Review updated:

I called the Shoprite in Waretown NJ about a price I was charged. I had lost my receipt and the lady had to look up my info from my name. I had purchased turkey breast from the deli and was charged $5.99 a lb and it was on sale for $2.99 a pound. When the lady looked it up she told me yes I was over charged but... "you paved for it with food stamps !" What difference does it make how I paved for it? As a disabled veteran who now needs some help to support his family I think it was very belittling and rude to comment that ! I hope that's not the way they treat anyone else !
thank you

Because you used federal funds you need to have the receipt with you and your card for the refund. They can NOT give you cash for a food stamp purchase, THAT is illegal. It is called food stamp fraud and they could lose their license. NO store will do that for you. Find your receipt.
