Sub: Problem with front suspension.
Dear Sir,
I bought a new Swift Dzire in Febraury 2009. When I drove it in the first week itself I noticed abnormal noise from the front suspension. Whenever the car goes over a hump or a pot hole the front suspension makes some metal rubbing noise. I reported it to the dealer (Bimal Auto, Bangalore) and he promised me that he would take care of it in the first service and if needed he would replace the parts. During the first service they did something and the noise did not come for a month and then satrted coming again.
So when I contacted the dealer they said that they would take care in the next service (5000 kms). I have finished that service too and the problem persists.
The dealer say that it is a design problem and it is there in all the swift. Even MUL is aware of this and they have an instruction to just grease the part during service and send it back.
I have bought a car after investing 7 laks and I do not have noises like a bullock cart when I drive it. What is alarming is the way MUL has handled it. They know there is a problem and instead of resolving it, they are making there customers live with it.
On checking with many other swift Dzire users, I found they too have the problem.
I want to get some resolution to this issue. MUL should recall this item, and refit an appropraite one with a good design.

The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
hey guys need not to worry with suspension.just a small thing you need to do.go to service station and tell them to grease the caliber pins of disc brakes and problem solved.
You are right mr. Nithin, I do have same problem in the front suspension
in my dzire the driving comfort is worse than that of a three wheeler autorickshaw. even with a small stone on road the vehicle gives a rude shock and its like i m traveling on a bullock card on a muddyvillage road. MUL is not responding properlyand the dealer says it is becuase of new type of suspension used by company. can any one gv me some feed back or solution

Yes, i too have the same problem in my Dzire. I bought my new car in August 2010. My vehicle was making this noise since its first week running itself. Despite servicing the vehicle it is making the same noise like metal rubbing with the metal in the front shocker.

YEs even my Dzide Zdi have a similar proble with front left suspension.
On the same size pot hole or bump other suspension do not make any noise, but the front left suspension makes a very big noise like smthing had hid the car from under
I am also having similar problem. It would be grateful if company could come up with some solution.
Hey guys try and give spacers to the suspension. Just give a trial run for 500kms and see if there is jolting or you feel that you are not getting the grip. Just try it or else you will have to change the dampners to Sparco brand available with Methods
I too have a very similar issue with my Swift Dzire VDI that was purchased from Bimal auto agency. The noise still persists even after it's 2nd service.
I have booked a car with berkley automobile at Chandigarh on 20/04/2008 with commitment if three month delivery on the name of Sanjiv Kumar. But they are not giving the delivery till now . Even now they are telling the expected date of delivery. The berkley automobile is giving me very much harrassment . Whenever I contacted to the salesman regarding the delivery, He always says that I will contact you back. But no response come from the agency salesman. Please do the needful.
