ByoJet / Jetescape Travel Ripp off

Hi,

byojet ripping off to change date when airline cost to change is cheaper. Change date from 13th Feb to 23rd Jan. Byojet reference number BYO20656671.

I need either a refund or date changed without any extra fee if not i am going to ombudsman.

Spoke to 3 agents. Useless gave me 3 different kind of information wasted mg time. Need answer asap

ByoJet / Jetescape Travel Flight booking

Its total a SCAM. I saw the price on the web is $634 for 1 ticket , after process6payment for 3 tickets for $1,902, it came out only 2 tickets for the same amount I have to pay $1,902. Sending me 2 invoices with total different numbers on it. All calls and emails are ignored. Make a big mistake booking this agency without reviewing them! I got some pictures of the price on the website before booking and after processing payment, and the different invoices they sent out.

ByoJet / Jetescape Travel flights cancelled due to Covid and refusal to refund

We booked flights during covid and could not travel. We had to cancel, and BYO Jet took over $1000 to do this leaving a credit voucher for us to use.

I asked for a refund, and they said they would discuss this with the airline - British Airways and get back to me. They didn't.

rebooked but then divorced and cancelled again - losing more money.

Today I tried to book again using the voucher number, but it didn't work. Apparently, I have to book in the same names, same destination, and same airline. There are no British Airways flights - no longer affiliated.

My ex-husband won't pay me the money and I want to take a family member. This has gone on since 2020. No one will speak to me, and I continually get the run around. Are you able to help please.

ByoJet / Jetescape Travel Using a Credit Voucher

I have been trying to use a voucher which I accepted due to flight cancellation in April 2020 due to Covid.

I have had nothing but hassle and trouble and feel that BYOJet are scamming me! I have agreed to all conditions - use same airline, has to be used by the original travler, pay upfront and get refund etc..

now they quote me £2025 for the same flights I see on the British airways site for £1289, BYOjet no long 'sell' BA flights on their site

when I complain they said its BA's issue and I should speak with them and I speak with BA and they will not discuss and push me back to BYOjet!

I have called multiple times, requested manager call backs (seems they are 24x7 but managers dont work the late shifts) - call centre based in Phillipines!

Disgusting service! I have also raised a claim with ABTA now as totally fed up dealing with what seems like disingenuous organisation!

Desired outcome: Refund of my money!

ByoJet / Jetescape Travel Sheer harassment to reschedule a flight despite availability

This is the worst company to book your travel tickets from. They make the customer suffer to reschedule the flight despite availability quoting stupid excuses like we have different systems and you're not a new customer we cannot book/reschedule you for that price. Their customer service helpline number is good for nothing and simply tests your patience. I will go above and beyond to advise pdople to never use their services. They are just out there to cheat people.

ByoJet / Jetescape Travel Schedule change - flight cancellation

The alternative flight will depart Sydney on 7/04 and arrive in Tel Aviv on Saturday 8/04, this is a dilemma as it's the Sabbath there and transport will not be available till the evening. This means I must stay in the airport till late at night to arrive at my destination very late and I may not be able to check-in.

As suggested, I cannot return from Tel Aviv on 22/04 as I am on a tour, and I have booked activities and places to visit that I don't want to miss out on. Since this cancellation was from your side, you are obliged to find me a suitable alternative flight.

Desired outcome: My original ticket was from Sydney to Tel Aviv departing on 8/04 and then from Tel Aviv to Sydney departing Tel Aviv on 23/04 in the afternoon. Please provide an alternative with the same days and time originally confirmed before.

ByoJet / Jetescape Travel Flight booking did not exist

I was booked on a flight to mumbai with a stopover in dubai.

When i got to dubai there was no record of me on the second leg of the flight.

I booked and paid for both legs via BYOJet, when checking back over emails I only had the iteinerary for the first leg even though i had booking confirmation of both legs.

I had to pay for a hotel for the night and book my own flight for the next day from dubai to mumbai.

BYOjet phone lines were only open at certain hours so i could not contact them about it at the time. I have emailed and tried calling all this time (this happened in december). I got one not useuful repsponse from them and have not heard back since.

Desired outcome: Refund on the flight and extras i paid for

BYO changed flight without consultation/authorisation or providing alternatives. Change from 55min layover to a 22 hour layover. Contacted BYO 14/4 hung up on, then reconnected with someone who could change the flight if I paid $1450(AUD) which I refused due to the company changing the flight, told issue would be resolved 24-48 hours. 22/4 still no contact form BYO, I have called, on hold for 2 hours to have someone answer then hang up on me when explaining the circumstances

Desired outcome: Flight to be changed/alternatives to be provided without additional payment

I have flights booked to the UK 21 February, 2022. Due to Covid changes with Omnicron it no longer safe for us to travel. I rang and spoke with a lady after being on hold for nearly an hour. Her English was poor and I struggled to understand her. I asked her to place the information she supplied into writing in an email and she said she. I have not received an email. I am also bewildered that I took out Covid protection but have been told I will lose over $1300 if I cancel. She could not explain clearly why I was losing this money. I would like someone to investigate the options for cancelling these flights with a much less loss of money. No one should be penalised to this degree under the current Pandemic!

Also I sent 2 online queries asking the same over a week ago and no one has replied. With under a month until the scheduled travel I am very worried that I have been totally ripped off. I will lodge this with the Ombudsmen also.

ByoJet / Jetescape Travel Refund on cancelled flights

Our Flights booked through BYOjet to the US from the UK with Virgin Atlantic were cancelled in April 2020 due to COVID-19 and we still have no refund we have been waiting since May for this refund now you cannot contact anyone from BYOjet no e-mail, no phone. Has this company gone into administration because then I can get my money back from Virgin?

ByoJet / Jetescape Travel Cancelled flight without notice

Hi,
I booked for a flight to Fiji via Brisbane from Sydney on the 28/03/20.
Upon arriving for checkin i noticed that the flight VA909 was cancelled..
I didnt receive any email from BYOjet about the cancellation..
Now im trying to contact BYOjet for a refund and have been unable to get through or waiting for ever on the phone..
I have been trying to contact them by phone since the 28th and been unsuccessfull..

ByoJet / Jetescape Travel selling oman air business class tickets

Bought Oman Air business class 2 tickets through BYO Jet advertised on SKYSCANNER. Payment taken by BYO. Confirmation for reservation is received as advertised from BYO and Oman Air in October. The routing is outwards LHT-Muscat-CMB, inbound CMB-Muscat- LHR.

After 7 weeks BYO jet contacts stating Oman Air does not operate the connecting flight sold to us from Muscat to Colombo on out bound route and forcing 16 hours layover ! On the return flight again, flight is cancelled and delay of 9 hours plus!

When we declined, we are threatened by BYO Jet, we will loose all the payment or partially to be decided by Oman Air. Blackmailing? When called Oman Air refuses to discuss stating the dealing is between Oman Air and BYO jet and not the passenger. We are asked to contact BYO Jet. And in return BYO Jet blames Oman Air.

All this is using SKYSCANNER legitimising rouge online sellers giving them a perfect online platform?

The issue is still not resolved and no response from Oman Air or BYO jet.

ByoJet / Jetescape Travel incorrect itinerary, unethical behaviour

I've booked a flight syd-ccu-syd on 21-31 oct, 2019 and they sent me an incorrect itinerary after how many emails i've sent. They reply with you that they will come back to you 3 working days. I've already sent them several emails and contacted them on the phone but i've got a rude customer service call centre. I've asked for the address of the company in qld and they won't give it to me and been asking me why I do have to contact the head office.
All I need is my correct itinerary and i've already paid for it, but they make my queries so unbearable and giving me a hard time. I've already lodged a complaint with nsw office of the fair trading and also sent an email to lenny padowitz, the managing director.
It's the first time in my over 15 years of booking flights that this online travel agency takes more than 5 days now to resolve my queries. Unbelievable.

ByoJet / Jetescape Travel air tickets - ref byo 8422706

Dear Madam/Sir,

On 25 Sep, i.e. day before yesterday, I booked 3 Sydney Delhi return tickets, for travel in Feb 2019 via BYOjet. Yesterday, when I read the email they sent me, it showed a return date of 15 March instead of 15 Feb. I straight away rang and requested a change of date (within 15 hours of booking). They asked me for AU$ 500 ($260 Airline fee + $140 BYOjet fee + $100 fare difference) per person for change of date, while I am getting a whole new return ticket for the same dates, for AU$ 750pp (screenshot attached). The change of date charges seem outrageous.

When I requested cancellation of ticket, so I could buy from someone else, they said, it's a non refundable ticket, so the same charges would apply. They also refused to show me their IT log where I keyed in the dates of travel, claiming it is confidential. It seems preposterous that my own record is considered confidential. And if I have indeed made the error of writing the wrong date, I'm willing to pay the fare difference (if applicable). It's not as if I've changed my mind, I am asking for a change of date as soon as I've got the email showing the incorrect return date.

I am totally disappointed with the lack of concern shown by BYOjet towards their customers. I request you to step in and help me either in getting a refund or in getting the return date changed without them charging me an outrageous sum of money. They are cheating customers, I have now read several negative reveiws on various websites, including facebook from disgruntled customers who have been cheated by them.

Kindly help.
