Delivery for domestic parcel is for 2 days but now has turned into 2 weeks nightmare.
Nov 28th parcel out for delivery, waited until 7pm when received email that delivery was delayed. No reason given.
Called back on Monday dec 1st, was told Truck broke down and promised delivery would be made Tuesday dec 2nd.
Waited all day for delivery Monday dec 1st, no delivery.
Waited all day Tuesday 2nd dec, no delivery. Was pretty upset wasted another 2 days and no update from DHL. Called status update "delivery delayed", no reason given.
Called 9am friday 5th December, waited on hold 50 minutes.

Was told DHL can't find packagae at depot, that the shipping tag ma6 have gotten detached, couldn't find parcel.

Had seller provide photo of parcel on Friday 5th december.

Sundsy 7th December, DHL notified parcel out for delivery but then received notification that the driver couldn't gain address to property.

In my opinion, driver refused to get out of truck to look for flat number and ring buzzer as we live on a block of flats in large building that has landmark status.

Now, today, parcel status shows delayed.

Have tried calling DHL UK e-commerce number 6 times, call gets dropped, agent is dropping call if call takes longer than 5 minutes.

Desired outcome: Get package delivered with signature without having to wait another week

Just finally spoke with UK eCommerce customer service. Says DHL Runcorn depot is still having "operational issues". Unable to say when parcel will be redelivered this week, status of parcel is "delayed". Asked why driver couldn't get out of truck to look for flat number and ring buzzer, no reason given. Asked to let driver how disappointed we are with waiting again and then the driver gives an excuse that they couldn't gsin access to the address.

Delivered finally dec 9th before noon. Another depot DHL is helping out the besieged DHL Runcorn depot.
