TracFone Wireless tracfone took away over 1400 minutes of talk, text and some data and refused to reinstate it.

On december 7, 2017 I activated a new tracfone. My old phone still had over 1400 minutes of talk and text as well as 0.25 gigs of data left on it and did not expire until january 22, 2018. With my new tracfone I got 1200 minutes of talk and text along with 1.2 gigs of data. Once the new tracfone was activated all the remaining balances were added to my new phone which gave me over 2600 minutes of talk, text and about 1.45 gigs of data. All was good! Then I get this e-mail from tracfone saying my phone had been disconnected. So, I go to my online account to check things out and before you know it, I had balances of zero for talk, text and data. I called tracfone the find out what is going on and after 3 hours on the phone and about 6 different people including a so-called manager, they would only give me back 1195 minutes of talk, 2608 text and 1.37 gigs of data. Some how they had lost track of everything that was transferred from my other phone and said my other phone had nothing left on it. I told them that I had a screen shot from my phone that showed my talk, text and data before it was all lost with the time, date stamp and my phone number on the my account tracfone app., but that did not matter they refused to give me back the time that was lost. This a total scam on the part of tracfone! How can they get away with stealing time off your phone that you have paid for? The so-called manager I last talked to virtually said this is what you are getting back, take it or leave it. He said there was nothing else tracfone would do to resolve the issue. This phone fraud on the part of tracfone and some need to take them to court.

I have attached a screen shot from my tracfone before the issue and another screen shot of what tracfone wanted to give me as a solution.

TracFone Wireless customer service

On November 11, 2017 bought my son an 120 min card. It did not go though. I called they told me that his Sims card expired. The minutes where sent to a phone he has not used in over 6months. After talking to 3 people the last man proceed to laugh at me, I told him if anything happened to my child that I was holding Tracfone responsible. they sent me a new sims, that was also expired after 3 weeks of this issue of sending and receiving sims not for his phone or expired. My husband and I bought him a new phone. Called them yet again. Got his number transferred to new phone after we hung up I noticed the 120 min card was not added. Called yet again to be told sorry but that card has been added to transfer. No it hasn't. After asking for a supervisor and being on hold for ten minutes they hung up on my.

I would like to be refunded the price of the new phone $ 59.00as well as the price $ 29.00 of the min card.
Really not impressed with Tracfone at this moment. I have been a user for almost ten years. If this is the way your company is ran I plain to get a different companies.

TracFone Wireless service/sales

On Nov 30, 2017, I Bought 2 Galaxy Phone from the Tracfone website, they Promised overnight delivery but they never showed up it has been a week now and still no phone, talked for over 6 hours on Tuesday, December 5th on both Facebook mgr. and on the phone, talked to numerous Customer Service agents and got three different ticket numbers and empty Promise's we ill let you know in 24-48 hours here it is 50 hours later and not even an email, 55.02 dollars out of a very tight budget, to a company for nothing, and C/S from hell that cant brush you off fast enough. And nobody to talk to about it Maybe someone here will find a reason to take action.

I had the exact same situation as someone else here. Ordered a phone on black Friday, it never came. Spent hours and hours on the phone with them, was told I would get an answer later in the day, never did, was told to wait 24-48 hours, did, called back, told to wait 3-5 days, did. Never got anything but empty promises. I was told the phone would be here today, but when I called today, they said that they were not sending the phone, and never would. They told me to reorder the phone, but it is now full price. They refuse not only to honor the original price, but to even let me speak with someone who had the power to do anything about this. I have read this same complaint from others on facebook. I think it was a big scam to get people to order phones, and then jack up the price and make them reorder them! I'm contacting my Senator, the FCC and the BBB.

TracFone Wireless tracfone

I ordered a Tracfone on 24 NOV 2017, when it arrived on Tuesday, I spent over 2.5 hours on Phone, and they said it could not be Activated, after being sent from4 diff depts., I was giving a Ref Nr and call back next day, I did with No results, I called next day again wasted 2 hours going dept tp dept, then next day I was told to remove sim card, Fl 33484 their was none, so the girl had one sent to me 3 days wasted again, when It came in I inserted it, after 2 hours on phone I was assured they would put the 1500 Minutes for one year, I never did get a Pin Card with phone, so same old story, tonite I was sent to 7 diff depts., when the last one tried to send me to the 8th, I said NO I have other family members who needed to use my landline, The order number5646845 dated 24 NOV 17, shows that I paid for the Phone and 1500 minutes. TracFone Wireless tracfone

I purchased $21.00 of data last week. It was put in my phone within a 1/2 hour. Trouble is, within the next hour it was gone, along with all my texts and all my minutes! Just gone. I have called Chat help and am irate over the whole situation. I had 3000+ minutes and 10000+ texts. Chat help inferred that I was defrauding Tracfone and told me to call some fraud number. They should have been aware that with everything gone, I could make no phone calls.
I have been a Tracfone customer since 2005 except for a couple of years when I received another phone as a gift. I used it for a while but was anxious to get back to tracfone. In fact, I have a new Samsung Tracfone due tomorrow.
The live chat told me there was no record of my ever having minutes etc. They questioned, quite rudely, how I ever got so many minutes and texts. I have no idea...they've accumulated for years but how could I possibly defraud Tracfone? So, according to them, they cannot give me my numbers back cause there's no record I ever had them.
Then, last night I see in my bank account that the money for the data I just purchased has been deducted from my account and yet, I have no data!
There's something seriously wrong here and I feel I am the one being defrauded. I have always sung the praises of Tracfone to people...now look at what happened to me.
They tell me to call again tonight but, I've called 2 nights already, been over 2 1/2 hours on the phone and gotten nowhere...just insulted.
The first agent, Phillipp, told me everything was fixed abd to call back in 24 hours. I gave him and tracfone an excellent review. Then, I call 24 hours later, talk to Jorje, and he had no idea whatvwas happening. Very, very frustrating. Then to give me numbers to call when I can't make any calls.
Can anybody here help me. I'm an 82 year old woman, house bound and depend on my phone for all access to the outside world. I am sick over this whole thing. To be called a liar by people who are supposedly there to help me is crushing. They never actually said I was a liar but their comments about my minutes etc. definitely said that.

TracFone Wireless not providing service paid for

Bought a new tracfone in Nov. 2017 to replace an older tracfone with a unreliable battery. Called to have new phone activated and my existing number and minutes transferred to the new phone. My new phone would not work properly in my residence and I was then directed to a higher level tech person (manager?). Meanwhile my account was inactivated and my existing number and minutes associated with my older tracfone were removed. I spoke to the higher level person at Tracfone and explained I had difficulty with reception on my new phone and the problem with the disappearing phone number and minutes. He explained that he would sent a different sim card and he indicated that I had one thousand twelve minutes associated with my inactivated account and that he would release 100 minutes of the total minutes to allow me to use the new phone while I waited for the sim card. The sim card arrived late yesterday 11/30/17 and I contacted tracphone today and they were again not resolving the issue. In total, I have spent the last two weeks or so, and countless hours on the phone attempting to resolve this issue to no avail. I now have a new phone that doesn't work (it was deactivated), I have no minutes showing in my inactivated account and I have no tracfone phone number to use.

yep the same here, I have been on the phone for almost 2 1/2 hours just this morning and the 2900 minutes I paid for will not be transferred. Customer service is the WORST. And you can NOT get to a higher up than a regular manager to plead your case. They get your money and say Sc@#w off. Whats sad is I have been with them for 5 years with no conflict. But guess I will just change to another BAD company (they all bite) right?

TracFone Wireless phone

I wanted my phone unlocked, I was told I had to wait till the 1st of nov. 2017 which was one month away. I called on the 3rd of nov. to get my phone unlocked so I could move to another provider. I was told they could not find my account and would have to put in some sort of request to another department but would speed it up but it would take 48 to 72 hrs. To complete it.
I called back after the 72 hrs. And was told they could not unlock the phone for the same reasons as before and that they would put in a request to another dept. To get it done, and again it would take another 48 to 72 hrs.
I'm sick and tired of this company and their customer service which is nothing but a [censor] joke starting with the recording that tells you to press 1 for english!...
These people make you want to scratch your own eyes out their're so inept.

TracFone Wireless complaining for a customer

Hi my name is georgina & i work with walmart i am actually makin the complaint for one of my customers(Senior).. he came in friday 11/3/17 to purchase a new phone because his battery was going out on his old 1..He Had 2332minutes n 29 days on his old phone n she kept claiming he only had 1160 so we didnt go on with the transfer becuas am customer was gonna lose out of half his min..the Rep Got Very Ugly With Us And She told Me..." well 1160 minutes is better than 0 min" & i told her really Mam You gonna have my customer lose out on about $100 ..well she was very ugly n hug up on us..so i did a return on the phone he had purchased n he went on to buying a new battery instead so he could enjoy his 2323 min he had..well today tuesday 11/7/17 he came bk in to tell me that his phone hasnt wked since that even of the 11/3 ...so i called customer service for him and comes out to be that That Very UGLY REP Went ahead n dis the phone swap after she was told not to..now this poor elderly man went all weekend w/o a phone and now has to wait for a new Sim To Come AND is gonna lose out in over $100 worth in minutes becuse the rep i spoke to today saod he only has 1160 minutes...this man Is a Elderly Man Who Doesnt Drive and Has to Find ride and now having to struggle with conflict is not very good foe a customer whos been with You Guya For Many Years If you can please get with me at [protected]@gmail.com or [protected] my phone or at my wk [protected]..Thank You Very Much & I Hope To Hear From Somebody About this Situation With Mr Howard..

TracFone Wireless transferring min and phone number

I bought my wife who is in a nursing home, A tracfone and 700 min She could not learn to use it correctly. so I got an older phone from another provider I tried to transfer the remaining 300 min to my tracfone And transfer her number to the new provided of my wife. first they said they could not do it with both phones being active but finally did . when I went to transfer the phone number they said they could not because the services was no longer active. they said I had to add min and that after the number was transfered I could then transfer the min to my tracfone. well we transfered thephone number but now they say I lost the min. TracFone Wireless safelink

My contact was cancel with safelink because they didn't get the TWO re certification I sent them. I was told I had to start from scratch and reapply for service. I did this on the 1 Oct and was told it would take 7-10 business days to get an application. I never received it. I contacted them on the 18th ... and was told I had to start from scratch again and was told to wait another 7-10 business days for another application ... 7-10 business days when by ... still no application.
This company is completely and totally incompetent. It's not fair that I have wait until 2018 to go with another provider.

TracFone Wireless minutes deducted when phone not used

Bought a phone from HSN with 1500 minutes included in phone.. over five weeks 1, 200 minutes were deducted from my account without phone usage.. called TracFone with no results of compensation.. what a bunch of thieves.. TracFone refused to look at my phone call records...I'm very sorry I bought a TracFone..now I have to buy minutes and hope they too don't disappear..his company is unfair and I've been reading that this is a common occurrence in Pennsylvania... buyer beware!

TracFone Wireless refund department

The US government shut down the use of the phone. Since I was on an auto payment plan, the company is refusing to authorize a refund, since there were no issues with the phone. I am not use to paying for services when work/services not done. This is the equivalent to highway robbery and should not be tolerated. I am very disappointed with the company and will be sharing this experience with my friends and family.

Hello, I have bought a ZTE cell phone.Number 107555 DDA POSPurchase Tracfone *AIR. Date:2/28/2020Debit is my plan.The bank charged me for two plans just alike.I will surely go to the bank on Mon. or Tues.But if it is a mistake on my part I will pay for it.Could you please help me or send an email with instructions on how to activate my phone

TracFone Wireless everything enrollment #[protected]

I called because my service was not working and i am actively looking for work. I called the 611 number and instead of telling
me that my service was out of minutes, although i had unlimited minutes. Customer service then put in a ticket to have my phone fixed, which i did not need.

Then customer service called me back and had the nerve to ask me how their customer service was. Then they told me that my contract was up.

Finally i got a wonderful woman who helped me, but i still have to wait 2-3 days until my telephone can be turned on.

TracFone Wireless tracfone service

Tried to save money and switched to tracfone, the very day I switched I could never send or receive text. Called tracfone more than once, they never could fix the problem. So they said it has to be my phone is bad. Even though I told them before switching I could text just fine. Any way they want me to send my phone in and they will send me another. That's crazy. Not only will I be without a phone i'll also be losing minutes. Today I tried my sons sim card in my phone and I can send text, so my phone is still good. Called tracfone n told them my phone works fine with a different sim, but they said they can't send me a sim and to send them the phone. [censor] won't even try to keep customers happy by doing the simplest thing. I told them i'm not sending my phone to them and i'll be switching to a different carrier. Oh and thanks tracfone for wasting my money on your crap service that won't work.

TracFone Wireless tracfone / net 10

Purchased a Tracfone phone for my elderly mother. When it came time to add minutes to her phone I subsequently purchased a Tracfone Airtime/Refill Card from Walmart.

When the PIN from the newly purchased Airtime/Refill Card was entered to activate it, it rejected the information with a message stating that her phone number was not in Tracfone's system.

Called Tracfone's 'customer service' number numerous times and was told my mother's phone was not a 'Tracfone' but a 'Net 10' phone. Wait. What? The box the new phone came in and all of the literature when it was purchased had TRACFONE clearly printed all over it.

This same phone was activated as a TRACFONE. Tracfone and Net 10 are products owned by the SAME company.

Now, this scam company is renaming my mother's phone a 'Net 10' phone and because of this they can't transfer the already purchased minutes over to her phone nor issue a refund. They also had the audacity to tell me I had to now purchase a 'Net 10' card to add minutes to the phone, otherwise nothing else could be done.

Walmart said they can't issue a refund because the card is non-refundable. Essentially, Tracfone got my money and I didn't receive the service I paid for.

I'm providing this information so that Tracfone/Net 10 is exposed for the fraud that it is.

If I could give Tracfone/Net 10 a ZERO or below rating I would.

TracFone Wireless phone will not work

had an old trac ph-when I renewed service it did not work
spent 3 hours on phone trying to correct problem-no luck
bought a new one pd 81.00 plus renew service at 107.00
new phone never worked-no signal-spent over one week 8 hours trying to get it to work
I gave up went to another carrier and am trying to get my money back
they keep charging my credit card
I will not call them again-

TracFone Wireless safelink service

I was denied the ability to make calls on my cellphone. So I counted the minutes used from the call details on the cellphone and called customer service. The customer service lady boldly stated I had used all of my minutes and that it was my fault that I couldn't make calls. At first I laughed and thought, the facts on my phone were undeniable. But, the rep continued. I called back and was reissued a few minutes, but not all of the minutes they should have reissued. This company sucks. It's representatives have the customer service skills of a gnat and all in all, the whole ordeal was pathetic and filled with untruths on the company's behalf.

TracFone Wireless cancelled and then changed my phone number after it was paid for one year ahead.

I have had a tracfone for over 15 years with the same phone number that I use for a US Government Volunteer Organization that I belong to. The phone service was paid for in August for another year as we have done every Summer so it is paid up to August 13, 2018. On Sunday October 8, 2017 I decided to call my cell phone number from my home phone like I do often and I was left with a message that stated "At the subscriber request this phone will not accept any incoming calls" and then there was a bunch of letters and numbers that followed. I called tracfone on Sunday October 8th and spent over four hours on the phone getting this situation resolved and talking to 8 customer service reps. They told me that the service was not paid to them even though it was listed as being so on my phone. They told me that it went through Safelink (which I have never dealt with). Then they cancelled my original phone number with a new one without my permission. [protected]) was the original number and now it is [protected]). I have now spent almost four hours today trying to get this situated and so far I have spoken to another 5 customer service reps and I am now waiting for them to return my phone call. They told me that they so far are unable to retrieve my old phone number (which by the way is used by people from all 50 of the United States and even a few foreign Countries). I told them that I need to have the original number restored as this was done without my permission (we also have pens and pencils printed with the original phone number on it). I have been placed on long delays, switched from one person to another, and today they placed me to the group that could change the phone number and I was placed on hold for over 20 minutes and then the phone went dead. Please help as I need the original [protected] number restored to our Organization. Thanks.

TracFone Wireless unauthorized credit card charges

I have had my phone for 4-5 years with 39.88 plan +taxes. It was an automatic payment withdrawal from my bank account. Everything went fine until I got the second phone for my daughter in the last days of August of 2017.
I purchase activation kit at the Walmart for $50 which included sim card and 1-month plan for $39.88. I followed all three steps on the kit then I went on my account and added the second phone.

Later, I found out that on September, 3 of 2017 the day I added the second phone, my bank account was charged for two phones on the amount of $97, but should be charged only for one phone $43 because the second phone was paid through the activation kit for the month of September.
I have called several times to customer service, have spoken to several representatives including managers and finance department without a positive result as everyone has his/her explanation.
The summary- I paid:
September 2017 (the month I added the second phone):
$97 (taken from bank account) + $50 (activation kit I purchased) = $147 for both phones
October 2017:
$43 for the 1st phone and $43 for the 2nd phone
I still have the same plans, no minutes or GB were added, no discount or reimbursement for overpayment.

TracFone Wireless airtime problems

Okay I bought my husband a new card (data only) and when I tried to put the pin in it wouldn't work, so I called Customer Service and the woman told me it was because I had to buy minutes first because data only won't activate the phone. Very upset because I have seen nothing stating you have to buy minutes first, why sell the data cards alone if they won't work.! if I wanted to waste money on minutes I would have boughten the data, text, and call card. It should stare on the card will not work unless you use minutes too. I think I'm just going to throw his phone away and get him an at&t go phone like mine.
