Cracker Barrel Time waiting on food

So at 10:30 my mother and I came in for breakfast and was sat down right away. Thought was a good sign. No - from the time we ordered our food it took 1 hour to get. Then when the food arrived it was cold and wrong but we were not about to send anything back. By this time, we just wanted to get up and leave, which is what we should have done. Our regular grits were now cheese grits and the biscuits were not done. We will definitely not be back. I fully understand that there is an employee issue these days but you need to let people know when they come in what the wait time might be. We told several people coming in when we were leaving and they turned around and left. Ridiculous! We saw our waitress one time only.

Cracker Barrel Obscene wait time

I called to ask if they had found a debit card that day and I was on hold ALMOST AN HOUR! It took 10 minutes for someone to answer the phone, then when they finally did I asked if they had found a debit card and I was placed on hold for 25 minutes! I called again and I was answered after about 5 minutes, I asked to speak to the manager and I was put on hold for 35 minutes! I'm an so outraged and disgusted by this. I had to drive down there to ask a 5 minute question, then when I got there the manager was careless and extremely rude. She didn't give a crap I just waited an hour to get an answer to a 5 minute question! I was in the middle of moving and driving to pickup a uhaul and the fact I had to wait and go out of my way to see if I left my debit card is outrageous and disgusting. The management there needs serious consequences, as a previous manager myself this is COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE! I WILL NEVER EAT AT ANY OF YOUR RESTAURANTS AGAIN AFTER THIS!

Also my dad wanted to help her press charges. Even though she is not his mom. To get back at him I said that he used to fondle me as a child. NO one beleived me becasue I always accuse men of these things when I am mad at them.

I cannot believe that I am being harassed here. This incident made me so upset. I could not think straight. I sadly took my anger out on my grandmother. She ended up with a broken jaw and broken ribs thanks to them.

While i do understand moving is stressful. you called them multiple times to ask if you accidentally left your card there. they were rude because they figured out it was you who was calling them multiple times instead of waiting. yes you had to wait long and that isnt cool, but hanging up and calling back is also not cool. they have many customers at multiple locations.

I have seen sometimes that a recipt book is left on the table with money in them. one time about 12 years ago i saw one had a card still in it. we gave it to the server and made sure the owner of said card got it back.

Cracker Barrel Associate was very rude, short, and hateful

September 17, 2022 @ 8:00a at Cracker Barrel at Ga 204 and I-95 (Abercorn) Savannah, Ga

The female person assigned to seat guests was asked how much longer our wait would be after we had waited half an hour. She was purely hateful and short. She advised that she was busy and didn’t have time for my question, and turned her back and walked away.

I’ve been enjoying Cracker Barrel’s friendly courteous service and great food for years, and have never been treated this way in any restaurant or venue. Ever

There was no supervisor about. As a business owner I have always preached to my employees that they are Ambassadors for me and my business.

I am not sure that I will go back, but I want Cracker Barrel to be aware of this employee’s behavior. I didn’t get her name but you have your schedule to refer to to ascertain who your rotten apple is.

Cracker Barrel Service and the st it is served

My name is Pattie L King. I live in corbin Ky. We use to have one of the best Cracker Barred in the South. I filed a complaint last the week. I hope that you received it. Now I am filing a complaint for my Cousin Shelia Garrison from Barbourville Kentucky just a few miles from Corbin. This morning (9-10-22) she and her family came to eat at Corbin Cracker Barrel. From where she was sitting she could see into the kitchen. She saw one of the waiters pick up eggs off of a plate that was to be taken out and served and play with it and put it back on the plate (Shelia thought it was.Her plate). But they served it to a man at another table. Shelia got explained to the man what she saw. Then went and got manager and told she was offered more of different food. She said she told him no thank you I will not be back. You have got to get kitchen managers or cameras to me and the kitchen. With in a week one person was caught putting fingers in said dressing and licking it off now this please I am begging you help us keep this a nice place. Bring service back

Cracker Barrel poor service and lousy food

Complaint: Cracker Barrel CB0718 Linthicum Heights, MD

Today, Tuesday Aug 30th at approximately 9:30 am my wife and I went to the Cracker Barrel at Linthicum. I want to complain about the service and the food we received. Please note: This was our fifth visit to the Linthicum location. We ordered basically the same breakfast, but my wife did not want the biscuits and she asked the waitress if she could get one pancake instead of biscuits. The waitress said sure not a problem and she can do that. I got eggs over easy bacon and hashbrown casserole and jelly for the biscuits. The biscuits were hard enough to bounce off the floor no jelly. The waitress did not get our order right. My wife ordered scrambled eggs, bacon, hashbrown casserole with a pancake. The pancake and bacon were not with her breakfast, when the food was brought out. We told the server that we ordered bacon and one pancake. He said you order bacon too I said yes sir. He said it’ll be right up. He did not bring the bacon and pancake that my wife had ordered. We got the bacon about 5 minutes later but still no pancake. Again, we told the waitress that we did not get a pancake. When the waitress brought us our check, we told her again that we did not get a pancake. The waitress asked my wife if she still wanted the pancake. My wife said yes, it is supposed to be including in my breakfast, right? We told her yes and she brought out two pancakes. The bill was a little over $26 and when we went to the cashier, she wanted to charge us $31. I asked why and was told the reason is because of the pancake order. We asked to speak to the Manager and she told us that we could not substitute biscuits for pancakes. I told the Manager about the situation and that this is the worse Cracker Barrel we have visited in any state, and we have been to several. This Cracker Barrel has been bad since they opened several years ago. We have been there several times and each time we expect them to be better and each time we leave disappointed. The windows are filthy, and you can hardly see out of them. The staff are very unprofessional and manager did nothing to try and satisfy our complaint and only shrugged it off like she did not care.

PS: we also left a $5 tip before we found out about the extra $5, they charged us.

I hate to say this but Cracker Barrel is not a Cracker Barrel in a city environment. The small country locations are the best with staffs that care about their customers, but this Cracker Barrel is the pits. Someone needs to investigate this location and find out for them selves

Cracker Barrel Front desk person

I picked up my order:[protected] at 9:22 am this morning September 6, 2022, at Cracker Barrel Old country store at 6081 Shelby Oaks Dr, Memphis, TN 38134. The customer service guy at the counter had shiny pink fingernails. Is this a Christian store and is this the new image you want to project?

The guy acted very gay with his hands on his hip. This is very offensive behavior and against Christian ethics.

I do not think it is appropriate for businesses to kneel to the wilds of society in order to make money by relaxing their standards. He can be who he wants, but don't advertise it as representative of a business.

i have to agree the cracker barrel chain is NOT christian. though there are christians who do frequent the chain calling themselves "cracker barrel christians" it is in no way related to the company itself. they are all walks of life. If they hire someone that likes the color pink and presents themself differently yet professional i dont see how that is a issue.

Cracker Barrel Service, Sunday evening (Sept. 4).

Waitress we had was not well trained. She gave receipt and did not ask if we wanted a desert. We ask another waiter to get her so we could get apple pie he brought it to us. My husband asked if someone was going to clean off the dirty dishes and then the girl came and took them off. She was in the kitchen more than waiting on us. She needs to get a little more help in customer service.

Desired outcome: I feel like she should get a little more help in customer service!

Cracker Barrel Keeping the Bathrooms clean

After being away from this Cracker Barrel

Restaurant for over 5 months , we decide wee would try it again.

In the past we had gone to the restaurant because of the meals but stopped coming because of the horrible condition of the Ladies Bathroom . In the past, every time we went, we found the ladies bathroom in horrible condition .We would report it to the Management and they would say they are working on it.

Today, Sept 2, 2022, we thought we would try again. The meals were great. When we were leaving, I went to the Ladies room and found two of stalls not in working order, the Handicapped one with one roll of toilet paper , and paper and soap lotion on the floor near sink . I again spoke to the manager and he said he would work on it . I told him you have a holiday this weekend and you only have two stalls working and no one cleaning the bathroom , something must be done. I guess we wont be coming back again for another 6 or 7 months.

PLEASE TELL MANAGEMENT AT ANY OF YOUR STORES TO MAKE CERTAIN THAT THE BATHROOMS ARE CLEAN AND IN PROPER WORKING ORDER. THEY SHOULD NOT WAIT UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE TO FIX.

Cracker Barrel Service

We arrived at Cracker Barrel CB0036 TN, 9/2/2022 - waited 20 minutes before we were called back. No problem so far.

We sat waiting 20 minutes (table number 222) before our "waitress" came to take our drink orders. Ten minutes after that we received drinks and biscuits. We had a hungry 4 year old with us.

It was 50 minutes at the table before our food arrived. We never received the side of fruit ordered and had to have that removed from the bill. We also had to ask the Manager for for mayonnaise.

We only received refills after the Manager came to remove the fruit charge from our bill. He apologized for our wait but offered no compensation the issues.

We were at a Cracker Barrel in OK the day before and received quick, excellent service. Big difference.

Desired outcome: No customer should wait 20 before being acknowledged. They need better training, better service. We request a gift card or some type of compensation for waiting at the table 50 minutes before getting our food.

Cracker Barrel Unable to use a gift card purchased in 2019

On August 16, 2022, around 8:15p.m., at the Erie, Pennsylvania Cracker Barrel, I was told that I could not use my gift card because it did not have a pin code. The cashier and manager tried a couple of general pin codes that didn't work, so my gift card is useless, even though it states on the card that it never expires. The $25.00 gift card that was purchased at the same restaurant in 2019 by a travelling companion and later gifted to me, does not have a pin code. Apparently, the cards have changed since 2019 and now they all include a pin code. I find it unbelievable that in today's technological world Cracker Barrel's tech team could not create a program that would include these older gift cards. I had not used the gift card at an earlier date because of COVID in 2020 and 2021. I also do not have a Cracker Barrel close enough to order online. So now as the pandemic is improving, I decided stop at Cracker Barrel in Erie on my way home to Slippery Rock, and unfortunately, could not use the gift card I had been waiting to use.

Cracker Barrel roast Beef Dinner

I ordered a roast beef dinner at the cicero Store. I can only say that If I was a chef in your kitchen that I would not let this meat out of the kitchen . It was two pieces one had a slab of fat the other one was just as bad. needless to say I will not order from Cracker Barrel Again. This was an anniversary dinner so my wife did not need to cook.Her salad was fine.

Cracker Barrel Bacon n' Egg Hashbrown, Sausage patties

On July 18, 2022 at 3:39 pm, my family dined at CB in SA location #CB0690. We had a wonderful dinner and experience.

On August 16, 2022 at 2:58 pm, I dined at the CB in McAllen, Texas, location #CB0645. My dining experience was less than pleasant.

I ordered the Bacon n' Egg Hashbrown at both locations.

The meal at McA was terrible. The two eggs were rubbery, the bacon was tough as leather, I couldn't taste any cheese on the hashbrowns. My side order of sausage patties (3) wasn't any better. The patties were barely warm and not tasty at all. I honestly couldn't tell you what meat was used. Venison came to mind. My biscuits were cold and bland.

When the waitress asked how my meal was, I politely explained the dissatisfaction/disappointment of my meal. I explained to her that I was so looking forward to my meal, until I sat down and ate it.

Seriously, I was bragging so much about what a great meal I had at the SA location and now, it is doubtful I will ever return to the McA CB location. It really left a bad taste in my mouth as evidence by the eggs I had to spit into a napkin. I left two strips of bacon and two sausage patties uneaten. I did eat the hashbrown casserole after I removed the bacon, many chunks of tomatoes and the weird grilled string onions that resembled white worms.

My waitress removed the side order of sausage from my bill. I was not insisting or even suggesting my bill be changed to reflect my displeasure with my meal.

I asked the waitress if items on the menu were the same at all locations. Her response was yes, my meal should have been cooked/prepared like the meal I was served in SA.

Desired outcome: Ensure that food items on the menu are in fact cooked to exactly/similar to other locations.Do not serve food that is not warm if the customer expects it to be served that way.

Cracker Barrel Gift card

I received a Cracker Barrel gift card dated 12-13-2020 and went to use it today. It was denied.

the card had never been used. After having me swipe the card, the cashier had me rub off the area of the pin #. It said 0 balance.

At home I found the activation voucher showing proof of purchase from the

store 222.

Cracker Barrel prepared food

we ordered the Chicken fried Chicken meal, Cole slaw dumplins fried apples biscuits

side House salad , Hashbrown tots. meal came was shot the side salad so had to go back in , it was quick look so got home the chicken didnt have the gravy on it and No cole slaw, ONE meal to prepare for us an messed up, we are Seniors and was our 52nd Anniversary dinner to top the day off. very disappointing!

Cracker Barrel Service

On 8/5/2022 we visited the Gasden AL location. We were seated and our drink order taken just fine, After our meal order was taken is where the problems started. It was about 7PM and it was 4 of us, myself, husband and 2 kids (12 and 14) We ordered very basic food. We were not brought any basket of biscuits or cornbread what ever it is that is served. A table of 10 had come in and seated behind us. After noticing that 2 other tables that came in after us had already received their food (we had been waiting a long time) I asked the waiter if our food was almost ready as those other tables had already been served. Some time later he finally brought out our food, which from the look of it had been sitting for a while. My beef steak was burnt, the kids chicken strips looked and tasted like they had been re fried to warm up and everything else was cold. Still had not received any bread of any sort (noticed all other tables had been). Thought maybe this waiter was just new, but when he promptly had the large tables food out I knew differently. When I spoke to the manager about the issue of the large table behind us being taken care of quickly, he was very non chalant and simply said "ya that's how we are here at Cracker Barrel, I myself do that too" I guess meaning paying more attention to the larger parties then the small family tables. He then said "we don't serve rolls here" when I mentioned every other table had them, he was a smart butt and said "those are either corn bread or biscuits. Did you ASK for it" I was unaware that we had to ask for something that is usually just brought. He looked at my bill and said "oh it was nothing special, I could have made that in like 15 min by myself" which did not help the situation of us sitting forever waiting for food that was cold and burnt. He did take my hamburger steak meal off the bill but that was not what I was trying to get across to him. Apparently the staff there cater to the larger tables and ignore/forget about the little family that is there waiting. All in all not a very good experience at all.

Come to find out the waiter wasn't new at all so there was no excuse for the poor service

A few months ago I discovered that my local CB in PA was no longer offering the turkey sausage. I was rather puzzled about that, since I always ordered that over other breakfast meat. It was very tasty and better for you than other sausage. Then I discovered most of the sandwiches that I used to get are no longer, either. The new menu sucks! I was there a few days ago and had never, ever been disappointed with CB. I am now! Seems someone with power has gotten carried away. Good way to make customers disappear.

What are they thinking! People go to CB for the good food. Someone has decided that they will tell you want you can or cannot eat. I was so turned off the last time I was there, that I have no desire to go again. It is a crying shame that they don't listen to customers.

Cracker Barrel Product/Service

I have been hearing great reviews about the restaurant and decided to try it today (8/4/2022 @ about 11:48 am). I ordered The chicken fried steak, corn and mashed potatoes. The curbside delivery came out 8 minutes late, the steak was warm, corn was warm and mashed potatoes and gravy was cold. The biscuits were fine. The bag had some gravy on the handle and underneath and got on my uniform. I thought my 1st time trying this place would hold up to my friends reviews of the food. Order #[protected]

Cracker Barrel Customer Service

Tuesday evening Aug 2 2022, around 7:00 I walked into Cracker Barrel in Flint MI to place an order. There was a male employee standing in front of the counter straightening up things. I asked him about doing a take out and could I see a menu. Then a female cashier came up and walked to her register. she was pleasant and asked how she could help me. This guy told her that I needed a menu and that I was placing a take out order. she gave me a menu and then told him that he should take my order because he was the take out person. While I was looking through the menu he left and she went to attend other paying customers. I told her I was ready to place my order and she gave the guy a call to tell him that I was ready. I waited for at least 5 to 10 minutes and could not wait for him any longer. My mother was sitting in the car, and she does suffer from dementia. I had to leave. But we were both very hungry and it was late but we had to travel somewhere else to purchase food. I was very disappointed. this was customer service at its worse. it will be along time if any, if I decide to dine here again.

Desired outcome: No good out comes Just hungry without a meal! I live south, Grand Blanc MI of your restaurant in Flint. Its just a long way to come and not receive any proper service.

Cracker Barrel [protected] chicken & dumplings

I took my son & girlfriend out for a birthday celebration yesterday, July 31st. My son always orders the chicken & dumplings because that's his favorite dish that Cracker Barrel serves. I noticed that he was not eating his food like he usually does and asked him what the problem was? He said it was very globby and not the way it usually is and he didn't care to eat it. He's not a kid. He's a 60 yr. old man, so he knows what his food is suppose to taste like! Anyway, I paid the bill for our dinner which was $30.95 plus I put an additional $4.97 tip on it for our little waitress. When it was time to check out, i mentioned it to the fellow who checked me out and he didn't take the cost of the meal off my ticket. He just mentioned taking the survey! I really think he should not have charged me for the chicken & dumplings! I felt bad because this was our birthday celebration dinner and I know he didn't get enough to eat because of the quality of his dinner.

Desired outcome: I would like to be re-imbursed for the cost of my son's meal!

Cracker Barrel restaurant food order

I placed a delivery order with Uber and Cracker Barrel this evening, and my credit card was charged $45.92. My instructions to the delivery person were to leave my order against my front door, and to phone me immediately upon delivery. Neither happened. I tried to locate help from Uber, but their help options were disabled. I tried to get help from Cracker Barrel, but was told that they would not get involved. They refused to provide me with Uber's phone number. I checked outside of my door numerous times, but did not find my order. I asked to speak with Cracker Barrel's manager. I was put on hold, and left on hold until I finally gave up. I contacted my bank, and started a fraud complaint. My family member and I did not have a decent dinner, and I wasted a lot of my precious time trying to get something done. To top it all off, Uber put in yet another charge to my account, for a tip for the same individual who caused me so much trouble,

me the phone number rfor Uber.

n order this evening. My account was charged

Desired outcome: These individuals who caused me so much trouble must be held accountable. Stop trying to get me to pay for product that I didn't receive. Clean up your act.

Cracker Barrel Partial order

Picked up to go order in henderson ky on 07/24/22 approx 8:40am

After driving all the way out to the county unpack order and no gravy with my order of biscuits and gravy.
