CVS Pharmacy

Thought I would try cvs because my pharmacy was busy and walgreens didn't have all of my medication. I stood at the counter for over 15 minutes waiting for someone to help me. I was the only person in line inside the store and they had one car in the drive through. Two people on duty and when a gentleman went to the counter to pick up his medication they help him right away but still left me standing with out helping me at the drop off window. Two other people where behind me waiting also but they got upset and left to go to walgreens. After I finally called customer service then I was helped I was treated poorly after that. And yes I had a attitude too after another 30 minutes of them putting my insurance information into the computer I was then told my insurance didn't cover one of my medication which I knew was wrong so I got my paperwork back from them went down the street to albertsons and had all three of my medication with in 20 minutes. I knew customer service was not going to do anything because they didn't even ask me questions. So cvs does not care about you.

CVS Bad / slow pharmacy service

This Pharmacy has gone down hill in a very bad way. When I first started using the location, my prescriptions were filled in a timely manner and some on the people who used to work there and were polite to work with are no longer there. Now, prescriptions are never ready on time, the individuals who work at this location are not helpful nor are they polite. Prescriptions that are called in from the doctors office are not filled in a timely manner.

Somebody over the management of these stores needs to take a close look at the way it is being run and make some corrections.

CVS The employee at cvs and unhelpful service

I tried to get help at the CVS Sunrise Hwy, Bohemia, all to no avail. There was pnly one self check out available and the other did not take cash. There was a long line and a customer having problem using the machine. There was no help in this store. when I approached the pharmacy, they paged someone to go to the front. Reluctantly, an Asian girl with attitude rolled her eyes and even got "smart" with me telling me that she was there to stock shelves not ring up people. I told her sorry to hear that and one day she will be replaced by more self check outs. Rolling her eyes to the customer behind me and giving again an attitude, I told her that Walgreens and Rite Aid I will be now shopping at ..

CVS Wrong prescription

I stopped by CVS on my way home to pick up my medicine. The tech charged me $40 and gave me two bags. As I was pulling away I checked to see what all they were as I have never received that large of bottle before. In fact there was two bottles in the bag for one prescription. When I looked at name of drug I knew I had never taken that before. It had my name on the label but I turned around and went back and asked the female tech who came to the window to please tell me who prescribed this to me as I had never taken before. She pulled original script and proceeded to tell me it wasn't mine. This is very dangerous and could possibly hurt someone. The RX number was 7740000.

CVS Unprofessional employees

I contacted this store on 1/24/20 at 1:15pm to check status of my prescriptions. So I spoke with employee dasha in pharmacy which had me on hold for over 15 minutes then disconnect call. I called back immediately ask for manager which her name was joe. I explained the issue she tells me there are only two people working in pharmacy. And dasha maybe didn't realized she hung up on me. I explained to joe that's not good excuse to hang up on a customer it's unprofessional. Joe refused to provide her last name stated she's the only shift supervisor at this store. I refuse to continue doing business with cvs it's a nightmare to trust people to fill your medication when there excuses are we are short staff! Remind you my issue hasn't been resolve.

CVS Disrespectful employee & poor customer service

I am a very loyal customer at CVS Pharmacy, actually having received recognition in 2019 as a most valued customer for my monetary contributions. However, unfortunately today when I decided to stop by at this particular CVS store location, I received some of the most blatantly rude and disrespectful customer service from a middle-aged, female cashier, whose name I was not able to get. But I had hardly been at the store but only a couple minutes, not even enough time for me to look around, when I was abruptly approached by the employee mentioned above. She questioned me if I was ready at that moment to make a purchase, and when I pleasantly replied that I wasn't quite ready yet, she met my smile with nothing but a glare before walking away. Then, truly it couldn't have been not even a minute later when I overheard her speaking with another employee saying, "We need to watch out for her, "clearly spoken within earshot and implying that I was not a guest to be trusted. This came as a complete shock to me! Especially considering the fact I was openly holding the cash I intended to spend in my hands. This was so offensive to me that I left the store immediately, and honestly, at this point I'm afraid I will not be returning to any CVS Pharmacy again in the future.

CVS cvs health dry skin therapy

Have you changed vendors for this product or has your vendor changed the formula. I have been using this product since you first introduced it years ago and it has been a great product. I purchased a pump bottle, several months ago, and it is a lot thinner, bordering on the consistency of water. It is even difficult to get it to stay on an applicator without running off.

CVS Pharmacy

My medication (Humira) that requires to stay cold was delivered to the pharmacy on 1/8/20. On 1/14/20 when I hadn't received a text or phone call letting me know it was ready I stopped by the store. I was told it wasn't there, then after phone call to my insurance company I was told it was delivered 1/8/20 at 2:12 pm and gave the employee name that signed for it. Upon further searching the pharmacist found the unopened box under the counter. It had set there for 6 days without anyone opening the box. So my medicine spoiled. Here it is a week later and I still do not have my replacement medication. When I called today the pharmacist said that it is saying processing since 1/16/20 (it is usually shipped overnight) thru CVS Specialty pharmacy. What is the hold up? Can you please find out? My name is Cheryl Armstrong [protected], cheryl.[protected]@yahoo.com

CVS Prescriptions

I went into the Broadway CVS pharmacy in Grove City Ohio and talked to the receptionist about a prescription that was on hold and one that was in process since December. It is now January 21st of 2020. Both were are an issue due to the pharmacy waiting for my Dr to get back with them. In the meantime I have run out of my medication and test strips, just becasue no one notified me of the situation of which I am the person who really needs the help here. The receptionist was very uncooperative and just said get with your Dr. This is a real problem for the patient. There is no communication between the pharmacy and the patient, the pharmacy and the Dr, and the RX provider is just not helpful either.

Bottom line, I need my medication and when a pharmacy contacts the Dr. and gets no response and just lets it sit there, it is not benefit to the patient and when the pharmacy no longer reaches out the the patient, they have no idea there is an issue.

Receptionists really need to get some customer service. Not just we have called the Dr. and he has not returned our call (for 3 weeks).

CVS Pharmacist

I just went and picked up my medicine from this location tonight and the pharmacist made me feel horrible. I am pregnant and battling really bad nausea all day and so therefore I went and picked up what the doctor prescribed me and she made a horrible face while scanning the medicine and also said well that's not really good for you . To be honest they are there to guide me with questions regarding the medicine if I have any but she is not my doctor and it made me extremely upset and made me feel horrible like previously mentioned . I just did not appreciate her comments /facial remarks .

CVS Discount percvs policy not received.

I Came into CVS to pick up prescriptions and to buy some nicotine gum for my Teenager. I was led by the cashier to a locked area near the cash register that a customer could see the merchandise, but did not have access to. She asked me if I would like to purchase the CVS brand nicotine gum for $ 5.99. There were 2 boxes of the CVS 2mg 20 pieces gum behind the price tag that read $5.99. When she rang me up, it rang up $13.99, I then asked if I could have the $4.00 discount per the advertisement on the screen in front of me that read $4.00 item for free or $4.00 of any item above $4.00 that rang up higher than advertised. I was told by the Cashier's coworker, (unsure if she was the manager) that because the item was behind the wrong tag, I could not have the discount. That sounds reasonable for an item on the general floor that customers have access to. this was a locked area to customers and was obviously stocked by an employee, not to mention two boxes. I did buy the item for $13.99 but told the cashier that was not good business. I am a weekly customer of this store since 2008. My CVS rewards number [protected]. I would like to know why I did not receive the $4.00 off given the situation. Michelle

CVS Profiling / calling pd on honest, paying customers

At this CVS location at 1324 San Carlos Ave, San Carlos, CA one of the worst experiences of my life occurred. I quickly went in to buy a drink, doing nothing more than briefly walking past the cold cases and scanning for my drink, which I put in hand and bought. 5 minutes later in a very public location around people who know me I was approached by police and told that a store employee saw me stealing and I was forcefully patted down and my person searched. I absolutely DID NOT and have never stolen in my life. In my mid 40s my record is spotless, not even a misdemeanor charge or driving violation. I was detained for over a half hour and an absolutely complete search of every area I was upon exiting the was conducted for store property that I may have stolen and discarded. The security footage was watched which of course did not show me stealing, concealing items, etc. I was banned from store according to the officer. Profiling is the only possibility and has happened to others there. If the manager stated that I was observed stealing then that is a felony of making a false police report.

CVS Prescriptions

Because of my drug plan I changed over to CVS Pharmacy last year and have had nothing but one issue after another with the LaFayette CVS Pharmacy! Without listing a page full of issues I will just say they have a VERY poor staff and have little knowledge of their profession. Just today they refused to fill my estrogen prescription that says on the bottle there are 3 remaining refills until 3-30-20. I am scheduled for my yearly check up in March to have my estrogen renewed. I actually had to send CVS Pharmacy a picture of my Estrogen bottle for them to believe that I still had remaining refills. Also, they called me the first of January to ask if they could fill all three of my monthly medications on the same date, which I said yes. They ask what date I wanted and I said the 17th of each month. They said they would have them ready on the 17th. But they did not have any knowledge of this today on the 17th? I changed to Walgreen last summer for one of my monthly medications because CVS started giving me a different med by a different manufacture that was so tiny you could not break it into half as doctor ordered. It was for water retention and high blood pressure and it was not working at all as the medication I had been on for a couple of years! WalGreen refilled the correct medication. I am so VERY fed up with CVS Pharmacy in LaFayette GA! I will be changing drug plans ASAP!

CVS Glimepiride 4mg tablets prescription

January 17, 2020

Dear Mr. Larry J. Merlo / CEO
My name is Edwin Haynes and my wife name is Elise Rector Haynes. My Email address is [protected]@aol.com. We have been loyal long-time customers of your corporation a long with several family members and friends throughout the states. When I have received your automation service survey. I always take a few minutes to reply, because of the friendly and great customer service that I receive during each visit. I tend to use your Fulton Street / Nassau Street location in lower Manhattan, NY, NY 10007 which is close to my place of employment. Your employees there always go up and beyond assisting customers. I always indicate that I would highly recommend CVS while responding to your quick email survey. I have placed your corporation high above the Walgreens, Rite Aids and other chain Pharmacies as the "BEST".
On October 16, 2019 my wife visited your uptown Manhattan location (115 West at 125th Street) and Lenox Ave NY, NY 10027. to pick up her regular monthly prescriptions. She picked up about four of them and returned on November 5, 2019 to pick up the remaining ones that included Glimepiride 4MG tablets for her (Type 2 Diabetes). She was informed by the Pharmacy staff member (Kathy) that she had already picked it up previously on her October 16, 2019 visit to the location. She informed the Pharmacy that they were wrong and that didn't receive the Glimepiride prescription. She went home and double check the medicine cabinet and it wasn't there at home. She returned to the Harlem location and informed the Senior Pharmacist about her missing medication and was informed that there was nothing they were able to do. She should call her insurance company and ask for an override for a new prescription or would have to wait until February of 2020 to have the prescription refilled. She repeated that she never picked it up on October 16, 2019 visit. There was another CVS team named "Lily" who was extremely rude, nasty and made a heartless comment about the situation. My wife stressed the fact that she needed her medication that she didn't receive to continue her wellness and important health.
I hope and pray this "CVS Mishap is not linked to any future developments regarding the denial of her life wellness medication of"Glimepiride". This medication is on the front line of controlling high blood sugar prevent kidney damage, blindness, nerve problems, loss of limbs and sexual function problems.
Your staff didn't offer and possible other options or solutions to the missing prescription other than coming back in 90 days later and sorry. This experience has created a legacy of sadness regarding CVS as customer friendly service for individuals with medical needs. The Affordable Care Act that was signed in March 2010. Was very important opening the doors for millions of Americans to be able locate affordable Health Care. It is just as important that these Americans be able to receive the medications that they are entitled to receive through Physician prescriptions.

As my wife told me the story of what had happened. I sat there in major shock, horror and disbelief of her account with CVS pharmacy's staff who demonstrated a lack of empathy or compassion for a long-time customer who needed life saving medication. During this time period my wife was severely stressed and unable to sleep being in crisis about not having her important medication. She suffered with several more trips to the bathroom resulting in frequent urination. If I was informed by someone else about this story or events regarding this account by someone else. I would have really had my doubts about it being true. I have lived the nightmare along with my wife and the cause and effects of her not having her requiring medication. This experience has been more than just real it has been a"Holocaust"of another human being concern of the wellness for a customer / patient under a doctor care.
Good Morning"AMERICA"……" NEW FLASH' CVS DENIES CUSTOMER / PATIENT LIFE SAVING MEDICINE"…
This episode with this 115 West 125th Street CVS location only grew worse in the coming weeks. On January 2, 2020 my wife visited the same CVS location to pick up some additional medications. She noticed that the cashier had given her additional older bag with something in it. She questioned the cashier about the old bag, and she informed my wife that"CVS had lost and relocated my wife's medication in one of their pick up medicine bends. This was the same prescription she was previously informed that she had already picked up before by several CVS team members. On Tuesday January 7, 2020 my wife demanded to speak to a supervisor regarding the sinful situation that she had experienced. A supervisor named Ms. Misun stated that she would investigate the situation regarding the missing prescription reappearing again with everyone involved. On January 10, 2020 about 11AM my wife received a call from Ms. Misun stating that a very thorough and full review and found CVS was not at fault regarding the missing medication.

Over the years I had an opportunity of working with Kindergardeners' who all realize if a mistake occurs a correct follow up action is "REQIURED". If they did something wrong, you must always apologize for the error. Over the past couple of years Denny's Restaurant and Star Bucks have implemented customer service and sensitivity training. I personally know that all of your CVS locations may not be as "Unique" as this location in the lack of customer service. However, one location with team members like this is one to many. My wife was traumatized for no apparent reason and wasn't offer no normal workable solutions in the direction of any positive outcomes. I have personally received several Emails weekly regarding special offers, sales or discount coupons. Why wasn't it possible for CVS to send my wife a "Medical Alert Text" to her cell phone informing her that CVS had located her missing medication that they told her she had picked up previously several times? All of her contact information is on file at the location.

In the upcoming days I will be taking a moment and gathering my thoughts and will be sharing this unbelievable chain of events with family members, friends and social media readers. This situation shouldn't and wouldn't had happen at the small Mom's and Pop's small corner Pharmacy because they value and believe every customer is family and is important. This location has really dropped the ball in what is considered customer service should be delivered in 2020. A Corporation is only as good as the staff they hire to represent company with the public. Poorly trained employees with negative attitudes usually leads to low stock prices, profits and returns with future mergers with better preforming companies with employees that are professional and understand the importance of the practice of good customer service. The past 50 years are over flowing with examples.

CVS Service

I have had to many complaints about this store, it has to be the worst pharmacy in the CVS company.
Each month that I try to fill my Amphetamine Salts scripts that are sent over 3 at a time, from my dr. there is always a reason why they can't fill. Last month they mistakenly discarded the script, for Dec and stated they couldn't fill the next months because it was to soon. I had to call my dr again, because this wasn't the first time something they did wrong. Now this month I called 2 days prior to have it filled, to make sure there aren't any issues that would prevent them from filling the script, I was informed that it couldn't be filled because it was to soon. because it was picked up on the 20th and filled on the 18th. so I called back 2 days later and wouldn't you know they informed me that they didn't have it in stock, because their warehouse didn't send it over. So again I go without my medication. with a conference that is 2 days and 8 hours each day ahead of me. I'm so Tired of this pharmacy. they are the worst...

CVS Medicine

Bad experience from this pharmacist and Christina who was very angry at me telling me to leave when I was already leaving! who went beyond disrespect full to being downright abusive with criminal behavior! Apparently they don't like being complained about! Well, too bad customers have a right to complain about poor customer service!
Christina just wanted to tell me to leave to try and get me for tress passing! Customers They weren't filling our medications like they should which is why we had to complain in the first place! It got worse and we sent a complaint to the board of pharmacy. But this new pharmacist is low life trash yelling at me and refusing to me my medicine! And telling me not to come back! I recorded the incident on my cell phone. I did call the police but they lied to them falsely accusing me I was being unruly.

But i have it recorded that the pharmacist started it. I was leaving the store when Christina told me to leave I was leaving! but she could never give me a reason! But the cops said was due me being unruly! Then the police told me that they banned me and I would be arrested if I came back!

They had to lie to get me banned! Nothing but trailer trash pharmacists and techs. It doesn't matter how much education you have. When you lie about someone like this you are trailer trash! And who was he to judge me and he didn't even know me.

This proves the other pharmacist and techs were bad-mouthing me! To him. Well, I have it on video that the pharmacist started it first! He was being the unruly one! Then they lied again saying that I called her the B-word! Christina and this pharmacist were the unruly ones! But the customer doesn't have any rights at all when being abused by employees like this. And the police always sides with this business! Stay away from this evil pharmacy!

Why does CVS along with the board of pharmacy allows pharmacist get away with abusing customers and then lying about them falsely accusing them of being unruly? And tell the police to be on the ban lists! Why why why why why!

They didn't do anything to them and now I'm banned from the store! For nothing! They don't treat all customers the same! Why do they allow bad employees to stay employed at this store? And let them think they can do whatever they want! The police are full of it too!

Yes, i am angry which I have a right to be! All because they don't want to be held accountable for their actions! Just please stay away from this pharmacy. Bad apples!

Please stay away from this pharmacy! If they will go to these great links to get back at a customer who has been with them for over 10 years! Just for you complaining. These employees in the pharmacy are trailer trash scum who have turned into criminals! Because the board of pharmacy ruled in their favor!

I had every right as a customer to make a complaint! For the lousy unprofessional service that I have received at CVS. It was unjust for them to tell the police that I'm not allowed to come back to the store! And now they told my doctor's office that I can't have my medicine filled they're anymore! Totally unfair and unjust treatment!

The pharmacist and techs at this CVS are nothing but snakes in the grass! Customers have the right to "Stand their Ground" when being bullied by pharmacists or techs! This ban is unjust and unfair! They think they're laughing at us! thinking they got their way in getting rid of us!

CVS Pharmacy

On more than one occasion they continued to refill a deleted blood pressure medicine that was replaced by doctor with a different brand costing us $94.00 in a loss. Have asked them 3 times to delete this medicine and they failed. Had prescriptions picked up and brought home which we could not return for a refund due to policy. You should put seal tape on the cap to allow return for refund when CVS makes these mistakes. Better training of Pharmacists would help. This has happened several times in the past. Moving all of our prescriptions to a different pharmacy.

CVS Staffing shortages

I just left this same complaint with the customer service agent at the 800 number but want to make sure someone actually sees/hears it.

My store is # 1781 in Lynbrook, NY. First let me say this is not a complaint about the store staff who are all very nice and helpful.

This has to do with staffing issues at the pharmacy. For the last few months there has been only one person helping customers at the counter, on the phone and at the drive up window. This person is running around like a trying to do the job of two or more people. In the past there was always the pharmacist, a person helping the pharmacist and two people at the counter helping customers. I guess corporate has decided the try to make more profit at the expense of their customers' time.

Exactly how much more money does this company need to make? I've been told that the issue is that corporate cut both staff and hours.

Quite a number of my relative and friends have had the same issues at their local stores and are as disgusted as I am with how this company is taking advantage of both their workers and customers.

Both Walgreens and Rite Aid have local stores and from what I can ascertain from others, they do not have this issue at their stores.

I've been a CVS customer for many years, but why would I stay loyal to a company that does not care about their customers?

CVS Filling of prescription

I called your mail order pharmacy because I was supposed to receive my shots today and that pharmacist helper was very rude! I have worked in a pharmacy for my whole life my dad, sister and 4 cousins are pharmacists and my father owned 7 pharmacies. The lady told me that they emailed me 4 times asking for a new prescription and I only got email yesterday that I needed a new prescription which I shouldn't because they just got one in aug. Now I don't have my meds and I need my shots. The lady was condescending and rude. This is not the 1st time with this issue of them not getting my meds and not letting me know until the day before. I will be switching this to walgreens I cannot stand how I am being treated and all the mistakes cvs has made on billing and now not filling my meds. I want a call from someone at cvs about this. CVS Pharmacy not doing their job with filling refills on time.

On Monday January 6th, I turned my prescription into the CVS Pharmacy at 11900 Balboa Blvd by my house. I have been going to CVS for years. I turned my prescription for Lyrica and Xtampza in early to give them time to order them. They are both controlled substances. I received a text message on January 10th that both medications will be ready to pick up on January 14th. I went in the store today, January 14th, to pick them up and only Lyrica was there. They did not even order my Xtampza yet! So incomplete! People need their medications on time! The pharmacist wouldn't even come over to talk to me, left it up to the poor sweet girl on the cash register to deal with. This isn't the first time they haven't ordered a medication on time. I filed a complaint with the corporate office to!

While there is always room for improvement, CVS's strengths far outweigh any areas that may need enhancement.
