase and she said no that i needed to delete it that it was no longer good as it can only be scanned one time.. this employee was a bit rude and seemed irritated by the fact i was using coupons and caused me to loose my discount... i really hate to complain but i felt very frustrated and upset with how my purchase was handled

I went to shop there tonight and the line was very long the was a young man running the register who was obviously struggling. There was a woman there who said she was training him and then proceeded to tell someone in line that she had to buy new underwear because the ones she wore to work "were scratching her p**y" outloud. A customer then told her that it was inappropriate and to please open another register to which she replied mind your business and wait. This store is managed ridiculously. You can't get down the aisles most of the time because the stock that should be on shelf is in crates in the way. Please send someone to look at this store and the employees cause it's ridiculous.
chip reader/unhelpful workforce
Visited your store to shop on September 5th of this year and the chip reader malfunctioned, stating I had been declined before the cashier could even pick my transaction type. I was not given any explanation and/or at all except by one cashier at 5866 Stewart St. Milton Fl, 32570. It was stressful but I was able to finish my purchases. The next trip I made was onto your store located at 5480 Dogwood Dr. Milton FL, 32570, to make purchases for my job. The same issue except this cashier was surly and so rude that I wasn't broke but I didn't have the time to argue over it (was on my break). Imagine my shock when I received a letter today, September 8th, from my card company stating my account was locked due to suspicious activity. I called in and found out that the suspicious activity was at your store and I was charged about five dollars at the Dogwood store that I hadn't made. So not only did I get disrespected (Dogwood), I was locked out of my card at a time I desperately needed it because of both location's compromised chip reader. I have been advised that if I use my card at these stores, my card will be locked every time.
everpet scoopable litter
I have bought this product for years. I loved the fines stones, lumped well( easy to scoop), odor controlled. Every month I buy 4 containers and it last all month, this month I have already gone thou 3 containers (only the 8th of September), it is so course that it hurts her feet(also more stones outside of litter), isn't clumping " that's right isn't clumping". Stones are bigger and impossible to scoop out when doesn't clump. Not sure if got a bad batch, but please fix back to fine stones, scoopable litter that clumps up, and has odor control. Have tried other brands but my cat likes this brand, so hope it will be fixed soon.

I frequently visit the store over on Archer Rd. In Gainesville, FL and never can get help with the store manager Ann or her racists asst. Manager Tim is working. I live across the street and see the store clearly from my home. It seems every 20 mins the two of them are on a smoking break together. When you go into the store to purchase things you find both of them on the same aisle and can be heard gossiping about their employees which is so unprofessional. Please dont ask Tim a question because he has a smart mouth and is never willing to help. That store has very poor management skills and the whole team needs to be evaluated.

I visited Dollar General store #363 on September 7, 2017 and I was looking for products for my evacuation due to hurricane Irma and asked Rachelle who was unpacking boxes if she could help me find white bagged popcorn because I have a high functioning autistic son who won't eat the cheese kind. She basically lied to me and blew me off by saying they were out without attempting to help me look for the product. I was VERY upset when I found it later because I asked another customer where it was in the store. Stephanie was in a bad mood frowning in front of the customers but she did open a register when it got crowded but her facial expression was unprofessional. We are all under stress because of the storm but I could have gone to ANY other store besides Dollar General and I feel that my business wasn't appreciated that day. Also, I didn't report it but they were selling single bottles of Aquafina water from a case for $1.00 a piece instead of selling the entire case for $4.99 like the other stores. That is price gouging. Thanks for hearing my complaints.

I was shopping at Louisa dollar store in Louisiana mo and I got a phone charger it was placed in the 6.25 spot and after I check out I went through my recite cause was wondering why I paI'd so much and they charged me 1525 for the charger I ask them why and cause I got it from the spot that said 6.25 and they said becaude that is how it was wrung up so I tale them back and we look at chargers first one to help couldn't find the spot so he has another one help and he said it should of be the 8.25 I say OK and he directs me to Tyler and Tyler starts going on about how he can't price match it and how it's not false advertisement and it's just miss placement that's all well the spot he tried to tell me it went said the chargers name and 1ct wich means one piece and the charger I bought is two pieces it has USB and home plug in and on my recite says 6 ac and my charger is 3 ft and if u look at the 10 ft the 4ft it's all marked with cable length the spot he told me where it went was not marked with cable length then he said I should check Barcodes we costumers should not have to check barcodes they should be in right spot o feel costumer should always be right not argued with I go to that store a lot and I feel as I should not if I am going to be talked to like that by employees

I went into the store on 9-7-2017 at 18:26 and this store was so messy that you had to step over stuff and they were putting stock out and not one time did they say sorry or anything but this was ridiculous I do have pictures of it and then when I go to check out the cashier did not even say one word . So I really don't understand why they r building a new store when They can't even take care of the one they have .

purina bella dog food coupon
I had a coupon for $3.00 off purina bella dogfood and store i was at didn't honor it. Manager on duty said they couldn't. Overide price . so i had to buy a different brand of food than what my dog eats plus spend more than expected to spend. It states in you alls coupon policy that you all take all manufacturer coupons. So why was i pretty much forced to spend more . not good customer service at all.

I bought lunchables for my children's lunch and i had to go to the school bc their lunchable was expired.. Do you know how embarrassing that is? That is disgusting your employees should check dates frequently. I used to work at Family Dollar and we always had to check dates on refrigerated foods, i mean i bought it on the 5th of September and it expired 27th of August. I bought 12 lunchables that day and i hope to God the ones they already ate weren't expired also! When I'm in the store shopping seen several food item on shelf that are expired and still on for sale but I would of never imagined they would of sold a cold item after expiration...

Taylor Bryant was abruptly rude to my 15 year old sister. Taylor called my sister a [censor] when she walked in and then proceeded to talk about her throughout the time she was there. When my sister was in line waiting to be rung up Taylor noticed that she was wearing a Charleston Trojan sweat shirt. Then she asked a question, in an insulting way, she said "You know that's a condom shirt, right?"Something needs to be done about this.

My wife and I visited your location at Imperial Valley and FM1960 in Northwest Houston this morning 9/6/17 at 11:00 am and as we were checking out there was a line at one of your registers and I noticed there was a young lady at the register across the store and when I got up to her she looked at me and said she was taking a break and walked off. Keep in mind there was a line at the other register and she was going to take a break. She was quiet rude and I was taken back. We are seniors and we needed to get out of the store and go home. I wonder do you teach your employees to treat the bread and butter of your business to act that way. There is a Dollar General right next door that we frequent as well and we have NEVER been treated that way. I understand loosing my business well neither make you are break you but if you treat enough customers with that attitude you will feel the effects from it. You have a lot of competition out here.
