Truworths review: truworths is selling us poor quality clothes at expensive prices 48

I recently opened up a Truworths account .

To my horror , I have received a policy about Account Protection .

After various telephone , it appears that this is compulsory and cannot be canceled.

Surely this is not legal

I bought clothes, a skirt, jacket and shoes for my niece. But she passed away vefore her birthday in the 18th of September. Because I have been occupied with the funeral I did not have a chance to return the goods.

I bought the clothes on 24 Aug and wanted to return it on 26 Sept and the people at the shop refused to take it back.

I bought pajamas do my son at truworths and they were torn after my son worn them twice I send them back to the store and then I was told that they sending the product back to their head office for review and they called me saying it was rejected so I am not happy with the outcome want my refund

I will like to thank Eunice at ClearWater Mall for her good customer service.She opened the door for when the shop it was about to close.

Hi there. I bought Olympia perfume at wonderpark for R 2 700 3 weeks back. Wow it doesn't smell at all,it is so weak. What a waist of my money. I regret buying such an expensive perfume for nothing.

I have brought the black formal shoes, last month and I've wore it a few times. And the back is already open and the shoe heal is broken in half already

The incident happened at Vereeniging Truworths at 13h50.i went to the store with the intention of paying my account but I was denied entrance by the security and one of the employees who told me that he is opening for customers who are going out only.i feel very disappointed by the treatment that I received.

As we all keep time and your stores not doing the same thing.

I have paid my account with Truworths in the beginning of April and send the proof of payment to Truworths. Now all of a sudden I get numerous calls stating that I did not pay my account.

Good evening, I'm very disappointed on quality of your underwears, I bought them on the 22/02/2023 I wore it once Nd it's torn. Spending so much money (R300) on them was a waste of money. It's a pack of 3 I wore 1. Wish I can return d other 2 Nd have a full refund.

I have been paying my account every month with an arrangement of R500 every month, now i get an sms that says my account has been handed over i don't understand why, if am paying every month why is the account being handed over as if may not paying everything month do i have to report this somewhere else... Good day I have just done a credit check and there's a default on my name for identity account I paid off in 2017... I want this sorted out ASAP please. I've emailed ********** a week ago but received no feedback. This is ridiculous!

The staff in the store have no sense of urgency. They are chatting to themselves. There are two till on the men's side but one is operational with two staff working in one till.

I opened a truworths acc to buy a cellphone not knowing that i could not buy it within the first 6 months of having the acc

I bought an item on 50 percent sale.I paid R180.I went to.Newcastle today to swop it for a bigger size and I was told that it is R240 and the 50percent sale is over.Original price is R320.I feel that because I only did a stop I must be entitle to the price I paid for.I am very unhappy and also a loyal customer of you see my account.

I Bought items on 4 December 2018. I tried to return some of them yesterday 07 January and Truworths Mafikeng mall refused to take them back because 30 days has passed. I would have return them earlier but the place I went to did not have Truworths hence I only returned them yesterday.

I have bought a Phone from the gateway branch. On the 18-12-2018
I have tried to use the phone it keeps rebooting and overheating.
I have come to the branch on the 20th
And they refused to swap it or refund me. I was told if I have a problem with it within 7

Sandton truworths has 15 ppl in tge queue and 2 cashiers. The managers response is that there is no cashier available to help as everyone is assisting on the floor. After asking her 5 times if she can assist to cashier does she go to a till.

On the 25th October 2018, 10:10, I stood in the queue at Truworths Golden Walk until 10:40.
There was only one teller. Instead of the manager assisting as a teller, she was removing the tags.
She was very nonchalant about the terrible service. When I asked her why there was only one teller, she said the rest of the staff would be in at 11:00.

I placed an order for a pair of shoe and i was told it will take 3 week. Now its the forth week and when i went to the shop they told me that it hasn't been placed yet.
