worst service I ever seen!!
Today (14 Jan 2014), my family and I went to the newly opened Courts Mammoth in USJ 1. There are two experiences that we encountered during our visit there. I was looking for Courts Malaysia on FB but I cannot find it. So I am going to posted it here since I found it through the Google search engine.
Firstly, the gimmick that the newspaper posted out is far different that the one they offer in Courts. They written half price, but did not state the term and condition in it. We are supposed to sign up for 5 years payment plus with the 2.4% monthly? That came up to RM 4, 000+ for a RM 2, 399 handphone. They even dare the say to their customer if they buy from the sales person directly outside of Courts (which in my point of view they are supposed to promote the Courts product), they will offer a cheaper price. Are they even allowed to say that whereas they are actually working for Courts?! (FYI, I am not angry with the gimmick made, I know it is a way of marketing but promoters saying that to buy product directly from them and not through Courts? This I cannot accept as to me, if you are working for a company (Courts), promote what the company has instead of saying such things to customer).
Secondly, there is this employee, Mohd Aris or Haris, if I am not mistaken, was very rude to my dad. First thing first, by the rule of thumb, customer are always right and never ever argue with your customer. This person acclaimed by him is from the carpenter department. He even spit in front of us. How RUDE was that?! He even wanted to a body check when we did not buy anything from there when my dad wanted to exit through the side door due to it was raining quite heavily and our car was parked near the side door. That is why my dad wanted to exit through there to fetch the car and fetch us from the Courts front entrance. That also, the above said employee would not allow and wanted the security to do a body check. Are they even allowed to do body check on the customer?! It is a disgrace and what if a lady wanted to exit there as well? Do a body check on her?! Come on, people will sue for sexual harassment definitely.
So people, next time, I advice don't believe whatever Courts posted online or newspaper what they say about half price products, easy payment, etc... they are just gimmick to earn extra money.
Another thing, Courts if you want to hire people, please teach them on how to be ethical and well manner to their customer. I am sure next time if this happens, more complains will be made against this Courts Mammoth branch.

My pymt has never been overdue until a day before I was supposed to make pymt (every 27th) I received this very annoying text msg from a personal number claimed that I had an overdue pymt and they wanted to send someone who they appoint as reposessor to my house and office. I called the courts mammoth call centre & they person who received the call said they never send such kind of text to cust. I hung up unsatisfied with the answer. The very next mrng I received another text with the same harrassing content this time send with 5 digits number. Once again this company had denied it. Just now, there's once collection clerk who refused to introduce herself askd me for the pymt and when I ask again about the threated she just keep pushinge for the pymt. This really get me very angry & I want any further action taken to those who texting me such threat and also the company who allows their employees to do so. I come from a collection dept myself. This is not a proper way to get your pymt.

Although u post this in year 2013 its now 2015 and my husband has received the same text posing as repossessors and claiming they will come to my hse latest by 6pm if pymt has not been received by such time.
I have lodged a complain at Courts Mammoth and am waiting for them to call. That is if they call. When we purchase certain items they deliver late...but when it comes to payment they want prompt payment. Service rendered is bad. No follow up on any complaints issued. What kind of company is this?
lousy and rude services
I have ordered air cond for my room 5 days ago. I have actually paid the amount for the air con plus the delivery and installation charges. The sales person in charge at the time, his name is Hafizi, was advicing me no other extra charges aplicable, even was informing me, I have to pay the delivery changes and installment charges upfront in order to prevent the delivery guys to charge me anything additional. But upon installation period, the delivery plus installment guys was asking for additional payment as they claim there will be always additional charges for the internal wiring and also for the air cond host if its more than 10 feet. I called that particular branch to clarify, the person who answer the call, a lady, didn't even ask what is my issue, she just take my ic number then ask me wait for the person who sell me the item to get back since he is not in at that point of time. I was explaining to her that the installment guys are here and I need clarification on the issue immediately. She told that this is how courts works. Then when I started to point out why they never advice on this previously while I was buying the air cond, she just said I don't know about this, you have to refer to the sales person and then she just hang up the phone. God, its really frustrating experience! I do not mind to pay extra but at least they should give me warning first! I feel so cheated and regretting my decision to get an air cond from there. The way they are treating the customer really snap my nerve. How could you hang up on the customer? What kind of customer service is that? They never give us the due respect, we are paying aren't we. They treating us like we are taking the stuff without paying! I would still accept if she tries to apologize, but none given! This is the first and last time im purchasing anything with courts mammoth! Really bad and very rude services! I really wish my voice is heard!

Just went to Courts Megastore, lousy customer serive, salesman has lousy product knowledge and unwilling to serve. They might as well quit and stay at home if they dun like to serve customers. Will never patronise Courts again.
late & no follow up on issues
Bought my entire house furniture with this company about 1 and half month ago and yet to receive any calls or delivery. Finally they call up for delivery but saying some items has been discontinue. Sales person does not even know how to note down customer phone number correctly and giving the reason of can't reach customer line. Been directed here and there for some of their vendor and warehouse workers.

I would never ever go for this company again! Would not recommend anyone buying from this company.

I hate this services rendered by courts mammoth, they say other things and yet do other things. In the outlet they say delivery shall be done immediately when stock is ready, but yet they there is no feedback and i have to make a call and follow up. If they cant provide excellent of service forget about taking full settlement from customer .When asked at the point of buying they say the stock is widely available, but when at the point of delivery, they say out of stock. The worst of a kind people, offering a stupid services with zero quality staff especially the cashier name by Zeti when i want my money back and none of the manager at the outlet to hear the customer problem the Sales Person En Yusree bin Amiruddin and there is about 2-3 manager at the outlet which is En Zul and en Hafeez too many manager with poor leadership. I will consider to publish to media and from mouth to mouth.

I just want to express my deepest disappointment to your services.
I have purchased a bedroom set through courts and DHL has taken ownership of the logistics for this company. It's a disgrace to see how disorganized your company can be. I have so far received 3 appointments for delivery for the past 3 weeks. The first call was a disappointment already. The agent is trying to convince me mentioning that the delivery will take another 3days because they will need to transport the furniture to Ipoh. When I told them that the delivery address is in KL they apologized and mentioned that the goods will be delivered the next day. I waited but no signs of my goods. Then after I took the initiative to call courts, I found out even they have no idea what is going on. Then someone from DHL called n mentioned that they will deliver on the weekend 11-Nov-2012. So I waited again. But no signs of delivery. More than 3 weeks passed. A guy by the name Logen called and mentioned the furniture will be delivered on Thursday. I waited patiently but cheated again. I have come to an understanding that courts can not help me. I am personally writing this letter of complaint today. If it doesn't not hear back in 48 hours, I will be taking things to the next level. I will be going to the consumer affairs office for legal action

manners of the debt collector
I received a billion of calls from this man PRABA [protected] a debt collector regarding on my outstanding monthly payment. he really rude and always disturb me during the office hour by calling my office line. he also trying to reach me by calling and disturbing my office mate and trying to get my boss number. it was really annoying and disrupt my official duties. I have discussed with the customer service on outstanding debt and agreed to pay for a certain ammount but still this PRABA haunted me.

My husband just went and paid my monthly installment at Courts Mammoth In Seremban.
The lady there refused to take the RM200 which I pay every month saying that I promised to pay RM 321 on the 21st. I don't know who these people talked to but it wasn't with me! First they threaten and now they lie. These people would resort to anything to get the money from us. I think CM is hiring thugs for collectors as the same is happening to me, Faisna. I get threatening messages saying that they would come to my office and demand the payment from me on my hp from [protected], [protected] and [protected]. It is as though they have marked me. Made a bad mistake taking things from this place. Hope everyone who is reading this : DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS PLACE OR YOU WILL BE DOOMED FOREVER!
bad manners of the debt collector
Today a customer service personel name Sharifah called me for the my deceased mom monthly payment. As I was saying that the payment has been made via online, she rudely said to me that I should have told her that we made it via online because it takes 3 days for it for them to received it. As a customer it was really annoying as 1) the interest that we paid is so high that is more than 200% 2) she should not talk so rudely when asking for others to make the payemnt. Eventhough it was a bit late but still consumer still pay for whatever reason we have. Then without saying thank you she would just simply hung up the phone. A very bad customer service manner I can say for this girl name 'Sharifah'

Courts mammoth patut kena prihatin sedikit masa moc pun ashik call minta hutang. macamana nak bayar tak boleh keluar kerja. kemungkinan kerajaan akan extend lagi moc hingga akhir june. duit nak makan pun tak cukup ini nak bayar hutang. sebelum covid19 lockdown saya dah pergi customer service nak minta bayar sedikit demi sedikit department ni pass department ni... etc malaysia patut tubuhkan satu "perbankan" yang boleh orang yang ada tunggakan dengan courts mammoth pergi ke satu pertubuhan yang dapat membela orang yang seperti saya dalam keadaan yang tak berduit nak bayar. ini dah beritahu macam-macam pun still perah orang bayar. takda peri kemanusiaan langsung. orang rohingya pun dilayan lebih baik... debts collector a nightmare. banyak kali dah explain tapi mereka tak faham. macamana nak bayar kalau dalam masa 7 bulan 8 kali kena berhenti kerja tanpa alasan... dan nak buat matter worse kena lockdown pula... saya berharap kerajaan dapat prihatin dengan kami yang terpaksa lockdown ditambah pula kena "lockdown" dengan bebanan hutang... minta kerajaan dapat berbincang dengan "courts mamoth" supaya pembayaran hutang "ditangguhkan" selama 6 bulan selepas lockdown dah lifted baru start bayar balik sebab kita takde income nak bayar. interest dah la mahal lepastu masa beli, mereka sengaja buat agreement berjela supaya customer malas nak baca terus sign. once dah sign agreement, locked down lah dengan interest yang 4x ganda. mereka tak tranparency... nak commission atas kesusahan orang lain... sedih betul... riba yang tinggi. saya beli computer & ipad kalau beli dari luar total dalam rm5k max tapi dengan courts mamoth total rm16k saya kena bayar... gila! lebih mahal dari ahlong, peras ugut pun dah macam loan shark... please kerajaan do something about this matter. boleh tak tubuhkan satu badan perbankan islam yang dapat consolidate semua hutang courts dan kita bayar monthly installment dengan bank tersebut instead of "courts mamoth"... seperti bank yang buat "balance transfer" bukat setakat courts mamoth tapi applies untuk semuat monthly insatllment dari courts, telco, ptptn etc so dengan cari ini ringan sedikit beban dan masaalah hutang akan berkurangan

Very disappointed & disheartened by the rude debt collectors who made phone calls via +[protected], +[protected], +[protected]. I have been a loyal customer since 2003 & have made numerous loans under a lot of accounts. I admit it was my mistake for not paying on time. I normally pay all once I receive the salary but this month I’m facing financial difficulties. I tried to negotiate by reassuring them everything would be cleared by end of this week but they did not listen. They were persistent and raised their voice worse than loan sharks. They were young malay men, I was surprised on what ground they were appointed to represent this very big company with such poor attitudes. This was not the case back when I first started to have loans with Courts; the staff maintained their professionalism when asking for loan repayments. This is not the same when Courts started to appoint third party to carry the task. I really hope something will be done before customers start losing their patience and turning to other companies that offer better before and after sales services. If I were one of those errand payers, Courts would have not approved my loans under 4 different accounts. We customers are not trying to run away from paying the installments, but when something crops up and we need to delay the payment, all we ask is to give us some time until we’re able to do so.
saya ada membeli tv lcd drpd courts mammoth pada 2010 dgn nilai 4k+ dan semasa penghantaran dibuat brg tidak lengkap seperti apa yg dijanjikan. Rasa x puas hati dan mcm dah kene tipu oleh pihak courts kami buat keputusan untuk memulangkan semula brg yg telah dihantar. Brg x pernah guna pun & masih elok dalam kotak. Budak sales yg arrange utk amek balik brg tu ckp courts mammoth akan black list nama kami di mana kami tidak boleh membeli apa2 brg drip mereka dimana-mana cawangan pun..OK fine! brg dah ambil...tup2 lps 3 thn smpi surat lawyer ckp kami perlu bayar tunggakan sebanyak RM 11K++...pala hotak dia! padahal brg x pernah guna pun & dah DIPULANGKAN & bukan ditarik... bila kol courts dia ckp mgkn kerani yg salah key-in dlm system as brg kene tarik instead of pulang brg..what the F***! smpi la ke hari ni kes ni masih belum settle lagi..mcm2 lawyer firm kol kami..dah diterangkan bnyk kali kami yang pulang balik barang tu & bukan barang kene tarik sbb x bayar...bengap sngt ke nak paham...la ni tggu courts HQ punya jawapan plak

sy pun sama ...masalah sya ialah barang yang saya loan tu dah pun diambil balik oleh mereka tp kenapa pula nak saman sya lak atas tuntutan ganti rugi sampai nak sita dan lelong harta benda. bagi saya kalau barang yang kita beli dah ditarik balik kira settle lah sebab barang pun dah diaorang ambil balik...tp apesal pulak sampai saya kena bayar rm5600.00 utk cancelation saman ke atas saya. seperti x masuk akal semua nya.. sedangkan jumlah tertunggak tu hanya rm432 jer .. smpai naik serabut nak cekau duit banyak tuh utk settlekan rm5600.00 tuh... cm nie umpama mencari keuntungan diatas kesusahan org lain..dah lah kata kita kena saman tak inform tup2 pada 101.01.2014 ada org kol nak sita dan lelong harta benda rumah. tak ke pelik begitu... jgn harap aku nak ambik barang2 kat courts lagi...huhh... jiwa kacau..

Sy pun kena benda yg sama... Pada 21/11/13 hari khamis si collector berbangsa india ni call then sy inform la esok sy bayar..dia tnya nak bayar brapa bulan sy ckp la 2 bln mean rm216. Dia cakap x boleh kena bayar rm540.. Sy ckp sy x bleh bayar bnyk tu sbb x cukup duit.. Then dia tengking sy cakap "courts minta sy bayar dalam rm1000++(dah x ingat amount betol yg dia mention tu) tp di ckp dia dah kurang bnyk la.. taupun courts minta sy jelaskan semua bayaran barang tu dan terus jd milik sy" sy pun apa lagi hot gila la..sy hairan juga minta sy bayar rm100++ sedangkan tertunggak 4bln n masuk yg pymnt bln 11 baru 5 bln la.. Rm108x5=rm540 ja kot. Pas tu dia tnya bal bila nak byar sy ckp next week dlm 1-3 hb la sbb sy gaji antara date tuh.. Nak bayar berapa sy ckp sebln ja dulu.. Sbb sy x cukup duit anak nak masuk sekolah lg... Dia tengking lg suruh sy bayar juga lagi rm270.. Sy berkeras juga ckp x boleh bayar mcm tu then dia kata bayar rm200.. Memang sy x cukup duit mcm mana sy nak bayar so dia hot dia letak fon... Keesokkan pagi jumaat 22/11/13.. Pagi2 buta dah msg suruh sy buat pymt.. Dasar macai courts...x pikiaq ka org pagi2 pi keja mana nak dan pi bayar.. Sy dah hot dah tp sy buat bodoh ja..sampai mlm sy x sempat nak pi bayar sbb duit yg nak bayar tu duit husband sy minta dia bank in dlm m2u sy tp dia sibuk keja x sempat bank in... 23/11/13(sabtu) pagi juga si macai courts ni sekali lg msg minta bayar hari ni juga klu x surat tarik di keluarkan! Ptg dlm pukul 4 husband bank in sy terus buat pymt seperti yg sy janjikan rm270 by m2u. Pukul 6 macai ni kol lg.. Sy cakap dah pymt by m2u.. Dia tengking sy ckp dah tau ada tertunggak y paid by m2u kenapa x pegi cwgn courts.. Sy ckp x dak transport (kereta kami rosak+x dak roadtax) x kan sy nak pegi naik moto bawa anak sy plak..Nk pegi dgn husband anak2 plak x dak org jaga sy xplain dekat dia.. Then dia tengking sy klu x boleh pi awat x habaq dia.. Dia boleh minta collector pegi rumah kutip.. Sy dah hot sy ckp y u x tnya sy x pernah tau pun ada org boleh kutip, ..dia bengang suruh sy antar bukti pymnt.. Sy ckp minta la whatsapp sy attachkan.. Dia kata x dak.. Sy ckp nak send x dak kredit.. Dia marah sy ckp sy kurang ajar sedangkan dia yg mula dulu.. Pastu dia ckp u letak fon i pi rumah u skrg! Dia igt sy takut kot.. Mcm la sy ni tipu x bayar.. Sy x takut la sbb sy ada buat pymnt.. Sy tunggu juga xmai pun...lepas abis pymnt ni sy x akan ambik lg barang di court ni.. Ibarat hutang dgn along ja...
extended warranty fraud
I am here to lodge a serious and frustrating complaint about courts singapore's so called extended warranty under its supashield.
3 and a half years ago I bought a sony 40inch bravia tv from courts. The sales person clearly being all caring and wanting me to extend my warranty and selling me the supsshield extended warranty package. After alot of persuasion I agreed. The seller did mention I will have 5 years of no worries with my tv. Accidental coverage is also included for that time. He made it sound like it is a good deal. So I accepted.
Recently after 3 and half years later while renovating house I accidentally cracked the tv screen. So I thought no worries called the extended warranty hotline and got confirmation that the person will call me back to make arrangements for coming to repair. But no calls till afternoon. When at last I called them, the extended warranty departnment responded that my extended warranty doesnt cover accidental coverage for 5 years only 3 years.
I was so angry, first of, no one bothered to call me back. There goes for courts caring for its customers. Secondly I was lied to and given a misguided warranty talk about how good the warranty is... When courts want to sell you somethin they will sweet talk you into giving your money. But when something happens to your courts product. What does courts do. Nothing. Not even replying to you. When asked what can I do, cos I just want to solve my current tv screen crack problem. Courts suggested that I buy a new tv from them.
To all those out there who is seeing this email. Please do not trust courts and its sellers who just want to sell you anything and refuse their aftersell service. Because for courts there is no aftersell service.

I bought Lenovo laptop with extended warranty too. my screen and case cracked because of accident. I cannot find details of the warranty now. It seems like whatever they told us, we have to accept. This is fraud. They told me only the screen is covered, case crack is not covered. This is nonsense.
Currently I'm paying for my past debt of which I have started paying since last year.Somewhere last year also, suddenly i received a call from 'Tuan Hj Ridzuan' who insisted me to pay the outstanding at once (5k++) as if I have that much money in my pants at that time.After several calls of negotiation, I firmly said I don't have that much money (not even 3k or 1k as what he insisted me to pay after he failed making me paying the 5k++) and that I will continue with the monthly payment which I've been doing long before that.That's the last I heard from him except for his occasional texts asking me to fax payment receipt as a proof of payment (and this also I didn't adhere to...don't tell me he can't liaise directly with Courts to get the updates on my payment/account (I was told that these 'Tuan/Tuan Haji' guy(s) are 'lawyer' @ debt collector appointed by Courts to do their dirty jobs.)
Now, after almost a year of the incident, I got a long texts (funny it was sent out from 3 different numbers!) insisting me to pay the current outstanding amount..or else Courts' laywer will start civil proceeding against me, blacklist my name within 72hrs without notice with all banks and eventually all my existing and in progress (if any) loans and credit/debit card will also be suspended/canceled.Whatever they do, I believe law will always protect the right side i.e client, as long as you do your part paying the outstanding regardless of the methods (lump sum or installment) and have proof(s).
I too conned into buying extended warranty for a acer laptop. I found crack on the case and bring up for service and told that extended warranty does not cover case, a different story told when I made the purchase. I was told everything covered except lost .
Cannot blame Courts for everything and anything. Sure, the Extended Warranty is offered to customers to cover repairs and replacement parts and in part, accidental damages within the speculated time frame.
Its the sales personnel who, more often than not, lack the knowledge and details of the deal ! Perhaps, Courts, can reimburse partial cost, if not, full, if the said warranty purchased was indeed for five years as conveyed by the sales personnel. Of course, Courts will need to investigate first, the details of the deal.
However, I for one was thankfull to, indeed, purchased an extended warranty from Courts, for a set of Lenovo laptop and after using it for three years, was given a replacement for a new motherboard without much ado.
This goes to show that Courts does held up its end of the deal, but not necessarily that of its sales personnel who spice up the deal.

I bought a an msi lap top for my brother on the 6th of February at courts mammoth cheras.
my first purchase at courts mammoth cheras.
I paid a deposit of RM 250 and was told the lap top can be collected in a few days time.
What irked me was on the day that my brother wanted to collect the laptop, the 8th of September, he paid the outstanding amount and was nonchalantly told to find the sales rep himself to get the lap top.
No assistance was offered! no directions or information as to where he can locate the sales rep was offered. He called to inform me of the situation, where i, then called courts.
The first call was at 4.58 pm.
surprise, surprise, the "extremely friendly" courts staff, transfered my call and hung up on me. "so professional!"
the second call was at 5.01 pm
I called again, upset now. and directly told the staff who picked up that I called a few minutes ago and someone hung up on me. after I finally got thorough although I had to wait a few minutes on the line. the person on the line sounded bored and uninterested in my request for assistance. I asked if she could page or call the sales rep (its their staff, for heavens sake) repeated in the same bored tone that I have to call the sales person (their staff!) myself.
my congratulations to the lady who answered my call and the staff who hung up on me, all the courts mammoth cheras representative who answered my request for assistance, what a "stellar show" of customer service. I am in a service based and customer centric business line too, and I know as well as anyone knows, basic courtesy, and treat your customers politely and with respect, you represent the company and not just yourself.
hope courts will do something about this.

I bought a fridge, sofa and washing machine from Courts Mammoth Kota Damansara (Infront Tesco). Their delivery guy called saying they will arrive on saturday 12 noon... I told him ok... I only free 9-1pm only. Its a new house, I need to purposely go there at 12noon... waited until 12.30... they never came... I called him, he didn't answer my call. I called the salesroom guy... he said will check for me. OK... after 15min, the salesguy called me and say the delivery need to be postponed to 4pm...! I say can not, I told him i'm not free after 1pm... so ended up arrange for sunday 12 noon on the next day... again I went to the new house but no delivery guy there... the same process repeated again... I called up the salesguy... he answer me need to postponed to 4pm... why they agreed on 12 noon earlier? twice? what are they doing? expect customer to wait there whole day for them?..
so now they say will "arrange asap"... lol... it means nothing to me anymore... they can change their mind on the last minute... whoever planning to buy from this Kota Damansara Courts, think twice... until now after a week... no call from them.
Whoever plan to call their delivery guy can skip it cause he will never answer your call.. don't waste your time buying from them.

I wanna bought a air conditioner with the price RM1199 today. That time comes a salesman to serve me. He explain about the detail of the product that we wan to buy. We have asked about the period of the warranty twice and he said 5 years without mentioning about the additional charges due to the extended period of the warranty. But when he print the Agreement and ask me to execute it, then only I knew that a lot of charges is included the charges for the extended warranty. When I ask him to cancel the order, he said he can't do it because he already key in the system and print it out. I don't understand why he can't cancel and remove it from the system? Is there any system the is no "delete" function? He still ask me to execute the Agreement even thought I ask him to cancel the order. What kind of rule is that?

Saya baru2 ni kita kat malaysia kan kena hadap pkp.. Masalah kewangan memang mendesak masa pkp.. So barang banyak tertunggak.. Bayar bulanan court ni baru 89.00 sebulan dan 39.00 bayar warranty. Tertunggak dari bulan 3 kita start pkp.. Skali tengok amount tertunggak total Rm2030 untuk barang dan rm1090 untuk warranty.. Bar berapa bulan dh amount tertungak pandai beranak sampai total ni.. Dorang ni memang ah long.. Piki2 lah harga barang jdi total tertunggak macam ni.. Macam mana pengiraan sampai boleh besar macam ni.. Ni pun kewangan baru nak stabil nak kena bayar total 3k mana dapat.. Sedang kan gaji baru 1.5k.. Tak makan lah selama sebulan..

I have been a customer of Courts for the past few years and I always make sure that I pay every month between 25th -27th. Yet, I used to receive calls from the main office and this particular number(+[protected]) this month regularly stating that I purposely delaying my payment. These calls and text messages have been very irritating me especially during my working hours . Furthermore, if I make any return calls to the particular number, nobody is answering. For your information, I am a government servant and I have my responsibilities as a customer. Please don't irritate with text messages from the five digits number(66688) and these particular personal calls any longer or I will have to decide stop dealing with Courts anymore in future.Thank you.

Siapa kata courts tidak amik tindakan. saya pernah kena masuk di mahkamah jalan duta pada 13/11/2014 di dakwa di bawah kes kehutangan sivil. walaupun hutang saya dalam rm 3k je. tetap kena bayar dlm extra 7k sbb tanggung kos guam and mahkamah mcm palat. saya ingat kan benda ni boleh di elakkan. but see ? courts mammoth ni dia amik tindakan cuma xsemua customer dia amik tindakan. and sbelum saya masuk mahkamah pun kena freeze akaun kot. sbb kita hutang dgn pihak syarikat bukan bank. mmg sial punya courts mammoth. kalau korang tak percaya korang tunggu jela. confirm 1 day korang kena. nak lawan mahkamah diarang ada bukti kita sign agreement. apa saya nak ckp is kita dah terperangkap dengan diarang ni. nak taknak terpaksa la bayar hutang ni. ini kisah benar guys.
Moral of the story: Buy with cash what you can afford. It is not wise to buy small items like furniture & electrical item by credit as the interest charges is high.
Boleh saya tahu, di atas segala masalah yg dinyatakan, adakah sebarang tindakan yg diambil terhadap pihak courts mammoth oleh pihak bertanggungjawab memandangkan komplen adalah konsisten. I bought a set of Sofa and a fridge from Courts Mammoth Shah Alam on Friday 11Dec 2009, after finish making the full payment, they inform me that they will send the goods to my house in less then 5 days time, but after waited for more then 1 week the sofa and the fridge is never send to me. I called to the staff in charge, she said she doesn’t know and she is waiting for the transportation company to call her. With such excuse, if the transportation company doesn’t call her, I worry that I will never get my things. I regretted that I buy from Courts Mammoth, a worst, I made the full payment. Now I have no choice but to wait and wait.

I face the same problem.I bought bedroom set on October by cash. I've received the item BUT UNCOMPLETED. When I asked the sales person when she said will checked back. But until a month I still didn't get any feedback. I've to call many times which but also very hard to pick up. Last month they said there is no stock and will be replaced with other model. But untill now I still didn't get any news about the replacement. I've tried to call the sales person but could not be reached. It's been almost 3 months but I still didn't get the full set!What kind of service is that!Really dissapointed...will not reccomend anyone to buy things at Courts anymore!

I hate this services rendered by courts mammoth, they say other things and yet do other things. On the promotion they say delivery shall be done immediately within 24 hours or one or 2 days, but yet they send the items after a week. When asked at the point of buying they say the stock is widely available, but when at the point of delivery, they say out of stock. The worst of a kind this people, offering a stupid services, if collect debt they can call you 3 - 5 times in a day even send you a message, it is not as if we don't pay but because at times we are busy so the payment might be late a week from the usual date, they will start hunting you like nobody business. I think courts mammoth have to look into their sales personnel profile, because they are all very rude, as if they are the owner of the product, and furthermore, are you all sure that all the items in the shop are first hand? in fact most of the staff have used the items, for instance, they surf on the displayed laptop, play music on the stereo and tv... etc, so don't u think that it is already a second had?... One more thing is that almost 80% of the sales staff are rude and have attitude problem... wonder where did they recruit this people, they don't even greet you or they didn't even salute you politely. I always see this in Miri Courts Mammoth, most of the time I saw them walking up and down, making jokes here and there, smoking here and there and playing with some of the items in the shop. Is this a good ethics for such a big company. I would suggest to all future buyer of courts Mammoth, if you have choice please don't come to courts mammoth, or else you will regret it for the rest of your life, or else it maybe ur first and the last time to buy things from them by loan. Best is buy cash but make sure the quality is assured.

I heard that courts mammoth debt collector really rude when they force to trace balance . For the guarantor third party they will disturb with horrible wording and very disturbing . Plus item that sold mention could be better price but in the end of the day it can be supper horrible price . Don't buy from them anymore
wow, i just thought of buying a new led tv from courts.after reading all the reviews i decided not too.Btw i am living in johor bahru town and courts is just located afew minutes away.but never mind i think i;ll drive to tun aminah to buy my tv there although it takes about 45 mins with the jams and all.I hope courts improve someday.
Courts Mammoth has the worst customer service ever. My purchase has not been delivered! No one called to schedule a delivery. I have submitted numerous enquiry forms and have been calling their hotline everyday! No replies. My calls either get cancelled or it just goes on hold for the longest period any calls could go on hold. This is definitely my first and final purchase with Courts Mammoth. Sadly, I have made the full payment.

Courts mammoth puchong has offered for a cashback cheque within 3months after purchase. Have been following up with Courts HQ. They have been giving proper update and follwing up on my case.Guess what ? Courts mammoth puchong has lost my cheque and not taking responsibilty of the lost. The checque was sent from the courts HQ on 11september.Today is already the 24th November. When called courts puchong their reply was- " Ex branch manager dah transfer branch lain, masa kita bersih bilik dia banyak barang kami dah buang. Lagipun apa2 cheque diterima atas name branch manager Encik Noel kami tak buka. Encik noel dah pindah ke branch lain. Kami cuba call dia, dia terus potong panggilan kami" . Is this an excuse i should accept?When i asked when the cheque can be reissued, the answer was "TAK TAHU.KAMI TAK BOLEH CAKAP" . I've bought a fridge and a washing machine in Courts Mammoth Miri, Sarawak on Monday. It was suppose to be sent to me on Teusday afternoon and I even bought the DISPLAYED washing machine hoping they will send it as fast as it should, plus, they said the fridge is in stock.
Sadly, I havent received the goods up until now - Wednesday and I havent received any news from Courts Mammoth Miri of my case. I've waited every lunch hour (Teusday & Wednesday) waiting for my things to arrive and frustatingly it never did. I've tried to contact the staff and the MANAGER but seems like he always be gone like 3hours in the afternoon for whatever reason I don't want to know.
Why they hv to take so many days just to send a fridge and the DISPLAYED washing machine in 12km distance house? I believe Courts Mammoth is an 'international' company but sadly, the standard is way below par even for local furniture store..
The incompetency of Courts Mammoth Miri staffs and manager had seriously wasted my time.

i agree with you ...and the worst of a kind they keep pushing you one to another and another to another, i think this complaint have to be made publicly or else they will never improve. They also can be sued for misrepresentation, because as they had mentioned, if you are already approved for loan then the delivery should be within 24 hours but yet it takes up to 168 hours the least. If can buy cash sure also won't go there but better go to other company that offer the same facilities but better than courts mammoth.
Updates - they said they're going to deliver my stuffs at 3pm on Wednesday and they came at 6.30pm .. i have to leave my workplace at 3pm and wasted my 3.5hours waiting for them. Called Courts Mammoth during tht time and the managers seems to be away all the time and they couldnt contact the lorry driver coz the handphone was off... and i have to cancel my appointments tht evening because of the supidness and not to mentioned, reputation and downtime work productivity because i had to leave early from work..
Courts Mammoth Miri staffs and managers are very incompetent. If you wan to buy electric goods (even its a fridge and the DISPLAYED washing machine), go elsewehere... unless you have high tolerance of incompetencies...

Send in for repair under warranty period, they failed to fix it.
Asked to refund in full, yet they rejected. At the end, I had to get the authority to issue "court order", then only they refund partially.
Bad customer service still and refund only at the last minute.
Don't send more good money after bad money.

I have made a refund on 13th May 2019, at Courts Miri. I was inform that the refund has been validate by the Account department on 31st May 2019, but yet still not receive anything from Courts Miri.

Hi,
I purchase a sofa set, a laptop and a double decker bed from court mammoth somewhere in 2009.
I manage to pay off my bed and sofa set in full amounting RM7k plus in Damansara. (I lost the receipt due to shifting house twice)
I couldn't pay my laptop though and they took it back.
Now after 6years, I been receiving constant callings and threats to come to my office to collect cash of RM5k.
To be honest I can't pay now and I told them that and to take action but they keep calling and insisting to pay.
What is going to happen if I cant pay now?
