Costco tire center

My husband called this AM to inquire about getting Bridgestone tires installed. The sales guy said the tires were in stock. He scheduled an appointment. My husband drove there (which is a 45 minute drive) and was told that he could not get the Bridgestone tires. So, he turned around and came home. Very disappointing and frustrating. The sales guy should of known what tires were in stock before my husband drove all the he way to Costco for his appointment.

Costco pharmacy mail order services

At the beginning of June, I processed a pharmacy order for the first time, through your mail order service. It was for a prescription I had been on for twelve years.

About four days later, I noticed a $90 charge on my debit card. Apparently, there is a $30 co-pay per month for my prescription. I was never informed of this by Costco. I received no e-mail or phone call. My previous mail order company had no copay and they only provided one month's supply at a time. I had not even received the prescription yet by mail at this time.

I called me bank to dispute the charge and marked "return to sender refused" on the package when it arrived, and gave it to the USPS. It has now been over two weeks and your mail order customer service is saying they have not received the package. The return address is one town away (I live in Riverside, it was returned to your Corona processing center) so it appears it may be lost in the mail.

I am not able to get my prescription filled at my local pharmacy until Costco reverses the claim. My prescription provider Navitus (insurance is actually Anthm Blue Cross) says you, Costco, must reverse the claim. Navitus stated that since it has been two weeks, Costco should be reversing this claim so my local pharmacy can file a claim and I can have my prescription filled.

This is my first experience with Costco mail order and it has been terrible. It is making me think of cancelling our personal and business membership with Costco in general.

I am requesting this claim be reversed at this time, so I don't run out of my prescription. Customer service has been unwilling to do this, although two weeks have passed.

Costco kirkland olive oil

I used to buy your Kirkland Olive Oil in a glass bottle. All you have available now is in plastic bottles. I'll buy again when glass bottles return. I try to avoid plastic as much ch as possible and have heard that olive oil is best stored in a class container. I have no idea whether your plastic bottles are BPA free or not, but even if it is, I prefer glass. I've been very disappointed about this because I read somewhere in a review that your olive oil is the real deal. It just needs different packaging to satisfy me.

Costco hp ink cartridge refills

I have been purchasing my HP ink cartridges, refilled ink cartridges and HP printers from Costco for several years. I currently have a HP Photosmart 6525 printer.

I thought you should be aware that a recent HP printer software update detects a refilled HP cartridge as being refilled and reads it as a non-HP cartridge.

As a result, the printer will not print from this cartridge. Additionally, their customer service just told me that refilled cartridges void the warranty. I thought you should be aware of this moving forward with your business relationship with HP.

I know Costco always puts its customer first and this new HP policy does not seem to coincide with your overall customer service business practices.

Additionally, the software update occurred AFTER the HP warranty expired, but even though this is a software created issue, they will not support the problem without paying a fee.

I just thought you should be aware of this situation.

Thank you for taking a look at this.

Costco tire department must all be deaf or out to lunch

I stopped monday at the Costco in Camillus New York and asked for the final cost on a set of Micheline run flat tires. These tires are very very expensive. The tire guy told me the price would be $1253.47 and they do not stock the size I need for my BMW the tire size is 255-50-R19 -107H. He told me if I decided to purchase them from Costco to call and they would order them. He went on to say it would take 7-10 days to get the tires. I called multiple times today and NO ONE WOULD ANSWER THE PHONE. After several attempts I called and requested an person to walk over and tell the tire department to wake up and answer their phone. They put me back in the "Q" and another 12 minutes went by. I hung up and called again. A girl answered and when I asked it anyone was alive in the tire department she answered they are busy. I told her how long and how many times I had called. When I was there on Monday the guy gave me all the information needed. It was not like he was going to have to go through a sales pitch. Just order the tires... it isn't like I m buying a dollar item, I m buying $1300 worth of tires.

Costco seasonal wrought iron chair, table & bench

This is NOT a complaint but a request. Will you bring back the black seasonal wrought iron chairs that I believe are either a Costco or Kirkland brand? Costco usually had the wrought iron table, chairs & bench that were sold separately.
Please, please consider bringing back that style & brand.
Thank you for your consideration. I look forward to seeing these products back next year.

Costco costco tire center norwalk, ca

How is that a company as large and successful as Costco only have 1 employee to interface with a sea of customers. I have experienced this a couple of times in the past thinking it was just a snafu. But now I can see that it is an upright managerial mistake. I'm not sure who is responsible for managing the tire center in Norwalk, CA. The decision/lack of attention to this issue is concerning. While big companies get a bad rep for cutting costs, this certainly is the case for the Costco tire center. With people that have full time jobs and full time families, it is impossible to spend so much time here. I am seriously disappointed in Costco and I hope that your conglomerate can gather a few pennies to hire more service representatives. I am currently standing in line with 6 people in front of me. Each customer takes an average of at least 10 minutes. So you're saying that waiting an hour in line is okay? Please respond to my email at djoseph.[protected]@gmail.com to know that there is someone on the other end who can relay this message to the right person.

Thanks.

Also, someone should alphebatize your category section. What a very rookie mistake.

Costco optical desk

Frances or Francis at the optical desk in the san dimas costco gave us the worst customer service ever. Very rude and cold when asked simple questions. Started helping other customers and gave them better customer service and wasted our time as he gave us false information. Will not be coming back and will spread the word of this horrible attitude and service.

Costco citi visa card - bad customer service at chat and toll free 855#

I don't have problem with the Visa card but I experienced terrible customer service at chat session when I was on the Internet paying for the balance. Then I experienced "no response" from their [protected] .

It appears to me that chat session and 800 number from Citi Visa are just "check list items" for them but they are not properly staffed to provide real service.

It appears to me the person handling the chat session was not properly trained nor qualified to answer credit card related questions. Worst yet, there is no way to identify the session I experienced. There was no session ID number I can refer to when I am talking about this unpleasant experience.

I asked to chat with a supervisor and was told no supervisor was available (in the middle of a business Monday) and I was told to call the 855 number.

I called this 855 number on June 19, 2017, 12:27 PM California Time. Talked with a lady who told me she is a supervisor, she tried to connect me with the supervisor on the chat department and was not able to. She asked my number and told me the chat supervisor will call me.

No call at all.

This may not be a service directly provide by COSTCO but by choosing your service vendor, the service received reflected badly on the brand.

Current setup (No session ID, no feedback method at the end of chat session...) also makes it very difficult to provide feedback to COSTCO about our experience dealing with your service vendor.

I have the chat log but I don't want to post it in public because it relates to my credit card.

I like the chat supervisor call me. or having a number from COSTCO that I can talk to directly on this matter.

Thank you.

Costco optical

I think your system for picking up glasses prescriptions is ludicrous. It's Friday night at 6pm and I'm number 65 & customer number 59 is being served. No one has called a new number in the 15 minutes that I've been waiting.
I find his wait time completely unreasonable. You should at least have a system in place to allow customers to shop while they wait for their number to be called.
This problem really needs to be fixed.

Costco customer service

Most days are Costco are crazy but today was worse. Checking out you expect to be greeted, i was not, no eye contact even. She proceeded to scan and place several small items in my cart, you don't ask about boxes anymore? It was ridiculous traveling to and from my car to carry so many things that could have been placed in a box. No one asked, no one made eye contact for me to ask. Once she was done scanning she didn't even tell me my total, she just sat there waiting for me to scan my card, i had to look at what my total was. Today at Costco was ridiculous. Horrible customer service

Costco https://www.usatoday.com/pages/interactives/news/rigged-forced-into-debt-worked-past-exhaustion-left-with-nothing/

My family is an avid Costco shopper. We always look at Costco first. I know that Costco has already done the research for me and picked the best products. I also love that Costco gives great careers to its employees (who work hard and efficiently...I see it). I feel horrible shopping at Walmart because I know they treat their employees bad. I'm beyond disappointed to see Costco name on this report. I expect Costco to look into this and have a public response.

Respectfully,

I am highly sensitive to MSG and the consumers should be made aware of anything being added to fish. Or any other chemical being added for and various reason. Fish was purchased and eaten two days later. Thanking you in advance for any information you can provide. Sincerely Diana Posch.

Costco employee behavior

Hello,
I was at the Costco in Livermore, CA on independence Dr. at about 6pm on Wednesday, June 14th when I approached a receipt checker to ask a question about the food court. The woman checking receipts at the door was incredibly rude to me and kept interrupting me and telling me to enter through the other door over and over again while almost shouting at me! Had she taken the time to even let me ask my question she would have realized I wasn't even trying to enter and was simply inquiring about the food court. Diana was the name on her name tag. I hope a supervisor or manager speaks with Diana soon about her behavior because it was the worst customer service I have ever received by far and I am a paying Costco member! If this is the kind of service I receive for my membership fees then the fees are definitely not worth the hassle.

Costco employees

I was in your Washington DC location (store 1120) today 06/14/2017 and my experience didn't go so well towards the end of my trip. Let's start with the cashier (Anthony) he was GREAT very nice made small talk with me and joked! But before I got to him I saw a big puddle or water or something in the aisle by the vision department and then once I checked out I went to the food court and almost broke my neck trying to get around another big spill and while I was there one of your cashiers (jeanquie) was just plain rude didn't smile and when I asked could I get something in my ice cream and that I would pay for it she said NO! I explained to her that I always get it and I pay extra she didn't want to hear anything that I was saying so I decided not to get anything. I proceeded to customer service where and employee (Karen) was working once I reached the desk she asked me what did I need I said can I speak with a manager she said tell me what it's about so I can know who to call I said it's about the store. She then called a manager while waiting another employee that was working the desk ask what the problem was and Karen responded by saying very rude/ sarcastically (I don't know she wants a manger I don't know) as if I wasn't standing right in front of her. The other employee (a women) was very nice and helpful and she said she was a supervisor. I began to explain to her my concerns and then a manger by the name of Frank walked up and I had to explain to him my concerns and he said he would take care of it. He reassured me that it would be taken care of, but I still wanted to let the company know about my experience in this location.

Costco tire rotation service

Driver window would not back up and stucked at half way after tire rotation service. We brought the Rav 4 in for tire rotation at Costco 595 S Galleria Way Chandler, AZ 85226 around 1 pm on Jun 12, 2017 with the window door in good working condition and the door was closed all the way up. I received a phone call from a tech at 2:33pm stated the car is ready for pick up. When we came inside to get the key and paper work a technician handed me the paper work with a note "driver window started to go down and would not go back up again". I asked the manager what happened? My window was fine when we brought the car in for service and now the window broke. He said they did not do nothing and it's just broke ( what a coincidence!). We requested a view from surveillance camera because we wanted to know what really happened to the window but they did not allow us to see it from the time they started working on our car to finished. After our discussion the auto tire manager went to talk to the store manager and came back and tell us " if the cost of repair is less than $150 we will take care of it but if it is over $150 you have to submit claim to corporate". My wife asked him to write on the paper what he said however he refused to do it and finally made us to fill out the incident report. The next day I received the call from [protected], this guy refused to take responsibility on it. He again said exactly what the auto tire manager told him that it was broken on its own. We are totally unsastified with his response and the way that Costco and its employees handled this situation. If they didn't break it, they needed to prove it, but they did not! (They broke one of the wheel covers on my other car before). If they didn't break the window why then the store manager offered us they would handle it at the store if the cost for repair is less than $150. I told the guy at the corporate about that and wanted him to talk to the store/auto tire manager, however he said he didn't know and didn't want to get involved. They all now walked away with it, totally! We have bought 10 tires in the last 4 years, now they lost our trust with Costco.

Costco unethical behavior inside and outside the workplace

I shop at Costco on Rusty Road in St. Louis on a regular basis. I always swing by the deli department, but recently started to slack off due to the worker behind the counter during the day. She is the rudest person I have ever come across and I am going to find somewhere else to do my shopping for everything. I believe her name is Anna, she used to have dark hair now it is kind of reddish. However, she is very unprofessional and rude and if I see what I saw in the parking lot today I will call the police. I don't know if she was coming to work or leaving because after I watched her light what I thought was a cigarette but when I drove by it looked as though it was a pipe of some kind. The only pipes I know of is the kind my grandfather used to smoke tobacco out of but this was definitely not one of those. Maybe whatever she is smoking is causing her to be rude and unaware of her surroundings because my grandson was also watching her and then asked me what she was doing.
I will not return to the store on Rusty Road ever again. I do not want anything in return, however I think the employees should pay attention to who is around them.

Costco fruit

My kids got sick and kept throwing up all day. I assumed it was the stomach flu but noticed they were throwing up what looked like mango chunks. I normally buy mangos from Costco and my kids love them and I allow my kids to just grab fruit whenever they are done with chores or when they get home from school. I started asking my 6 year old if he can remember eating anything that made him sick and he said he only ate a mango. I decided to grab a mango from the box and cut it open. What I found was disgusting and disappointing! I will copy pictures below but I started cutting into all of them and they all were rotten and made my kids sick! I called customer service about it and was told it was my fault for allowing my kids to eat the mangos if it looked rotten. First of all my 6 year old would not know the difference and is old enough to grab snacks on his own. How dare that be the type of customer service I receive especially after sharing my kids aweful experience they had and throwing up with the runs. This is NOT ACCEPTABLE buyers BEWARE!

Costco cell phone

I am a Costco member and I purchased a cell phone plan with my son at the Costco Wholesale cell phone desk in the store at the Sheridan location. I was given information for a plan for AT&T which included 4 Iphone 7's and the unlimited data plan since I bundled it with my Directv. I was told that through the special promotion that AT&T had through Costco each Iphone would cost $4 a month after paying the full price for the first two months of service. I would then be credited 21.00 per phone back the third month of service and my bill would be significantly lower. I was told that in addition to the $4 Iphones, that I would also have the unlimited plan for $180 a month for a total of $196 per month due to the $4 per phone times four lines. I paid the very high bill for the first two months and expected to see my account credited back the difference between the regular price and the promotion that Costco had told me I was in, so $24-$20, $20 times 4=$80x2months= $160 expected credit. My bill however in the third month came to be $290 and stayed that way ever since and has not been credited at all as promised. I have tried to reach the Costco cell phone manager directly, but they do not have a current manager in place. I have talked to the representatives at the cell phone booth and they have told me they cannot help me and that they do not have any idea what plan I was set up in. After trying to contact the cell phone booth directly, I tried to reach out to AT&T and they told me since it was done through Costco I needed to go back in and talk to the cell phone manager at Costco (even though they don't have one currently). I did go back into Costco and told the employees to have the floating manager contact me as soon as possible, I never heard back from anyone. The final step I took was I reached out to the Costco store manager who gave me the phone number for the regional cell phone manager. I left a message and he never called me back. I cannot get anyone to help me, thus I am writing the BBB

Costco tire center

I brought my truck into the tire center today 6/12/17. I had a small leak in one of my rear tires and I needed all my tires rotated and balanced...I was told when I dropped it off that this service would take no more then 1 and a half hours. So I walked into costco and spent over $500 dollars. I dropped the truck off at 3:30 and checked out at 5:13. Upon walking back to the tire center, now with two carts full of stuff, I waited 6th in line to speak with the only guy behind the counter. After another 10 minutes of waiting I finally got to ask the cashier about when my truck would be ready and to my surprise his response was they just pulled it back and it would be at least another 30 minutes before it was done. At that point it was already 5:30, 2 hours after I initially dropped my truck off and they hadn't even started working on it yet. But what choice did I have beside wait...do I did. At 5:55 they finally pulled my truck around and handed me the keys. I would normally let this all go and sum it up to life experience, however upon getting back home I realized that alot of my meat and dairy products have gotten warm and don't look so good...so all in all what would have been a 15 min repair at discount Tire has turned into almost 3 hours of my time and at least $150 in wasted meat and dairy products. But now that I know how terrible the tire center is I will not be spending $1000 with costco to replace all four of my tires regardless of the free rotations, since apparently it takes them half a day to do it
