This agent needs to be removed. She allowed a non licensed employee sell me life insurance and told me to cancel my current policy. My policy with State Farm was denied. Now I have nothing. No one should be able to sell life insurance without a license. Once I realized my policy was being denied, I started looking into the employees, no one in her office i...

State Farm Car insurance company

I was involved in a car accident with a driver who had Geico insurance. The state trooper and sheriff took statements from witnesses and determined that the Geico driver was at fault. The state trooper even marked that the other driver was at fault. Why would State Farm want me to take on some of the responsibility for the accident. I was so disappointed that State Farm would not support me in fighting Geico to pay for my damages and wanted me to take on some of the blame of the accident. The witnesses of the accident and the GA state trooper all stated and agreed that the other driver was at fault. State Farm is wrong for even wanting me to take on some of the burden. I'm filing a complaint with the Georgia Department of Insurance and Attorney General's Office against Geico.

We had one hail storm 8/31/2018 that damaged the roof. We had another storm come through 4/3/2019 that caused even more damage. State farm sent out one claims adjuster who tells me there is no hail damage. He looked at the shed that wasn't even important and they sent me $3, 018.10 to cover that. They deducted $2, 188.00 plus another $1, 820.75 that for the...

State Farm Payment

Was told on June 17th a check would be sent to my Insurance agent, via next day. A letter (dated June 18th) and no check was sent that arrived on June 21st. I went to pick up the check on the 24th and was told someone authorized a direct deposit (I never did). My agent called Total Loss and was told I wanted direct deposit. I never did AND they had the account number for my husband's account, not mine. But, why did their letter say a check was enclosed? Well On the 24th my agent was told a check would be sent overnight mail. Guess what, it wasn't. The check was issued AFTER mail pick up on the 25th so it will be picked up on the 26th and I won't get it until Monday July 1st. My agent's office closes early Friday. Why so many lies? Now I'm being told that in order to send the check by another means (post office guaranteed next day, FedEx guaranteed next day) the check will need to be cancelled (it hasn't been picked up yet) and a new one issued and that takes 2 days? Really. Seems no one at State Farm knows how to correct their mistakes and no one knows how to open the envelope, remove the check, go to the Post Office and mail it from there guaranteed next day. I really wonder at the competence of this company. My Agent is wonderful it's just these people that need to learn how to deal with people and blame themselves for their mistakes and jump through hoops to correct their mistakes not blame the customer.

State Farm Insurance

The State Farm commercial containing "Don't mess with my discount" is the most annoying commercial I'v ever seen! Totally stupid! No one wants to hear her loud screeching voice on the way to have a baby or her smug picture afterwards. Surely State Farm employs enough talented marketing specialists that can do a much better job promoting discounts than this.

State Farm Agent representative behavior

I have been a policy holder at state farm since I started driving at 16. I am now 25 years old and have had policy with state farm the whole time. At no point in my whole time doing business with state farm was I ever handled in the manner I was today. I am writing this in regards to a phone conversation with an agent I had a policy under in Colorado. Her name Kendra G phone number 719-488-4224. After starting our conversation and getting hellos out of the way, i began to explain my situation. My situation being that i had totaled my car back in march and had canceled the policy at that time seeing as i couldnt possibly use the car anymore after selling to a junk yard. I thought I had received a cancellation of policy in the mail for that but Kendra informed me that it was for home owners insurance cancellation. I just saw the cancellation in my mail and assumed it was the car after briefly looking at it. During our conversation I tried to explain how I spoke with someone before about cancelling the policy and I'm not sure why It wasn't cancelled at this time, seeing as i havent been in possession of the car for over a month and a half. For some reason she gets offended that I'm a little confused as to why I am being charged for a car that I haven't been in possession of for over a month, starts getting sarcastic, says "oh Please finish what you're saying, please" in the most sarcastic tone I've ever heard. I was on the phone with state farm customer service for roughly 20 minutes initially, got hung up on or "Disconnected" then Dan on the phones was a gentleman and a scholar and helped me out and got me the number to Kendras office after the first person completely wasted my time and "disconnected" me. This is on my day off, just saying, its beautiful and sunny out and i am dealing with this. Total time spent before reaching Kendra's office ~30 to 45 minutes. I did not wait on the phone and try calling kendras office multiple times for roughly an hour to be talked to In such a manner. The old me would have shrugged this off but frankly I'm sick of people being in a position where they should be helping people and instead get irritated when someone just needs clarification or help. I'm the one who totaled my car and lost a lot of money and am now waiting on the phone with my insurance for an hour only to be talked down to and spoken at like I'm a lunatic when all I was trying to do was make sure I wasn't paying for a policy for a car I don't even have. It was just very frustrating to have someone talk at me telling me they will take care of it then say they are done with this conversation and hang up with you. At no point did I think I was being irrational, just had to ask if I was being charged for the month and a half I didn't have the car and I got sarcastic remarks, demeaning language and hung up on by a "professional" agent. I just had to share my experience with this place and will not be doing business here again due to the fact that there are people who would rather make you feel small than make you feel helped by people you are paying a lot of money to EVERY MONTH to help you in the first place.

State Farm Non-payment of claim

On August 14th of 2017 my ex-husband passed away. He had added me to his insurance policy less than 2 weeks prior to this. We lived together for close to 16 years.
A week later our home burned down. I had been illegally kicked out by his long lost nieces on the day of his death. One had told me if I wanted any of the things in my home that I should remove them prior to his death because the door would be locked to me. I carried our belongings all through the night over to the neighbors who only visit in the summer. A lot was left in the house.
His death devastated me.
I have never really moved out of our home, it was my legal residence.
Since Arson was suspected I was a suspect so nothing could be done until the case was closed.
I filed a claim with State Farm. The man named Charlie who was handling my case basically told me that they thought that I was lying about some of the items on my claim and they would not pay me for any of my things.
Since Dave was 82 and I was 52 of course they would tend to think that I was a golddigger. I loved Dave very much. He was my rock and my guidance.
I went into depression, I went back to drinking, I went back to drugs. Anything to escape the reality.
State Farm has not contacted me since I spoke with Charlie in May, I believe.
Is my name on the policy invisible?
This is the worst insurance company I've dealt with ... ever.
I was informed by Charlie that I could file an appeal but it probably would be a waste of my time. I believed him.
Due to being left homeless all of my things are scattered. I had a companion who would hide my computer, take my insurance information which allowed more time to pass. I changed my password on my main computer. He found out that I did and went and changed it to something (zero plus one is the hint). He had taken my keys, my phones, my personal things, and any information he could. I have since broken up with him and he has refused to return my belongings.

Dave Strope and Denise Strope are the insured names on the policy.
4450 Pelican Lake Road
Orr, Mn. 55771
My phone number is [protected]

I now reside at 601 Hayes St. located in Eveleth, Mn. 55732

State Farm refuses to transfer my policies to me

Hi! I moved out of texas 4 years ago and now I work for a statefarm office in oklahoma and I want my life policy transferred to me so I can update my beneficiaries etc. I have called brian burklow multiple times and he refuses to send me my policy. I have tried everything and have tried to call multiple people and all he has to do is click accept to send it. A lady named destiny answered the phone the last time and yelled at me and said "I will handle it when I want to handle it" and then proceeded to hang up on me. This is the worst experience and brian should not be allowed to have his title

State Farm Claims department

The State Farm claims adjuster told me that my BMW was considered a total loss. We went through the features of the car and what their source valued it at. She said that they said it was "good" across the board. Further, she said that the value of the car, when taxes are included, came to a certain amount. I was stunned. I disputed this, claiming that the car was worth AT LEAST $3000 more. She said that I would need to show this from comparables in my area, without specifying what my area encompassed.

I mentioned to her that when I spoke to a State Farm claims agent previously, I was told that the value of the car if totaled would be negotiable. She said there was no negotiation unless I had comparables. I disputed that with the following points.

First, I mentioned that a three-level comparison hardly takes into account a car that is in superb condition. If my car was on the upper end of above average or good, then it deserves to be valued higher. She said no. (I found out later that State Farm uses a four-level comparison, but that would only put my car in the top 25%. I mentioned that I was a professor and that there is a huge difference between a student who earns a 96 [an A] and one who earns a 76 [a D+]!)

Second, I noted that since only four other cars were included in the comparison, this would hardly take into account a car such as mine. On a bell curve, the top 1% gets thrown in with the top 25%. That is not a fair comparison. Those who take immense pride in car ownership are penalized severely.

Third, she specifically said that a car with paint chips no larger than a credit card would be considered in good condition. I was astonished. This underscores how broad a range "good" really is!

Fourth, I mentioned that there are things that are unseen in a car that can enhance its value. I specifically mentioned that I get it detailed every year or every other year, that I change the oil every 5000 miles even though the owner's manual says to change it every 15, 000 miles, and that about 90% of the miles are highway miles. I keep it in essentially mint condition, with a few minor issues from time to time, but I don't leave such things unfixed. She said that such things cannot be calculated into the value of a car. I mentioned that in that case I could have changed the oil every 30, 000 miles, and she said that that WOULD be taken into consideration in terms of the wear and tear on the engine. This means that an irresponsible owner is penalized (and rightfully so), but a responsible owner is not rewarded. It's obviously not a just comparison to only consider such negatives on a car and not positives. The fact that such a range in the personal care of a car is not considered in its value tells me that a truly outstanding car will be seriously undervalued.

Fifth, I mentioned that only the BMW dealership has maintained the car. This, too, is not taken into consideration.

Sixth, I mentioned that I was the sole owner, that the car was made to order, and that I had planned on keeping it the rest of my life. Obviously, with such a history I would be taking special care of the vehicle. Nope, doesn't count, she said.

I have been a member of the BMW Car Club since 1988. The surest way to find the best comparables to my car would be in the Roundel, the club's magazine. Yet even here it's rare to find a car in the same condition as mine. I highlighted some cars for comparison, noting that although they were two years newer, they had far more miles or unfixed problems, were second- or third-owner vehicles, and STILL were selling for quite a bit more than mine. None of this mattered.

Later I spoke with another agent. She told me that the state of Texas fixed how much the insurance company could pay. I asked, "So, when I mention this on social media I should say that you said it was state law?" She paused, then replied, "Well, um, no, not exactly." "So, there is some flexibility in how much I can get for my car, right—because, after all, the state has not dictated what the value should be?" She answered, "No, there is no flexibility."

Folks, if you take excellent care of your car, don't insure it with State Farm. You'll never get what it's worth if it gets totaled. On the other hand, if you don't give a rip what condition your car is in, you're in luck! State Farm will probably give you top dollar.

10/25/18
My name is Adrian Sims and I'm the owner of a State Farm Agency. My main line is [protected]. I have 5 lines and would like or all the lines to register as [protected] when calling out. Each line has a different phone number. I have spent of over an hour this morning trying to get this issue resolved. I have never seen a company that is so disorganized with customer service reps who are CLUELESS AND DON'T CARE. I'm switching to another company because this is just ridiculous. I can be reached at [protected].

State Farm Homeowners

We are 2 disabled seniors who rented a house from one of their insureds. The house had a defective roof, mold & overrun with rodents. The landlord did not maintain his pool or yard(yard flooded several times). We were left homeless and paid for temporary housing out of pocket through our retirement account. We paid for mold reports, stored mold & rodent stain furniture and waited over 3 years for them to examine it. My husband was rushed to the ER on 10/25/2014 because the landlord had a handyman take the moldy cabinet and part of the room through the house.we were in a modest hotel on a special rate and cooperated with their adjuster(waited almost 2 months) and still no remediation. We paid for the utilities on the house. We asked for reimbursement for temporary housing, but they could not do that. We lost our income for our living expenses due to all these expenses we incurred. We hired an attorney and then State Farm got the case transferred to another county(2 hours away). Our attorney could not accommodate this, so we were pro sevand contacted State Farm to settle. They said there was limited ins and I said the house would have to have more ins because it was financed. And then we got a call back from Jim Finnegan and they found another million dollars of coverage.he suggests a mediation to settle and after 5 months we do not hear from them or their attorneys. We are forced to hire a new attorney and after he takes more $ and did not represent us in our best interests, we call them again. We tell them we have spent over $400, 000 in our of pocket expenses and are paying for medications needed due to the mold. Finnegan tells us we did not pay rent, so forget that expense. My husband should be fine now that he is out of the environment, get your rat stained furniture out of storage and clean it. These are just a few of his comments. I filed a complaint with the Dept of Insurance and Steve Davis calls us([protected]).
We were to wait for Jim Finnegan to call us back. We tell him our bottom line. Of course they backed us down. The amount did not cover our damaged property and we said we would walk away, BUT now we have a lien against us with the attorney.
State Farm writes us a letter dated 9/24/2018 and states: they have explained to the Dept of Ins that despite the significant differences we have concerning the value of your claim...some of the claims we have are not covered under the insured's policy...
Well, we cut back and got rid of our second car and were forced to sell our only car with no means of transportation. We sold everything to buy medications. We have now been forced to go to our children for support. I lost $3, 000 in income per month because they would not reimburse us for anything! They hire attorneys who travel in packs/posses(atleast 5 at a time), but will not cover my out of pocket expenses. They promise you, but do not follow through. The house was unsafe and uninhabitable. We can send the photos. The moths, beetles & crickets ate up our clothes and furnishings. We lost everything. I have now gone to the Justice Department and Tigta this week to report your cruel and outrageous business practices

We spent our retirement account to pay for mold reports & attorneys after they promised a mediation and of course lied to us about the amount of coverage. We finally started making complaints to the Dept of Ins to get their attention.we sold everything to take them to court, as they are cavalier about our damages: you are out of the environment so you are ok, you did not pay rent so you are not entitled to temporary housing, get your furniture out of storage with rodent stains. It can be fixed! Yes, this is their attitude. They do not care. I guess they can sleep at night with this attitude. I am now reporting this to the Veterans Association since my husband served his country.

State Farm Auto insurance and they are disregarding police report

their client hit me, police cam to the scene and their client admitted hitting my car and was given a verbal warning for driving improperly. State farm says they wont accept liability because their client says they didnt hit me and that the police officers report is a fabrication as well as myself and m y spouse are lying. Although I have photos of him fleeing the scene, as i was the passenger so i was able to photo him doing so. Its not a major accident but state farm has stressed my out being belief with their policy of not regarding the police officers site investigation and police report. If we cant regard an officers professional report, then we all need to drive around with dash cams. Which due to state farms outrageous policy, I am choosing to do for my own protection.

State Farm Non-payment of two separate claims

7/31/18: While my Toyota Prius was parked at Kaiser Medical Center garage in Daly City, a cream colored Mercedes scraped my car while backing out. A witness left a note on my windshield with the license plate of the car. My insurance co. contacted State Farm but they didn't pay the claim because they said there was no damage to the Mercedes.

2/20/18: While my previous car, a Honda Accord, was parked on the street in San Francisco, I saw a driver back into my car. He gave me his driver's license and insurance card. State Farm agent left me a message saying they wouldn't pay for it. I didn't understand their reason.

State Farm claim processing

I am a long-term customer of State Farm. I have numerous policies including homeowners, 4 autos, business rental property, personal liability umbrella and many jewelry and art items under a personal articles policy.

Unfortunately life happens and my ex-wife and I separated in June of 2016. During the separation, 2 pieces of jewelry were lost. I don't have them and my ex-wife claimed not to have them either. When the divorce was finalized in July of 2017, it was apparent that the watch and bracelet had mysteriously disappeared. I contacted State Farm and filed a claim in July.

Things started off well and an adjusted contacted me, asked for the details and agreed that a police report was not needed and that my policy did indeed include mysterious disappearance and that I would hear back shortly about the claim. The next day I was given a list of jewelers to chose from to get an estimated replacement cost. I did this and things were moving along smoothly.

Then I received a call from Ms King from the Special Investigative Unit. She left me a voicemail to call her. I did and was told that she was so busy that I needed to book an appointment to have a detailed interview about the loss, but that she couldn't accommodate me for a couple of weeks. I booked the appointment. I was also told that a claim form and affidavit of loss were being dropped in the mail to me that day and that both would be needed to move forward on my claim.

Over the next two weeks, I did not receive either form in the mail. Ms King did contact me at our scheduled time and did conduct her interview. The questions were redundant, but I understand there is a process to follow.

At the end of the interview, I informed Ms King that I had still not received any of the forms that were apparently mailed out two weeks prior. Ms King assured me she would ensure they were sent.

About two weeks later, after several unreturned calls, I was able to reach Ms King so I could tell her that I had still not received the forms. She told me she was surprised and that she would email them to me right away. Why she couldn't have emailed them to me earlier, I don't know. I completed the forms and returned them the next day.

Then I heard nothing. Over the next several months, I received no communication at all. I left numerous voicemails and never were they returned. Ironically, the jeweler that State Farm had recommended, kept in touch with me. Every couple of weeks she would touch base with me. It was through her that I learned that State Farm was actually waiting for me to provide a copy of my divorce settlement. Once I sent that in to the generic claims email, I was hoping to hear something back. About a month later, the jeweler called and said she had learned that they were waiting now for proof of ownership. I asked why they didn't call me to tell me what they needed and she had no idea. I also asked why they needed proof of ownership when they had a receipt for the watch and a jewelers appraisal already on file? The jeweler didn't know either. So I left numerous additional calls for Ms King as well as making about 20 other calls where I didn't receive a call back. To be fair, Ms King did call once and left me a voicemail (this is now Feb timeframe - about 6 months into the claim). I then received to letters on the same day, dated the same day that said different things. One of the letters said I needed to provide a copy of the original receipt in order for the claim to move forward. The jeweler helped me track down the jewelry store in Hawaii and I was able to get a copy.

I submitted this receipt even though I couldn't understand why they needed it. Can they really right a policy based on an appraisal (which is what they asked for) and collect premiums but not acknowledge the appraisal as proof of ownership to pay a claim?

I expected to hear something back from Ms King. I did not. I called at least twice and sometime four times a day. No response. I couldn't find where to complain to. I called my agent and was told they would inquire on my behalf and that I should here something back shortly. I did not.

Finally my agent provided me with a name that was reported to be Ms King's supervisor. I called Dan Dellert several times and left a message explaining 5e situation and that I wanted to file a complain and that I would appreciate a call back. I never received one.

I was finally able to reach Ms King and she told me that I needed to have one final call to have an exit interview. Several weeks later, Ms King and I had our exit call which last 3 minutes where she told me that she was going to make a recommendation to management and that she would get back to me with their decision. I informed her that I wanted a call back within a week and that I had tried to file a complain about all the delays. She was unimpressed.

A week and a day later she called and said 5e claim was approved. Only then did she tell me that the reason for the investigation was that my ex-wife had filed a previous claim (even though it was a very small one).

When it was all said and done, over 8 months elapsed for the claim. During the process no one from State Farm was responsive or helpful. We paid a lot of money in premiums each year and expected good service. Instead, it was one of the worst customer service experiences of my life.

Because of the poor service, lack of responsiveness from Ms King and Dan Dellert, because of the lack of communication and policy that required proof of ownership over what was provided when the policy was written. Because I could not find anyone to complain to I became frustrated and disgruntled with State Farm. I have now moved all my insurance to another company.

State Farm claim number: [protected] claim date: 3.2.2018

State Farm
To whom it concerned
Claim Number: [protected]
Claim Date: 3.2.2018

My car had crashed on 3.2.2018, due to English is my second language, I didn't understand what the dispatcher meant " property" at that time, and told the 911 that no property damage at the scene
Since then, I had not just experience physically suffering and especially mentally depress, stress. Loss of short term memories and fearfulness and etc,

Furthermore, most difficulty, is to contact State Farm. as you can review my records phone calls, and emails, almost every little things. It's hard to get it down with state farm.
I am really depressed now more than even

The back quarter panel was so hard to get paid by my adjuster Bonnie, finally approved by the photos that I lucky to have after long battles

Now the Blue Star body shop found right hand passenger door with tint, but my adjuster simply denied it again even without review the photos at the scene and arrived at Blue star body shop. This is very unprofessional and presumption. It just happened like the left quarter panel claim

I believe your inspector must have taken pictures of the entire right side and left side of the car as a professional inspector. The presumption has to be that the car on the right side was undamaged. Because if it were damage present they would have photographed it for sure. If they do not photographed the right side that means it was clean was normal without damage.
So for you to deny the damaged on the right side was pre-existing and that you have deny it, it's nonsense. Because they took custody of that car and was out of my hands they would have photographed damage on the right side if there was damage there.
The reason you did not take photographs of the right side because there was nothing wrong with it. you cannot tell me now that the damage was pre-existing and not related to this collision to deny the claim.

The reason we know this is if there was damage present on the right side they would have photographed it and said this is unrelated to the accident and State Farm not paying for it. It' not relevant.
It's it's another possibility, your inspect must have photographs and showing that there's no damage to that car on the right side, otherwise, your inspect certainly didn't do a through inspection
Looking forward to hearing from you
Flora

State Farm not being paid, getting run around

Case #133181R83. That I've not gotten paid and keep being told the check was sent. No check has ever come or came. The worst customer service and lack of concern for the customer. I was at work and my car was hit in parking lot. I was not even driving it was parked in parking space. Insurance adjuster came looked at car. Gave him my home address. So to State Farms stupidity they said they sent check to work. Check never came. So supposedly they resent check on 03-13-18 to home address( or so they say) said 7-10. Days. 10 days have passed no check. It don't take that long for mail to go from New York to California. Had to call 3-4 Times a day. Still being lied to about check. Awful funny two checks sent and yet I have received ditto, nada, nothing, zilch. Never in my life have I had to deal with such stupidity and ignorance from customer service. Yes I go snappy Sith them gave them a few unkind words and even yelled. Had someone took responsibility for the screw up instead of telling me wait a couple more days, go online put your bank account # their ( so I can get ripped off . To many hackers out there). I think I have been more than patient and waited long enough to be paid when it's not my fault.

State Farm lack of support

Our home suffered water damage on February 10th, 2018, which has resulted in the gutting of our kitchen. My husband and his family have had the same agent, Tyler Evans for over 30 years. Aside from a couple of small auto claims we have never had to use our policy for anything major. We are extremely disappointed in the way that we have been treated during this process. We have not had a kitchen in over a month and there is not end in site, our agent has not fully disclosed the benefits of our policy during this time and has offered no help. I also do daycare out of my home which as caused a huge disruption for everyone. We are making it work but it is extremely difficult. We have had challenges with our adjustor as well...there is very little communication and a lack of empathy towards our situation. I wonder how if would affect them if they were in our shoes. The water damaged is extensive and we have had to have asbestos removed and there is nothing left of our kitchen. After searching for a fair, honest and reliable contractor, we found one the we trust. We have old cabinets and our refridgerator on our deck, covered with a tarp, the adjustor has not offered to remove them or even acknowledge that they are there. There has not been one ounce of reassurance from anyone from State Farm that things will be ok...they do not have our back and have treated us poorly. We don't even know if we will get reimbursed for meals out and State Farm has not offered to assist with lodging should we need to be out of our home. We were under the impression that State Farm would have our back and that is certainly not the case. With no end in site we are extremely frustrated and upset. Not to mention that we have a family member dying from stage 4 cancer so the stress level is extremely high. We would advise anyone looking into State Farm to choose another company.. again, we have had the same agent since my husband was 16 and he is 50 now. We are disgusted and appalled with the way that this situation has been handled. We were told it could be up to a year before we have a kitchen again.

State Farm emergency road service coverage

I've had coverage with State Farm Since 2012. My premium has gone up several times but I've always paid it and on time. My car started giving me problems so I call for a tow or whatever but I get letter for them in 2015 about my roadside assistance which is included in my coverage so I give them a call. They give me some lame excuse about a limited number of uses. But I'm still paying for it so why can't I use it. Now I've received another letter starting that effective May 15, 2018 my coverage will not include roadside service.

State Farm liability accountability, professionalism, refusal to pay claims

On Sept. 2nd, 2018, my children had just gotten on a moped and ridden approximately 4 houses away and when proceeding through a right of way, a State Farm customer either ran a stop sign or failed to yield to the road that did not have a stop sign. She drove out from the left in front of my children who did not have a stop sign into the interaection and when my children attempted to brake and turn to the right to avoid a head on collision they ended up colliding with the rear passenger side of her vehicle hit their front tire causing them to fall and the forks were bent. The damage was minimal and our mistake was not calling the police on their client... but even with a witness, State Farm is refusing to pay saying that while their client states she stopped, it was my children who should not have hit her vehicle when she recklessly drove out in front of them and that my children, who having the right of way, should have avoided the accident. Because the witness did not see her stop (meaning she may not have even done so, and their client said she did), State Farm thinks that my children, who no one disputes were traveling under the speed limit, were in the wrong because since they didn't end up as good ornaments and hit the rear passenger side of the door, that it's their fault. The witness stated that the driver of the car 'plowed over my kids. The witness also verified our story to Star Farm that their client repeatedly said "she was sorry" and that "she never even saw them". The witness also previously lied and said my kids were doing tricks and then ran into her while the witness (and my kids) dispute this. State Farm refuses to pay a claim for $206 because it is the right thing to do.
Today, 3/19/2018, the claims rep from the Maryland office, Delrene, had the audacity to tell me that while she wasn't sure how old my kids were (16 and 18), they needed to be more careful and safe driving.
No State Farm... you need to educate your reps on the rules of right of way, failure to yield, the ethics in paying out when it's right, that your client isn't always right... I was told if I found a witness who could verify the truth then I could win my claim. I searched tirelessly cause I knew I was right and that their client was lying. They know it too. Shame on State Farm. How can they say that a person who has the right of way is at fault? How do they tell people who were driving correctly and who tried to avoid a collision caused by someone else that it was their fault? Then, how do you attempt to lecture someone and tell them to have their children be more careful when operating a vehicle that they were operating correctly? Not paying out to people you owe is essentially fraud.
