Very rude employee! She is always on the phone. She is a very rude employee. Doesn't help with any questions you have. She slanders people name with lies and keeps up drama at the store. She seems like she doesn't know how to her job. She has an attitude every time I come in the store. She has poor customer service. I have heard many people complain about her and something needs to be done!

the onsite manager was rude and didnt wanted to speak before taking my money for the items I brought, so finally I spoke and say how are you today. I mention to her that I thought the cashier suppose to speak to the customer first, and I hope the rest of rest of the employees dont act like that in that manner, then after bagging my items she finally spoke with a frown, tnhis happen on feb.10 2018 store#02540, manager christi shelton out of eden nc

On 8/8/2018 we entered the Dollar General store #07820 on Blue Valley Dr. in Bangor Pa., at the register was Diane never greeted the customers upon arrival, we continued to get the few items we needed and approached the register with one older gentleman before us we continued to wait .The man in front of us became extremely mad and started to yell for someone that he was in a hurry still no one came to the register .He went walking the store where he found Diane in the back room with another employee a tall dark haired man with a beard, and told him there was people at the register waiting and at this time there was a total of 4 customers waiting, not an apology or anything and he is the one that came to the register and checked people out and there was not a sign of Diane even attempting to help or apologize for the delay .we were to the point of putting our stuff down and leaving .

The woman working at dollar general on Sam Houston Jones Parkway in Moss Bluff, La. Is not only rude but also incompetent. I use digital coupons and digital receipts.
When I went to get a refund I had my digital receipt pulled up on my phone with the barcode ready to scan. She then tells me that she has to have a paper receipt after talking to her boss, so I told her that I'd go to the library and print it ($1.00 fee ). As soon as I walked in she said that her boss told her she had to have the register receipt and there wasn't anything she could do.
I asked what's the point of a digital receipt if you can't use them. Her response, rudely, was I don't know ma'am.
More irritatingly is I could've printed the receipts that I paid for at the library but my online research said that my digital receipt was sufficient.
I won't be using that store anymore apparently her and her boss are incompetent at their job and can't scan a barcode from a phone or paper, only the original.

I live in Athens Mi. you are the only store in our little town, why can't you plow the drive or clean the walk way? I have talked to the manager she say's she called, but was told it can take up to three (3) days to get your plow guy here.
Why can't you hire someone local to plow? There are a lot of snowplow guys in our town.
The bar and the drug store keep their side walks clear.

I am sending in a complaint for the dollar general store in ecru, ms #09242. I am a frequent customer so they get a lot of my business and money. I needed to go grab a few quick items while I was in the area tonight an since it was raining just a quick in an out an didn't have hardly any gas to go further then what I needed to. So I get to the store at 9:45 to see that the doors were locked after getting soaked. And the sign on the door states closing time is 10PM. I am highly upset I had to waste my gas I didn't have, my time an getting soaked to find out the store was closed early and not be able to get the items I needed from this store while I was in the area so I had to go somewhere else and get my items.

Yes I'm making a complaint about the Ecru Mississippi dollar general store they have been closing at 9:45pm instead of the correct store hours at 10:00 pm there has been a lot of customers not happy about that especially me it's always when a rude assistant manager is there named Jessica McDowall us customers would love to shop there if she wasn't locking the doors at 9:45 pm instead of the regular hours say on the door 10pm some of us customers are there to get things for our babies and food to feed us.

There have been numerous verbal complaints made to this store about their manager & employees unprofessional conduct to their customers. When customers ask about sales not being applied or a customer constructively criticizing their unorganized store, the management or employees will openly argue with the customers and physically chase the customers out, call the police on them OR not ring up their items. This has to stop. Last month it happen to me and the same young lady was working again yesterday and we all witnessed her refusing to ring up an elderly lady's purchase. The employee's reason for not ringing up the elderly lady was because she was "rude" because the elderly complained openly about the store's lack of registers. This was no reason to refuse services. These employees need to be held accountable for their unprofessionalism ASAP. This problem has been reported to Ben Martin on numerous occasions.

Today was the second time I have purchased the Clover Valley Root Beer Soda in the 2.5 liter plastic bottle and had it taste and smell SPOILED. It has a mildew smell and taste to it. I have never heard of soda spoiling, but it definitely does not taste like Root Beer soda. I usually love the Clover Valley Root Beer, but twice now it has left me with an awful taste in my mouth.

I used to shop at the Sunsites AZ Dollar General. Seems like when I go in, the Assistant Manager is there and is quite unprofessional. She is rude and will not help you in any way. When she is at the register she is usually talking to someone on her cell phone and not paying attention to the customer. This is very poor customer service. Also, she is often sitting on the floor apparently shelving items and her rear end is hanging out. It's quite disgusting to see the butt crack and huge tattoo. I will no longer patronize this establishment as long as she is there. I will take my business to the Family Dollar down the road.

My daughter was employed at Dollar General for 2 months and was treated very poorly by one of the male employees there. He made her working there very uncomfortable in that he was very rude and unprofessional. Due to this treatment, she was uncomfortable working with him and came home very upset on two separate occasions due to his treatment towards her. The unfair treatment by him resulted in her resigning from her position.

My cousin was assaulted by a cashier named nessa outside the store while my 2 daughter watched nd your other 3 employes watched nd then threaten my 12 yr old daughter. Since when does ur whole night shift employees assault your customers on the clock wearing uniform representing ur store i need someone to call me back regarding this incident if not i will call my lawyer and they will get in contact with whoever is in charge of taking care of tht store. My daughter is scared to shop at dollar General my I have everything on recording.

I was at dollar general on Castle Hayne Rd earlier today to make a quick run before work when I heard Bernard telling another customer he fired Arthur "for closing the store by himself". I shop at that particular dollar general often so I knew who he was and who Arthur was. I found that very disgusting, unprofessional, and degrading for Bernard to speak about another employee like that to a customer. I assume he knew the customer because after Bernard said it he laughed then looked around saw me and they both walked off. I honestly don't understand because not only once but at least twice, I came into that store late and Arthur was there alone. I remember one particular time Arthur was there alone and looked exhausted, I asked "why are you alone? You look tired." he said "its okay, I'll be fine". Not one time did he say anything negative. I just found it unethical for Bernard to speak about some one he fired and act like he was proud of it, especially when I've seen Arthur alone a few times.

L'Oreal hair products are supposed to be two dollars off thru 01/08. I went in to purchase these items and all of they had no hairspray on the shelves, just one of the styling products, and two of the shampoos that were on sale. I went to another Dollar General and guess what? I'm not kidding, they had the same amount of product out as the first DG I went to, the exact same ones. I know they are waiting to put those out until they go off sale, and L'Oreal has new packaging on these shampoos and conditioners, I know they are waiting to put those out until the day that the sale goes off. This is total fraud.

Store number #14147. I have been coming in this store almost every single day scence it has opened I have never stole anything. Every single time I come in I am followed around by the same lady and am accused and embarrassed in front of a bunch of people for stealing I have even opened my purse to show her that there isn't anything inside I spend money in there every single day almost I feel discriminated against because maybe I don't dress nice or something so I'm followed around and this lady is very rude her name is davinci

It has been brought to my attention that all these little Dollar General stores recently opened in small towns are not accepting what we call County Chamber Bucks. If you don't know what Chamber Bucks are, they are basically checks issued by the city or county's Chamber of Commerce to be spent in businesses in that specific County or city. Keeping your dollars local and supporting the local economy and citizens. These Chamber Bucks are often purchased and given as gifts, bonuses or prizes. They are just like a paper check and are encoded the same and paid through a bank account of the Chamber of Commerce, just like a personal check. These small communities, ours specifically I know worked very hard for Dollar General to be able to come to our community. I'm told by previous employees that "Corporate" has told employees they are not to accept Chamber Bucks or they will be terminated. I'm also told that our community's Chamber president has been round and round trying to explain this simple concept of Chamber Bucks and the fact that they are essentially a paper check just like any other paper check. The fact that the community is not able to use these in a store in our community that worked so hard for the store to be in is nothing less than a slap in the face of this and other communities. This is the first forum I've come across, but this will not be my last communication about this issue with this policy. I will continuously be emailing DG Corporation until I have a satisfactory response, as well as blasting on social media and will also be contacting the local investigative news station. This is unacceptable and if need be a community black out/boycott of Dollar General can be organized. We are a small tight-knit community who can fight by spending our dollars elsewhere in OUR community.

The cashier was being really extra with every customer I guess he was new but it was at a level that it was irritating the customers bc it was taking double the time with him being unnecessary. The few customers in front of me had started the interaction normal but by the end had become visibly frustrated. When It was my turn I was sure to be very patient after holding my heavy basket and items for 10 mins ( I'm 4 months pregnant) when I went to swipe my card, the chip reader does not always work. I was trying to explain to the cashier about how I visit this store on a weekly basis and I know you have to put in specificlly 3 times before it will ask you to swipebit but instead he SCREAMED over me instructions and how he needed to reset his screen. Not only did it delay things further but it was inappropriate how he decided to scream at a customer. There was already 7 other people angry waiting in line and when it finally went through I took my stuff and left while he was trying to explain his survey to me. He seemed angry when I brushed him off. It's not so nice when it happens to you

The Dollar Store in Rickman, TN is a disaster. The store is always a MESS and has stock carts full of stock sitting around in the way. Nothing is organized and it looks so junkie in there all the time. The employees are usually nice but they stand outside and smoke in front of the entrance and you have to walk through cigarette smoke to get in. Employee appearance could use some work too and they do not need to be talking and telling their personal business to the customers or with other employees while customers are present either. The store needs a good manager to get it cleaned, organized and looking better. The store is a huge plus for the Rickman area and it is always busy. Please clean it up!

At the GG store in the small town of Lewisburg Ohio a manger threatened to call police on my 43 year old mentally challenged brother for eating a piece of candy in the store before my 83 yr old father had a chance to pay for it. My brother has done this in that DG store and the one in nearby Brookville Ohio for years, even though we try to get him to stop. We always pay for it, and the rest of the employees and managers have always been very understanding and friendly, but this fellow was apparently rude, and we fear what a police call could escalate to. I think someone higher up in the DG chain of command should have a talk with this manager, and I myself am thinking I may need to myself. I wasn't there, and I don't even know the guy's name, but he's causing grief over a 50 cent piece of candy that gets paid for anyway.

There is an employee of the dollar store located in Pierre part, La. Her name is Marcy. Just recently my fiancée was rushed to hospital by air med because of liver failure and this employee, Marcy is a relative of his. She has been telling other customers and co workers that I tried to kill him. Several other dollar store employees as well as customers have came by my job or either called me on the phone to tell me these horrible things that Marcy has been saying. I am a very loyal customer at the dollar general store here in my hometown and I am hoping that this matter will be addressed. This is slander and I do plan to follow up with the sheriffs office as soon as tomorrow. I hope that you can assist me in resolving this matter as it is not the business of an employee to go around making false accusations on a customer, especially when she doesn't personally know me. She has also told her co workers not to accept checks from myself or my daughter yet we are all on the same account as my fiancée. Thank you for your time,
