I am a 57 year old college educated female that has had a p/c for 12 years, but I feel like an idiot right now. I was reading a news article (CNN) and noticed to the side a story from a "mom" that lives in a town 30 miles from me about fantastic inexpensive teeth-whitening. Her piece was very "down-to-earth" and believable. You order just 2 free trials and pay a very small shipping fee to get snow white teeth. I fell for the SCAM, entered my credit card info, had second thoughts, and clicked on my bank account. In less than one minute, the $1.95 shipping plus $59.95 had been taken from me. I called my bank and was told the charges were pending and nothing could be done until the charges went thru. I called Dazzlewhite and the thief said I would have to return the product, get a tracking number (which requires paying EXTRA postage) before I could CANCEL or get a REFUND! All of this took place in less than TEN MINUTES. You also have a deadline to get it back to them or you'll still be charged!

What kind of country is this? DO NOT ORDER THE FREE TRIAL FROM THESE CROOKS! If this product was so good, they would not stoop to scamming and stealing from honest folks. NEVER AGAIN will I fall for such CONS on the internet! If you order this stuff, you will be sorry and like me...feel like a fool!

My story above (scam, theives, liars) only gets worse! Now they are sending me emails pretending to be the "good" guys to get more personal info from me! Can you believe this? I do believe they change their product name frequently to keep the scam and money flowing. I've found many complaints about products that sound exactly the same, but with other names. Such as: "IvoryBrites", "Max White Teeth", etc. It was confusing to me why I did not find more Dazzlewhite stories. If you Google it, you will find pages of websites that sell/give free trials. Look on the right side of the page where you'll find it listed also under Target, BizRate, & other well known businesses. Click on them...they do not have such a product! It's shoes, clothing with "dazzle" or "white" in the description!

At one point today, there were THREE ads on this page, YES, this page for DAZZLEWHITE. All of this blows my mind. I will say I've learned a big lesson that, God as my witness, will never fall for this trap again. I will say these characters have learned how to get rich fast thanks to the trust of other folks. Please keep the warning going...I'm usually skeptical about even small things, but not anymore. This is sickening to know what some of our country has stooped to.

I sent my 10th email to Dazzlewhite today. As I've said before...these folks are making mega bucks from honest, trusting people. They are a SCAM, CROOKS, LIARS; no better than bank robbers in my opinion. You MUST cancel your bank accounts; the charges will not stop, no matter what you do. I know it's a big pain to do this, but I personally cannot pay these theives $60 every 3-4 weeks for nothing. You can call, email, chat online, return the trial sample unopened...the charges will not stop! Also each person you speak with will promise you no more charges & refunds. Read all the complaints & comments. I have not found ONE that has gotten their refund & all charges stopped. I thought mine was after cancelling my cc, but 3 weeks later on my NEW cc, there it was $58.76. I do not have any of their stupid scam porduct...returned it same day it arrived certified mail, unopened. We must stop these crooks before they leave the country for good. They are using many addresses & names...Dazzlewhite, Ivory Brite, Maxi White, EZ Bright. That's why it's so difficult to stop them. The "mom" with many names that only paid shipping charges for the free trial just happens to live near you because your IP server lets them know where you are online. Very clever, don't you think? It certainly has dooked a lot of very educated citizens, myself included. Please tell anyone that has fallen for this & feels like a fool to please post their complaint. It will help all of us to stop this & possibly get some $$ back!

To SMARTBOI96: I wouldn't hold my breath that you came out without being scammed just yet...I canceled everything as requested, returned product within 14 days of placing order (certified & unopened like I was told to do), and even closed my credit card account, contacted my bank within 10 minutes of placing order, and opened a NEW cc acct after 3 weeks. Guess what? They charged me $58.76 on my NEW cc acct 3 weeks AFTER they signed for my unopened "trial pkg" sent certified mail. Read all the terms you can find...these crooks are scam artists, no matter what they say in an email, online chat, or live on the phone. My bank had to get them off of my back & out of my $$$ when I filed a formal dispute with every detail, email, online chat, and a copy of the folks around the globe that took the time to complain on this website. Maybe you are not one of countless others that did everything in the "terms" and still got charged, but I would keep an eye on my bank account. Read the number of folks that never received a "trial" product to return or got it after the 14 days had pasted. What are they supposed to do? If this product is so great, why do they lie and cheat to keep posting their ads?

To DJ64:
I found the number for you to try and cancel the Axis Wellness: [protected]. Hope this helps, but keep checking your bank statement regularly. I was told by countless online chats, phone calls, and emails that I would receive full refunds, and all "memberships" canceled. But they were all lies. I had to cancel my cc acct and dispute in writing to my bank before these scam artists stopped taking my $$$. I still check it daily, even though this nightmare began in May. Good luck!

To Addie M #1, 2, & 3: I know most of us on this complaint board admitted to being too trusting, and some (including me) acting very foolishly by giving you our personal financial info (which you certainly wasted no time taking advantage of)...but in the last ABOVE THREE comments about how to stop you from robbing us of even more $$$$; you have so cleverly changed your name and phone number! If that doesn't shout SCAM ARTISTS, I do not know what does. Look folks...the company is suddenly called DazzleSMILEpro (instead of Dazzlewhite Pro) and the correct original phone number is: [protected], not [protected].
Addie, I am sure everyone that placed an order for a "free trial" paying merely the shipping charge would much rather have their $$$$ returned, and you can keep YOUR CONCERNS. This website would not exist if you had a good product and ran an HONEST business.

THANK YOU ANATHEMA!

I could not have said it better myself...if you scroll back to the top of page 1, you'll see I started this "complaint" discussion in May. I hate that so many folks followed in my footsteps, but I did find out I was not the only TRUSTING person left on this planet. Without a doubt, there are probably thousands more that have not taken the time or do not want to admit they screwed up by giving these scam artists their personal info. I despise anyone that takes from others dishonestly rather than getting a "real" job. I read these comments daily...many say the same things I did (how do they sleep @ nite, would you like this done to your family member, etc). A big puzzle to me is why GOOGLE prints these complaints day after day for months, yet continue to place their Dazzle ads on this same page time after time! I guess to some $$$ is $$$$ no matter how you get it. But what goes around, comes around.

Att. Andrewlexington
I started this "blog" when I was scammed in May, 2009. Go back to the the first page to read the first complaint. What else do you need to do? First these crooks are fantastic liars...will say anything to get you off the phone or online chat. I did EVERYTHING within minutes of ordering, returned my product registered mail unopened within 30 minutes of it arriving in my box, talked to several reps, emailed, requested countless times for order to be canceled immediately, called my bank & canceled my cc...guess what? Three weeks after I got my NEW cc, they charged me AGAIN! I confirmed with the USPS that the pkg had been received by them, along with hundreds the same day as mine.
You need to contact your bank asap, tell them your card was stolen, and cancel it. Some folks have had to switch banks. I'm telling you this can turn into your worse nightmare. By the way, they are pulling this scam all around the world, not just USA. Good luck, watch your bank acct DAILY, and don't believe anything these thieves tell you.

ATTENTION: Carolyn Y., Stellaa, A. Peachie, Sharon Kopecky...

Do you not ever feel any guilt because you are choosing to take money from innocent, trusting folks that have no idea the nightmare they are stepping into? There is no doubt in my mind that children and elderly people are having to "make do" with less food, clothing, and many other items that they need because of your scam. Innocent little kids and senior citizens that can't hurt a fly doing without because you refuse to find a job that doesn't rob, cheat, or steal from others that have never wronged you in any way. How do you look at yourself in the mirror? Like the person you see?
God has a special place in hell for thieves like you. God doesn't pay every day, but He always pays. Think about that when you put your head on the pillow tonight.

I also signed up for a free trial but after putting in my credit card information... I canceled my order. The charges were even more then quoted and my bank will not take off the charges... I was even given a bogus number on the bank statement. I have a return address of "Dazzle Smile ", 22100 E. 26th Ave, #100 Aurora, CO Co 80019.
Why wont our banks do something about this? I am livid ! There should be a huge law suit ! What can we do to gather all the victims? Any ideas?

This company is also premium white and will give your card details to its sister companies and sign you up for their products to without you agrreing to it. The master company is Varimi LLC. Google this name and read their Premium white terms and conditions... they are completely different from the terms and conditions of the one on the website that you order from but does explain EXACTLY what they will do and this ties in with what has happened to me and like so many others falling for this scam.

Ok Yes, add me to the list of being scammed,
I'm from New Zealand,
I noticed the postage came out, then 2wks later the $118.90 has come out,
still haven’t received any product.

I have cancelled my CC, My bank says I can’t do anything until, the ‘receive within 30days postage time is up’ and then I have to send product back under track and trace along with a cancelation letter,
In the meantime they said to email them, also, to cancel,
here is where I’m stuck I just can’t seem to find an email or any other legit contact for them, can anyone help please?
HEALTHSMILE is what the postage came out for,
and then the following charge was PRISTINEHLTH

I live in the UK and we are in the middle of a series of postal strikes. Consequently the so-called samples (2) arrived well after the time allowed for the trial and return period. I returned the first sample to the UK address from whence it came on the day of receipt after being alerted to these stories, called the helpline and obtained a cancellation number. I have heard nothing since except I was charged £7.69 for an envelope which only had a first class stamp for 32p. The second package arrived a few days later on a Saturday from the USA and I re-posted back to the USA the following Monday by airmail signed for delivery. I am now on holiday in Asia and a charge of £54.06 was made against a new Mastercard (Virgin Money / MBNA) I had used for the free trial. The balance of credit available on the credit card was £54.06. How did they know that? Worse still when I went back to the web-page to try and see these so called terms and conditions I could not find them and then a Pop-Up appeared thanking me for my new order which I had certainly not agreed to. I have talked to the credit card billing disputes dept. and they say they are powerless to do anything and are not allowed to block any charges that these scammers put through. If I cancel the card they can still put charges through for the next 6 years and MBNA refuse to do anything about it except take me to court for an unpaid account even thoughI pay off the full balance right now. I have sent details of all these complaint pages to the BBC "Watchdog" programme hoping they will take up the cause. Also as Sir Richard Branson owns the "Virgin Money" MBNA Credit Card I hope he will take notice and do something. The Bankers certainly are not going to do so. Go thou and do likewise.

This does suck, I put my information in for a free trail not realizing they were going to charge my credit card after the trail period.$87.62 for a little crap tube of whitening gel. My teeth are perfect condition with maybe a little stain but not enough to need this product at that price. What a complete rip off, and I was ripped off. Hopefully I won't be so stupid next time, there better not be a next time. I called Customer Service at Dazzzlewhite and they sent me a cancellation notice ia email and also told met to put the original order on the package and return it for a refund. I hope they honor what they say. I am so disgusted over this. These companies should be ashamed of themselves and how their policies are misleading.

Yes i was bloody taken by this scam and I'm furious. It goes without saying that you should never cross an angry law student! I'm all for legal action against this scam! This is international fraud. I'm aware that this has effected many countries so i would be interested in co-ordinating a world wide concurrent class action suit. We would need representatives in each country that could compile all information and complaint testimonials relevant to their respective country. The power of this information combined is enormous! On its own, individual complaints will get lost among st the rest of individual complaints. Once we have a global indication of the extent of this scam we can forward all our collective information to each and every trade organisation. Next, we can obtain media attention. Anyone from Australia will be aware of A Current Affairs, a program which seeks out and exposes these scams on television. I can work on Australian media however, representatives of the USA, New Zealand, UK and any other nation would have to employ their own media coverage (although i will try and help).
I wont lie this will be time consuming for anyone who dares take on these ### If you have enough rage over such an abhorrent scheme, a scheme which i have read has ripped off money from a breast cancer charity, then please send me an email.
Please bare with me if i take a while to reply as i am researching the most effective means of countering these ### and not just shutting them down for good, but to make them an example of how the public has had enough! and yes, one person can make a difference.
You will rue the day you met me dazzle white/Brite- smile ...

email me; scamsexposed@hotmail.com

Ps; ignore the regurgitated response from apparent "representatives" of this company. The same drivel has been posted next to any internet complaint.

Pps; i will be posting this same message on every and all sites where i find complaints, please feel free to copy my post and do the same. Spread the word, enough is enough!

You agreed to a negative option contract when you placed your order - it was stated in the terms and conditions of using the website.

ADVERTISEMENTS – from the Federal Trade Commission website:

The appearance of ads in media outlets that you recognize - like your local newspaper or radio station - is no guarantee of the legitimacy of the company behind the ad.

FTC has an article on it
http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/pubs/consumer/products/pro16.shtm

Trial Offers: The Deal Is in the Details
Chances are you've gotten offers to try a product or service through a "free trial." Companies use these offers to sell a variety of items, from books and CDs to videos, magazines, hosiery and Internet access. But as part of a trial offer, a company also must tell you if any conditions are attached to the deal.

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) carefully monitors the marketing practices in this area and offers this information to help you make wise purchasing decisions. Be a savvy consumer: read the fine print and ask questions. Trial offers can be a great way to try new products or services without making a long-term commitment to a membership, subscription or extended service contract. But by accepting the free trial offer, you may be agreeing to buy additional products and services - if you don't cancel.

What Does "No Risks or Obligations" Really Mean?
A company may claim its free trial offer has no risk or obligation for the consumer. And that may be true, but only if you take timely action to avoid future obligations. For example, you may have to contact the company to cancel during the trial period to avoid receiving additional goods or services or to pay for what you've already received. By not canceling, you may be agreeing to let the company enroll you in a membership, subscription or service contract, and to charge the fees to your credit card.

How Conditional Trial Offers Work
Here are a few examples of conditional free trial offers:

A company offers you an introductory package of free books, CDs or videos. If you accept the offer, you may be agreeing to enroll in a club that will send you the products and bill you until you cancel.
A company offers you the first three issues of a magazine for free. Unless you cancel after receiving the third issue, you may be agreeing to a one-year subscription that is automatically renewed each year.
A company offers you free Internet service for 30 days or 700 hours, whichever comes first (30 days = 720 hours). Unless you cancel within the 30-day period or after you use the 700 hours, you may be agreeing to pay for continuous Internet service.
A company offers you a free pair of pantyhose. By accepting the offer, you may be agreeing to receive a second pair as well. You also may be agreeing that, if you keep and pay for the second pair, the company may ship you a third pair. This may continue until you tell the company to cancel your account.
Make Sure You Know Who's Selling What
Sometimes, you call a company for one reason and at the end of the transaction, you may be told about a trial offer that another company is offering. This is called upselling. If you receive such an offer, pay close attention to the terms and conditions. Make sure you understand who you're dealing with and what you're agreeing to. By accepting the trial offer, you may be agreeing to let the company you called in the first place give your credit card account information to another seller.

If you don't cancel during the trial period, your credit card may be charged by the second seller for the product or service offered for the trial period. If you don't recognize the seller, you may think the charge is an unauthorized transaction. In fact, by accepting the trial offer, you may have agreed to pay if you didn't cancel before the trial period ended.

It's The Law
According to the law, companies must clearly and prominently disclose the "material" terms of their trial offers before you give your consent. Material terms may include:

the fact that by accepting the trial offer, you're actually agreeing to be enrolled in a membership, subscription or service contract or paying for additional products and services if you don't cancel within the trial period;
how much time you have to cancel before you incur charges;
the cost or range of costs of goods or services you'll receive if you don't cancel during the trial period;
how to cancel during the trial period;
whether you'll be charged a non-refundable membership fee if you don't cancel within the trial period;
whether fees will be charged automatically to the credit card you used to buy other goods or services.
Protect Yourself
Trial offers are promoted through all kinds of media: newspaper and magazine ads, TV and radio commercials, direct mail, and the phone and Internet. In print ads and offers, the material terms may appear in fine print as a footnote at the bottom of a page, or on the back of the offer. Read the whole offer carefully before you decide whether it's a good deal for you. When offers are made orally - whether by radio, TV or on the phone - listen carefully to the message. If you don't understand the details, ask the caller to repeat the terms and conditions as many times as it takes until you get it. If you're not satisfied with the responses, consider taking your business elsewhere. Never give in to pressure to agree to a deal.

Here are some questions you may want to ask the seller:

Is the free trial offer related to a membership, subscription or extended service contract?
Do I have to contact the company to avoid receiving more merchandise or services? If so, how much time do I have? What is my deadline?
Who do I contact to cancel? How do I cancel? By letter? By phone? By email?
Will I get other products with the free item? If so, will I have to pay for them or send them back if I don't want them? How long do I have to decide before incurring a charge?
How do I stop getting additional merchandise or services?
Is there a membership fee? If so, is it refundable?
Will you automatically bill my credit card for anything?
Who is offering the trial - you or another company? What is the name and address of the company?
Where to Complain
If you have a problem with a trial offer, try to resolve it with the seller first. If you're dissatisfied with the response, contact your local Better Business Bureau or local consumer protection agency.

The FTC works for the consumer to prevent fraudulent, deceptive, and unfair business practices in the marketplace and to provide information to help consumers spot, stop, and avoid them. Yet another taken in by the mom's story. But I didn't see any whitening results so sent it back only 5 days after receiving. Got RO number and sent back insured and tracked. They received the returned product and STILL charged my CC. My CC company called me with a fraud alert for their charge. I explained I had the proof the company had received the returned product and should not have charged my card. The CC company informed me that they have so many complaints on this company. They said the only way we can keep this company from repeatedly charging our credit cards is for the bank to close out the credit card that is on file with the company. How many times do we have to get burned by these types of companies before we stop sticking our hands into the fire?!

I called about my CC company about all of these affiliates, like VHACCESS, MYDIETID.COM, BEUTYCLUB etc. who charge fees off of the Dazzlewhite scam. I was told that I have to dispute every single item on my statement and then notify them if the charges appear again. I wanted to change my card number or suspend charges to stop these crooks but was told these actions wouldn't help. Bank of America would still keep allowing merchants to charge until I undertook actions to stop the charges. The BofA rep says that charges would just roll over to a new account number if I tried that tactic. How frustrating! I wonder if I can pay the balance, which is considerable, and close the card account. And what is even more of a pisser are the foreign transaction fees.
Can anyone stop these blood suckers?

I was sucked into this scam as well. I was told to return the product and they will "eventually" refund my money. My account was automatically debited for $87.64. So much for the free trial. Never again, will I order anything off of the internet. I feel so stupid. They said they would e-mail me an address to mail the product back, but so far I have received no address. I am going to my bank today to see what I can do.

I cancelled this several months ago and all of a sudden I get a charge for $7.01 (with a .06 foreign transaction fee from my bank) and then a charge for $2.96 (again with a foreign transaction fee). When I called the rep told me that I was "automatically signed up for" these other free trials when I signed up for Dazzlewhite and that, since I hadn't cancelled them, they were charging me for them. The names of the free trials were Elitepack and Comprehensive Weight Loss. I never received anything from either of these companies. When you dispute it, though, you're told that it states in their policy all this BS. Who wants to spend a lot of time trying to get back $10? That's what they count on. This is immoral, unethical, and should be illegal. I'm looking forward to filing a complaint with someone who can do something. It makes me sick!

The owner name of these dazzlewhite companies is Jesse Willms his personal phone number is 780. 498. 1624. I did some research and found out who he is. I called the number and his associate answered. I told him I was a customer that was going to complain to the ftc about his fraud. He said that thee is nothing anyone can do... SUCKER!

Call this guy up[. spread this number around and call, call, call 24/7. Drive him nuts before he changes the number.

GOOD LUCK.

PS. I also did file a complaint with the ftc. Keep watching your statements, you will continue to get charges from all sorts of fraudulent companies. The bank says you have to cancel each one. Just tell the bank you did cancel each one and you want another credit card number. If not. tell them to close the account and you will ONLY pay those charges that are legit.

Cancel your cards, thats all I can say... you will have a new card in 7 to 10 days and it is really the ONLY safe way to keep them from getting more of your money. Boy what a why to learn a lesson, I knew better but did it anyway. Never again, thats a shame because they are losing business for legit companies out there...BUT NEVER AGAIN WILL I TRY ANYTHING LIKE THIS> cancel your card and get a new one.

Yes! I read that SAME CNN article, and I am a fool to believe that if its apart of CNN article, then it must be okay. I ordered both products and I could only get $40 of the 79.95 fee from the Clean Whites product back, and the Dazzle Whites, I had them charge me $87.62 and they won't credit my account for up to two weeks! I had an over draft charge because I didn't expect the money to come out since I CANCELED my enrollment a WEEK before the deadline. So Even if I get my money back from them, I am still out 31.00 for the fee and 39.95 from Clean Whites...Absolute BS. The way they operate is so shady. You can't trust anyone, and its really too bad. It use to be that you could trust companies. You can't afford to help anyone anymore and you surely cannont afford to splurge on yourself. I feel like an idiot, and I am going to investigate filing a compaint with the Better Business Bureau!

Yes Dazzle White got me too. They get your credit card for a $1.95 trial and then lay it to you. I called for a return and they said they will stop charging my credit card and send the unused portion and any new received product. I will receive an E-mail within 24 hours with the info. NOT! I never got an e-mail and no Return authorization number or where to send it. Can we stop these thieves? I can't afford 80+ dollars monthly for some chicken ### pens to whiten my teeth. I have called my credit card and I am stopping any payments.

I have also been a victim of this 'dazzle white' scam!
I have tried calling all the phone numbers given and none of them are connecting for me! I am very frustrated as there has been over $200 of unauthorised payments being debited from my credit card! I have been to the bank and changed my credit card number and they have still managed to debit money from my new account- a number they were never given! I have now sent back all products they have sent me and enclosed a note insisting that I receive no more of the product and that my contract or order listing be canceled immediately. I never committed to any supply apart from the free trial of the product.
I am in Australia and find it very frustrating not being able to contact these thugs. I will now be canceling my credit card altogether. I do not know what to do about canceling the whole thing with this company as I fear that just sending the product back with a note is not suffice. I want my money back!

No matter what happened, contact company and let them know that you were aware of the terms of enrollment, cancelled within the 14 days and were shocked you were charged further. Demand a refund and let them know if you do not receive a refund, you will be forced to file fraud chartges with the bank. They play dirty, so you play dirty, got it. They will refund. I recommend cancelling bank account after refund. It's stressful but take a deep breath and don't be too hard on yourself, it's just one of those tough lessons.

Take a deep breath and contact them saying you were aware of the conditions of the agreement, called and cancelled within the time period and that you were shocked and appaled that you were charged. Tell them that if money is not refunded that you will be forced to file fraud charges with the bank. They play dirty, so you play dirty got it! You will get your money back. After money is refunded I recommended closing bank account. I hope this helps

Has happened to me also, this company offers a 14 days trial to there idol white tooth whitener, stating you have 14 days to cancel. On going to their online webpage Dazzle Smile to cancel my trial offer, states this option is not available. After cancelling my credit card, trying to contact them buy phone, hopeless. The only option I mangaed to actually communicate in chat was to get some person named Autumn on the Dazzel Smile web page, finally she told me I had been removed from the auto shipment programe, with conformation sent to my email. Now I have to dispute the charges in credit account. She has supplied me with an 0800 NZ number, to do this. I had sent an email days ago asking them to cancel my auto shipment and reverse the charges, only to get a reply my credit request had been denied.

You signed up for our 14 day satisfaction guarantee for a lifetime supply of the product. You had 14 days from the date of purchase to cancel the trial which you failed to do. Your credit card was charged under our terms and conditions that were clearly stated on our order form, your email receipt and packing slip, and is non-refundable.

~~ PLEASE DO NOT REPLY TO THIS EMAIL ~~

For customer service requests, shipping questions and cancellation policy please visit: http://support.healthbuy.com

"This is what I followed to cancel though stating the free trial offer cancellation option was not available ... talk about lack of communication with this company " Very difficult to get incontact with. BUYERS BEWARE
