Ramada false deceptive practices

Imperial Majesty Cruise Lines + Ramada Vacation scams are nothing but a RUSE to scam you. The ship in nothing but a floating dirty disgusting rust bucket. Better off not going on this germ ride. And the cost is $798 and they want to scam you for a $99 port tax when the charge is really $59. They get you for $40 just because they are cheap, The Ramada rooms are slightly above Motel 6 the roachy ones near the highway. Ramada always has vacancies so they give you one of their worst. The Ramada in Ft Lauderdale is 20 miles from the beach in a questionable area near 441. The Ramada in Orlando isn't any better. The food sucks too.
You will be in the bowels of the ship

The entire object of this "vacation" is to con you into paying $798 plus hotel room taxes, airport surcharges, + a bogus port charges, etc. they have akcikback program with the rental company with many hidden fees.

THIS IS ALL ABOUT MAKING YOU SIT THROUGH A HIGH PRICED HIGH PRESSURE TIME SHARE PRESENTATION

The phone room they sell from is also a dump. Broken phones, a scummy place. The telemarketers are mostly low level script readers. "THANK YOU FOR CALLING IMPERIAL MAJESTY CRUISE LINES, This call may be monitored for quality contro, MY NAME IS SCAM YOU MAY I HAVE YOUR CONFIRMATION NUMBER"

THE TELEMARKETERS READ THEIR SCRIPT just to get you to a point where the TO (Take Over Manager NANCY OR PHIL can come to the phone...lie a little more to get the credit card number. DONT GIVE IT TO THEM. The will run the card looking to see the most they can get. They run your card at 798, 698. 598, 498 etc

THAT'S THE STORY...IT'S RIP OFF EVEN THOUGH THERE IS A SHIP.

I went on one of these cruises with my parents and I don't know all the details but I know we had to fight tooth and nail to get anything out of these people. We did eventually get a nice hotel and a nice cabin but it was a royal pain in the rear. The other couple that went with us didn't fight for the goods and they took what cruise line offered and they were stuck with the ugliest dirtiest smelliest rooms anyone could have gotten at no other place then the ramada. Theyre room on the ship was on the 5th floor at that level you feel every wave that the ship hits. But all in all I wont say it was a scam but I would say that it's just not worth all the trouble. Even the time share presentation was terrible and those people really do try to rip you off. My aunt bought one for 11000 and she found out that someone else got the same package for 5000. She canceled the transaction before it went through. If your into putting up with BS all day then this is the trip for you but to me its not worth it at all. You would be better off paying for your own cruise. It was the first time in Florida for the couple we went with and they said they are never going back. But all in all that's a first hand expiriance of this rotten deal

First of all to all who took their sweet time to write rumors, Caribbean Cruise Line is not indeed a scam! i work there...it's the real deal...its a great vacation deal we offer. And it doesnt cost no $800 or $700 like yall say...

-rental car w/unlimited mileage for a week

i worked for the company that did this and i hated it every min, i was fired within an 1hr of working, they will scam you of everything, just becareful

Ramada horrible

Within my 1 night stay at the Ramada the power in my hotel went completely out. My 2 children and i stayed outside for 20 minutes before the maintenance guy finally returned handing me a key and telling me i had to move rooms. No i am sorry, let me help you with your bags, he simply walked away, i had to get all of our belongings in the dark, AND find my new room by myself with a 6 and a 8 year old. We get to the new room with was filthy hair clips on the bed, half drinking juice cups on the table. I decided to order a movie, keep in mind my 2 kids were in the bed. After pressing play an adult movie came onto the tv. I called downstairs they said we eill fix it. 10 minutes later i called back they said it was fixed I put on the movies again, but now it was half way through the adult movie and even more explicit. I called back and they told me they would fix it again, I told them to forget it and the lady gave me an attitude telling me I ordered a movie and they were already fixing it, to wait and it would be done soon. Needless to say their customer service was horrible! not once did they say I am sorry for your inconvenience. When i called the manager she said she would look into it! HORRIBLE.

Ramada scam!

My husband and I are currently on our honeymoon (yes, literally at this moment). There is much I'd rather be doing on my honeymoon than share my troubles, however my husband and I have reached a point where we are prisoners of a vacation package based on lies. It all started with an envelope I received in the mail from Ramada Plaza Resorts. We called the number and were interested in the details of a Florida vacation with a cruise. During the hour-long conversation on the phone, my husband (fiancé at the time) was thorough in his evaluation of details regarding our stay. He repeatedly asked what the catch of the whole deal was, and was repeatedly assured that Ramada Plaza Resorts offers "thousands of travelers" vacations each month, keeping their hotels full, and negotiates substantial savings with the cruise lines and rental car agencies. "By substantially reducing costs" through "volume" it allowed them to pass the savings on to us. This is practically word for word out of the Ramada Plaza Resorts reservation form booklet we have in front of us at this moment. Also during this conversation, my husband was assured that the vacation package included all meals at Ramada's "first class" resorts. So we booked our first ticket and guaranteed an extension on the timeframe for purchasing the second ticket due to our long engagement. As the time arrived where the non-extended time frame was to elapse, we were harassed to buy our second ticket. Many calls later, our earlier agreement (for the time extension) was reestablished. Soon after, we also were given warning from a Ramada Plaza Resorts salesman that people who booked the cruise included in our same package were disappointed, and advised us to upgrade. This turned out to be a mixed blessing.

Now for the reality…..After a late arrival to Fort Lauderdale, we checked into our hotel after the Ramada Welcome Center hours. That night we found out that the hotel hadn’t booked us for our second night, another mixed blessing. Entering our hotel room, we were first disappointed by the reality that, contrary to what we were told, the room was far from first-class. Next surprise was our 8:00 a.m. phone call from the Welcome Center informing us we were scheduled for an 8:30 a.m. timeshare tour at a resort 30 minutes away in order to receive the cruise we thought we were entitled to from our booking expenditures. We quickly got ready for our day and made our way to the Welcome Center, where we expressed our surprise to this requirement. My husband expressed that the mandatory timeshare tour was left out of his lengthy conversation with Ramada sales representatives. In response, the Welcome Center employee flips to page 22 of our reservation form booklet to point out the line “Ramada Plaza Resorts promotes discounted vacation packages for the purpose of introducing the benefits of vacation ownership. Attendance at a presentation on the benefits of vacation ownership is required.” Such attendance was never expressed in the thorough conversation my husband had on the phone, nor in the video outlining the vacation which Ramada sent us. Finding ourselves in a jam, we complied with this requirement. After a rude experience with the timeshare tour, we then continued with our vacation. Following the timeshare tour, we received our cruise voucher and picked up meal vouchers from the Fort Lauderdale Ramada welcome center. While in the dining room of Fort Lauderdale Ramada, we encountered other vacationers who were as thoroughly misled as we. In fact, there were eight couples in all who we talked to in our short time in the dining hall. Within their experiences, they too were lied to by Ramada Plaza Resort salespeople. One man, Tom, from New York, explicitly expressed his concerns to the salespeople that he didn’t want to have any part in timeshare hoaxes, and he was assured that no timeshare tours were required. His reality was much different when he found himself in the same jam we were; he grudgingly complied with the requirement. Tom didn’t receive the same warning that we received about the short, disappointing cruise, and so he was quite disappointed in the description he was given over the phone describing his cruise that turned out to be sub par.

Our second night was fortunately booked with a different resort that was far superior to the Ramada Resort, a blessing in disguise that resulted from Ramada’s mismanagement of our vacation. We went on from there to our cruise through Carnival, which was everything that our honeymoon should have been. Today was our disembarkation from the cruise. Tonight we find ourselves in Orlando without the meal vouchers that we were promised over the phone, and without budget for eating out for breakfast, lunch, and dinner for the next three days. Overall, our concerns have been met with very little assistance from the Welcome Centers, either in Fort Lauderdale or here in Orlando. We feel victimized on our own honeymoon, with little leverage over the liars who pinned us in this predicament.

P.S. We just found this website with people who have fell victim to Ramada Plaza Resorts scam. We found it too late, but hope we can make shed some light on this for future vacationers.

I wish I had read this earlier...we.re on our honeymoon too and I.m sickly disappointed in thee quality of this hotel...im border line about to just take a loss on the money and make our own honeymoon...but we lack the funds at this point. All hell is going to break loose tomorrow

I am very sorry to hear about your awful experiences, but just a quick warning for readers from the UK; they are ringing up landline numbers, as soon as you pick the phone up, you get a recording of an american woman, put the phone down, don't even think about speaking to the operators as they reverse charge the call.

Ramada no refund of deposit received

I received a voucher in the mail for a vacation package and i responded. The entire vacation was explained but none of the refund and non refundable deposit information. At the time it seemed fair priced so i went ahead and put a partial deposit on the trip because i didnt have all the money at that time. Well i talked to my girlfriend and we decided not to take the trip. I called back and tried to cancel and refund my deposit and was told i couldn't. So i got a intension on the trip planning until 4/18/2008. I recently did some research on this company and found some disturbing facts and now i want my full refund because they are misrepresenting themselves by showing lavish hotels and etc, which in fact are very old hotels etc. Please contact me if any other details are needed in order to help me get my money back from these thieves... Thanks

Ramada by Wyndham 213 Taunton Ave, Seekonk, MA is a filthy hotel do not stay here. Everything needs to be up graded from carpets to wall paper.

On August 22, 2023 we arrived at the Ramada Inn for a work trip. The first room they put us in was infested with bed bugs. We told someone and we were put in another room. The second room they put us in, the air conditioner did not work correctly, and the toilet did not want to flush. We ended up moving to a different hotel the next night.

I wast just starting work at my third day. At work i was prepping food and trying to cook when the management team and wait staff stood there and lauged at me. They gave me crazy looks and laughed. All the management stood there and laughed. thery were on there phones and laughing at me? Why?

I will like to be refunded for my stay Nov 11-16 at Ramada Financial plaza the living conditions were not up to standards and the mold cause me sickness and I'm highly disappointed in the way Tammy and management has handled this situation

I stayed here for 3 or 4 weeks I cleaned my own room cause it was dirty n I couldn't trust the cleaning crew I didn't even get my deposit back there was bugs n the room and on the outside of the hotel every time the door was open the bugs would get worse on the inside my fridge wouldn't even work in when i got it to come on it got so cold that the hole inside turned to ice n pushed the door open there were always people fighting by the doors n loud screaming the people at the front desk only one was nice the others were clueless in just rude

Room is not made up properly and toilet is dirty . Problem reported to front desk and but it seems no knowledge or luck of experience by hotel staff to resolve the issue.
