Shoppers Drug Mart femmed pregnancy

I purchased this vitamin today. I was in a rush so I picked it up and paid and came home.when I was about to eat a capsule of it. I looked at the expiration date and it was expired one month ago. First of all please explain if I didn't notice the date. Damage caused to my baby who is growing in my womb ... who would have compensated for the damage. If I would have eaten these expired vitamins. ...
2nd when I went back to the store to return. Manager was rude. He looked at it and started walking to where it was without eve showing any kind of regret or embarrassment. ... and he said okay you want to exchange or get a refund... I mean come on... you are not even sorry for selling such important vitamins which are expired. ...
I was really looking forward to see some kind of shock. But it seemed pretty normal to him... probably that's why he was not even sorry...
I would like to see some compensations...
This shoppers is located at erinmills town center. Today is Saturday March 18.

I mean, yes, it sucks that they had expired vitamins out on the shelf and the situation could have been handled better, but if you were to have taken any you would have been fine.

Many expiration dates are set very conservatively because it benefits the supplement company. It is not dangerous to take expired vitamins, but as mentioned, the vitamins will lose their potency. The vitamins ("expired" by one month, meaning they're most likely not expired) would not have damaged your baby.

Shoppers Drug Mart customer service

I had went into the store yesterday (march 14th 2017), as I was proceeding to check out the cashier named Mikayla was extremely rude to my daughter and I as we were checking out. I did not like the customer service she had gave us and I will not be giving out good comments to my friends and family about this store. Definitely will not be going back.

Shoppers Drug Mart no 7 mens 50ml moisturizer

I purchased this product as I have been for years now, and have nothing but positive things to say about it. I recently ran into problems when the pump stopped working. I figured this would be no problem to return, so I tried to do so. I was told that there was nothing that could be done without a receipt or that I could wait until Monday when a manager was in. I did just that, and when I went in Monday the manager read a page about me, and then said there was nothing she could do without a receipt. I told her that I had paid for a full product not jut half, and that it was a shoppers brand. She told me the bottle feels empty, and without a receipt there was nothing to be done. I was absolutely offended that he accused me of trying to return a product I had already used. I have worked with the public for years now, and would never allow my employees to speak to a customer the way I was spoken to. I found the transaction on my bank statement, where I purchased the product several weeks prior. To avoid being offended and spoken to in such a fowl manner again, I left the store and left my product. I would appreciate some sort of compensation - even an apology would have sufficed. The product is somewhere around $25, which is not a substantial amount but an amount that I paid expecting to get the full use out of a product. I did not spend that money to have the product break, be accused of lying, and then receive no sort of apology afterward. I am absolutely appalled by the service I received, and until I feel as though I am valued by your company, I will no longer shop at your business.

Shoppers Drug Mart pharmacy

Hi, I left a complaint at the front desk about the following situation.

I went into the shoppers on 200 st 6339 . To get my prescription filled I was the first in line and I waited there for 10 minutes to drop off two prescription.
There was 1 lady in the pickup time and she sat there to talk for another 5 minutes .
I said please can I get some service over here she waved to me with my husband and said " yeh I'm with a costumer"
Of course I was eaves dropping the entire time so I heard what they were talking about since I got there and all 3 were already talking to the girl. about what her coverage was ... so they must have already covered the important details of prescription.
When Amy with the purple hair finally walked over it was only because my husband said " PLEASE can we get some help over here "
She came over and snarled " if you couldn't see I was already with another costumer" My husband replied " yes of course ive seen weve been standing here with my wife in pain observing your conversation for the past 15 minuties, Why should it take 3 people to help 1 when your drop off line up is growing, ( people walked away from the line ) . Amy ripped the paper out of my hands and glared at my husband. Amy said " People dont usualy come to a pharamcy in pain" ... Really think about what this women has just said .
My husband chuckled in wonder of the comment and apparently that got under Amy's skin enough to hand me back the perscription and say " You can take you buisness else where" she then walked away form the line up and another person came to the counter... apprently my 70 dollar percription Skin Mouth Enfection ... AND SPINAL Cord medication to help me with main till my ct scan today... what a joke and still wasnt good enough for your buisness and my injuires... to minor for Amy. I left A note in full detail of what happened that night around 8 pm. I have not received a call back yet. So My Husband called in and left a complaint with a lovely person on the phone to TORONTO. I love Shoppers and Love going there I genuinely hope Amy isnt the kind of staff you want represetning your company. 2 other people in the store saw what happened and assured me that they where going to call in and would never go to the pharmacy there in fear of being treated how we were.
#666992 - file number at shoppers the man who took it was incredibly nice, you should have staff like this working in your stores very refreshing after Amy

Shoppers Drug Mart overcharged for an item.

I left the store after purchasing 2 double packs of Cottonelle fresh wipes. The ticket said $1.99 or 3 for $5, , original price was $7.62, I thought steal. I take both. I leave Nd look at my receipt when I get home and notice I was charged $5.99 for both. I call to ask them to check the sku and ask what do I do.. She only checked the price on the computer and said it was 5.99 and there's no way it would be the price I said. The problem laid within the compiter so obviously check the isle with the ticket.. I explained exactly where it was and what was on either side of the now empty space. She doesn't and tells me to come to the store to take care of it. Its not in my neighbourhood so I went down 3 days later. I go in and talk to the cosmatologist who says it's not her department. I went to the front counter cashier, (claudia) she looks it up on the computer again says it's $5.99.. Calls the manager. She rudely tells me the item would never be that price, I insist it was. She made a big deal about it being 3 days prior, then leaves for 10 minutes. The cashier apologizes. I go over to the isle I said I got them from, pull the ticket, match the sku, bring it back to the cashier. And she agrees.. She asked me if I'd seen the manager yet and I hadn't. She apologized again... The cashier has already established the co literally price. Is wrong.. It doesn't even match the mark down price on the ticket of $7.62.. So I have no clue where she went because I went to the isle and walked around looking.. She comes back and tells me "you're wrong, the item hasn't been on sale since January" I immediately present her with the ticket I pulled. She says well that's wrong. The cashier says we have to honour it.. And the manager says give them to her for $1.99.. The cashier said no they're free, she knows about the price policy... I'm disgusted. I've been shopping at shoppers since I was a kid.. It's where I go to get all my make up, perfume, medicine, toiletries... And I get this much hassle? And attitude on top of that!? I was already ripped. Off once, then the manager doesn't want to honour the pricing agreement that's Canada wide, like I'm a idiot? I go to shoppers at least 3 times a month.. And a lot of the time I go in for toothpaste and walk out spending a couple hundred dollars... Not for that customer service.. That's embarrassing that a company would fake out someone for the price agreement for a couple bucks, your a multi million dollar company, and the mangers are trained to be that frugal with how they choose to practice it.. No thanks. I'll go to Sephora, and Walmart for now one.. That cashier Claudia, , should be the manager to be honest.

It's mandatory in every major retailer in Canada, so you may want to do your research before trolling comments. The scanning code conduct is implemented at Shoppers Drug mart.. So I'm not even sure why you're commenting. Sit down.

Was is misunderstood? Shoppers is suppose to follow it.. End of. And major retailers are also suppose to... Go do more research, you missed the entire point of the complaint. They didn't want to honour it and they were suppose to and did... What is it you don't understand? Girl bye, argue with yourself.. I'll keep getting my ### for free or 10 dollars off if I'm at a store that's suppose to honour it.. I've already spent way too much time explaining a straight forward situation with a positive out come, I'm over it. I suggest you find something better to do too.

Ooou doesn't someone ever sound entitled. I've done my work and my research with and for SCOPE. What if that manager came from Zellers, a store that doesn't participate in SCOPE, and was never told about it when he moved stores? You never know, just as most customers aren't aware of the code. Don't sound like such a damn b i t c h when someone comments. Would hate to come across you in real life. Must be fun at parties.

Oooooh good one.. Go troll elsewhere.. If you get a job, know the rules, end of. Your name calling is so hurtful.. This is to inform people, what are you doing? Just making false statements and getting upset when proven wrong? You sound like a ton of fun to. But I'm done here sweetheart, I made people aware of the pricing code of conduct, I got what I wanted. They rectified it.. It's over, for me. Now you can stew all you want in your misinformation and made up scenarios.. Take care ✌️if this is what you do with your time, knock yourself out.

The scanning code of conduct is NOT Canada wide; it's mandatory in Quebec and optional for retailers in all other provinces.

It is mandatory in ALL major retailers in Canada.. No not MA and PA shops.. So since it was shoppers drug mart in question, I'm not sure why you're commenting like you know something? Not even relivent. Good bye. By the way, , I got my money back because of the SCOC and on top of that extra optimum points... So tell me why you're on here trying to prove something? Shoppers was in the wrong, and they eventually rectified the situation.

The scanning code of practice is a voluntary code (although many stores do participate) through the competition bureau and retail council of canada.

For example, in every province besides quebec, only 2 home hardware locations participate in the code; because their associates/owners voluntarily opted in to the scope practice.

For example, recall doesn't participate in scope and neither do the few remaining zellers locations.

And i'm commenting because i'm an advocate of scope so it isn't misunderstood or misused by people like you.

Shoppers Drug Mart candle I purchased

Hello... 5:35 pm I limped to the counter bc I have a disability with a candle in my hand. The price wasn't on the candle. So she looks at me like I'm completely stupid and says go back and get another one. I said excuse me? I identified that I limp. Gave me unacceptable amounts of attitude with 5 people behind me and ask a male clerk to get another one for her. It's not my job to make sure your prices are on products. She was completely rude to me and I was very embarrassed. Don't know if I will go back into that store after this.
Short Pilapino girl.
Thanks for your time.

Shoppers Drug Mart feedback about shopping experience

This incident dates about 3-4 months back. I wanted a gift for my friend. So I went to Shoppers situated on the intersection of south fraser way and trethewey st in Abbotsford BC near Original Joe's restaurant. This lady working in the cosmetics section, Lisa, came and helped me decide what to get. I bought a pack of Georgio Armani Fragrance for Men but I found out that my friend already had that kind. So I went back to the store located in 7 oaks mall in Abbotsford BC but I was turned down for an exchange because I didnt have the receipt. I was quite disappointed and unhappy with the kind of experience that I had. I went back to the same store by original joe's. The same lady came to me asking for my concern. She talked to her manager and got the exchange authorized. I, in turn, spent even more money. Lisa helped me in the way that I was expecting. Thanks Lisa for such a wonderful shopping experience and for taking care of me even though I was a pain. She is soft-spoken, easy to get hold of, always helpful and smiling. I will go back to the same store just because of her

Shoppers Drug Mart beauty boutique

I am one to never write complaints but the sales lady in the beauty boutique was extremely rude and unprofessional. I had asked her a question about the Shoppers points, she then began to respond in a very condescending tone and spoke to me like a complete child. After I had been patient and listened to her banter (which made no sense) I was debating on certain products - I was on my way to grab some deodorant before making all of my purchases (which were high end cosmetics) before she rudely stopped me and said that all cosmetics have to remain in the beauty boutique and to please give them to her and then I can leave. I guess I'll be ordering off Sephora from now on!

On Jan 7 and 8, you have a promotional offer of 2 free movie tickets if we spend $75.00. We went to the store 3 times and spent the required amount of over $75.00 on each visits. We got 3 pairs of free tickets. We are about to use the tickets but when I checked the them 2 pairs expiry dates are Jan. 31, 2017 and the other pair is Oct. 31, 2017. How can I exchange those tickets dated Jan 31, 2017 to Oct. 31, 2017?

Shoppers Drug Mart baby wipes

The week of March 4 - March 10, 2017 flyer was advertising that huggies Natural Care baby wipes 184 pack was on sale for $3.49 each, according to the ad picture, no other description. When I arrived at the store, that product was not marked down to the advertised price, when I asked the cashier about it, they looked at the flyer and were confused when the price wasn't the same, they called the supervisor over, when the supervisor was finished his investigation, he didn't have an explanation for me, he only said the ad picture is wrong. That was a disappointing explanation, no offer to honor the flyer price.

Shoppers Drug Mart fraudulent product bought at fairview location - shoppers drug mart

I bought the Macadamia Hair Oil Mask from Shopper Drug Mart Location at Fairview Mall. This is not a cheap product, retails for $32.00. I have been using the same product for over 6 years and noticed when the consistency and the texture was off, I thought to myself- no Shoppers Drug Mart wouldn't sell knock-off products.

I happened to be downtown Toronto a few days later and went into a second Shoppers Drug Mart location- on King St. to check if the hair mask there. It was the right colour, smell and consistency of the original product. I purchased the real product there for the same price.

Please see attached images of the fake creamy product on the left and the pearlescent authentic product on the right. The packaging of the product differs as well. Receipts are below each product as proof of where each was purchased.

Why is one location of Shoppers selling fraudulent products? Is there no type of quality control being done to track the distributors of each store? This falls way below the Shoppers Drug Mart standards and I am appalled to have been a victim of fraudulent products.

I have yet to return to the store to request a refund, as I intend to go to the exact location I purchased it from to confront the Manager. I know I will be receiving a hard time when it comes to returning a product I already used (only once until I purchased the authentic product).

There are many consumers who have not used this product for years like I have been, and they are all victims of purchasing this fraudulent product.- at an original price. It is not only a matter of only receiving a refund, I expect a full investigation to be completed on this Shoppers Drug Mart location. There is an issue with the distributors that this location is using for this product, and I am sure they are not the preferred distributors of the Shoppers Drug Mart company.

Shoppers Drug Mart customer service

I made purchase at shoppers drug mart in eaton center Toronto (220 yonge st.) at 6:51pm on March 5th 2017.
This girl at cashier was really rude.
She was giving me an attitude since she saw me at cashier.
Maybe she was in a bad mood or she hates Asian( mostly likely this is why because she said "hi" and asking for optimum card nicely to a white gentlemen behind me even though I was still paying)
And throw my optimum card like she's touching dirty stuff. And whole this time she didn't look at me nor talk even one word.
I don't know why I'm just buying stuff and have to feel so uncomfortable.
Please educate your workers. I am not expecting perfect customer service but either worst. As long as they are getting paid, they should work as professional in any jobs.

Shoppers Drug Mart on duty manager march 4 between 3:30-5 pm

On March 4 I made some purchases at Shopper's in Edmonton 91 St and Ellerslie location. I forgot my Optimum card so I returned to have my points added. The Shoppers on 111 st and Ellerslie is closer to my home so I chose that location. I first asked a male cashier if he could add my points. He told me that only a manager could do that. He uncomfortably told me she was on break. Then he told me to wait and brought my receipt to another cashier. There was some discussion between the two of them on who should page the manager and neither of them wanted to. The second cashier (female) informed me that a manager (Sue) had left and the other one was on break. She finished assisting other customers and then paged for Sue to help with adding my points. No one came. The cashier apologized to me for the wait and then explained that she was nervous about paging again because it was the manager. I thought it was odd that she had paged for Sue, when both cashiers had already advised me that Sue was not there. After a few moments a woman came in wearing her coat and walked past me without acknowledging me (even though I was the only customer standing by the cash register that she had been paged to). Right away it became obvious why both cashiers were nervous about paging her. She pushed past the cashier, yanked the receipt out of her hands and while starting to add my points she belittled the cashier in front of me. She asked: Why are you paging for Sue? Why are you paging at all? I'm on break! The female cashier tried apologizing to her from the second she showed up but the "manager" kept interrupting her. Next she (annoyingly) tossed my receipt on the counter and says (in the most condescending way) : "This isn't even our store". She attempted to rush off past me (having never acknowledged me) . I was in such shock at how she was treating her employees that all i could say was "Great customer service ! I'll be writing in about you!"
I would like the manager to apologize to her employees. I left a voicemail with manager Sue asking for the same. If the manager in question does not want to be interrupted or feels that she does not need to talk respectfully to he staff, maybe she shouldn't be earning a manager's wage. I want to make sure that someone speaks to her or that she receives some training on customer service and respect in the workplace . Given the fear that both cashiers had about paging her it is clear that this was not a one time incident.
(When I returned to the original store to have my points added a cashier did it herself. I asked if she was a manager, she said she wasn't. I told her what happened at the other location and she explained that only the manager can add points to a receipt that is from a different store. So my understanding is that the 'angry manager' could have indeed added my points but instead chose to make me drive to the other Shopper's location).
I wish I would have been quick to ask her name, but I was in shock by her behaviour. I understand that there may be a policy in place, I am not asking for any exception to be made for me. I just want her behaviour towards the other employees to be addressed.

Shoppers Drug Mart customer service and returns

Date of incident: February 27, 2017
Location: Jane and Rutherford Shoppers
Wanted to return a previously purchased Enfamil ready to feed 18 x 237mL box. I had purchased 4 boxes as I had newborn twins. One boxes last me about 2 days; therefore, the 4 boxes would last me just a little over 1 week. Having this many boxes is normal in our household. Due to the high cost of taking care of newborn babies, as well as the fact that the babies weren't taking well to Enfamil, I had decided to switch. At this point, I had 4 boxes and no time to return the product.

I purchased 2 boxes from the Jane and Rutherford location and 2 boxes from the Jane and Wilson location. I tried to return all 4 boxes at the Jane and Rutherford location.

I had the original receipt and unopened boxes, the store didn't want to take the product back. The store at the end took 2 boxes back and refunded me the money for those products. Now I'm left with 2 boxes that I can't really use.

I'm disgusted at the fact that Shoppers Drug Mart would treat the situation as such, that I can't even return an undamaged product and a receipt to go with it. I spend well over $1000.00/mth on baby food and products. The point of me returning the Enfamil, was so I have the money back to purchase other baby products.

This is not even the first time that I'm having issues with Shoppers Drug Mart. For myself and my family, Shoppers Drug Mart is not the way to go.

Resolution: Refund my money

Shoppers Drug Mart unethical behaviour

Yesterday evening my sisters and I were out for dinner celebrating my completion of my nursing program. After dinner we decided to go to shoppers drug mart. It was around 9 pm that we pulled up to the front of the store. Before we had even entered the store the lady at the cash stared at us as we walked up to the doors. When we entered the store we had not been there two minutes before the girl at the makeup counter asked us if she could cash us out. We responded with "no" as none of us had anything in our hands and therefore nothing to "cash out". In moving around the store I noticed the lady from the cash following us in the aisles. She got the women in the back as well to come out and follow us through the aisles.
While I completely understand that theft does occur and it can be harmful to the business, it is extremely uncomfortable and insulting to be followed around the store. When I go in with my mother I do not get followed around like this. It was because I was with my two younger sisters.
Oddly enough this is not the first time this has happened to us. Four years ago the same thing happened except that time the cashier followed us out of the store and wrote down our licence plate number, or should I say my mother's licence plate number.
My sisters and I, as well as my parents, are going to be avoiding this business. I enjoy going to shoppers but my experience is ruined. I do not wish to be followed around a store and made to feel uncomfortable anymore. I am not sure what resolution will come of this complaint however I felt it necessary to submit one.

Shoppers Drug Mart narcissistic manager

I worked at Shoppers for 7 years from [protected] as a receiver/Merchandiser in Vernon, BC. The last 3 years there were pure hell as they hired a severely narcissistic man as the manager. Within his first month there he had sexually harassed me and crossed every single possible boundary. A complaint was filed with the associate but nothing was done because she was also a narcissist and didn't care about anything but profit. The emotional abuse got so bad I finally left and went back to school. My last straw was when I switched a shift and the manager yelled at me and slammed his office door in my face. Once again nothing was done about his behavior because the store was doing well and all that matters to the company is money and not the well-being of employees. I have only learned about narcissistic abuse this past year and how horribly I was treated at that store. How do I get a hold of hr to file a complaint or would anyone even care?

Shoppers Drug Mart security guard

Go to 43 Osborne location all the time and first time I did not feel welcomed and instead felt like a criminal as I was discriminated against and followed by security from as soon as I walked in the store with my newborn all the way to the end where he made it known as he stood behind me as the transaction for my purchases was being made with his arms crossed. There were other people that had walked in before me in the store as well and he did not follow them around or even checked on them but chose to follow me throughout my whole visit. I go there regularly and had never experienced that type of behaviour towards me but also have never even noticed security there before. Staff needs to learn how to treat all CUSTOMERS equally. Cashiers are very friendly though.

Shoppers Drug Mart check out/optimum points

I am annoyed that when I load coupons to my Shoppers Optimum card that for the third time in a row, I have been denied points at the check out. The computer for the cashier does not show which items I have received points on AND which items I did not receive points on. Today, for example, I specifically bought cat litter, a can of corn and a bag of coffee expecting points for these 3 items with my loaded coupons on my card and I did not receive points for the bag of coffee even though that coupon, correct date and all, was loaded on my card.

When I shop at FreshCo, Loblaws or Walmart, I can give the cashier coupons and the coupons will show up on their check out screens for how many dollars or cents redeemed for which item. At Shoppers, it literally just says, "promotional item/coupon" with a long 7 digit number beside it and the check out cashier can only apologize to me when I do not get the points I'm expecting because they themselves do not even know which items I got points on! If I ran a mega company, I wouldn't want my cashiers being clueless as to what the customer received points on or not and that the cashiers can only apologize.

I was a kind customer and bought the item not receiving any points when I could have held up the line and made the cashier return all the items and see if it was the coffee that I didn't get points on.

I have complained 3 times in person at the Shoppers I normally go to in my neighbourhood and this is my first formal complaint online. Please, update your systems or will have lost my loyalty of 26 years.

Shoppers Drug Mart postal services - canada post

On thrusday february 16th my daughter (under age so does not have id with address on it) did me a favor (since she walks by shoppers on her way home from school and I have a 6 month old at home) to pick up a parcel (baby formula, which canada post themselves did NOT try an attempt but rather just brought it to the depot, we have a new carrier who is lazy and yes I have already put in a complaint to canada post about the new driver).
When my daughter went in to pick up the parcel (age 15 years old and only school id) one lady was going to give her my parcel, when the older lady behind the counter stated she was rude and NOT to give it to her, thereby now I had to go in with my 6 month old on friday to pick up his formula. I have a photo of the older lady who refused my daughter the parcel and the comment made was pertaining to an incident with a missing parcel and they sent her to the main post office however the main post office had sent her to shoppers. I was on the phone and was prevvy to everything going on and my daughter was by no means rude. But your worker however is and I would like to put in a formal complaint for her lack of customer service. Not to mention I went in thrusday evening and it was supposed to be open till 9pm but when I was there at 7pm it was closed with a sign stating they would be back at 725pm however i waited till 730pm and couldnt wait anylonger because my 15 year old was watching my 6 month old and I was only supposed to be 10mins and had to get going.
the lady should not be working in customer service with such a snotty attitude and inconvinence, why say it is open till 9pm but then have a closed sign at 7-725pm but then still do not show up at 730pm.
older lady in question is in the photo attached, she has been snotty to me in the past as well, it is like she doesn't like her job...she is not a people person

1. It clearly states on the pickup notice, that proof of address is required in order to pick up the parcel. Chances are, the lady behind the counter wasn't rude to your daughter and she used that an an excuse to get you off of her back about not getting the parcel; and 2. it shows on the front window of EVERY shoppers drug mart that no photos are to be taken within the store. So not only have you ignores two policies put into place, taking photos of people on private property is illegal; I sincerely hope that Shoppers Drug Mart location presses charges against you. ####.
