Subway owners and district managers

Wrote up my step son for what they said he wasnt doing but yet when it was his call in shift he would call and manager would say dont need you remind you the management that wrote him up her soon to be mother in law is her boss but when proof was shown that he called in when he was to they said he didnt call in so I as him step mom asked how they could do that she then called her soon to be mother in law and had her come to the subway in boone on south story street which then they called district manager who came to my car screaming in the parking lot i called the owner to complain about his employees and in return he banned me from his stores in boone iowa and ames iowa. The owner is ok with what his district manager to now a non customer

ruth and kevin unless you know the facts and you were physically standing in the boone subway and saw it all first hand then you have no right to name call and be negative and iowa labor laws protect me and legally i had the right to stand up for my 18 yr old non big baby son. So keep your negative comments to yourself

Subway Staff

I visited subway today in the chelmsley wood branch the three members of staff were very rude saying comments under the breath and also one member of staff was prodding the food while it was being prepared by one of the staff they were all unhelpful I thought I would treat my niece to lunch in there even after paying and sitting down the staff were staring at us I was never once rude to any of them and it wasa horrible experience I will never set foot in there again and from what I saw they are.like it withall custumers who came in I considered saying.forget the order because of the rudeness and also hygeine was a disgrace I have never witnessed anything as bad as this in my whole.life I work in retail and ifi had treated ppl like that I wouldnt have a job.

The customer service is horrible, the workers need to go back to training and learn how to listen to customers. The manager on staff do not care about the customers and refused to handle issues with the employees. I will never go to this store again, EVER!

Why is it that subways sandwiches do not match their advertisments. It is very disappointing to go to a subway and receive a sandwich that has only about a third of the toppings as soon on their ads.

Bad customer service with the employee and spoke to a person who says he the manager and ask the employees the manager they wouldnt let me know and the service was i yelled by the employee and the employee should be wrote up for bad customer service! And the owner should well trained again on how to speak to the customer when taking a call!

got the coupone by the mail with my name on it for free 6 inch sub with no additional purchase nenecessary. got to the store, and they told my they won't take it ! expiretion date is 06/09/2011 ! it is a scam ! i have coupone on my hands and willing to make scan of it and send to subway as well !

i live a block away from the store and would like to go for lunch quite often, but being in a wheelchair i am unable to enter the building because there is a step instead of a wheelchair accessable entrance. there i am unable to use your business at this location. i really enjoy your food but unless there is someone at home to go and purchase a sandwich for me i can't enjoy one. i appreciate your listening to me. thank you. patricia hymans

in less than 2 months this store was out of italian rolls 3 times and out of onions and black olives twice. this was only when I went. who knows how many other times this happened to other people who went to this location.i mean, this is a sandwich shop, right?

No one talks in english. Workers will talk in punjabi. Make fun of you n laugh at u while making your sandwich. I felt so stupid cuz i knew i they were laughing at me. Subway you are spoiling your name by hiring non english speaking people. I mean i love subway but dont wana repeat my order 4 times just cuz the girls are busy gossiping.

When a person asks for a $3.99 fresh value meal combo, one needs to know that he should get a 32 oz drink and a bag of chips or 2 cookies with the sandwich. One has to keep in mind that it is a 32 oz drink which he gets and not any less than that. THIS IS IMPORTANT CUSTOMERS!

I have been playing subway surfer for a while and money is constantly being taking out of my bank account. I already had damn near $50.00 taken out out my account.

I have been charged from my credit card Visa Dankort the amount of 400 danish kr. Whitout my ortorization, Form the game subway surfers on my tablet, I would like those monye back on my bank account, as soon as posible.

Subway wrongful termination

I use to work at Subway in Russell Springs and in Columbia inside of Walmart. I had to go on medical leave which the owner and store manager knew ahead of time and that I didn't know how long I would be off work. They was alright with it and said I would still have my job. I kept them updated and turned in everyone of my doctor excuses. When the doctor released me to go back to work I attempted to contact the store manager which is Brandi to ask about my job and when I could start back but she never answered. So I contacted the owner which is Jinal Patel and ask him about my job and when I could start back and he told me to talk to Brandi. I told him I attempted to but she never answered and he said he would talk to her and let me know something but I never heard back from him either. So I contacted him again and he never answered me. So I got terminated while on medical leave which is a wrongfully termination. I feel like something should be done about it and that I should get paid for lose wages and emotional stress that I had to go through worrying about how my bills where going to get paid and about finding another job. All this was in December of 2014. I have been trying to get ahold of someone that will help with these issues but have been trouble getting any help. And on top of all this back in February of 2014 I worked 6 hours over time and my check was short the 6 hours. So I ask the Jinal why my check was short 6 hours and he told me that he couldn't pay me over time that he took them 6 hours and added them to my next check. The students that worked there when I did they would work long hours and wouldn't get a break. If it showed that they got a break it is because they went in the computer and put it in there so that it would look like they got a break so they couldn't get in trouble over it. They treat their employees really bad. They will say mean and hateful things to the employees in front of other employees and customers. And when they change the food out of the cambreos they put the old food into a new one and put a different date on it. And sometimes they would just leave the food in the cambreos and just change the dates on them. Another thing is there should be unexpected drug test done in both stores to starting with the store manager. In my opinion I don't think Subway in Russell Springs and in Columbia inside Walmart should stay open. The owner don't care about the stores or his employees. If ur a female and u want a job there all you have to do is sleep with the owner and you will get a job. The owner told one employee after he done me wrong that he didn't have any hours for her when she wanting to come back to work after being off on medical leave. She was in a bad car accident and refused for her to draw employment but she finally got her employment but he can hire new people. How can he hire new people when he can't let the employees come back from medical leaves and saying he doesn't have any hours. They run out of food a lot of the times and a lot of people are complaining about the Subways. Please take this serious and do something about it. They have been doing people like this for a long time and keep getting by with it and it is unfair to all of us. I hope you will take these matters seriously and do the right thing that needs to be done and honestly do something about it. If you don't then they will continue doing people like this and then it will end up with a law suit. She was totally wronged by that Subway. She wS using words you use when texting which is not harming anyone. There is a Subway at the Mall on Skibo road in Fayetteville, NC with a broken freezer for months. Owners take food home and keep frozen and food out of date. Had sign up for long time that items not available due to equipment failure. How do they get by with this? Got sick off sub. Subway downhill all the way and probably owner comments bashing the worker and they do that.

this is wrongful termination, and you should contact the labor board in your state. I know, as I am going through a similar situation. Also, they must pay overtime, they may not put to on another week. The labor board will review the past 3 years records and pay any money owed for the past two years. feel free to contact me cnibor111@erizon.net

It's kind of sad that all of the commenters are inclined not to believe this employee. Not compensating her for all the hours she worked, serving expired food, and terminating her employment while on medical leave with NO NOTICE, not even the decency to return her phone calls, is okay? She has no right to complain? Lol that's effed up, you guys are a-holes. And obviously don't know that libel is (FALSE claims). Plus, if serving expired food isn't grounds for a lawsuit, neither is a comment on complaintsboard lol.

@Ruth and Kevin there is actually zero indication that she is a "troublemaker." What the hell, you don't even know this person xD

@redhatterb71 her grammar is completely irrelevant and not grounds to dismiss her claims. You sound like a total [censored]. I'm sure Brandi and Jinal Patel's grammar isn't up to snuff either, but who cares, it's a Subway.

You're all disillusioned if you think this stuff doesn't actually happen. It does. Eat there and get some great foodborne illnesses and see if OP cares :3

Actually I think the reason she did not get her job back was because of her attitude. She is not a team player and I am sure the other employees were relieved when she was fired.

Boo hoo, tell us the real reason you were fired. Seemed like you were a trouble maker and that is why you were fired. Grow up and stop spreading lies about them just because you were fired for something else. Otherwise you will find yourself sued. They owe you nothing. Subway teaching out of fear

I have worked in many companies with many high profile individuals and i have never before been treated so badly. Arminia, the manager is probably one of the worst managers i have ever worked with. Shes rude, disrespectful, doesn't know how to properly do her job and teaches out of belittlement and insults and fear. Ive worked in the entertainment business successfully my entire life and that can get pretty nasty, however i have never been more infuriated that how i was while working there. I have never seen such a simple job be made in to a minefield. i highly suggest no one to work there while she is an employee.

Subway unsafe not good

do not goto this sub way they have unprofessional staff they r not wearing uniforms dont have gloves on which is illegal the store is not clean at all the staff is all one race which seems very odd to me there stuff and clothing was on the tables were people eat they also told me I could pay later what is funny my card works other places but not there which tell ms they r scamming people and profiling people they basicly said its made take it I never said I was coming back to pay them and now i am not going to after looking at the store it was not clean a mess and they dont wash there hands

Subway new pricing structure

How the heck does a company go from a five dollar foot long sub, to $6 for a six inch sub, a bag of chips and a 21 oz soft drink? Is America that crazy? Do the math America! Subway is not cheap fast food any more! I'm done with that!

I used my subway card at manager ashley location. She allowed to bring up my account balance on my receipt and decided to. I called the store to find out why and the employee said they all trained to give out the account balances. Then it was explained because of people asking ashley the manager for balance information on their receipt already showing so...

Subway Worst food rip off ever.

I spent $9.30 on a sandwich alone today. The pastrami sandwich. It was not pastrami. It was apparently flank steak. Undercooked, not peppered, not cured, and full of string, days impossible to eat meat like product. I cooked and cheffed kitchens all over the usa for over 25 years. I know meats. This was with at best 3 bucks. I could not finish it.
Do not buy the pastrami at subway. It is advertised intentionally wrong. It is not pastrami.

We went to the Subway on 105 - Could only get 1/half meatball they were out got the half and then full sandwich turkey and cheese there was no cheese and one thin slice turkey - bread was old dry and hard tomato's old. Rates less than a vending machine sandwich. Just to be clear this Subway is 105 and Crockett Martin. The Subway next to Jack-in-the Box also 105 has great sandwiches. this was about 5 pm so you would think they would have to be ready for dinner orders. Cookies were good.

Subway rudeness of employee

I come into this particular store a couple times a week because it is located near my work. The first couple times after this new employee started she was very rude. So i proceeded to be friendly and got that her name was Charlotte. I am always very polite, but everyday its almost the same thing, its as if im bothering her by coming into the store. I have tried to not pay her rudeness attention but can no longer stand it. I will not come back to this location, and will pass this info to my friends and coworkers.

Same way at Subway in Morris, Illinois. The two guys working there are very unfriendly. Won't even respond when you say hi. There is one woman there that is friendly. You shouldn't take a job dealing with the public if you don't enjoy it. There are other jobs.

Subway franchise arbitration

Chicago DA Mesi and subway HQ are forcing me to go in arbitration for the most stupid reasons just because my store is doing above average and they want to take it away from me so that they can sell it back for profit. There are many franchisees that are in similar situation and feel trapped. We need a good lawyer to help us.

Subway unfair treatment

I am a franchisee and feel I am being treated unfairly by my development agents, I have been mis advised, lied to, put through arbitration due to lack of communication, I am now trying to sell my store and they are making it very difficult and are sending me downright rude emails and questioning me personally asking if I am paying things that are nothing to do with them. They have held up my transfer at every point and this has been going on for 8 months and is making me physically ill and affecting my own job. There is no where to complain and no one to get advice from I am at a loss as to where to go or what to do

Subway bad staff that failed to honour a fair clearly valid stated voucher

I have always been a happy and big fan of subway i love the food it offers but today during my experience at the burnie sub way i had a clearly valid and clear stated voucher for subway that the workers at the burnie stor refused to righfully honour it and not only did they choose not to honour the voucher but when i was trying to talk to them and ask why they wouldnt honour the clear stated voucher but they were rude and unhelpful and made me feel like as if i was a special needs person and made me feel like an idiot and when i go into a resturant i do not expect to be treated in such a rude and unfair way as a result it has left me very upset and offended and i will not be going to subway anymore as a result and i recommend that other people do not go to this subway anymore until the owner teaches the manager and staff how to talk to customers properly and lets them know that when a clearly valid voucher is presented it should be honoured and they should not call the customer a liar and talk to them like as if they are a liar and idiot i have never been so rudely and badly spoken to i am very disheartened and feel heavily abused and hope no one has to go through the ordeal that i had to go through at burnie subway today thankyou

Subway absolutely filthy

I walked in and many of the tables were not clean there were still empty trays and garbage. The young women behind the counter was on her cellphone and made me wait to order for at least 2mins. The knife they used to cut my sub had only been wiped on a towel after touching other meats. what if someone wanted a vegatarian sandwich? i also used the bathroom my meal and it was a complete mess. the air dryer button was rusty, and there were no paper towls.

Subway using f — k word behind counter

I was in a subway resturant in vaccouver washington with my grandchildren when I heard a employee using the f**k word to another employee. I contacted the store owner (mike) and didnt get any results. I am done with subway resturants. My grandchildren ask me why the guy behind the counter was so mad and what the word f**k meant. I am so upset Im done. Store is located on main street in Vancouver Washington on main street. the kids name is Braiden. I went in and saw him and now he is a asistant manager acoording to his name tag. This upsetting to me. Subway lost a customer that went aleast once a week. My family and friends wii hear about this.

After waiting 30 mins in line I finally get to the register and what happens? They gave my sandwich to the guy in front of me He was far gone and my lunch break was over. They told me they were going to make me a new one in a minute after 3 mins standing nothing . I left pissed and hungry . Will never go back ever again. And I will tell anyone I know not to go there.
