When you visit this page. It looks innocent. A page that's supposed to help animals. However the page admin Anita Sworensen has allowed it to be a hate page. The most recent comments where removed because they attacked a local animal shelter and its volunteers. She sounded off because a contributor to her page was denied a dog. Yet she makes comments to be careful who you adopt to. She never gets facts and her story's are always one sided. For an animal lover. She attacks a shelter, it's 150 animals, and the volunteers. Other attackers with her is the owner of Tuff Dog Bakery Vickie Mandrell. Also a former volunteer Meg who was told not to return to the shelter.

Perhaps the dog was seen under the girlfriend's name. After all if you read the complaint he speaks of the girlfriend and the messages she received.
As for allowing the Twilight page to be a hate group --- we do allow people to voice their frustrations. We allow people to post their first hand experiences with businesses and shelters. That doesn't make us a hate group. People are speaking the truth about their own experiences, both the good and the bad.
It's one particlur organization that can't take any criticism of any sort that ends up making these types of hate posts. That's where the hate is coming from -- not from Twilight.

So the post about the puppy. The guy was never at the Clinic. That was posted in a private group.
I wonder what happens when people don’t speak the truth? The silence is interesting.

Jo-Ann Duncan... the Twilight page tries to help. It's certainly not easy. There are way too many cats and there's not enough shelters willing to take them in. There's also not enough low-cost spay/neuter optons. But I did hear what you said -- I understand how frustrating the "run around" can be and I will keep what you said in mind and I will try to make a difference in the future.
I think it’s a combination of everything. Last March started trying to find a home for 4m and 1 female cat. Got runaround at shelter. Criticized on FB group. FF to last May 5more kittens cuz the lady of the house got out. FF to Oct last year she had 5 more kittens of which only 3 survived. Found a farm for the original 4m which they adore. Rehomed 1 from each litter. And now another is about to have kittens. My run around is shelters tell me to go to group and group tells me to contact shelters. I get offered help to fix the pets and all but it doesn’t come thru. I contact shelter they say they’re underfunded and there’s no programs. It’s a crazy mess. I get more and more cats and nothing I can do financially. Which they weren’t even suppose to become our pets we took them in when young as a favor for a few weeks until the person moved. So hear I sir knowingly unable to care for pets. No end in site. It’s been over a year. I’m at my wits end with this. I don’t want them having any more kittens. We love them like our own children but can’t afford to keep them. I’ve found the FB group to be a joke. Too rude.
This group is at it again. Allowing members to put down local vets who try to help with s/n. Also allowing one person to put down shelters. Because they couldn't take in her dozen kittens and feral cats. I encourage other Veteranarians and shelter supporters to speak up. Keep in mind if you do on Twilght Bark Anita will remove you from the group and erase your comments. There is currently one conversation on the page that has some Veteranarians upset. The women who started the hate is in for a surprise. When and if she gets vet care for her animals. The Vets know she could blast off about them on Twilght Bark. Better for business to stay away from anyone on that page that is showing the hate.
This is not a hate page..The admins of this group only have the best interests of the animals and try to help people. The group is wonderful! One of the people that complained is a young immature snotty volunteer with a foul mouth.
Rita Sworensen is at it again. Probing the local shelter Volunteers for information on dogs that have been surrendered. Then retaliating on her FB page when she doesn't get what she wants. That is confidential information. Her story's are always one sided. She removes anyone's comments that don't suit her. Well Rita I know supporters are watching and will jump at the chance to have your page removed. Just like your hate comments.
These people have issues. What about the animals?
