Costco Wholesale Canada review: Hearing aid service

Today I went into my local Costco store to set up an audiology meeting for new BiCros hearing aids. I was informed by the Audiology Dept. receptionist that they could not serve me because I owed them money.
They said they had phoned me several times to let me know I owed money but I had not responded. This may be true because I do not answer the phone because of my hearing disability.
They said the reason I owed money was due to my not paying for repairs to my present hearing aids which I had done in January 202. However, I was told that the repairs were free. They now tell me that they are only free if they are covered by the WCB (Workmens Compensation Board). They said I I had l? ead them I was covered by the WCB?
